    Didn't fit

My stats: 26GG/H according to the ABTF calculator, slightly FOT, firm tissue, tall and narrow roots, center full, close set and functionally high set.

    The look:
Roxana is such a sexy bra! It gives off a bit of a femme fatale vibe. The nude is a bit dark to serve as a nude on me but it's still gorgeous. The straps have a nude strip of fabric with a lace up style ribbon sewn on and a black bow. The gore has a black bow and a rhinestone charm. The band is made up of two layers of black powermesh and all hardware is black. It has a 2x4 ... closure.

    The fit:
This is the one CHP I've had where the band didn't run large. This band fits like a 28. The cups are narrow, projected and a true half cup so they'd be good for FOB and FOT alike. The gore is too high, the band is loose and the straps dig in terribly due to how wide set the straps are but otherwise it fits pretty well.

  2. Sm Margot (434)

My stats: 26GG/H according to the ABTF calculator, slightly FOT, firm tissue, tall and narrow roots, center full, close set and functionally high set.

    The look:
I'm completely biased to ewa's sheer mesh embroidered bras. This has been on my wishlist since I first found EM, unfortunately it was long discontinued by then. I somehow managed to scoop it up on braswap with the matching panties! The cups are plain black mesh embroidered with pink flowers and green leaves. The straps and hardware are black, the straps have small black bows and the center gore has a very large dusty pink bow. It's a gorgeous color.

    The fit:
The ... band fits like a 60/27 band as expected of "vintage" ewas. The cups fit me well, the straps are too wide and the center gore digs in a bit. The wires are super narrow and perfect and the immediate projection is insane on this.

    Ratings and overall inpression:
The quality is supurb as is normal with ewa, the design is gorgeous, the construction is great except for the straps, it's very supportive and the cups feel like they were molded to my boobs.

I purchased this bra from SFYS.com about 2 months ago, and it's definitely one of my favourites. I wasn't sure what stores in Canada sold Ewa Michalak, there aren't any in my city, but I was reading a review from Sherrach898 who posted about this store in Toronto, when I checked their website, they had Ewa Michalak.

After about 2 months, these are my thoughts re: this style.

    1) Band: a lot of people say to size up in the band, when I ordered this, my back measurement was 29" (so right in between the two sizes, 28 and 30) 30 band is definitely right for ... me, as I tried a 32 (I actually own one, because I took the tags off prematurely!) and after a few wears, it was definitely too loose, I was already on the tightest hook. In my size range, I need a fairly firm band to have adequate support.

That being said, now that I've gained a little bit of weight, and my back measurement is closer to 30", I guess I can see how people size up in Ewa Michalak BM, as I do get more pink marks from the gore, but YMMV.

    2) BM style in general: I know this style gets a lot of love on bratabase, but on the other forums - they mostly ask for fit checks for UK bras, I'm assuming because they're so widely available on amazon, etc. (and are a bit cheaper) but this is definitely worth the money for me - bra is most important item of clothing, imo. Do they even know about Ewa Michalak BM? It's a definite "bra win" for me. lol.

    3) Thoughts on fitting/finding your correct size: if a person is unfamiliar with Ewa Michalak, I would definitely recommend going through a boutique to get your correct size (if they carry your size!) There's a limited amount of places that carry EM in Canada, but I like both BroadLingerie.com and SFYS.com in Toronto. IIRC, the bras took about a week to get to me - slow Canada Post issues!

As far as bratabase recommendations, I think I was recommended the size 70F. I thought 70F was my correct size initially, but after trying it on for a while, I realized I needed one cup up, and one band down. As useful as bratabase recommendations are, you definitely need to try the bras on!

    4) Lastly, I would like to discuss the colour and the overall aesthetics of the bra, I love it!
As soon as I saw this one on SFSY website, I was like #myprecious. I don't look good in solid black, and yet this colour combination reads black and red, so it's very flattering to my skin tone. These pictures are done on a cloudy day, but you can see what it looks like on a sunny day, it's gorgeous! https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dng86/pictures/

The label says "maroon," I guess I would agree with that, but your eyes kind of play tricks on you (another bratabase review said this bra was dark purple...I think it's dark brown and maroon.) It took three try-ons, but I was determined to find my correct size. I'm glad I stuck with it, I'll be so sad when this bra goes!

