One of my favorite colors in my favorite bra. The green is so stunning in real life. Yeah, it's basically an all green La Gloria, but I shrunk out of mine, and I couldn't pass this one up. My left and larger side has a little quadding, but overall I think it's a great fit.
I'm so sad that this bra does not fit me anymore. It is just so pretty! The band fits true to size and bit tighter than the mesh bands. When I received the bra 6 months ago, I thought it would fit. The cups came up very high on me which I found weird for an Ewa Michalak bra, but I liked it. I find that tall cups support my boobs better. I have worn the bra a few times but I was never really happy. I often felt like it lacked support over the day and that the straps cut into my shoulders. I noticed that the ...straps on EM bras are shorter than on my Bravissimo bras. (I never had a problem with too short straps, I'm not that tall, but apparently I need longer straps on EM bra) The cups don't look like they are too big. The upper part of the cup lies flat, it does not wrinkle or gap. There is still lots of room left, my boobs don't fill up the cups. I also get a projected pointy shape instead of a round shape. In the mean time I lost some breast fullness, maybe like 1/2 cup size and the bra is not clearly too big. I even get wrinkles on top now. I think I need to size down to 70JJ or 70J. This is the second bra that I tried on when I was at Forever Yours in Langley, BC where I was visiting friends who live there. It’s one of the newer ones and I already knew that I would love the colour.
Oh, that colour! It’s a rich teal with black lining and a lighter bow at the center gore, and thankfully none on the straps. I’m a little ambivalent about the giant bows, but it’s partly why I ruled this one out from my shirt listed 4 bras. In retrospect, it’s not too bad. It’s still a wishlisted item.
It’s a full lace band, so even a ...70 felt snug, but doable. The rest fit pretty well, as my 70F Wersal does. It fit better than the Apricot of the same size.
Not a whole lot else to say - it’s a pretty standard BM. It’s pretty true to size (Ewa size). The lace was denser than the Cabernet and closer to the Wersal, but obviously newer and not so relaxed.
I did try a thong in small to match. Over my underwear, I think it’s the right size, and gave me the impression that I would be comfortable in it because it was mesh. Read more 98 more words
This bra looks much better in real life than it does on the internet. In reality, it is not just a swath of teal fabric. It has more definition. This is because of the cup's unusual structure. It has a thin inner cup that provides the core of the cup's structure, and then the teal lace is overlaid. It looks cool and will likely photograph badly. But that cup structure that looks so nice when the bra fits properly contributes to in-cup quadding if you are slightly too large for the cup, which I am.
The projection of this bra and its narrowness are perfect. The lace at the top ...is stretch lace that does not cut into the breast at all, with a rare upper finish that is lacking in tension. (Probably a godsend for the full-on-top or those with even shapes.) And the cup structure is very accomodating for all types of breast fullness strucures, since all the fabrics have a gentle stretch. It allows the bra to look really good on, and attempt to suit a lot of people. But it can also disguise any fit issues.
The disguise is quickly unearthed by my posture over the course of the day, though. 😔 The bra is not that supportive, possibly because of the give of all of the fabrics. So it doesn't work properly for me at the size I am now. When the bra fit perfectly, about 1-2cup sizes back, I had no issues with its support. Read more 139 more words
