  1. Sabine Padded Half Cup (0281)

Like virtually all of the 30F Fauve Padded Half Cup Bras I've tried, the Sabine fit great, was comfortable, and created massive cakes on a plate cleavage. My boyfriend didn't like this bra, so I returned it. He pretty much never likes black bras.

The center gore on this is too high, but it is still comfortable. For some reason, all bras cover a much greater portion of my torso than they are supposed to. It's probably because my frame is very petite, except for my broad shoulders and 30F chest. My boobs are extremely close set. Any gore higher than 1.5" will rest on breast tissue. Sometimes ... this causes discomfort or bruising. The Fauve Half Cup Bras are the least problematic in this regard, though their center gores are quite high. They have this in common with every single half cup bra center gore on earth.

I think the premium price Fauve bras command really comes through in the comfort of the materials and construction. They also look gorgeous, of course. However, it's easy to make a bra look cute or pretty or seductive or whatever. It's much harder to make it function--and I include comfort in that heading--well.

  2. Evangeline Padded Half Cup (0262)

The 30F Fauve Evangeline Padded Half Cup (0262) in Black fit exactly the same as the Red and Biscuit Evangeline Padded Half Cup bras. I returned the Black bra only because my boyfriend didn't care for the color. It has the same lovely lace as the others, but in black, on a beige background.

I set the fit as comfortable in all particulars even though I've since realized I prefer center gores no higher than 1.5" because my breasts are extremely close set. In a bra, there is no space between them. However, Fauve padded half cups are comfortable despite the high gore. The half cup style always has ... a gore on the high side, at least on me. I'm quite petite, except for a 30F bust. Almost every half cup bra covers my torso much more than that style is supposed to. Half cups are meant to eke out enough coverage to hide one's nipples and aerolas. My boobs fit half cups extremely well and achieve epic cakes on a plate cleavage. I just end up very covered up.

Unfortunately I think I am actually a 34F or larger. but have been making do with this bra as I bought it during a busy time for me and wasn't able to continue the shopping/trying on process. It is a great bra, it's just the wrong cup size.

Band runs loose, but not super dramatically so. Might be able to fit a 32, but would also definitely work for a 30. I could fasten it comfortably on the tightest hook, but get away with the middle without it riding up. Cups are true to size, but with the band looser and the straps loosened, I could get it to work on my 30G self. I love the subtle detailing. This and the Fauve Aurelia Padded Half Cup Bra (0191) are my first ventures into Fauve, and I'm definitely not disappointed in the quality and attention to detail!

The lace detailing at the top, while gorgeous, cuts back in too dramatically for my shallow breasts. Because of this and the fact that this is a soft cup bra, the part where the lace is stitched to the rest of the cup wrinkles. This isn't my usual size, so I fasten it on the second hook and the band is perfectly comfortable. The straps are nice as well, soft and fairly wide, as well as fully adjustable. The wires are a little narrow for me, but when the band is fastened at the right size it's not noticeable.

It's a beautiful bra, so I couldn't stop myself from buying it even though I was pretty sure it wouldn't fit me perfectly. I'm planning on altering the seam that wrinkles, and it'll look lovely. It still won't be my best fitting bra, but I'm just enchanted with the look of it.

  6. Celine Plunge With Side Support (0112)

Good heavens, this is a beautiful bra. Elegant, detailed, expensive & looks it.
It was my first sheer bra, and my first G cup - EVER. I'd gambled on a couple different styles of Fauve 36FF's on eBay, so I knew they were gorgeous, but those were too big band/too small cup so I bumped down/up to this sister size. This G fits larger than the Panache Andorra 34GG, for reference. The band is pretty similar, although with much less dictatorial wires.
Pros: Looks (without clothes). Great fit/comfort. Adequate lift (not a va-va-voom at all, but picks the girls up). Great support.
Cons: ... Not so practical under some clothing - seams, lace, seams with lace, you get the picture. Also, I can't find the matching thongs https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
It is allegedly a plunge, but I don't find it plungey. I find it more "lightly" full coverage.

Final update: I lost weight (and the band may have stretched a little) so I'm sending it on to Synchrolover . It wore beautifully, although it lost a bead from the bow on the gore at some point. I'd love to have another in my current size.

  7. Carlotta Padded Half Cup Bra (0101)

This was my first bra in my proper size and I wore it daily for 2 years. The cup sticks out in the front, but only a little (it does stick out more on my left boob, which is smaller), but as soon as i put (even a lightweight) top on, the issue dissapears. It is very comfortable and gives my boobs the perfect round shape but it did stretch out - I can stick my hand under the strap now. Also, the detailing of the bra can be seen through tops.

  8. Aurelia Padded Half Cup Bra (0191)

The colour and detaliling is gorgeous, but despite thinking any half-cup bra with cups constructed from 3 pieces would suit my boobs perfectly (because of Fauve Carlotta Padded Half Cup Bra (0101) ) , this is not the case. My boobs look somewhat flat on the top, which is disappointing. Also, the straps are too far apart, so the cup sticks out on the side because I force the straps to sit narrower on my shoulders. The bra is very comfortable, and so far stretched only a bit.

I find this a great fit although after a whole day's wear I get a little irritation under my right arm, mostly due to the coarseness of the lace I think. Otherwise a really great bra.