    5) Lastly, regarding the quality, I did mark it down one star b/c I do feel like my BM Suzy fits better https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dng9l/, like a custom bra that was made for my body, lol. I'm guessing it's because different fabrics are of different stiffness, as they're both the same size. Darker colours fit differently? I don't know. I still wear this bra all the time and it's one of my favs!

I'm so grateful to learn about Polish bras, both Ewa Michalak and Comexim are winners for me! Life changing, lol. I can't believe I was in "bra ignorance" for so long; I'm definitely grateful for bratabase and all of their recommendations!

That looks great on you! Also, I love that the straps are red on this one. So cute!

    • bustyand, it definitely was all about the colours! It took me three tries to get my correct size, I tried BM Chilli in 70F https://www.bratabase.com/chest/dngbo/ then realized I needed a combination of bigger cup and smaller band for support - I do prefer firm bands though.
It works well for me, I guess not everyone likes BM style - it depends on the person. I'm not planning to try any other EM styles a.t.m, this is my unpadded style. I rotate between Ewa Michalak and Comexim bras.

    • 1

High-five and a chest-bump for the bra win! BM is my favorite cut so far. I think in part because it can be so forgiving. I also totally know the feel of kind of being between sizes. I have one BM in 65G, 65GG, 70G. I almost need a 65G1/2 lol.
I definitely notice a difference in fit depending on what fabric/color has been used. But I’m glad you found one you love.

    • 1

Thank you, Happy2BraShop ! Definite bra win for me! I'll be sad when this one goes...lol.

    • 1

I have so much love for EM BM bras. Seriously they’re the only unlined bras that work for me! I definitely agree with you that if possible they should be tried on first because different materials/models can have different fits. My next one I’ll be trying on in store (if they get better ones near me).
Congrats on this bra win! Yay

    • 1

margesimpson , they might have some of your good colours, near you! At least you have 2 stores, SFYS and Broad Lingerie...if not others.
I would be there like every other weekend.
      Lol. J/k.
But it's nice you can try them on in person...what a luxury! : )

BraOdyssey haha yes that is true. We just opened up again here so I may go there soon! Buuut they don’t have new colours that I want yet. I keep checking trust me :)

This is a nice medium toned bra, reminding me much of tan pantyhose. The cup has a medium textured sheer overlay with a nude cotton foam three part cup. Be warned if you may experience snags on the cups if you catch it with a stray nail. It very much reminds me of the fabric on the S Orzechowa Pralinka. The top of the cup has a basic flat lace edging. The inside of the cup has cookie pockets. Pockets are a light nude mesh on the inside with a light nude cotton fabric on the outside. This bra came with cookies. Pics were taken without the cookies, ... but you can ever so slightly see the pocket outline, but won’t be noticeable under clothing. I personal will be cutting this out since I definitely don’t need them. The height of the cup is just on the verge of being too short. Cup is a little short for my liking. While the cup does fit without any quadding, it feels a little small without technically being small. The back band has two layers of the breathable stretch mesh in the same color. There are 2x4 hooks on the back clasp. There are no adornments where the cup meets the straps, but it does have a nude satin bow on the center gore with a pearl pendant. The pendant has a gold top with tiny diamond gems embedded in it. This bra gives a pushed out in front, cakes on a plate, round look.

Maybe the tight-squeeze feel would disappear if you let out some more strap length? It looks like they are adjusted pretty snug here--this may be contributing to the feeling that it's too small, which I have to say also seems possible from the pic, even though it looks adorable on you. But sometimes overly tight straps can create a misleading impression since they will pull the edge of a true half cup up and in, too close to the body... loosening the straps can open that space back up and allow the boobs to settle in better.

    • wendybien I just tried the looser straps, but it just slides down a bit. It doesn’t feel tight, I just think it looks small height wise. I think I just prefer the look of the Comexim basic half cup. It’s about an inch taller in the cup. There should be a “is the cup height a problem for you” option in the fit. That’s why I mentioned it technically fits (depth and width) but I think my boobs are just too tall for it? Not really sure how to mark this as a Not Fit?

    • 1

Happy2BraShop sorry I didn't see this before! RE: how to mark it as not fitting, I imagine you haven't worn this for super long stretches of time but if you did, it seems to me that quadding would inevitably occur as it is indeed too short and boobs tend to climb out of cups that fit this way eventually. So that would be a reasonable fit issue to mark IMO. The side view also makes me question whether the very end of the wires is really completely clear of the breast tissue zone. Did you keep this bra?

