Didn't fit

This is my first EM. I bought in on bratabase using solely the provided measurements to determine the fit (the measurements were very close to those of my 32HH - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) ).
Well, I have to say that my first attempt at EM was a flop. The bra feels bulky, has a strange lift to it - pushes the breasts up, but not the bottom of them, if that makes any sense; there's gaping space on the top of the cups by the straps (especially on the left side); not much side-support, so my soft breasts extend to the sides past my torso.
The bra gives my breasts (looking from the top) a square shape; with little-to-none space between the breasts, they form something like a sloped tray lol.
Overall, I think the cups are too wide, hence the odd shape.
Going down is cup size is not an option, as my right breast is already about to spill over in the middle.
This may be just the wrong EM model - any advice on what would fit better?
My breasts are very inner-full, high-set, narrow, and soft.
Thank you!

PL Bella is a few years old as far as that particular model. I tried it long ago and also found it wasn't the greatest fit for me (and it fit small.) The PL shape in general does have wider wires (but moreso that they are half-circle shape instead of U shape.) The S style may work better for you then. It has more narrow, U-shaped wires and the shape is definitely uplifted from the bottom and the boobs are front and center.

If you are wearing 32HH, I would normally recommend 70J in Ewa Michalak for you (which is what I wear.....but I like a smaller/more compressed fit, so you may find 70JJ fits better.) I've found in padded styles I need a slightly different cup depth than what I need in unpadded styles as well.

I have tons of EM bras on my profile in that size range, and I try to take a lot of pictures (just be aware my weight/size has fluctuated over time, haha.) Feel free to look to see the difference in how the styles fit. It sounds like we are very similar in our fitting needs. My favorites are S and CHP for everyday wear, and PL for date night when I want to show some cleavage. :)

Also, I meant to add that the newer padded styles come with removable pad inserts to correct asymmetry. They are very helpful because if you do have some gaping in one size and you don't in the other, you can just put one of the pads in (or add them both for added "oompf", or take them both out if you need more room, etc.)

I also forgot to mention that I think the fit of EM bras has improved greatly since when PL Bella was made.

  • Thank you so much, BumbleBean ! This is most helpful. I will make sure to browse your pictures for good fits :).

I also noticed an EM 70K listed for sale which seemed about the same size as my 70J by measurements, so I do wonder if they changed the models some

My first EM - was skeptical about the cup fit (70K is way bigger than my usual 32HH), but it turned out the cups fit great. The band is definitely lose, seems to be quite stretchy. Not thrilled with the skinny straps - they seem very flimsy. Overall, very comfortable.

Band fit:
The back of the bra is not at the same level as the front (rides up)

She hasn't added any bras that fit her correctly.
