    Used to fit

My first BM bra and it's amazing! I think this bra is really made for my breast shape (tall roots, deep projected narrow very center full breasts) and the 70K seems like the best size for me in this bra. The band fits like it should, quite snug but I can fit 2 fingers under it. I think it is true to size for a 70 band, stretching to 82cm (32inch). The wires are narrow and I don't have empty fabric on the sides for once. The cups are very deep and projected and offer room where I need it. The gore tacks and lies flat. So it's ... great to notice that if a bra like BM Antonina that offers enough center room and projection the gore will tack.

What I noticed compared to my 70K - Ewa Michalak » Sf Gładzioch Beż (849) that the cups are taller and there is more coverage. This is a good thing for me since I have breast tissue that comes of very high and many bras cut in. I also noticed that the gore and the wings are a little bit taller than on my SF. This makes it more supportive for me. The shoulder straps are wide but don't adjust long enough. It's just okay when I have them on the loosest possible setting, but they should not be any shorter!

The shape of this bra is very front and center and projected. I really like this because in my opinion it looks better on my body shape than if my boobs are east - west and wide looking in a bra. From the side my boobs look a bit pointy in profile... almost a bit like a torpedo boob (just a bit) and I'm not sure if I am 100% comfortable with it. I used to hate this look when I was at a bigger bra size because it made my boobs even bigger looking but now I'm okay with it.

The material on this bra is amazing. Online pictures make the lace appear quite bulky and it looks like it would be itchy, but it isn't. The cream white lace on top is super soft and thin (not flimsy) and stretchy. The lower cup is lined with a non stretchy beige colored mesh and the upper cup is lined with a stretchy beige lace. So the upper section of the bra does fully stretch and adjust to the shape of the breast. Also there is no elastic band at the edge of the cups so no cutting in. Yay!

I only wore the bra for a short time but it felt very supportive. I did not have to adjust my boobs nor did I feel any pain from the bra so far. I will update here once I have worn it a few times.

It looks like a beautiful fit. Yay! Glad it worked out for you. New options are always a wonderful thing, and the BM is the most popular style so we see new models regularly!!

This looks fantastic on you! Great that you found a good fit!

    • 7

Thanks everyone! I'm really happy with the bra. It held up well over 7 hours of wear today.

    • 7 hours, that is an excellent report!

    • 3

Yes it is. The bra is a win! I think that the uplift declines a bit over the day… Overall the shape is more natural in the bra. It still feels supportive. I got some red marks from the straps, but no shoulder pain so far. I think that the wires and band do most of the work like they should… but with boobs my size there will be always significant weight left on shoulder straps too. I'm just glad there was no pain yet!

    • 1

Congrats ! That amazing achievement sure sets the score high, very high!

    70K

    Fits

Finally I'm reviewing this. I previously tried the 75K - Ewa Michalak » Sf Gładzioch Beż (849) and the cups felt too roomy and big for me, it wasn't as supportive. The band was also a bit big. So I decided to get another in 70K. This bra fits me quite well. The band is snug and tight (but not too tight) at the loosest hooks. The cups fit me well, there is no gaping. I really love how projected and round the shape is from the side and how narrow my boobs look from the front. They are not outside of my body like in ... some known east-west fitting bras. I even think that it makes me look smaller from the front, like I'm 2-3 kg less heavy. From the side it makes my boobs look a bit more round and full than some other bras. I think that 70K is the best size for me in this bra. Maybe a 75JJ would have been working too.

I love the color, it's perfect for my skin tone. Also the issues I had with the strap lenght are not so bad anymore. I still wear them on the loosest setting possible but they don't hurt me. I think it's because the band in this 70K is tighter and does more work than it did in the 75K and so the straps don't dig in as much. I still think that I could not do with any shorter straps in this bra. The wires usually don't hurt me too much which is a good thing. The only thing that could hurt a bit at the end of the day is the elastic edge on band, it does dig in quite a bit. The band itself is a stretchy lace and feels comfy but the elastic edge feels a bit tight.

The other "issue" I have is that the bra is a bit too open on top and the gore a bit too low to fully contain my boobs. Let me explain: so If I put on the bra everything is in place and If I don't run in this bra everything will stay in place but with wear my boobs move a bit more to the center and try to overflow the gore a bit. It does not look like real quadboob because there is the stretchy lace containing them. But the lace is very soft and stretchy and does not really hold my boobs too well. Also there is more "upper boob jigging" when I walk in this bra than in my very tall Bravissimo bras.

This looks like a great fit to me!

For the record I order 10cm longer straps in all my EM bras because they are just too short for me!

    • 1

The SF style is a bit shorter than the BM, so if you want a bit more containment that style may suit you better. The BM also has more immediate projection which can be helpful with the fuller bust. That being said, the SF gives more support, so if you are jiggling more than you are comfortable with in it, the BM may not be the best as you most likely would jiggle more in it.

It looks like a great fit!

    • 1

MamaPagan She also has minimal wrinkling at the bottom of the cups which I thought was a standard with this bra! So good to see

    • 1

This looks great! So good to see something that works really well.

I can definitely understand with the upper-jiggle, but I've realised that, for me, if I get anything more rigid, it cuts in..I guess it's a mixture my soft boobs plus being full on top..

But I can also understand how bravissimo would be more appealing when it comes to containing all the breast tissue.

    • 1

brasaremean. Indeed! That was a signature aspect of the SF. 😄

    • 1

      That looks great 😀

    • Looks really good! I wish mine fit me this well. I get the standard wrinkling at the bottom of the cup.

    • I come from a family of big bosoms but without the well-fitting bras that I can see here sometimes. The ladies from my family would never wear something as basic as a T-shirt as they feel they look too frumpy, dumpy, and ill-defined. So, I love the T-shirt shot where the girls are looking svelte, defined, and you with a waist. Keep up the fine fitting!