    • wendybien No worries. I still have it and have worn it for several days/entire day to see about the true fit. The cup stretches slightly as the day goes on, and I don’t get any actual quadding. The wires actually fit spot on width wise. I think it’s just short over all height wise for me. I think it’s just more suitable for a person with a shorter body/nip to neck ratio. I’m definitely preferring my Comexim basic half cup over this. I’ll just look for a nude version of that instead. I’m going to see how to technically change this not to fit.

    • oooh, yes, I hadn't looked at the fit data you published alongside this but if it's up to date, in addition to the factors you pointed out, you have a vertical measurement which is nearly the same as horizontal, i.e. a "taller" boob shape wise than average (seems to happen a lot in those who have more torso height than width so to speak-- i.e longwaisted or tall but quite narrow in build/midbody shape when viewed from the front).

I'm impressed that this material can stretch to accommodate, but that can only help so much since your natural breast apex is probably a good inch or two higher than the bra design assumes. Also since you have plenty of inner fullness I think the lack of cup height combined with this open shape becomes particularly problematic on the inner half of the cup... Comexim's construction and dimensions definitely do the job better. I can't remember what is on the fit quiz anymore, or if there is anything there that would match nowadays.

They say, third times a charm. I have to say I felt like Goldie Locks and the Three Bras. Finally found my BM size! I have this bra in a 65GG http://bra.pe/X2TZ/ and a 70G http://bra.pe/X2Si/ and loves it so much I couldn’t give up till I found the perfect size. I purchased the 70G in excellent used condition to try the style and size. At the time I had a few extra pounds on me and the cup fit awesome with a band that was wearable on the tightest set of hooks but not a perfect fit since it ran slightly big in ... the band for me. So I went with a sister size of 65GG only to find the cups then were too big but the band was spot on. So here we are with the 65G and it’s a perfect fit! There is a beautiful dark teal lace over a medium nude underlay mesh. The lace shoes slightly under thin tops but not horribly. The lower portion of the nude mesh does not stretch. But the upper cup consists of both a stretch under layer and over layer. The lace is on the softer side with a full lace band, also over the medium nude under layer. The straps are silky smooth and easily adjustable, but don’t slip down once adjusted. There are small teal bows where the cup meets the strap as well as on the center gore. The center gore has a nude mesh cutout looking design that gives it some visual interest, should anyone see it. The wires are the perfect size for me. Tho there is a little bit of empty tubbing on the sides, but I don’t feel the wires move around within it. In this size there are 2x4 hooks in the back. That I have to say I wish it had 3x4 hooks like the other two sizes. It’s just my personal preference. I appreciate the stretch upper cup as it allows for some weight fluctuations during the month. Now that I found the right size I’ll be ordering more BM’s to add to my collection.

The panties are the matching Wenecja briefs in size 38. The front panel is made with the matching dark teal lace in a single layer. There is a seam that runs up the front. There are two nude single layer panels on either side with another single layer of dark teal lace on the hips. There is teal scalloped elastic along the front of the leg holes. This dark teal lace wraps around to the back forming an upside down triangle. There is a nude single layer of mesh under this that is edged with teal thread in a fine roll over hem. There is a cute dark teal bow on the upper center back. There is teal scalloped elastic along the top of the pantie, the gusset is a nude cotton fabric on the inside with the outside consisting of the nude mesh.

Finally!! A padded bra (other than CHP) that fits!!!

The cleavage that this bra gives me makes ME smile.

I had previously tried an S in size 65FF and, while the cups "fit" and I didn't quad in it, I couldn't get even a soft tack.

This size ALMOST tacks. Its soooo close. I'm thrilled. There is less than 1/2 cm from my sternum to the gore, which is caused by my bossy bigger breast.

There is a little bit of openness at the very top of the cup, even with cookies, but not enough to complain about and it isn't present when I stand tall - which I ... tend to do when I'm on a date anyway https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

Band is what I'd consider TTS for an Ewa 65.

Straps are wide and wires are high...they're right at my max.

As for aesthetics, I've never seen a nicer shade of soft pink! It has a slight peach undertone to it.

@MagdaBras4you ordered me this set and I couldn't be happier. It takes longer than if I had ordered direct and paid for DHL, but I'd rather wait 2 weeks extra and save all those fees. Not to mention, Magda provides EXCELLENT customer service https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    This is a win, win!!

This is my first CH cut. I have read that this model is similar to the CHP, but slightly more projected and upfront in this size range. Based on this bra, I can confirm that this is true. I just a very uplifted, upfront and centre look with this bra.

