Another lovely S cut bra from Ewa Michalak. The bra in this size has a cup made of 4 parts, with partially adjustable straps, and fastens with 3 rows of 4 columns of hooks. The straps are half made of the lightly padded foam which makes up the bra cup, and the rest is a regular strap (similar to that used on the SM Bezyk).

The colour is described as cocoa beige on the site, and I think it would be nude on someone with a cool skin tone. It's a bit of a mismatch on my warm fair skin, but it's not especially noticeable under a shirt. What ... does show up is the lace decoration on the top of the cup. It's only been sewn on one side, and so it can flip up during wear. It also is a much lighter colour than the rest of the bra. I may just take the lace off if it bothers me too much. It does add an extra touch to the bra which is quite nice, but it isn't very practical for a bra which I bought to wear under light coloured clothing. I like the overall appearance, but I'd choose something a bit plainer for a nude bra personally.

The bra cups are just a bit too tall under my arms to be comfortable, and while the straps are very comfortable to wear with the light padding, they're just a bit too long to take up the slack of the too tall cups. They're also rather wide set, which is pretty common amongst all EM bras I've tried. The band is too long, but I ordered off the dropdown with the intention of taking in the bra. I normally wear a 28 band in UK brands, and if I could readily get them, I'd most likely opt for a 60 band in EM, as I like (and require) a firm band to hold my breasts in place. The cups are both too shallow and too tall, but probably the best balance between the two, owing to my large disparity (I've worked out that in EM I need the height of a 60K and the depth of a 60M or comparable volumes, so this is in the middle).

Edit: I ended up taking the lace off the top of the cups, which was a fairly easy 15 minutes with an unpicker and made the bra a lot more low-key under tops. With band alterations, the straps were more centred and the band was more comfortable. I'm basically always happy with the durability of EM bras and this is no exception, still able to be worn on the loosest hook (post alteration) after several months of wear. The cups are too shallow, and so the wires dig in a bit with wear, but with my sizing dilemma, I didn't mind this as an uplift/cleavage bra until my breasts grew again, firmly sizing me out of this bra even without scooping.

Wow, I must say this is another of Ewa Michalak's bras where the pictures don't do justice to quite how lovely it is. In this size range, the S cut has a 4 part cup and fastens with 3 rows of 4 columns of hooks. It comes with 'push-up' pads for asymmetry correction or an extra boost. The straps are fully adjustable multi-way straps.

I'm pretty sure I could just fill this whole review with how pretty this bra is. It's a pearly white colour with a lace overlay on the cups. There's a satin bow at the gore with a 'pearl' drop. Ewa Michalak consistently seems to design ... bras which really appeal to me. I think this would be beautiful bridal lingerie, which could be wonderful for those of us at the larger end of the cup scale who are limited in options.

I ordered the 70 band to avoid getting the 20 PLN custom charge and so the fact that the band is a bit longer than I'd prefer is no suprise (my ideal UK band size would be 26/28). This band has a slightly shorter stretched length than other EM bras which I've tried in a 70, but it's still stretchy and not firm on me. I have the usual problem where I end up with gapping at the top of the band because of the way that it's cut, it's just a body shape incompatibility issue. I've come to terms with the fact that I will never get a good fit in any EM size, but this seems to be wearable if I shorten the band. I'd really like wires which are a bit narrower, although these aren't so wide as to cause major fit issues. The straps are sturdy and almost remind me of Freya straps (hopefully they're just as comfortable). They're also quite a bit too wide-set in the up and down configuration, but as I can wear them crossed over, that would help with that issue (though I personally find that cross-over has its own set of problems under clothing). The bra comes with straps which can be worn both crossed over and up and down. I'd think you could wear the bra as a halterneck if you had the correct strap to do so, but it wouldn't be suitable to be worn as a strapless (I tried, the cups flop forward and slide down).

Cups are pretty much impossible for me. I need the height and width in EM of a 60K or equivalent sister size, but I need the depth of a 60M or equivalent sister size. What happens in this bra is the extra projection of my breasts and the overly tall apex of the bra means that the tissue just ends up spilling into the middle and I gap at the sides (sometimes I wish I could mark 'cuts in on top' and 'wrinkles on top' at the same time because I do both). I can also get problems with breast torque, because my breasts trying to push the cups out for more depth means the underwires can roll under a bit and stab me. With the push-up pads in, it doesn't seem to affect the maximum depth of the bra, but it does mean that I'm lifted up a bit more which reduces gaping at the top. The gore floats and pushing it in, it's super obvious that I need more depth in the bra. I'm feeling like this may be the best compromise in padded styles, but it's not an ideal situation by any means.