    • MamaPagan I think I stick with this cut if I'm going to order from EM again. I don't think a bra in my size should be less supportive than the SF, for me at least, I need all the support I can get from a bra.

    • Frazzleberry Soft full on top boobs are just so difficult to fit! I think we just have to make compromises. Do you still wear your Bravissimo Nina bra? My Bravissimo bras all have more fabric on the cups and are quite a bit taller than the SF. I wondered how both bras fit me but the SF is deeper and more projected. I also think that is why there is more movement, the boobs are not as close to chest than with a more shallow, tall bra.

    • 1

alisa Understandable. I love the SF style, but also adore the BM -but you'd get more jiggle in it I'm sure.

    • 2

Love this bra on you. It looks great!! Really, really great. I love seeing seams and lace patterns through tshirts.
These aren't meant for running, for that you need a sports bra. But I understand if you jiggle too much when walking...my mom is soft on top and she says its like having a bowl of jelly on her chest :/

    • I have worn the bra again and I have to say that besides the jiggling and some slight center spill, it fits well. The only Problem I get is that after some time of wearing I feel the straps cut into my arms a bit. The cups are just a tiny bit too tall there and the straps too separated.

    • For me the straps take a bit to soften up. A was or two and couple of wears

    • Ewa bras (like many brands) tend to have the straight side to the cup outer edge, so instead of curving around the arm from the armpit to the shoulder, it's like it trys to go through it, haha. It can get annoying, but if you can loosen the straps it helps.

    • I think the SF straps are set farther apart than the BM. It could just be it feels that way because of the extra fabric triangle. That part always hurts me and hasn’t ever softened.

    • I don't like that the BM usually gives a quite pointy shape. I prefer the SF round shape. On the other side I'm curious and I would like to try a BM one day, to find out if I might like it.

    • 1

Interesting, the BM doesn't give me a pointy shape and the 60Ks are too tall for me. It's more of a natural shape, I guess you could say.

    • I really tried to figure out the difference between BM and SF. So far BM is a weaker bra also it has less seams at the cup than SF. But both bras feature stretchy lace on top. Why would I choose a BM over a SF, what are it's benefits?

    • 1

Bms in general to me are more comfortable and give a subtly natural shape while still having good support.

    • 2

A BM has more stretch, so it's more "forgiving" - it will accommodate slight size differences better. It is also a "softer" bra, less structured. It also comes in full lace, which SFs do not. I did a photo thing a while back comparing my shape in each of the Ewa styles...I'll have to look for it for you.
I generally prefer the SF too. I cook for a living and spend my days lifting heavy boxes and twisting and turning and I REALLY love their support...but I like BMs under lightly sheer blouses and especially for evenings.

    • 2

The base of the SF is lined with a stiffened fabric for additional support while the BM is not, so the support difference goes beyond the seam structure (which I feel is more for shaping than support.)

The BM gives more of a natural (less rounded or lifted) appearance which some women prefer. It is also softer/ lighter and more airy feeling, with the straps being less of an irritant. While their placement is the same, since that outer strap wedge isn't stiffened on the BM, it doesn't bite the armpit as much as the SF does.

The wires on the BM usually are more U shaped, while the SF tends to house the lazy J wires the slope outward. While I have gotten them both ways, this appears to be the standard for each style.

The BM tends to have a higher gore than the SF as well, which affects the fit and comfort for some.

The other difference between the BM and the SF is the sizing. The BM is slightly more roomy in the cups than the SF, making it a better choice for those who are between sizes with the SF, where one cup is just barely too small while the next cup up is too big. The same smaller cup in the BM would fit perfectly for the person, making it the ideal choice. This sizing conundrum would hold true in reverse as well, making the SF be a better fit for those inbetween in the BM style.

While subtle, the differences are quite extensive!

    • 2

The BMs are also a taller cup, so it actually might work out better for you since you need taller cups.

    • Thanks everyone!!! It is very helpful! I want to try a BM now. I don't mind a natural shape if it does not get too pointy or upside 7. I love U-shaped wires they fell more supportive and I also would not mind a taller gore.

MamaPagan Ewa recommends to size down in BM compared to padded bras. I don't own any EM padded bras. I have this SF bra in 70K which is a good fit but I have almost some overspill (it could be a bit taller ) and the 75K that is too tall and there is some gaping at the straps. I also find the 70 band better. BM Wenecja is my fave but there is only 70JJ or 75JJ left (I try to take advantage of todays 20% off sale) means a 75JJ could possibly fit more like a 75K when a 70JJ more like a 70K? I mean compared to SF fit. I also saw that BM Antonina is available in my usual size 70K and that bra is very well loved here, it has lots of reviews. I'm not sure if I like the white lace on beige that much...

AGBras is the whole bra made of a stretchy lace or only the top part? I get that the bras are usually lined with a thin beige colored fabric under the lace.

    • 1

I would go with your SF size, which in this range will fit similarly but be slightly more spacious in the cucuin the BM (think no more than a quarter of a cup larger than the SF in the same size.) I personally wouldn't recommend sister sizing, as Ewa's sister sizing does not equal the same cup volume. (My 70JJ SF was smaller in the cup than my 65K SF, which was smaller in the cup than my 60KKs. Same held true with the other styles I tried in a 70 band first. 😬)

The full lace BMs are not stretchy on the lower half since that portion is lined with a thinner no-stretch material.

    • 1

*cucuin should have been cup in. Darn glitchy auto fill phone.....

    • 4

Omg yes I remember our conversation in another adventure: no sister sizing in Ewa... it is not reliable!
I got carried away with the sale. Options in my size were limited and pretty bras in sister sizes were tempting, but I resisted and only ordered BM Antonina in my usual EM size of 70K and nothing else!

