I love this bra. LOVE. I will say, though, that the band is super stretchy and I would go down to a 28 if it were available. I tend not to wear this as an everyday bra because I don't want to stretch it out, and also the extra fabric that makes it a longline (forgive me, I don't know what to call it) does flip up a little bit if I bend over. It's sheer physics. But. Good lord. This is one of my very favorite bras. I may buy several of them to make sure I will always have one in the right size no matter what time of the month I'm in.
This bra is gorgeous, I've been wanting it since it popped up in the "coming soon" section of the Freya website! I really like the taiga biome and its dark green plants (my favorite color!) and red and white winter berries, so this was perfect for me. I also love longlines, and plan to wear this under a lacy black shirt!
That said, I was a tiny bit disappointed with the shape. It's a very neutral shape, not too natural, and not too round. I like a round shape, so I was kind of hoping for something with a little more "oomph."
However, the band runs pretty large, and I ...feel that if it came in a 28 band, I could perhaps get a better shape from it. Right now it sort of feels like the wires are floating a bit, rather than holding my boobs in. I think I'm going to try and get it altered down to a 28 band, because I think it'll improve the shape drastically. I'll update this when/if it happens!
A quick note about the "longline" aspect of it: I wish the bottom of the band didn't roll up so much! It feels like I'm rolling it back down every five minutes. I feel like some boning would help with this, although I worry that it would make the bra too expensive. Read more 117 more words

I have been eyeing this bra since it's release at the Moda show. Someone had a picture of it in their blog and I had to have it! My favorite color is orange, and even more so when it's combined with teal/turquoise. It's not a true orange though, I wish it were, more like a bright coral with a hint of orange. Still...I love it! =)
Pros: -Freya added an extra column of hooks, so there are now 3 positions to close this on! -Cups give a fantastic rounded ...shape without looking too in your face, fake, or padded looking. -The padding is really more of a lining, it compresses very thin so it does not add anything at all to size, if you're worried about that. I still have show-through but it's not that bad. -Straps have a nice feel to them, textured without all the stitching which means they're more gentle against the skin but won't readjust or slide around on you. -Longline style helps it stay in place better, so less riding around. -Fabric is super comfortable! (Same with the matching bikini style bottoms, which BTW are shaped a lot better so there's actually rear coverage!!) -Lace on cups is not itchy.
Cons: -Because they added an extra column of hooks, this means the bra is now longer. It would have been logical to place them in towards the side, rather than out to the center back. Because of this, the band is longer than my ribcage around without even stretching it! =(
That's really my only issue, everthing else is perfect. I will be taking this in a some point. The smallest hook to eye measurement without stretching is 25.25" so I can wear this on the smallest eyes and have it with 0.75" of negative ease (ribcage is 26" measured loose). It's not enough but it will do for now. Read more 218 more words
The fit of this bra on me might best be described as "what is this i can't even."
At the moment I'm writing this, my measurements point to somewhere in the neighborhood of 34FF (Bratabase), 32H (Brasizecalculator.tk), or 32G UK/75G Polish (my best-fitting bras).
Then you look at the actual numbers. The cup width and depth on this bra are closest to my 70FF Ewa half-cups and considerably narrower and deeper than any "larger" Comexim I've ever tried on. I don't know if this was a defective bra or this model ran narrow and deep, but I am deeply, deeply grateful, because I've been in love with this fabric FOREVER ...and I'm so thrilled to have finally gotten my hands on one that FITS.
I mean, yeah, the gore's too wide and I spill out when I lean forward for too long. Which, hi, welcome to my boobs. If it weren't a longline, I'd have narrowed it already. Because of my A-shaped ribcage, I have to fold up the front of the band, which makes me think I'm better off living with the spillage.
Otherwise...ignore the "doesn't fit" rating. Favorite bra of the moment. Read more 84 more words
In the beginnings of my bra journey this bra fit wonderfully. After getting some tissue back where it belonged I have quadboob in this bra. I've also gained some weight so the longline band tends to roll. I really do love this pattern and I'm sad to see it go.
This was the first bra I found that was *almost* a great fit. Even though the cups are a bit shallower than I need, the half cup style paired with wider wires gave my tissue a little more space. The longline helps the wires stay in my IMF a bit more than other bras have. The bra was very comfortable for the first few hours of wearing, but towards the end of the day I noticed the straps might be a little too wide set for me and unfortunately the gore is definitely too wide/high.
I have ogled this bra since it was introduced and finally had a chance to try it.
Pros: colorway! The hot red lace on the cups is very interesting. Cons: doesn't feel like it fits true to size. The band is okay, but the cups are way too big, they wrinkle and boobs escape from them however they can.
My shape: teardrop set at average height, with super tall and super wide roots that give me all the shallow-boob fitting problems but with more projection, very close-set tissue in the middle, and firm tissue that fights back when squished or pushed out of shape
I love longlines, and I love this longline. It's definitely cuter in person! I am not usually much for prints, but I am glad I decided to swap for this one. Unfortunately for me, it's too large in the cups by probably 2 sizes, just like the 30FF - Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) I recently tried, although ...the difference in size didn't seem as vast for some reason. If I pull my shoulders back, like I am in one of the photos, you can see how it still gaps along my smaller breast. Because the cups are too large and stand away, they also create a very angular open neckline across my bust (which would be hidden by clothes but would still bug me), and it isn't flattering.
It's not helped by the fact that the straps are in my armpits and almost falling off my shoulders, but both the regular Patsy and the 30G - Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) did the same thing. Note: the straps rarely actually fell off my shoulders, but they sit right on the point and I don't like it.
I could probably stand to size down in the band if they made it, because it was comfy-to-loose on the second row of hooks, although it could still work because the larger band distributes tension and support better across the larger fabric expanse. Sizing down might not help with the straps issue, though, but I have learned with my other Freyas that I should be wearing almost exclusively 28s in this brand.
The wires under my arm are still a teensy bit narrow for me, which surprised me given how many people have trouble with them being too wide, and how many people have noted they are so much wider than the Freya plunges. However, as with all the Freyas I have ever tried (and quite a lot of other bras as well but to a lesser extent), they are also a steeper curve than my roots require, although they are pretty close. There was a little slight scratchy feeling while I was taking photos, but I'm sure that would come out with a wash or two.
The gore lays flat and it doesn't dig, which is nice for such a comparatively high and wide bridge. I think the bottom of the cups were actually filled ok, which is much better than my 30FF - Freya » Deco Charm Moulded Plunge Bra (1471) , and I understand that all the half cups are much better about projection than their plunge counterparts, so that's promising!