I also got matching briefs in size 36 (marked on the site as equivalent to 8 UK), and tried out the garter belt in 34/36, but sadly that has to go to my sister. I don't get on well with garter belts anyway because of my unusual hip shape, but this one with the ribbon ties is a bit more forgiving than most. The briefs are a bit taller than I'd like, but my body shape is really unusual in that all the width of my hips is up much higher than normal and I can really only wear underpants which are quite short or I get the choice between muffin top or a baggy bottom. I think that they're a little on the firm side and I'd suggest going for the larger of your preferred sizes to avoid cutting in. 36 seems to be the best size for me though, and unlike some other fancy matching underpants I've tried, these seem to be quite comfortable and 'breathe'. Both pants and garter belt are simply gorgeous with the same detailing as the bra.

I've found that the multiway straps aren't really very suitable, because they're so wide-set and that combined with heavy breasts mean that they have a tendency to fly off at inappropriate times. I'd think possibly replacing the straps, or sewing them down at the back may help with this issue. It is also possible that people with wider shoulders than me may not have so many troubles with the straps detaching themselves inappropriately.

This is such a pretty bra! It's my first Ewa and I was really impressed by how different this is than UK bras. The cups are definitely narrower and the back part of the wire goes straight up on an angle instead of making a curved shape--which is great because this part usually digs in under my armpit, this style holds the side of my breast perfectly in place.

There is definitely more depth in this cup--13.5 inches as opposed to about 12.5 which is normal to see in this size. If you are full all around in a 30J this will definitely work for you. The band ... is stretchy, but not too stretchy, and even though it stretches all the way to 32 inches, I can still wear it on the last hook and I have a 29 inch ribcage. The top of the lace may be a little loose on top for women who are full on bottom, but I think if you have soft breast tissue or full breasts, this will be great for you.

Comfortable fabric, secure straps. The only negative for me is that the straps, which are thicker where they meet the cup, dig into my armpits a bit, but as I have been wearing in the bra the discomfort is waning.

This bra is beautiful! EM calculator put me at a 75 JJ. I sister sized down to 70 K. I also shed 11 lbs in the month it took to receive it. Lost about an inch off my bust. None underbust. I fill the bottom of the cups but the top of the bra gapes quite a bit. If I pinch the top there is almost 2 inches in loose fabric. I do have soft tissue so that is also a factor.

Strap are a little wide set and come cups seem a bit high up under my ... arms. Not as much as the 65KK. Could be I am not used to this kind strap design.
Underwires are the most comfy ever! I have worn a soft bra for the past 3 or 4 years due to wide wires that hurt too much to bear.

The band was snug not overly so. Expected it to be tighter. With the way it stretched measuring band it could be that it will stretch out more than I would want as it ages.

Gore tacked. A first for me. No pain from Gore at all.

I did feel supported even though it was large. Felt relief in my shoulder and upper back right away. Can't wait to find an EM that fits!

I apologize in advance, but this will be simple, quick review....

I bought this from another Bratabaser knowing that it might be a tad bit too big for me, but I wanted to try it anyway since it would save me a tiny bit of money on shipping from Poland. So, when I tried it on and saw the cups were a little too open at the top, I was not surprised. I have 70JJ - Ewa Michalak » Sm Trefl and it fits beautifully, so it's no shock that this one is a little too big.

The main difference I noticed between this bra and ... the Sm Trefl is the gore. On this bra, it seems as if the gore is closer together at the bottom than my Trefl, therefore causing me to have a slight bit of empty space in the lower/center part of the cups (and a weird wrinking.) This also makes the wires appear a bit too narrow since they cover too much in the center and not enough on the sides. My breasts are very close together towards the top, but I guess they are more average spaced towards the bottom. Or, maybe the lower/center area is too shallow....I'm not really sure. There's just something going on that doesn't fit great in that lower/center area.

Also, the top edge of the fabric doesn't lay flat and seems to float about, but this may just be due to the cups being slightly too big for me.

This is my 2nd S-bra, and I will say the backs are tighter than PL's - therefor, 34's for me from now on!

I went down a cup in this one compared to the 70KK I got for the last one. I haven't decided yet if that was wise - I will wait for another point in my cycle to decide for sure - I *may* be a bit larger now than usually. It's fine of course for my small boob, but my big boob is definitely having isssues - bit quadro, bit spilling out at the sides, and the gore is as always not flat, hm..