The fit of the bra is excellent. There is lots of immediate projection and the wire stays firmly put in my IMF. The wires are narrow, but not quite as narrow as my CHP in the same size. The depth of the bra is wonderful, it is very comfortable. The band is a little looser than I ... prefer but fits comfortably on the second last hook. If given the choice, I would have ordered this bra in a 60GG.

I love the green mesh base of this bra - it is a very vibrant, rich colour. The black swiss dot mesh overlay really adds some sophistication to the bra. It is simply gorgeous. I would love to get my hands on a pair of the matching panties to make this a set.

    • Can’t wait to see the pictures. I can imagine how lovely it looks with your skin tone. Is the cup height the same as the CHP? Is it still very open on top?

    • 1

Calluna I've quickly snapped some photos before work. They are not the best - I will have to update them. The model is very similar to the CHP and is, I think, more open on top. Atleast in this particular model. I haven't tried others. I find it slightly taller, but not by much.

    • 1

Calluna just double checked the height measurements. Technically this one is .3 cm shorter but fits taller. I wonder if it is because it has more immediate projection than the CHP and depth at the bottom of the cup.

    • This looks beautiful on you.

    • Wow that is stunning!

I have a thing for white bras. I just adore them. I think it's because they remind me of the white bras my mom and grandmother wore when I was little.

The lace on this is lovely and fit is perfect(I didnt tighten straps for pic...hence cup wrinkling at bottom). I just wish the band was covered in lace.

    More pics and measures tonight.

How's the wire width compared to the others? I love this but mine was made so wrong.

    • Sovavosi wires exactly the same as my white BiBi.

    • 1

No measurements on that one, so I can't compare if they made them wider :)

    • 1

      I'll measure them tonight.

    • 1

      Thank you!

    • 1

Sovavosi I'm waiting for lentils to boil, so I measured my Bibi and Grace for you.

The cup measures wider and deeper on Bibi. The wire itself is longer too. Well...actually, the wire channel is longer. There is almost 1.5cm of empty space above the wire in the channel. THIS is what is changing the measurements. The wires themselves are exactly the same, but that extra empty space gives a bigger cup because measures are taken on the diagonal.

When I measure cup width straight across the cup at the top of the gore, both bras are identical - 13cm wide.

I hope that helps you (and someone else).

    • 1

Hmm. Sounds like I just got a dud, instead of the pattern for this one being different. Thank you for measuring! I'll probably re-order this one again at some point. I like the gore charm and the white lace.

    • 3

Sovavosi This stuff drives me crazy
So, I just put Grace on top of Bibi. They fit the same to the eye.

      http://imgur.com/a/gEM82Pk

But, compared to Kleks, no. See, its cut differently.

      http://imgur.com/a/4ocMM79

    • 2

Yep, I always expect her bras to be inconsistent. My Grace has 6.5" wires. Not even my UK bras were that wide. So long as that doesn't happen again I think it should be ok.

    • 1

      Consistently inconsistent strikes again..... Yay.....

    • 1

      *screams in frustration*
I do not understand how the inconsistencies happen, do they not use the same pattern for all BMs?

    • 1

Yup. Lower gore, more V neckline and wider straps on Kleks. None of them negatively affect me, but it could for those who need that gore height, cup height or are always on the cusp with strap placement.

    • 2

I actually enjoyed this kind of science. It's very visual and much easier to see discrepancies as measurements could differ each time I take them. But photos don't lie.

    • 1

      Exactly AprilGoulding! !!

The cups are too short/small for me, so I'd say this runs at least a half cup small, if not a full cup size.

I was a little surprised/disappointed that this only has a two hook band (I think all of my other EM's have been three hooks), but it's not a dealbreaker.

This bra is a beautiful and elegant neutral that fits similarly to my other Ewa BM, 60GG - Ewa Michalak » Bm Magnolia (693) . It provides full coverage support, but still looks pretty due to the lace and shiny fabric. Like all my Ewas, the straps are wider and wings higher than I'd prefer, but the narrow, well fitting cups make up for it.

Beautiful bra. Excellent quality. Fits well, not perfect, but good enough for me. I would prefer the straps to be closer in - as you can see they are having to go slightly diagonally which makes them curve and slightly dig in, though this is not uncomfortable for me.