    • 2

Wise choice! I love Antonina. I'm wearing it today in fact. 😄 I hope you enjoy it as well.

    • Yeah I'm very excited to get a BM bra finally! Antonina looked the best ouf of the options available in my size. Also I liked how everyone said that it does not show much under tops despite the lace looking quite bulky on the pictures.

    • The Antonina lace is thin and smooth, and very beautiful. A soft white with cream/tan within it. Very nice.

    • Here is a close up of the lace/fabric:

      http://bra.pe/IjJE/

    • I love Antonina too. But mine is too small...think I will order it in an S in my size and sell my 65FF BM. 🤔

    • 1

The S version was beautiful as well. It has a white base instead of tan if I recall correctly.....While it wasn't a mass release, it was made in a few select sizes.

    • 1

    • I can't wait for my BM. I hope it will be more comfortable than the SF. Honestly, there are days when I love my SF glad and days where it hurts me so bad… :(

A few days ago it was the only bra that I had left to wear, but my PMS boobs where almost bursting out of the bra and it was a bit much with the movement. I had to wear a nude ahh bra and a loose fitting top over it to feel comfortable. (Note to myself… don't wear the SF with my "balloon boobs" as I call them)…

today I wear the bra again and the wires hurt me so bad and the straps cut into my arms and shoulders. The whole bra feels less supportive today. I don't know if it's because my boobs are too tall for the bra and I don't get proper support???

    • The straps on the SF are a killer to me. That stiff triangle piece + extra wide set straps just rub my tail of spence raw. The only thing you can do is hope that washing it a few more times will soften it. Did you wear something with the same shape wires 2+ days in a row? That's all I can think of on the wires.

    • Sovavosi you mean another bra with similar wires?

    • Yesterday I wore the 32JJ - Bravissimo » Lulu Bra (LN581) it felt okay.

    • 1

I have the same issues for every style bra: there are good days and bad days for all of them. I think it's just part of life unfortunately. Hormone fluctuations are not bra friendly for sure.

When wearing wires that sit in the same place a few days in a row can cause wire sensitivity. That's why it's a good idea to have a style rotation to allow the pressure points to heal between wears.

For me, it is always worse if I am having an extra "slouchy" day, where I am basically forcing those wires into my rib cage. 😖

    • 3

BM Antonina arrived and it is awesome! And... the size fits! I think I even like it more than the SF. Okay I need to wear it for a few full days yet before I say something like that but so far it looks and feels great. Thanks to everyone who talked me into it / recommended it to me <3

    • 1

I wore the bra a few times over the last few weeks without any problems. No wire pain… Maybe it just depends on what I do and how I feel in general on that day. Also I have now more bras to rotate and that might make a difference. So each bra "hurts" in another place and it doesn't add up so much at the same spot like if I wear only the same 2-3 bras all the time.

    • 1

More in rotation does make a difference for sure. Glad it is painfree!

    • 1

      OH MY GOODNESS!

Until now, I did not notice that scary underneath photo à la dbmamaz !! ;)

But this bra tacks properly, right? Good.

    • 2

haha dfe98we , thats my legacy!

    • 2

I think with big boobs these underneath pics are the best way to show if the wire lies flat and if these is wrinkling in the bottom of the cup.

dbmamaz thanks for starting this trend :D

    • alisa it is a good trend fot that reason, even though a bit scary! 😆

Such a soft and lovely bra! Inside of cup is lined with a warm eggshell type beige. The bra is such an unusual color and the embroidery is so lovely! The ribbon detail is very pretty on this one, in the delicate pink.

The 70 band on this bra is perfect. I am thinking I should go back to 70 bands in Ewa, since I've had a lot more too-big 75s than I have too-small 70s, at this point. The cups, tho, verge on being too small. I have 2 Ss in 75JJ (sister size to this), and my Panterra fits on smaller days but the Magique fits on bigger days. I was honestly hoping for another 'bigger days' bra, as I seem to keep gaining no matter what - and some reveiwers said that this bra ran tall on them, making it effectively larger - but not this one, for me. Looks like another smaller-days S.

Again, only tried it on once, about a week ago, and will probably update after more wearing

This is one band size up from the S Opium I just tried and one cup volume up. I still had to remove the pads. Unfortunately this bra is comfortable on the tightest hooks alreadyhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> this material seems to be much more stretchy than the material in the opium band.

The straps popped off 4x while I was just trying to adjust myself into this contraption. I flipped the straps from right side to left side so I would be hooking them in backwards and they have not popped off again. Yet.

This shape is stupefying. I seriously want to to take ... myself out to dinner. I hope I invite myself in afterwards, too.

I do not sense any quadboob. The gore is not tacking very firmly compared to what I've grown accustomed too from panache and Cleo. But my other EM bras do not tack that firmly, either. Is this some sort of common knowledge?

I love the matte fabric of this bra. And I have waited my whole life for cushioned straps like these. I'm so serious. I can't wait to show them to my husband. He has told me that I need something like this for a very long time.

I really do not want to part with this bra. At all. But it's on the tightest hook already. Guess it's time to email Aisha and ask for a 65KK. Lord D:

I have this bra and the straps popped off at some pretty inconvenient times! But it makes my boobs look great too. I wore it last night and couldn't stop looking down.

    • 1

LadyInBlue I definitely know exactly what you mean lol. And thank you, Love4Pollinators!

    • 4

and again, no measurements? sigh. if you actually measure the band, you can see if its an unusually stretchy one or if this is really too big a band size for you

    • 2

Take yourself out to dinner! That was so cute and yet so relatable when the girls are looking mighty fine. Beautiful bra on you! ❤️

    • 1

PS: the soft tacking gore I have read is due to thinner wires on polish brands. I tend to overlook it but maybe ask when you email if that is okay in your size.