Another gorgeous bra from Fauve! It stopped fitting me long ago (am now 28H/30GG), and has been sitting in my closet for a while. It gives me really horrible quadboob (I'd say a good 1/3 of my boobs pop out of the top now), which is unfortunate. It's very soft and comfortable with many delicate and pretty features on the cup. Love the little bow in the middle and the lace around the edges. The only annoying part of this is the lace is on the bottom band as well, and sometimes it gets caught and goes under the bra or moves on top of the wire. Easily fixed with some stitches in a few places if it's that annoying (I left it alone myself). In general, I am a big fan of Fauve, I just wish they made my size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

This bra is gorgeous! I bought it on sale at Intimacy a while ago, and I didn't wear it long before my band shrunk to a 28. I find now that my cup size has gone up due to tissue migration, so it doesn't fit me anymore, sadly. It gives good lift and good separation (not too much), and it's soft. The details on the cup are lovely and not scratchy like I was expecting. It feels very nice on. Another winner from Fauve!

I bought this a while ago because it's so pretty. It's a gorgeous color with lovely details. After learning about tissue migration, it no longer fits me and I've got some quadboob going on. It's too pretty to part with though, so it's going into my 'too pretty to get rid of' drawer with other ill-fitting bras. I'll use it as lingerie, but it's not good for daily wear. Like all Fauve bras I've encountered, this one is top notch quality. I would recommend it to anyone-provided you are in the right size!

I bought this at Intimacy on sale about 6 months ago. I'm a 28/30 band, so this was obviously too big. Thankfully, they were able to easily take it in to a standard 28, and now it fits perfectly. It's a lovely bra, but the straps have a crinkle detail on both sides that ends up bothering me after a while-not to mention the marks they leave on my skin. I wear it still (wore it today actually), but I think it's going to have to make its way to my 'occasional lingerie' drawer -where the things that aren't quite right but I still love them because they're pretty-end up.

This bra exudes luxury. It's all rich coloring, ruby red and deep, chocolate brown. In other words, the perfect nude for my shade of brown. It's not quite my taste, but it's so itself that I can't help but love it. It's got great little features that I didn't notice in its stock photos: this really interesting-looking spiderweb-patterned stitching on all of its edges but the armpit-facing ones, and these fake bow halves on either side of the clasp, so that when fastened on the tightest hook, there's a fake bow just waiting to be "unwrapped." Its straps are the best feature, though. They've got that spiderwebbing on ... either edge of them, so when your bra straps show you look unexpectedly classy.

It's also really, really, extreeemely comfortable and supportive. It's a great bra for dancing in, going to concerts in, or any other heavy-movement occasion.

The only issue is that you have to be somewhat cognizant of all that spiderwebbing to make sure it doesn't get all bent out of shape between your body and the bra, but it doesn't really make a big deal out of itself.

So, the cups on this are actually fairly deep, but the wire was rather too narrow for me. I removed them after measuring and plan to replace them, which is the only obstacle to this lovely bra fitting me. My measurements and review are based on the original.

I've got the Annalise bra by Fauve in 32G and the cups seem to become small so I decided to order the Dominique in 34G (it comes up to G only) and it is too big. I reordered it in smaller size because I find it absolutely stunning.

I have to say, among the five Fauve bras I own, this model has a snugger band. Sure, I can stretch it to 30", but it does take a little more effort than the other models. Unlike the other models, I can wear it on the loosest hook and don't feel the need to wear it on the tightest set. So I can definitely say the band is snugger than the usual Fauve bras, while still fitting a true 30" ribcage comfortably (mine is 27").

The top of the cup is not as open, so I do have quadboobs when I pull my shoulders back. However, I think this ... situation is easily rectified by cutting the strip placed on the lace on top of the cup. That will make it less rigid.

The wire width is a little too wide for me, but it does not affect the fit so much. The gore is wide and tall, not as tall as Panache Sienna, thus it sits on my breast tissue. But I do have close set breasts.

The straps are fully adjustable, but there's embroidery on the front half of the straps, so you will need to tug a little when you come to that part.

The shape is perky pointy, I feel supported, and it does not give me the upside down 7 shape by the end of the day like Curvy Kate unpadded bras.

The band is loose for a 30 band which is normal for Fauve. Given that when I wear 30 bands in Cleo I get more support. During the day I find that the band tends to ride up on this bra.
With Fauve I always feel the need to hook it on the smallest hook, as with Cleo I don't feel that need even though I can.

The wires of this bra are more narrow than Panache bras I've tried. But I would not call it "narrow cup". It is comfortable but I prefer it to be narrower, I feel like I get more support when it is tighter.

The cup ... shape is pointy/perky, similar to BIHAL's "green shape".

The quality is superb! I love the lace embroidery. It is definitely worth the money.

I cut all the inner lining of the cups to make it completely sheer https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> and the support has not been affected.

The straps are fully adjustable but there's embroidery on front part so you need to tug a bit.

This is another beautifully made Fauve bra. It's a 3-part cup with soft embroidered lace, and not really "padded," but heavily lined. It's a gorgeous, classic kind of pretty, but I don't know that I'd recommend wearing under a thin top. I haven't tried that yet and I suspect the embroidery would show through. The picot edgings on the lace folds around the cups a bit, but it's soft so hasn't caused problems for me. You might want to watch that if you have super-sensitive skin?

I have this bra and a Fauve Pearl (also a padded half-cup) in 34F at the same time, and this one is the ... one I'm keeping. The band is reasonably firm, but has a little more give than the Pearl, and again is 2 hooks. The wires are just about wide enough. They come to the front edge of my underarm, and while they're sitting on just a bit of breast tissue, they're still comfortable. The cups are shallowly shaped, which is perfect for me since I often have orange-in-a-glass kinds of problems. This bra wants you to have some fullness on top — more than I do — but the gapping isn't that noticeable. The gore is nicely narrow and I'm a huge fan of how it's a bit lower in the center than many half-cups and balconettes.

One other thing to note is that the straps are decorated and not fully adjustable. They're also set just about as widely as I'd ever want. Neither of these things are a problem for me in this case, but could be negatives for others.