One thing I would change is the thickness of the lining (my nipples show through it) and the position of the pads. If the pads were slightly taller then my nipples would not show through the lining.

There is what I'm going to name a "visible pad line" just underneath my nipple.

    • That's super cute and looks nice on you. I've never seen this style before.

    • It is lovely!!

    • 1

I requested it from Ewa. Right now she's only done BM mietusek but since tall gores do not work for me, i asked for it in a CHP style, for which I had to pay slightly extra for

    • 1

Nice. I like the fact that she's willing to make things in different styles. This looks like a style I should try at some point. Low gores are awesome.

**ALL PICTURES WERE TAKEN WITH PADS IN**
This bra is so much more beautiful in person than online-if that's possible to believe! This bra is gorgeous. The navy and dark green really work well together. However, I think I overshot my size. While the measurements all point to this being a perfect fit, it was a little gappy at the top without the pads in (which is why I took pictures with the pads in). I think maybe a size down would be better, but then I think it would be too narrow-but let's start at the beginning! This bra is seriously beautiful. My first impression was how solid ... it seemed. The construction is pretty neat and looks built to last. The attention to detail is incredible. I like that the ribbons on the seams of the cups are two different colours. The only thing I would change would be the placement of the eyelash lace. I think it would be more striking if the eyelashy bits stuck over the cup like they do in the other shape. The band is a plain navy with ribbons on the side seam and little scallopy green trim on the bottom and a ribbon ruffled down the front of the straps. The bows on this bra are awesome. The magenta really pops and I love how big the one on the gore is. The straps don't pose a problem width wise and I'm pretty short. However, they are super difficult to adjust, even though it says fully adjustable. The front of the straps has really pretty ribbon detailing but it was causing problems getting over that seam. My solution? The rat-tail end of a rat-tail comb-just wiggle it into the loop in the adjuster and slowly ease it out. I had no problems after that. I can adjust the straps short enough (I'm 4'8") which is always nice, but I think I need to go a smidge shorter. They are very wide and super comfy and plush. I doubt this will pose a problem. Width wise, this bra seems perfect, although it's the same width as some of my bras that feel too wide. They're nice and short and don't poke me in the arm pits like some I have. The cups...the cups are weird. The sizing is weird. It's 9.5 inches (without pads), which should be a pretty good depth for me, even verging on small. However, they gap without the pads in! It's not like I don't have the breast to fill it (I have breast tissue up to my collar bone and I think a pretty even shape). Despite this quandary, if I keep the pads in and really scoop and shuffle and adjust the straps pretty short, it's a nice fit with minor gapping at the top. I think the gapping at the top is simply due to shape and how thick the cup is. The shape it gives is...not quite rounded, not quite natural, maybe a little east-west? Whatever it is, I like it, and I normally love a more natural shape like the kind an unlined Freya gives. It's very perky and young. The wires are a very firm tack and feel super supportive. The gore doesn't poke at all and it's super comfortable. The band is super tight at 28.5 inches and it barely works for me. The band is the one thing I would change. Give me just .5 more inches of stretch and 3 hooks instead of 2 (on a G cup, really?) and I'd love it. There are are 4 rows of hooks which is nice. I also ordered the thong for this model and holy crap guys, don't let the stock photo fool you. It is SHEER. Very sheer. I think it runs true to size. It's not a snug fit on me but it's not too loose. It's beautiful though. I tried to take photos of it (in my darkish room with an ipod) but I'll see if I can take better photos when the sun is out. It has 3 bows, two baby ones in the front and then a giant one in the back. It's got a little frill at the top of the band and the eyelash lace on the sides. The back/sides of the thong has the same frilly scallopy bits the bottom of the band does and the crotch area has the strap detailing on it. It feels like a very cohesive set and I feel like an absolute princess in it. Although I think it's maybe a size big, I have no plans to return it because it's wearable and I bought it for a special occasion in a week so I have no time to go through an exchange. This is a very comfortable beautiful bra and I'm so glad I bought it. And next time (because there will definitely be a next time) I'll get the same style in the next size down and compare!

**EDIT** I shortened the straps even more and there's absolutely no gapping. I can still easily fit a finger or two under them so they aren't tight. They are now the perfect length and the best part is the cleavage! I never thought it would be possible for me to get that much cleavage in a bra that fits as perfect as this one does now. The last picture is the bra with the straps adjusted as tight as comfortable.

