This bra did take a month till I finally got it! And, what can I say.. look at this cleavage!! I love it! It's a bit too shallow at the bottom and at the centre (on my smaller side acually), but I love it! This bra isn't as much covering as the original deco is and for those girls here that whant cleavage and couldn't get it with the original deco, try the spotlight! I mean.. look at it! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
Freya Deco models like the Spotlight and Vibe fit me better than the old version Decos without the trim along the cup edge. I find old Decos are very FOT friendly and my even fullness is just not enough to take advantage of all the vertical space in those cups. The Deco Spotlight is perfect in terms of vertical height and volume. If you have even breasts, you might find this to be a better fit than the regular Decos with no trim along the outer edge of the cup. Alternately, if you are FOT, you may find that the Spotlight cuts in creating quadroboob whereas regular Decos do not. The straps are as wide as other Decos of the same size, but are more ribbon-like both in thickness and appearance. The band is pretty much the same as other 30G Decos I own. The wires on this 30G fit like a dream.
I don’t remember when I bought this bra, but I’d wager at least a couple of years ago because I am on the tightest hook now, and when I first bought it, I was not swooping and scooping, otherwise I’d have seen the slight quadding that I get from this bra. That said, it’s not a lot of quadding, and not noticeable underneath clothes. I’m not sure if going up the cup size would be too big in the cup. I’m not sure if it’s a result of a cup size problem or a cup shape problem.
Theoretically, this should not work with my shape, which is ...narrow and projected, pendulous, with soft tissue and short-ish roots. But my bra friend with more experience and knowledge than I, said this bra fits me better expected and that it fits as well as she’s seen (I think I am rephrasing her properly here...she might chime in with her thoughts).
The band on this one seems nice and firm, and didn’t seem to stretch too quickly. The straps are a little bit wide, but I do appreciate the leotard back. The cups are heavily molded, such that, I agree with my friend who calls it “boob armour” because it really holds the girls in place. It’s a bit too much in the summer when it’s hot though. The gore is nice and low, but that’s to be expected with a plunge. It does minimally slip down from my IMF but it’s less than some. I can deal with it because of everything else. The cleavage I get with this is insane. Seriously. And the polka dots? Swooon. I heart polka dots.
I would definitely get this one again if I can find the right size. Only as I’m now finding some 32 bands too big, I’m considering this in a 30 next time, but unsure what cup to get with it...E and have the slight quadding I get in this one, or F and risk the cup gapping too much. Anyway, I do love this one. It’s not 100% perfect, but it’s pretty good. Read more 246 more words
I'm quite pleased with this bra! It's super comfy, the Polka dots make me happy and the band feels like it isn't even there.
In fact, my only problem with the bra, isn't the bras fault. (As far as I know) It fits my right side perfectly, but my left doesn't perfectly fill the cup, so the rim shows a bit under shirts which is annoying. Maybe some fillers will fix that?
I'm even to fot; (mainly my right side, so I did worry that this cup might be too closed on top but for me it was fine). I think I'm not as shallow as this was ...made for, but it feels and looks fine so I'm not bothered.
The straps are wide, which is ok, but when I'm sitting curled up reading, the loopy edge on them rubs a bit. I'll probably get used to it. Part of me wonders if I got a size down, would the left fit better but would the right quadboob? If only I could try different sizes in a store!
For now this'll be my t-shirt bra, till I find one that really doesn't show under! Read more 88 more words
I love the structure of this bra. The fabric is soft and the center gore lies flat against my chest. The cups are firm yet comfortable and give me great cleavage. However, I need to go up a cup size because I have a little side escape and quad boob on my left side.
I have every colorway that they make in this version of the Deco because I find the fit to be superior than any of the other Decos (and I have almost every other version of the Deco that Freya makes). I love the closed-in top. The cup seems to be sturdier and hugs me better than the other versions. The lift is the same. I have even fullness, narrow roots and soft tissue. At times, with all Decos, even this one, I tend to fall toward the center and need to readjust periodically during the day.
The ivory version would be perfect, but alas the black spots and black trim show through thin and/or light-colored fabric. Obviously the red and purple versions can only be worn with darker tops. As such, I am still looking for the "perfect" t-shirt bra.
The cups on this bra feel a bit shorter than my other Freya Decos, but not by much. It's comparable to the cups on the Deco Crystal. The straps on this bra are thinner than other Decos. It's got a satin-like texture which may result in some slippage in the adjuster, though I've yet to experience it myself. Otherwise, they feel as good as any other Deco strap.
