I thought this would fit like my Deco Delight also in a 30FF. Unfortunately, the band was too firm for me and didn't even stretch to 30in. The cup was shape issue. It was too tall for my short roots.
This bra was incredibly tight when I first received it, so I only wore it in the evenings for the first couple weeks (easy for me because my job requires a sports bar all day) and it stretched to a good fit. The gore pokes my sternum a bit and sometimes I think the straps are too wide, but absolutely love the bra despite those things (maybe that's just because it's my first bra that fits). Also, my husband loves it too https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Have to be careful what shirts I wear because the stitchwork and my nipples can be seen through real thin and tight material.
I wanted to try the Deco Charm since finding out that some Decos work for me. I hoped that the lace trim might make this bra similar to the Deco styles that have some binding which makes them more closed on top.
Such a gorgeous bra! I have owned it in two different sizes. It gives rally nice shape and cleavage. The moulded cups are very firm and do not show shape/fit issues.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS BRA. I wish this worked for my shape, but it's just too closed at the top. It gives me a very unnatural torpedo shape because of the way my tissue pushes back against the cups.
I would love to try the half cup version of this bra to see if it worked better. Even with the fit trouble the bra still offers lovely support and is pretty comfortable.
Bought this bra few years ago at Nordstrom rack in 32FF on clearance. Loved it but was always too big...at that point I didn't even know that bands came small than 32. Always hated "bra fat" if band was too small- didn't know about scoop and swoop and proper sizing. So ordered a few sizes online. The 30G fit almost perfect (need GG but not available).
I own two of these bras (Freya Tropics in 30FF) and one in a 30F. Like most unlined freya, this bra has fantastic depth/projection (immediate projection and apex projection). Very comfy. As I said in the other 30FF review, this bra is a little too big and a little too tall, and thus creates an elf-shoe shape on me. See the 30F review for a solid fit and bra quality review.
This bra took a little getting used to at first, but I really like it. It's pretty and supportive. I wasn't used to the three-panel design, so at first I thought it made my girls shaped a little funny, but I got used to it, and I really like the black laciness. I have narrow shoulders, I guess, so the straps are almost too far apart and dig into my armpits occasionally, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I can't wear other balconette styles though, for that exact reason. I will echo what others have said about the band being pretty stretchy. I can wear it on the medium hook to tightest hook comfortably, and it's still pretty new.
I always thought that the shape of this bra was perfect, but the fit was a bit off. Now that I look at it, aside from the fact that it's obviously too small, I'm realizing half cups are not a great style for me, support-wise.
I have not worn this in a long time, since it would never stay up, and the straps were always a bit too wide-set to be comfortable, but I notice that the material on the back has stretched out badly, which does not compare favorably to my Masquerade Maia, a bra I wore all the time, and which has held up quite well.
This Freya feels like it would be perfect if I'd ordered it in a larger cup size. In the 30FF, the cups hurt. They're much too small. But this cut gives great uplift, and I can't wait to try it in my proper cup size! Also, with my close-set, splayed I think this will give me fantastic shape. The side support really feels well-structured.
The quality is great. This bra does not fit the same as a Deco. The cups are stiffer, and accomodate minimal center fullness. I feel like a 30G (my regular size) in this model would still cause quad boob at the gore.
What can I say? You were one of my first well-fitting bras. When we first met, I had my doubts. I thought your ink coloring with polka dots and pink lace were a little clownish, and I was afraid of show-through. I was afraid your fabric would be itchy.
But I was wrong. You were beautiful and I loved you. You were comfortable, uplifting, and gave just enough top cleavage to be classy. As my boobs have grown and shrunk and grown and shrunk over the past year, you've been there for me, even if it's just during PMS week.
But now, as I've grown my bra collection, ...I've come to realize that you and I are not soul mates. Your wires are a little too wide, and sometimes that bothers me. I can no longer deny that your band is a little too stretchy, and not as supportive as some of the other bras in my drawer. Your cups are a little tall and a little shallow, and that means I have to tighten up the straps a little too much to get the right lift and support to avoid the gape/quad effect and get a smooth line across the top.
I'm going to have to let you go. But I will always remember how good you were to me. Maybe I'll find you in a tighter band and a different cup to see if we can resolve our issues and be together forever. But until then, I'll stick with your unlined sisters for narrower wires and more projection.
This was the first bra I found that was *almost* a great fit. Even though the cups are a bit shallower than I need, the half cup style paired with wider wires gave my tissue a little more space. The longline helps the wires stay in my IMF a bit more than other bras have. The bra was very comfortable for the first few hours of wearing, but towards the end of the day I noticed the straps might be a little too wide set for me and unfortunately the gore is definitely too wide/high.
Too tall for me. Fits my boobs during pms week, but thats it. Creates a bit of a pointy shape because the cup is too big, but not the worst I've seen. The 30F fits much better, for more details, see that review.
Bra fits OK as long as it's worn as a racerback, there's gapping at the sides that will show through clothes if not. Center gore doesn't quite tack but that's hard to find as my boobs are very close set. Uplift seems slightly unnatural to me, the bottom of the cups are very shallow so it acts like a push- up.
Doesn't quite fit, a little too loose (but I did get it pre-loved), a little too wide, a little too shallow. I would have kept it if the band didn't flip up every time I sat down. I don't have a problem with that in my tighter longlines, so it must be the loosened band. Fits my best friend beautifully though so I'm passing it on!