    • 1

Just FYI, the padded straps may be too short to do a racerback. I need them almost all the way out to wear regularly, and since the padded part doesn't stretch I think they're a bit shorter than a normal strap.

    • 1

Please give a quick measure before you send it back if you do , this is my size range and very little measurements are in bratabase as you know .

It does look amazing on . I am kinda in love with my own figure in my Ewa michalak bras too ..

    • 2

dbmamaz & Ivp I am considering measuring. I have never measured a bra before >:/ seems like a gigantic pain in the ass lol. But I do know it will benefit you guys. I'm fairly certain that this band is just very stretchy due to the material. The opium 65 band is NOTHING like this band.

    • 4

It's not so hard! Once you get into the measurements section where you add the bra, there's guiding photos to show you how to do it for each measurement. You can do it :)

    • 4

dbmamaz @roxanneloves bras OK I measured the bra and posted the measurements

    • yes, thanks! but 31 is pretty reasonable for a 70 band.

    • 2

Well when I got the S Opium in a 65 band, I assumed that I needed a 70 band in the S type of bras. Guess i… should have measured the Opium >:/

    • 1

Stinkmouse Yeah, I think that the Opium fabric is a little stretchier than most. I have it in the CHP cut, but my 70 band stretches to about 33 inches (and most of my other 72 bands are like 32 or a little under)

    • kermitdafrog21 did you mean most of your other 70 bands?

    • kermitdafrog21 the 65JJ S Opium I ordered was so tight I have no idea how I even clasped it closed. It was much tighter than my 3 other 65 bands. So… this is interesting!

    • 1

My S opium in 70J was insanely tight, even with an extender. It measured 31.5", but the fabric was really uncomfortable for some reason. Even with an extender it felt really tight.

    • 1

Thanks for the measurements :) I was most interested in the depth , the band looks great too .. I know now to pick a 70 band in this model and maybe a kk in the cup wonder how tall kk cups are ?

    • 1

      Oh... Well never mind then!

    • Ewa Michalak bands are just very inconsistent. I've been ordering 75 bands because I got 2 70s from her which only stretched to 30 of 30.5 inches - unwearable without an extender.

My 75s usually need to be done on the 2nd hook right away and 3rd hook on 2nd wearing after a wash, but the SF in a 75 band was tight - but not tight enough to need an extender.

So you kinda have to pick a band and just accept that sometimes you might need an extender or it might be on the 3rd hook right away. She does say (sometimes) on the website if its a tight band - the SF does say its tight. But even with that, the bands are inconsistent.

First bra that has ever supported my breasts without collapsing under the weight of them and still be a regular bra not a "support " bra with a shelf built in the lower cup ..so yeah .

It's a peachy color for some reason I thought it looked off white in pictures but that must have been wishful thinking I have beige bra issues lol I have to say ewa does neutral very well offering several shades that are appealing not just that yucky bandaid color most come in .

It really firm band with little give with a layer of powerknit(techsheen) over a layer of power net ... . So this is definitely firm .
The cups are a stable tricot laminated to sheer stable cup lining it looks like creating a very firm and non stretch cup . There is no mechanical give at all so no droop or sag as the day goes on. Though the fabric feels thick it's not hot to wear in this summer weather. The upper cup is power mesh folded over . The straps are a shiny satin look with very little stretch. Small buttons on the gore and on each strap . .

Fit .. I find that the cup measured a bit smaller than I expected so I get a bit of quadding . The band fits as I expected but had I wear an extender to get more room in the cup . I will buy this bra again ..but probably one cup up , maybe two . With no give in the band or cups you need to be spot on .
All in all a great bra one you can put on and wear all day , makes me think about trying the fb line .

This bra is an engineering miracle. I have it in beige and I am waiting for a black one. I hope she makes it in more colors and patterns some day.

    • 2

      LOL I saw that!

I wore mine yesterday - it was the third or fourth time, after 2 or 3 washings, and I think it had stretched out slightly, because it did fit better. I also think I'd go up a size if I ordered another. But I cant imagine ordering another unless she got some fun colors or patterns

    • 2

LadyInBlue it is some sort of engineering miracle .

I hope she makes some pretty colors too .

    • wow, I see exactly my shape. from side view cup doesn't look small, on the contrary, it looks like it is too tall and you can not fill it. in those cases I sew the center gore in to turn the wires the way there is less empty space right by the wires, but gives more room at the center to avoid gaping.

    Didn't fit

Disclaimer: This bra is the wrong size for me. I knew that when purchasing it, BUT I was curious as to what it would look like to have a bra with a depth closer to my breast perimeter (this one is about 12.6 inches). However, it fits pretty well when I put in a second set of pad (that's how the pictures were taken) so I'm actually debating keeping it. It also makes me wonder if I would do better in a 70JJ than a 70J.

This bra is so much prettier than it is in the pictures. It is black with a black floral lace overlay, which has ... some gold embroidery. The lace is not wrap around, and stops about an inch after the edge of the cup (just eyeballing that measurement). The gore has a black bow with with a little pendant on it.

I'm not really sure how much validity any of my fit comments will be, because it is not quite the right size. I'll still give my thoughts though. Firstly, this bra is super comfortable. The fabric is probably the softest out of all of my bras. The straps also don't seem to be nearly as much of a problem as they are in my S Granatowa Pantera.

