What can I say? You were one of my first well-fitting bras. When we first met, I had my doubts. I thought your ink coloring with polka dots and pink lace were a little clownish, and I was afraid of show-through. I was afraid your fabric would be itchy.

But I was wrong. You were beautiful and I loved you. You were comfortable, uplifting, and gave just enough top cleavage to be classy. As my boobs have grown and shrunk and grown and shrunk over the past year, you've been there for me, even if it's just during PMS week.

But now, as I've grown my bra collection, I've come to realize that you and I are not soul mates. Your wires are a little too wide, and sometimes that bothers me. I can no longer deny that your band is a little too stretchy, and not as supportive as some of the other bras in my drawer. Your cups are a little tall and a little shallow, and that means I have to tighten up the straps a little too much to get the right lift and support to avoid the gape/quad effect and get a smooth line across the top.

I'm going to have to let you go. But I will always remember how good you were to me. Maybe I'll find you in a tighter band and a different cup to see if we can resolve our issues and be together forever. But until then, I'll stick with your unlined sisters for narrower wires and more projection.
