First off: the color. It is not pistachio. It is a rich antique gold with green undertones, pale yellow-beige embroidery and lace, and palest yellow straps and trim. Very unusual! Second, the cut: no idea why this is called a plunge. The gore is pretty tall, and so are the cups. It's a pure balcony. On to the review! The band is not stretchy like some other Fauves. The materials and construction and comfort are all high-end Fauve level, it is certainly a luxurious, lovely thing. And exceptionally comfortable, satiny-smooth and soft against the skin. The soft padded straps are embroidered up the first half. The swirly vine ... embroidery is not thick, but does show under tight knits. The top lace panel is slightly stretchy, and does not cut in. I get a lifted, centered, natural look with a slight peak - not round apples, but not pointy either. The wires and gore are narrow enough for me, and come up high enough on the sides to pull in my outer fullness but not too high to poke. It is deep enough for my immediate projection, and deep at the apex also: holds a lot of boob quite securely. Not sure this bra would work well for shallow girls, though. I own Bronte in "jade" (it's blue, not green) also, and this is one of my favorite go-to unpadded bras for comfort, fit and luxury.

That is a really posh looking bra! I think is the most elegant bra that I ever owned. The details of Bronte are so nice. I own this bra in 3 colours - silver, jade and pistchacio - just orange is missing! The colours - jade with black lace makes it so good. The band runs more loose than other colours. Its comfortable but not the most - after couple of hours wires are slightly noticeable. But it doesn't matter for me as i love appearance of this beauty!

More like balcony bra instead of plunge bra. High quality material. The embroidery isn't quite visible under clothes.

This is a very beautiful bra, almost luxurious-looking. Makes one wish to show it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Both the satiny texture and the embroidery are very beautiful and classy.

The colour is a golden light olive green which is quite unusual and makes me very very happy.

Gives a wider fit than I usually wear, more of a lifted look than a projected look. Interestingly, under thick fitted clothes like winter sweaters, this actually makes my boobs look bigger (as in "more volume").

The band is sort of firm. This is not uncomfortable but it is not a barely there bra either.

Unlike the Fauve Emmanuelle which fits me beautifully, this Fauve Bronte is clearly not projected enough for me, evidenced by the photos that show my breasts separated from the underwire by an expanse of fabric. However, like all the other Fauve's I have tried the Bronte is SO comfortable and pretty that I will be keeping it anyway. It is a darned shame Fauve is no longer in business as their workmanship and bra comfort is unlike anything else at a similar price point. Until I can afford to stock my lingerie drawer with EM's I will continue seeking out Fauve models on clearance!

Update: after a few wears I've decided this bra is just too wide for me. I am becoming more aware and less tolerant of breast tissue being forced into my underarm area by too-wide bras, the overall impression of which is a feel of smashed and insufficiently supported tissue. This beautiful, barely worn bra will receive a gentle hand wash then be listed for sale.

Also works well under white clothes. Its comfortable but not the most - after couple of hours wires are slightly noticeable. Also the quality of the materials is not the first class, as on the band where are the hooks, it has some bobbling - i haven't used it a lot, and was always hand washed. But at the end it doesn't matter for me as i love appearance of this beauty! Im thinking to buy in Olive colour as well.

I have to say, among the five Fauve bras I own, this model has a snugger band. Sure, I can stretch it to 30", but it does take a little more effort than the other models. Unlike the other models, I can wear it on the loosest hook and don't feel the need to wear it on the tightest set. So I can definitely say the band is snugger than the usual Fauve bras, while still fitting a true 30" ribcage comfortably (mine is 27").

The top of the cup is not as open, so I do have quadboobs when I pull my shoulders back. However, I think this ... situation is easily rectified by cutting the strip placed on the lace on top of the cup. That will make it less rigid.

The wire width is a little too wide for me, but it does not affect the fit so much. The gore is wide and tall, not as tall as Panache Sienna, thus it sits on my breast tissue. But I do have close set breasts.

The straps are fully adjustable, but there's embroidery on the front half of the straps, so you will need to tug a little when you come to that part.

The shape is perky pointy, I feel supported, and it does not give me the upside down 7 shape by the end of the day like Curvy Kate unpadded bras.