The PL cut definitely gives a much more rounded shape overall than the S cut. While the S cut kind has a lot of vertical roundness (you look round top to bottom), the PL cut also has horizontal roundness (you look rounded from side to side as well). There is definitely noticeably less lift in the PL cut than the S cut. I think that the PL cut would probably work better on people who have more upper fullness than I do. That being said, this bra is so much more comfortable than any of the S cut bras I've tried. So while I don't like the shape quite as much, the comfort level is awesome. I do wish the cups were a teeny bit shorter on the outside, though. My roots are a little short.

Another thing that I'll note is the 4 part construction of the cup, which is different than the 3 part construction of all of my other EM cups. I was expecting this, as they change to a 4 part cup either at a JJ cup or sister sizes of a 70JJ (I forget which it was). Since the bras I have in 3 part cups are all a different cut than this bra (as well as different sizes) I can't really draw too many comparisons between the two.

I do think that I prefer the S cut as of right now, but I would be curious to try a PL cut in a 70JJ before writing it off completely. It also works great as a comfort bra, so I may have to add a few to my collection for that purpose

    • Yeah, 4-part cups give a much more rounded shape. The S bra has 4-part cups at this size as well, so you can't really compare the shape of a 3-part 70J S bra with a 4-part 70K PL. PLs are also made of 3-parts at 70J and have a completely different shape than your 70K. It's like they're all completely different bras! It's kind of nice for those of us right on the spot where it changes (70J-70JJ) because we can *almost* wear all of them, so it gives more variety. :)

    • I love this bra. The 70GG (my usual UK cup size) was too small, but the 70H fits like a wonderful boob glove. :)

Bra band is a tad big. Everytime I take a deep breath and then exhale, I can feel the band ride up a little. This is actually pretty annoying. I think since the band is bigger, the bra straps sit further out. This means the straps are sitting right at the tips of my shoulder blades, and they rub my shoulder blades quite a bit. Then if I try to move the straps further in on my shoulders, the height of the armpit curve is miserable, so that curve rubs into me instead.

The plus side is that there's ample room in the cups. I think this would work better in a 65KK for me.

It’s gorgeous. Sorry it didn’t fit. Is this the one she never released from Instagram?

    • 1

Hey thanks. I guess it was released to the wonderful Tina at Aphrodite's Closet. Not sure when, but I think it was a while ago. :)

    • 1

At least it made it out to the wild!

    • Right? :P

    • It is gorgeous! Have you tried wearing it on a tighter hook set? This would put the straps closer together in the back and resolve the riding up issue.

    • 1

I have. It does help a bit.

    • 1

With alisa and cupandahalf we've recently been talking about their respective issues with a loose/unfilled upper cup leading to a need to adjust the straps very tight, which can pull up excessively on the back of the band and cause it to ride up, especially when there is a heavier bust also exerting quite a lot of downward pull in front. I can't say for sure if this is a too-large cup size per se or just an overly tall style of cup but it does look like this could possibly be a factor. One way to tell would be to loosen straps a lot and see what cup fit looks like then (though not for extended wear, since obviously this would make them fall off due to the problem of them being too far apart).

    • Would you be interested in selling this? I'm quadding out of my 70JJ Sf and would like to know if a 70K is the way to go.

    • 1

wendybien Perhaps that's an issue for me as well. I'll have to check on it.

@stinkmouse Unfortunately no as it's one of two bras that I can wear somewhat comfortably. Sorry.

    • I understand. Lemme know if it ever becomes available: )

    • 1

      Stinkmouse Absolutely.

    • 1

Beautiful colour! I wonder how the other size you mentioned might be. Will you be trying it?

    • 2

Not in this model, but I have ordered a few 65KK's in 3 SF shapes. Ideally, I'd love to order this is the 65KK, so perhaps in the future; :p

    • 1

DerangedDragons19 A little is better than not at all at least, right? And comfortable is a wonderful thing! 💕

    • 1

I hope the 65KKs work out well for you!

    • 2

MamaPagan Absolutely. I wore it on the second tightest hooks today and that seemed to help with the riding up significantly. I also adjusted the straps a smidge, so that's helping alleviate some of the strap pressure too. :)

      @sovavosi Thanks! Me too! :D

    • 2

That's great DerangedDragons19. Every win however big or small is still a win. 😍💋

    • 1

Wow such a pretty bra! I love that hot pink color! If that bra had been on the website I would have bought it! I guess it is discontinued?

I think that the cups are on the bigger side and a bit too tall for you? I mean on one picture there is slighty gaping where the cup meets the strap. If a cup is slightly big, the band also feels bigger even more with straps tightened to get rid of extra cup fabric.

    • 3

alisa nobody fills out the top of an SF, not even Gosia.

      https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_pl_Bra-SF-Nibynic-1133_14.jpg

The bra is extremely tall at the upper end of the range.

    • 1

      MamaPagan Too true! :)

@alisa it is not actually discontinued. I do not think Ewa ever put it on her website. I found this bra at a US retailer :) I think Ewa might still release it!
I know it may look a little big, but I promise it fits like a dream ;)

@sovavosi is correct. The SF is hard to fill out in the upper cup ranges since the cup is SUPPPERRR tall. It doesn't help that I have pretty short roots haha.

    • 2

Sovavosi Yeah that's why I should not comment on Ewa Michalak bra reviews. I don't know much about her bras in general, I still wait for my first SF bra to arrive, I never had luck with the brand in the past so I avoided them.

DerangedDragons19 take my comment as a EM noob comment. I mostly have experience with Panache and Bravissimo. I cannot delete it, so... *hides*

    • 1

alisa we were all noobs once, it's okay! Honestly with Gosia's super squishy boobs it's hard to get a gauge on how tall her roots actually are.

    • 1

alisa hahaha, don't feel bad! We're just explaining the fit differences so you can understand better :) no shaming here!