**EDIT TWO** Since shortening the straps (see addendum above) I can wear the bra without the pads. However, it causes slight gapping on my smaller right side and I love the cleavage they give me so although I can wear it without the pads I choose to wear it with.

      Beautiful!!

    • 1

Beautiful! It's so hard with ewas bras sometimes cuz they are handmade and there will always be discrepancies with sizing because of it.
      It's so stunning though!

    • It really is. I think the problem with the sizing I had was in my haste to try it on, I hadn't quite figured out the optimal strap adjustment. I just added a picture showing even shorter straps and extra careful scooping and shuffling and now that I've figured it out I even get cleavage! I normally don't get cleavage, at least not this obvious. It's usually very subtle so it's nice to have variety.

    • curious why you went up to a G when most of your listed bras are Fs or DDs? Usually ppl only go up one size from their UK size? I really do wonder if it would fit better down a size. OTOH, I mound out of the top of my Ss, and you dont have much room to go up - it would be up to your collar bone!

    • All the dds and one F (not the Freya one) do not fit, despite what the pictures say. I'm trying to figure out my correct size. I was going off of the Freya which has a cup depth of a little less than 10 inches (off the top of my head). It is the only bra I have listed besides this one that I would call a perfect fit so I've been using it to figure out sizing. While the difference between my overbust and preferred band size is 7 inches, I found the F cup I tried to be too small (okay, way too small) and based on measurements users have submitted I have deduced that an FF or a G would work best, provided that they have a cup depth between 9.5 and 10 inches. This bra, with pads in and after I've adjusted, is actually a perfect fit. Since I've shortened the straps even more, I have no gaping. I could probably get away with a size down but I think with the pads it would be a tight fit and might be a touch too narrow.

    • Apparently I can't edit. I should have added that I'm not adjusting the straps just to make the cups fit, I'm just extremely extremely short with boobs all the way up so I need very very very short straps or I feel gappy and wiggly and unsupported.

Oh look, I tried yet another strapless bra. I like the low gore and deep V neckline, and the gore does tack. The cups are hella wide and shallow, as expected. They're also very tall and gap at the top. Band is snug. It's not the worst strapless I've ever tried.

Ugh, this gives me no hope for my en route Toffi. It's not terrible though, so there's that!

    • No, it's not terrible. It's seriously so stiff. I think it's stiffer than a Deco. That's honestly why I think it still manages to hold my boobs up.

Perfect cups for me (soft tissue, narrow root, close set). The band is uncomfortably tight/firm, though 65 worked for me out of the box in some other Ewa colorways; if you're between band sizes, sister size up.

This seems like a really useful and great bra, so I'm planning to get this in a 32FF (band up/cup down sister size). Smooth and nude-colored, this is a perfect T-shirt bra. This has been a serious gap in my bra-drobe.

Materials: 30% polyester, 20% cotton, 5% elastane, 45% something I can't see because the label is sewn in. Polyamide?

I actually ordered this because I had burned my 30FF nude Deco (seriously), the Ewa Michalak Pralinka I had ordered in 70FF a few weeks ago was strangely too small, and I needed a new nude - Quickly. It is a gorgeous bra. It is actually part of the 'bridal collection' and I can see why. It is so pretty, I almost feel like I need a special occasion to wear it. However, special occasions for me are sadly few and far between so rather than let it gather dust, I will put it into rotation. Its worth noting that the band seems very snug on this one and only stretches to 29" when I pull as hard as I can. Thankfully I also purchased the ecru extender.

    • gorgeous!

    • Is the lace more peach or beige in person?

Either way, it's gorg! Thanks for posting a review.

    • It leans more towards beige. There are no peach tones to it. The base colour is ecru, a very pale cream, and the lace overlay is a more medium cream. The colours shown in the pics where I am wearing the bra are most accurate.

