  1. I've been waiting forever for this bra!
I found it at Nordstrom rack a few months ago for $30-40, and have been slowly acquiring money, when I found it on Amazon for $20.
This is the BEST fitting bra, next to my new Vibe. Even my Freya longline doesn't fit this spot on. And the shape it gives is perfect.
I was liking more of the unlined, upslope shape before I lost some shape/boob due to hormone changes, so the Decos have been my go-to's through this.
Otherwise, the Freya Rio fit very well, but was highly uncomfortable and scarred me.

I'd recommend this bra to someone with narrow and maybe average ... roots, average projection, and ..idk shape, I'm about even and this fits fine. Sometimes have trouble with closed tops, other times the tops are too large for me, but I have an uncommon shape.
The design of this bra is gorgeous. It was love at first sight https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> I love the detailing on the cups and straps, and the vibrant color.
This is also good for boobs that need up front and centered cups, which I need after I'm lifted. The gore isn't too wide at all, and the cups don't taper to the sides up top, or have gapping, like the Deco Honey.
I honestly can't wait to buy more of these and the Vibes. They're perfect, and, having been so depressed due to shape/volume loss and still fitting into the Charm and Vibe, finding these bras makes me sooo happy again.

I also apologize for my lack of photo editing/cropping and..spottyness.As I said, major hormonal changes. And I'm in a rush but wanted to post pictures of this because it's perfect https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" />
I'll add measurements for this and the Vibe later.

Never apologize for photo quality, Queequeq0925. We all appreciate timely, detailed, illustrated reviews. I was wondering how you were doing with bras after the startling news that Freya Rio scarred you!

    • 1

learningaboutbras I'm happy ti hear that, and thank you ^_^

I'm doing well with bras. A few days after wearing the Rio was a bit painful, but it lessened up and I don't have any lasting issues.
I just wore looser bands for a week so the cups wouldn't be up against where I'd been cut.

Funny thing is, the band of the Rio is way too stretchy, but also somehow too tight, so there was minimal support on the tightest hook. I think betweem tightness/lack and I guess super sturdy wires and material, it just doesn't seem to be a good thing to place on your skin!

The scarring has lessened though, and I haven't had any problems like that with any other bras :)

    Hasn't set fit

When I got this bra, I had just been sized by an actual fitter. It was the first bra I bought on my own in my new, non-Victoria's Secret Size. So, I was naive, and my problems with the bra are more my fault than with the quality of the bra. This bra doesn't work for my shape. I'm full in the center and bottom with narrow roots. It gives me a weird shape, there's gapping on the top, and spill-over in the middle. The straps are a good thickness and it does feel secure without feeling caged in.

    Didn't fit

It's hard for me to review this. I just got it in the mail today. Measured it fresh out the packaging (ordered from Amazon, bra was folded up in a bag and mail in a bag https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" />... ).Underwire does not fill entirety of under wire channel, 1.5 cm of space between wire and outside end of under wire channel. I'm pretty sure the wires are waaay to narrow for me, picture showing where my breast root is and where bra wire is. Cups are insanely stiff and don't conform to the body at all. Would fit better with short cup, but cup ... is definitely not too tall for me. When I use J-Hook, cups are pulled to my chest and cuts the gaps in half. Cups seem to stand straight up from wire, perhaps because my breasts are pushing them out instead up letting them stand up straight and forcing my breast to form to the cup? Gore seems to dig in my sternum, although it is not too high or too low on my sternum (I've worn both higher and lower Gore's with no issues). Although I do believe it would stop being annoying after breaking the bra in. The colors are quite girly and nice, not too poppy or neon. I actually get some cleavage when I use the J-hook. Although the straps are not too wide/uncomfortable for me, I feel if they were set in closer that would help the cups stay against the body instead of leaning out. The band is very stretchy and I can see it riding up my back very quick if I were to wear it regularly. I also think Deco, in general, would do better to have some graduated padding to make the cups fit REAL breasts better.... I'm already beginning to think of ways I could alter this to make it work better for me. If the wires don't soften up, I will definitely have to bend them outward. It's almost painful the way they dig into my rib cage and my breast tissue. When I push the cups against my chest, the way they are SUPPOSED to fit, I get massive cleavage and quading. I think a bigger cup would fit me better...at least in the wires. The depth of this cup is over an inch smaller than my own. I look forward to try the Deco Half Cup.

Is this the best deco for me? Should I get a larger size?

    • Freya sizing (& fit ) can be tricky and frustrating. I wear 3 different sizes in Freya depending on the style & model. (Consistency isn't in their vocabulary apparently. :o ) Freya wires are stiff, but not as bad as Panache at least.
But on the plus side, they do make some spectacular patterns!!! :)

    • 1

Lol MamaPagan I have noticed their lack of consistency. There unlined bras seem to run an entire cup size or two larger than their padded bras....the half cups also seem to run larger than the "regular" cups....at least in the ones I've looked at. The deco's just seem to be all over the place! They also said freyas wires are wide, I haven't seen that, at least not in my size range. I am learning so much. I don't seem to mind firm wires, as long as they are not pointing into my ribs. After looking over my pictures here I think they are only digging in because my breasts are pushing the cups outward & the band is trying to pull them in so the wires are at an angle like this: \ instead of like this l .

    • 1

I think the wires get worse as the cups increase, but the wide wires are not consistent across all styles or within the same size either..... We'll just call Freya consistent at being inconsistent.