      @sovavosi Trueeee! Oh Gosia :(

    • 1

DerangedDragons19 Yes I know now that the bra is supposed to fit like that. I'm happy for you!
I hope she releases this bra, I would buy it. My favorite color!

    • alisa Plus, really, the depth measurement was DEEP. I was kinda surprised. I know sister-sizing is theoretically supposed to be accurate, but all of @mamapagan's 60L's don't measure close to the depth of this one. I think her closest is 15"? This measures 15.5", hence it's actually deeper than the 60L that worked in terms of depth for me a month or so ago.

    • 2

Thanks everyone :) I'm so happy we have such a lovely and supportive community here and we can learn from each other :) :) :)

    • 1

alisa Oh I hope she releases it soon! I know everyone is hoping to get their hands on it :)
And also ❤️❤️❤️ no point in ridiculing someone for not understanding something. Why not explain it better? :)

    • DerangedDragons19 I honestly like the photos where they aren't purposefully giving her quadboob. I think it looks better.

      https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_pl_Bra-BM-La-Gloria-1173_1.jpg

    • DerangedDragons19 I always read here that you cannot sister size in EM bras like in UK bras because she does not grade her bras like that? Did I understand correctly that it's in all her bras or only in some sizes?

    • Sovavosi No doubt! I love her in la gloria; she looks so nice. :)

    • 1

alisa this is actually pretty accurate. Ewa Michalak doesn't sister size well.
That's why I said theoretically :p theoretically the cup depth on the 60L and 70K should have been the same, but here we are 😂

    • To confirm DerangedDragons19, yep, of the 60L SFs I have the range is 14-15" max depth. I have 4 more on the way so we'll see how they fare in comparison.
Also keep in mind the wire tension on a 60 band on the same person would be more when compared to a 70 band even sister sized, which would make the cups smaller in the 60L even if it measures the same.

I got another new bra. I chose a 70K because the 70 band is ideal but I've been sizing up lately to get more cup volume without having to go custom. However, I had read a few reviews suggesting that this particular bra might have tall cups so I decided to size down a cup volume since I have short roots. Unfortunately, this was a bad decision on my part because the bra is too small for me. I don't find the cups on this bra to run particularly tall at all, and they're also not very open on top, so I have some noticeable quadding. So I'd say that this bra runs TTS, and has average cup height, and the cups are somewhat closed on top.

    • dbmamaz I think I'm also just in denial about how much growth I've had. I think a 70KK/75K is about what I want in her unpadded bras, and probably a 70L/75KK in her padded ones now :/

    • I only have one SM tho, and its open on top. I can still fit it and its a 70J, even tho all my other unpadded ones from her are 75J or JJ

I'm probably going to sell my 75JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Magique (834) because the band is too big, but its the biggest cups I have too - which maybe makes the band seem even worse? Idk, it just annoys me. But its the biggest cups I have and i'm terrified i'll grow too - my ass seems bigger recently . . . and my belly . . just waiting to outgrow another cup size

I'm so sad that this bra does not fit me anymore. It is just so pretty! The band fits true to size and bit tighter than the mesh bands. When I received the bra 6 months ago, I thought it would fit. The cups came up very high on me which I found weird for an Ewa Michalak bra, but I liked it. I find that tall cups support my boobs better. I have worn the bra a few times but I was never really happy. I often felt like it lacked support over the day and that the straps cut into my shoulders. I noticed that the ... straps on EM bras are shorter than on my Bravissimo bras. (I never had a problem with too short straps, I'm not that tall, but apparently I need longer straps on EM bra)
The cups don't look like they are too big. The upper part of the cup lies flat, it does not wrinkle or gap. There is still lots of room left, my boobs don't fill up the cups. I also get a projected pointy shape instead of a round shape. In the mean time I lost some breast fullness, maybe like 1/2 cup size and the bra is not clearly too big. I even get wrinkles on top now. I think I need to size down to 70JJ or 70J.

Edit : 30/08/20 - now fits me again since I went up in cup size. Still have issues with support and feel a lot of weight on the shoulder straps.

I bought this bra used, because I've been told that PL in my size range is not that much lower than the S, so I've been really wanting to try it. For whatever reason, my pictures came out awful. I'll post one or two and try to take more later. My breasts were touching before I did my reverse-swoop-and-scoop, so I suspect they will generally touch when I'm wearing it - which is not something I particularly want, but it is good to have a couple of bras to wear under low-cut tops. The wires seem shorter on the outside as well as the inside, which is not particularly a plus for me.

Overall, i'm pleased with the fit, and the gold patterned lace overlay is quite nice looking, if not my usual style. Having just reviewed a BM, I cant help but notice that the lace on this PL seems to be sewed down to the bra body a lot more thoroughly than the BM was.

    What I love about it:

    - It's very very pretty <3
    - It's a sheer lace bra in a 70K, nuff said.
    - Straps are fully adjustable
    - The color, it's more of a very light peachy apricot nude than white/cream
    - it's comfortable
    - The wires are very narrow (If only they were not borderline too narrow for me)
    - No wire poking under the arms
    - No underband that rolls in and digs into (fat rolls) extra padding under my bust
    - 4 rows of hooks
    - Tight band, true to size for a 70/32 band. (note that I wear a 30 band in Panache Tango)

I don't really hate anything about it, so I just ... point out my personal issues:
So far I didn't get a proper fit in any of Ewas padded plunges. I could never get a gore to tack and my boobs tended to fall out in the middle. When I read that the SM has a higher center gore and is specially made for bigger / softer boobs, I had to give it a try. And it's unpadded which it a plus, since I never had a padded bra that fitted properly.
70K was my best chance out of the drop down menue on Ewas site (I wont point out here why I'm not eager to do custom orders)
I need a high center gore & high wires on the side, plus slightly wide wires.
That's what makes a bra the most supportive for me. (*cough* Panache Ariza)
When I opened my parcel, I first thought they had sent me the wrong size. It looked so small. It has the narrowst wires I've seen on a bra in that size range so far.
So if you need very narrow wires, look no further and go, buy it!
The wires are also very low on the side, too low for me, so my side breast tissue can escape.
The cups are very roomy on top, even I with my very full-on-top boobs get no quadraboob. ( That might be because I can't scoop all side tissue inside the cups at all)
The lace is not stretchy like on a Panache Jasmine or Andorra.
I'm not impressed with the band. It's quite narrow. I prefer a wider more back-fat- minimizing bands.
My issues aside I would call it quite supportive (Note: the whole bra is made out of sheer lace. No double linings!)