    Didn't fit

This was my second purchase from Ewa Michalak after my 65GG - Ewa Michalak » Pl Onyks (196). This bra fits me well and is both supportive and flattering. Sizing down to a 30G was an improvement in fit mainly due to narrower and shorter cups. I almost always struggle with cups being too high under the arm. My 28GG - Freya » Deco (4234) is very tall under the arms, if it were any taller I think it would be unwearable. The Pl Onyks is lower than the Deco but higher than I'd like and the Pl Black is even lower ... under the arms and therefore much more comfortable for me. Also, sizing down in the cup prevented any gaping such as that which I initially experienced in the Pl Onyks.
I have read many people online recommending to size up in the cup from one's British size when choosing an Ewa Michalak Pl model but I find the opposite to be true. Whilst my most comfortable size in most British bras would usually be 30GG and sometimes 30G, I am happy to take 30G (and 32FF) in Ewa Michalak because of the depth of the cups, especially at the base of the cups. Being able to wear the smaller size means narrower wires, shorter cups and less overall coverage which is exactly what I require.
I must admit that this is not the most comfortable bra, probably due to the material, but it has become more comfortable with wear and I imagine will continue to do so. It took quite a few months for my Freya Deco to become comfortable enough for me so I think this is a process I will just have to endure with virtually any bra.
The only other issue I really have is that the wires dig in under the cups and at the gore. It is not too uncomfortable for the most part but of course the longer I wear the bra the worse it feels. I have slightly turned the wires away from my sternum at the gore and this has helped a great deal. So far I have found the wires in Ewa Michalak's bras to be very rigid which has advantages and disadvantages. I'd rather have these wires than weak wires that distort, flatten the cup, give a bad shape and hinder support.
Overall this is a well-fitting, attractive bra with which I am happy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I ordered this bra from a different Bratabase user as a way of diagnosing EM fit before putting in my own custom order - at the time I was comfortably filling out a 28G Freya. I had heard that Ewa Michalak bras generally (and this one in particular) ran firm in the band, and that I would be most comfortable in a 65 band. The band rides up, even on the tightest hook, with the straps fully extended. I would definitely be more comfortable in a band size down. The straps also seem bizarrely short - I am only 5'5" and even fully extended they ... *barely* fit. I thought Polish ladies were tall?

Now for the good news - I went up a full cup size between when I ordered this and when it arrived (I now fill out a 28GG), so I was very concerned that it would be way too small. This does not appear to be an issue - the cups fit perfectly and give me AMAZING round cleavage. I'm totally filling up the cup with the straps fully extended, though, so if I grow even a tiny bit more I will start quad-boobing all over the place. The gore tacks but does not dig in, the underwires are in the perfect spot, and have I mentioned the CLEAVAGE! Wow!

I will definitely be keeping this - as of right now it is the only bra I own that fits without quadboobing, and the band issues can easily be resolved by altering the band down a tiny bit (or just reserving this as a special-occasions sexy bra once my other bra orders with a tighter band arrive).

The bra is gorgeous, well-made, lined in cotton and perfectly shaped so that it doesn't dig in anywhere. I'm seriously impressed.

This is my second Ewa Michalak order/bra. I originally reviewed this bra in a size 65GG, Review here: http://bra.pe/RB3V/ , but it was too large in the cup for me. The materials and elastic are soft and comfortable. The straps are fully adjustable and strap placement on the cups is just right. In this size of 65G I feel like the cup is a little short vertically. My areolas ever so slightly peeks out the top after wearing all day, but is not an issue for me because I always wear a nude, thin, cotton tank under my shirts. The underwire are a nice round shape ... and do not distort. The band is very comfortable, but I have to wear this on the tightest set of hooks. This bra has three columns and two rows of hooks, unlike the 65GG that had three rows. Me personally I prefer the three rows of hooks because I felt that the band provided better support. The nude is on the darker side, but looked fine under a white tee shirt. Despite the minor fit issues I will keep this bra because it does fit.

I ordered on February 4th and on the same day I got a separate notice informing me that they did not have all the items in stock to fulfill my order. On February 13th I got notice that they started to process my order, I got notice of shipment on February 14th, and it just arrived in the mail today February 23rd. This is based on shipping from Poland to Anaheim, CA, U.S.A. Overall I am very pleased with the process.

Material: The lace IS very thin, but not in a flimsy way. The pattern is not as garish as I was expecting; it's actually quite pretty. It's slightly itchy (less itchy than the FF?!), and I can see the lace through a thick-ish tshirt. The seams are less apparent than my nipples through the shirt, so it's more the texture that shows through.

Straps and Band: The straps are a little narrower than I'm used to, but not as narrow as the Koralik. The band fit more tightly and wasn't as stretchy as the FF. Ideally, I'd like the straps to be closer together, but I'm petite with narrow-ish shoulders.

Fit: Honestly, the cups didn't feel very different from the FF, and it was only after comparing photos that I realized the FF fit me better. The top edge gaps more in the G than the FF, and it comes up higher in the cup, without actually lifting me higher. Yet, I felt more supported than I did in the 65FF, for whatever that's worth.