Note that I have done some alterationgs here - I've "boned" the cups (with Q-tips!) at the bottom of one of the vertical seams - hence the slight bumb you can see.
The small black flips are also something I added to add an extra strap.

    • Oh, how did you bone the cups? Will you write about that as well?

Also; what is those electrodes on your boobs? Are you ill? ;/

    • I made a very poor project of the boning, I commented about it here http://www.bratabase.com/profile/4he/adventures/884/#adventure-comment-7192 if I manage to make it better, I will do a blogpost :)

No, not ill at all! I frequently participate in data-collection for research at the university and hospitals - so I am in fact in above average health, that's why they like to use me for projects :) I have to wear this for a total of 4 weeks, so I couldn't wait with taking pictures :b

    • Puh! That's good to hear :) It does look scary XD

Will read up on the link about the boning :-)

I bought the new S Fresh. It will probably not work but I couldn't resist it :-)

You should see how alisa made boned pads with plastic icecream sticks/spoons! :))
Love this color on you btw :)

    • Vee - Oh, that sounds great! Can you send me a direct link? Bratabase is working horrible for me, so I can't browse in the adventures etc :( (I can't even write comments properly, I have to copy them from a document and corss my fingers that it'll work!)
And thanks! It's a bit more purple-ly than I thought (in the lace and bow) but I quite like it too :)

    • Try another browser? I have problems with explorer but mozilla works, some have reported the other way arround. Jj ? ;)
alisa hasn't made the adventure but she could email you the pics, I'm sure :)

    • I've tried all the browers I have (Explore, Crome and Firefox) with no result :( I've contacted Jj and he is aware that there are issues, he will try to fix mine next week.

I will get in touch with Alisa then!

    S Zielony Pieprzyk in 70K

This bra is added for data purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database, but since I did measure it, I decided to add it anyway.

The S Zielony Pieprzyk is a padded balconette style bra in a Deep Hunter Green with black lace. The cups are lightly foam lined plus they had removable pads that are labeled by EM for the correction of asymmetry. The pockets for the pads in this bra are sewn completely into the bottom of the cup, unlike the CHP style which is only sewn on the curve of the ... wire and not across the depth of the cup. The color of this bra is spectacular, and the pictures do not do it justice at all.

The band measures 25.5” to a max of 35” with 3 hooks and 4 rows of eyes.

The cup depth measures 12.5” (as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance) and stretches to 14” over the knee without the cookies. The cup construction consists of 4 sections -3 vertical parts to the bottom with 1 horizontal part on the top and a pocket for the removable pads at this size.

How did you end up ordering 2 sizes up? I think 70K is the size I just grew out of :-(

    • dbmamaz Good question! I’m *still* getting clear on my Ewa size. I have (way too many) PL and S styles and I quadboob at 70J/70JJ after an hour or so. Turn out my tissue is pudding soft and centerfull so those just aren’t the best styles for me.

I’m going to get it right eventually, grr!

    • Have you tried the reverse-swoop-scoop to help w the quadding? I feel like if I pull my tissue all the way in to the outside of the cup, it stays off the gore and center edge for 3 hours or so . . .

    • dbmamaz Yep, I do the reverse ss a few time a day :/

    • sorry. i've probably asked you before too lol

    • dbmamaz No sorry at all. This is actually my very first review discussion so I appreciate the tip and the interaction. Just wish I could find the right fit for my boobies.

And then to add to confusion, I tried on my 32HH S Szykus this am and it's fitting!

    • We can help more if you say more about how things dont fit. also really curious about your latest bra - model unknown? Maybe post a picture and someone might recognize it?

    • dbmamaz Sorry - didn’t know pics weren’t showing up. Should be fixed. It’s on Ewa’s website too: https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/product-eng-1209-Bra-S-Wzor-4.html. Would love if someone recognizes it 😊

    • Oh, yeah, thats gorgeous but I dont recognize the fabric. I'm assuming its a one-off. I ordered one from her last sale but its an S version of another model, kokosomething . . . when did this arrive? are you in the US? I havent gotten mine yet

    • And how did it not fit? really curious. really wish I could drop 20 lb and buy it lol but I have a 70KK on its way

    • The unknown one-off is beautiful but oddly shallow for Ewa. I think I added measurements (but I'm not sure how good I am at it, though). It fits more like a Comexim plunge (which I don't like)

Re shipping, I'm in the US and ordered Sunday, 11/26 via DHL due to incompetent mail carrier/post office. It arrived Thursday, 11/30. Shipping was almost the price of one bra, but since I ordered three, I decided to go for it.