I'll update this, when have worn the bra for some time.

    • I hope I didn't get your hopes up about the lace being AS stretchy as Jasmine or Andorra! :/ I tried to be clear that it wasn't stretchy like those, but it did in fact have a little bit of "give" to it (meaning it wasn't a stiff lace.) With all that being said, I'm glad you were able to not have quad boob! :) Glad the band works out for you, too.

Your boobs look fantastic in it, btw! :)

I actually liked the plunge style. Maybe it's an indicator that I'm getting closer to my actual bra size? I had both inserts in the cups and I'd still say it was 2 cups+ too big, but WOW was that shape NICE https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />. Band felt okay, but it's hard to gauge when the cups are radically too big too.

    • 1

      Pictures are up; :)

    • It's not bad. Based on photos I wouldn't say it was too big in the cup. Maybe one cup down for more oomph but I fear it most likely would result in quadding instead..... 😬

    • 1

I do have the inserts in :) it could be a shape mismatch too. Sizing down might help haha. Not sure.

    • 1

Yeah i dont see 2 cups worth of empty space there?

    • It takes pictures a little differently. It feels different than it looks via pictures too. I can tell with the inserts that there is still some space. I can take pictures without them in and add them too? :) Maybe it's not as much space as I'm thinking?

    • dbmamaz added pictures without inserts :)

    • 1

Yeah, I'd say no more than one cup max without cookies.

    • 1

Okay! So maybe a 32JJ for a plunge then?
      Possibly 32J?

    • Oof. I meant to add 32J for extra cleavage*

    • 32JJ yes, I would fear the 32J would quad but you could always try it I guess. 😬

I actually really, really liked this one. The extra fabric they added as an overlay to the tops of the cups ended up being really nice. So, to the height of the cup, this extra lace overlay added four inches of extra cup height, which is nice. The cup itself ended up being too big for me by at least 2 cups. I'd really recommend this one to FOT folks or active movers who are constantly scooping/swooping their tissue back into their bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • How is the tack? How far off the sternum does it sit? With the depth you input, I wonder if it's just a shape mismatch. As if the base is too small with the top too open so your breasts push the apex (and gore) way off which results in upper gaping. Possible?

    • 1

MamaPagan I think it tacked just fine :o I'll have to put it on again to confirm. Be right back :P

    • MamaPagan Ha, well I actually took pictures! I'll upload them as soon as I have the time! The gore does tack:) I rarely have troubles with the gore tacking honestly.

This bra is definitely the comfiest one I own (likely because I've grown again so it's the closest one I have to fitting).

The band is a little stretchier than most 32 bands, stretching to about 32.5 inches. I love the padded straps. Straps have never bugged be before, but I guess I didn't realize what I was missing out on. They are bordering on unwearably wide, though. I also had to swap the straps from the way they came so that the openings face inward in the front. They kept falling off the other way, but I haven't had an issue since switching the two straps.

The cups fit a little smaller than I expected, but again it's possible that I've just grown more than I realized.

    • The depth is the same as my sf in 70k which I thought fit smaller than I thought it would .

    Didn't fit

My first try with Ewa and I loved the basic shape and style, but now know this style (particularly in this size!) is definitely not for me. Additionally, there were quality issues that will make me cautious about ordering in the future.

There were some notable flaws with this bra that would have prevented me from keeping it even if it were a perfect fit. The wires were bent in different shapes. The left side wire-to-wire cup width was 7.5" while the right side was 6.5. The gore didn't lay flat and the wires jutted into my breast in a "defective" way, so ... I can't say if the wires would have been comfortable had they not been shaped so oddly.
I got this bra on ebay from a woman who had gotten it directly from Ewa Michalak but almost a year ago. She was gracious in accepting the return (I wouldn't have wanted to try to sell or exchange it here and pass on the problems, the wires could not be bent back easily and the gore issue wouldn't have been resolved even if they could have been). The seller's listing described the cups in the this bra as "small for the brand and fitting more like a 70J or 70JJ" which is why I ordered it - I'm not a 70K in recommendations but have been recommended S cuts by bratabase in 70J and 70JJ. Looking at how gigantic the fit here was, even WITH the cookies in, I find it hard to believe a 70JJ or even 70J would fit any better! I hope people who have experience with EM can let me know if the measurements I got before I returned it are actually smaller than normal for the brand. I'd also be interested to hear about the band - the bra had 3 hooks and 4 (rather than standard 3) columns and I immediately put this on the last (smallest) hooks, and it still wasn't tight. The stretched band length was 33" easily (not "hard stretching") and if that kind of stretch is consistent in this brand I'd probably go for a 60 rather than a 65. It couldn't have been caused by being streatched with wear, the bra had tags attached and had never been worn. The major problem with the fit was the top of the cups - too wide and too tall - I measured straight up from the top of my breast to the edge of the cup (height measured 8.5" at center of wire) and I had 2 inches of height that was empty space. When I measured along the inner perimeter from where my boob stopped to the edge of the cup, I had 4-5" of extra depth! There was definitely room on the outsides of the cup too, so narrower wires probably would have made the cups fill up better. I think for my next EM attempt I'll try 65HH in a CHP... or maybe 65J?