  4. This is, without a doubt, hands down, my new fav bra!!! It's absolutely gorgeous!! So so pretty, and so so comfy! I've heard the Charm runs smaller than the other Decos, but I think it fits pretty true to size. It's a PERFECT fit on me, and I'm usually right in the middle of a 28FF/28G. I have the Deco Hatty also, but in a 28G and it fits...for a little while, then starts to get uncomfy. I have to keep scooping n swooping and pushing the gore back down. I think I could take a 28FF in both Decos. So, I think if it ran smaller, the ... FF in the Charm would be too small.

Where to begin...the band is nice and snug (I'm 27") on the loosest hook and eye. But it's not unbearably tight, it does have some stretch to it. I felt very comfortable in it the entire time I wore it. No need to readjust the girls. The straps are thick, pretty and super comfy. They weren't digging into my shoulders. There is also the "J" hook on the straps of this bra for the Racerback option. And unlike some other bras with this feature, it doesn't interfere with or compromise the functionality of the straps. They are still fully adjustable. When I first opened the bra out of the packaging, I thought the cups seemed too shallow for me but I was pleasantly surprised. They fit like a glove https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> absolutely perfect! No gaping, no quad boob, no extra space in the bottom of the cup. I'm shocked at how perfect of a fit I got with this bra. Oh, and the pretty little decorative crystal drop on the center gore is so cute, adorned with ribbon bows.

I love the shape this bra gives, terrific lift and great cleavage!! And no padding! I wore it around the house for a while before taking the tags off and it's safe to say now, this one is DEF a keeper https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The Charm is now my best-fitting bra, next to my Chantelle C Chic Plunge. It's great for an everyday t-shirt bra but sexy enough as a nice "bedroom" bra as well.

Btw, I have even fullness, very round, close-set boobs. I'm not so sure how this bra would work with FOB, it may cause some gaping issues. Although, I think the Charm is a step up from the regular Deco in that this issue seems to have been addressed by the shallower top part of the cup. And I think the ribbon trim does help with gaping issues somehow as well. Overall, I highly recommend this one. It's my new fav https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • Nice review :)
I reviewed the Deco vibe for the bratabase blog and loved it too! I looove the pink colorway of the Deco charm!

    • 1

Thank you! I'm glad you mention that...I've had my eye on the Deco Vibe ;) I just couldn't find any reviews on it, or any info at all. Lol. I'll have to check out your review, that would be so helpful! Honestly, the lack of feedback on it is the only reason I haven't bought it yet. It's so pretty, and looks oh so comfy :)

    • And I LOVE the Fuschia in the Charm, but I really REALLY wanted it in the brand new Ballet Pink colorway. I just couldn't find it anywhere :( finding this one, in my size, was hard enough! And forget the Deco Honey in Topaz or Iris in a 28FF...I've been looking for weeks! I settled for the Jade only cuz I love the Honey and they're so hard to find in the 28DD+ range!

    • I believe the deco charm in ballet pink isn't going to be out until Spring, which is why you can't find it

    • Aaahhhhh, well then, that would explain that! Lol!! I thought I was going crazy, I must've missed that little vital piece of info somewhere. Thanks :)

    • SmallBandBella you can get the blush pink deco vibe ;) There are some pics of it in my review, but it's way prettier in person.

Oooh, I saw that!! LOVE it! I like the Mocha too, I'll just have to get both!!! Haha!!! I'll be reading your review ;) thank you!!!!

    30G

    Fits

I love this bra! Top marks in every category. I normally wear a 30G in Panache, and Parfait, I wear a 65G in Ewa Michalak. I typically find that 30 bands in Freya are too loose for me, but this band feels tighter than both my Cary's longline and my Deco Hatty. I have a 28-29 inch underbust for reference. I also felt that this deco is deeper and more projected than the Deco Hatty, specially in the middle, well suited to even boobs I think. This bra is a little lower in the armpits than the deco hatty, but taller than my S Bambino from Ewa. The straps are also the typical of freya placement, a little wide if you are on the petite side.

    Pros:
    -comfy
    -super pretty
-has a hook to wear under racer backs
    -narrow wires
    -decently projected
    -low gore
-supportive without feeling like your all strapped down
    -smooth under a thin shirt

    Cons:
    -straps are bit wide
-strap fabric could be bothersome if you are picky about fabrics

Vert beautyful bra, fits good in the back but is too small in the cup for me (I’m a good 80H).
I bought 4 bras on a french website and the translation UK size - French size clearly wasn’t good!)
I wore the bra just to try the size, he ´s new with tags !

This bra is very well made, but the cups are really stiff. It feels like you are wearing armor. It is not proportioned for a petite at all. The straps were falling off my shoulders.

In all this was just a too big bra for me. I think I am more of a 30c.

This bra is similar to me to other freya decos It's made of a pretty thick, rigid foam, which is not very flexible for different shapes, but does create a very smooth look underclothing. This light pink would have been a great nude for me, if it weren't for the grey lace, though that is very pretty, I ended up not wearing it much because of that. I love the straps on decos, they're made of a stronger more reinforced material than other bras so they don't stretch out over time and feel very solidly supportive.

Really cute bra and I wish it had fit me better. I loved the color selection (magenta and orange) - kind of a retro vibe. The straps have a clip for converting to a racer back but it didn't really work for me. It was way too tight when I tried it.

The band seemed a little tighter than my other Frya 38F, but was still wearable. I probably should go up one cup size as there was a little bit of quad boob going on.