      Which ones did you get?

    • 1

dbmamaz And I'm sure you're perfectly lovely as you are!! Hope your 70KK fits :)

    • Can you see this? I went for the cheap shipping:
      https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/product-eng-1206-Bra-S-Wzor-7.html

but its basically the same as http://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/hp-rokoko-299/

but apparently she made at least 2 as an S rather than an hp.

I LOVE this pattern and was really sad it didnt come in my size. It reminds me of my 75J - Ewa Michalak » S Eden (730) which I outgrew (obviously)

    • 1

Ooh - pretty pattern! I hope it fits and arrives v soon.
Unlined ones don't work all that well for me :(

Fingers crossed that she'll have an end-of-the year sale and some new releases soon.

I love the look of this bra and I really wanted it to work since this was my first polish bra I've tried. Sadly, I got the wrong size. Everything about the bra is great, nothing wrong with the actual bra, I just didn't get the correct size. (I think I mixed up my EM size with what I would need in Comexim.) It's a beautiful deep red and black bra. If it had reduced cups, I think it might've fit. I don't fill out the top of the cups. The band was too loose for me. I had to put it on the tightest hook. I'm not sure if it's just this bra, or that I've lost weight, or both. The bra looks well made and would be very comfortable if it fit correctly.

    • Haha comexim sizes are nothing like EM sizes! You can always post here to ask for advice when you decide what to buy next. But I'm surprised about the band being too loose.

    • 1

Both Comexim and EM have their own sizing system, which are not equivalent to each other. EM is closer to UK sizing while Comexim is closer to EU sizing. If you wear 70K in Comexim, you'd need around a 70H (or 70HH) in EM. You can compare brand sizing here on Bratabase: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/comexim/vs/brand/ewa-michalak/

Some people size up in the EM padded bras, so you may find you need 1 cup up from what this chart says (so that's why I mentioned *maybe* HH instead of H). This 70K you have would likely be a good fit for someone who wears UK 32J-JJ.

Ewa Michalak does not do alterations like Comexim, so no hope of reduced cups or anything. You just need a different size.

Also, Comexim's bands tend to be much more firm than EM's, so I'm not surprised at all you found this 70 band too loose. The too-big cups probably exaggerated the band problem as well.

Lastly, that model is a few years old. Did you buy it new or used? That could affect how firm the band is as well.

    • ^^Since I can't edit, I wanted to add that the sizing up I'm referring to usually only applies to S & PL bras. Wearing your UK size seems to work well for unpadded and CHP styles. Of course, everyone is different, so results may vary. :)

    • Thanks for the help! I added pictures in the bra to help. :)

    • Hmm. thats probably my size, isnt it. i dont like the red and dont need another bra. But I have an S (I'm currently wearing it) in a 75JJ. I wear it on the 2nd set of hooks ,and its almost brand new.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now but hadn't gotten around to it. This bra is lightly padded with a beautiful lace overlay on top. It feels very sexy! The lace is very smooth to the cup and is pretty much invisible under clothes.

The cups are nice and deep with narrow wires. The bra is very comfortable and feels very supportive. The band is nice and firm. The gore lies flat on my chest and is a nice height allowing for some cleavage. Even being a plunge cut the bra keeps all of the tissue held in place. I have found the straps to be easier to adjust than some of the other bras I have from Ewa Michalak.

This is a very pretty bra that seems well made, but the sizing is a bit odd. It fits like a UK 30JJ, so my 32J breasts fill the cups well with the padding removed, but I will need an extender to wear the bra without distorting the wires too much until it stretches out a bit.

    Fits

This bra gives excellent lift and projection. Is very comfortable to wear for ling periods of time and comes with 3 different strap options (regular, comfort and halter). It also has asymmetry correction pads. I love this bra and is a perfect basic for my bra collection.

This is a very pretty bra that seems well made. The cups seem to run quite small, as this fits my 32J breasts well. There is a lot of immediate projection, and the wires seem to be a good width for me.

The gore is lower than on my balconette bras (especially the ridiculous one on the Tango II), and I get some nice cakes-on-a-plate cleavage. I could use a little narrower gore, as there is almost no room between my breasts, but it is generally quite comfortable.

The straps are not as wide-set as my Cleo bras, which tend to cut into my tail of spence/armpit, but they are still a bit wide on my shoulders, causing the cups to gape slightly in that area.

This bra is not owned any more

    Didn't fit

This is one of the most comfortable bras that I own. Currently I'm wearing this one with an extender until it stretches out a little but everything else is absolutely perfect.