I wasn't wild about the bland color and decoration in person, and the design was a bit bulkier than I prefer, but an appropriate size wouldn't have been as overwhelming gigantic and the sturdy support and flattering shape I got a hint of will outweigh the size and quality problems and I'll definitely be trying again. I'm certain now that I need at least a 30/65 band, since every 32 band I've tried has been loose even on the smallest hooks, so that's one bra fitting issue solved at least! (Although I'd like to try comexim but their sizing system in bands and cups seems completely nonsensical! Advice?) The advice I'm giving myself is to buy from places I can easily return to until I get my sizes and cuts figured out better!

This bra's measurements have been altered
Came with cups in two different shapes, averaged for measurements since bratabase won't allow a blank. L was 7.5 and R was 6.5, wires overlapped at gore.

    • As a rule, I've found that *most* Ewas run true to size or a smidge tighter. I've never ever had an issue with the wires: I wonder if that's something the seller did for some reason trying to make it fit better. Otherwise it's odd she wouldn't say something about it.

    • That band length is oddly excessive, not typical for a 70/32 in most brands. EM, while a bit inconsistent, usually runs smaller instead of larger than average (which this is). Funny... this is the second bra in as many days that I've commented on that was weirdly large in the band! Maybe it's the wrong phase of the moon for bra bands.

    • Depth looks like 70jj to me. If it was used 33" is pretty reasonable, new the band's are usually 31-32" in my experience. I had an S have different cup widths by .5", so I guess the same person made this bra lol

This is my first EM. I bought in on bratabase using solely the provided measurements to determine the fit (the measurements were very close to those of my 32HH - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) ).
Well, I have to say that my first attempt at EM was a flop. The bra feels bulky, has a strange lift to it - pushes the breasts up, but not the bottom of them, if that makes any sense; there's gaping space on the top of the cups by the straps (especially on the left side); not much side-support, so my soft breasts extend to the sides past ... my torso.
The bra gives my breasts (looking from the top) a square shape; with little-to-none space between the breasts, they form something like a sloped tray lol.
Overall, I think the cups are too wide, hence the odd shape.
Going down is cup size is not an option, as my right breast is already about to spill over in the middle.
This may be just the wrong EM model - any advice on what would fit better?
My breasts are very inner-full, high-set, narrow, and soft.
    Thank you!

PL Bella is a few years old as far as that particular model. I tried it long ago and also found it wasn't the greatest fit for me (and it fit small.) The PL shape in general does have wider wires (but moreso that they are half-circle shape instead of U shape.) The S style may work better for you then. It has more narrow, U-shaped wires and the shape is definitely uplifted from the bottom and the boobs are front and center.

If you are wearing 32HH, I would normally recommend 70J in Ewa Michalak for you (which is what I wear.....but I like a smaller/more compressed fit, so you may find 70JJ fits better.) I've found in padded styles I need a slightly different cup depth than what I need in unpadded styles as well.

I have tons of EM bras on my profile in that size range, and I try to take a lot of pictures (just be aware my weight/size has fluctuated over time, haha.) Feel free to look to see the difference in how the styles fit. It sounds like we are very similar in our fitting needs. My favorites are S and CHP for everyday wear, and PL for date night when I want to show some cleavage. :)

Also, I meant to add that the newer padded styles come with removable pad inserts to correct asymmetry. They are very helpful because if you do have some gaping in one size and you don't in the other, you can just put one of the pads in (or add them both for added "oompf", or take them both out if you need more room, etc.)

I also forgot to mention that I think the fit of EM bras has improved greatly since when PL Bella was made.

    • Thank you so much, BumbleBean ! This is most helpful. I will make sure to browse your pictures for good fits :).

I also noticed an EM 70K listed for sale which seemed about the same size as my 70J by measurements, so I do wonder if they changed the models some

    Fits

This is my second unpadded Ewa Michalak bra and I really love it. I was not so sure about it when I saw the pictures online but I like having some unpadded bras and so I thought I'd give it a try (plus I hadn't tried a BM yet).

The color is a very dark navy and the inside is black which gives it a nice effect. The lace upper panel is VERY stretchy and comfortable. This bra also has three little bows with little dangling gem attachments which are very cute (one on the gore and one on each strap). I didn't find them to be ... noticeable under my t-shirt but it is not very tight so it might vary.

This is my first time with the 70K size. I had previously ordered several EM bras in 75K and 75JJ which both fit quite well. I had also gotten a 70KK second hand which was just a tad too big in the cups so I opted for the 70K which fits really well. Obviously it fits tighter than the 75 band but it is so comfortable. I have been losing weight so dropping down to a 70 band has not been an issue (I also tend to wear 32JJ in most UK brands anyway). The band is firm but even after wearing it for a full day of classes it still felt quite comfortable. Compared to some bras, I barely even noticed I was wearing this.

The wires sit comfortably and are pretty much the average width I've come to find with the brand and the gore lies flat on my sternum. The gore itself doesn't seem as tall as some other bras (such as my unpadded Panache bras) and that works pretty well for me, though it is a little taller than the SM for reference. Straps are comfortable and as usual are a little difficult to adjust as they are designed to not slip. As with my other unpadded EM bra I had to tighten the straps a good deal to get a good fit, but I think it might just be the length of my torso and not an issue with the bra itself.

My phone's front camera kind of washes out the pictures, but it is very lovely in person. I even felt that the images on the Ewa Michalak website do not do it justice. I am really happy I made the gamble of getting a BM as well as switching down to a 70K from a 75JJ which just seems to fit a little bit better for me.
