This bra fits just like my other HM (HM Fiolecik). It is my holy grail shape. Super narrow center gore (with wires that overlap at the top!), absolutely tons of room for center fullness and bottom fullness. Narrow, projected, very forward and very uplifted. Love!!
The fabric of this bra is not my most favorite. For some reason, the two toned flowers do not really appeal to me. I do love the hot pink bows with tiny black dots though. But honestly, this bra is a workhorse for me. I don't really mind if the looks arent my 100% favorite. I wear it more than my Fiolecik because I'm not as concerned about hoarding it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I wear it just about anywhere, because the shape it gives me under fitted clothing is absolutely unparalleled.
My new Ewa came so fast! It shipped on September 13th and just came today, the 21st! I hadn't even started hoping each day that today was the day - just wasn't on my radar! They did have this one in stock already, so there wasn't the extra delay as it was made (part of why I got the 65D and not the 65DD..)
The cups are so nice and short as I hoped they would be! It's perfect for all my lowest cut scoop necks (and my short short roots!) I do have a bit of in-cup quadding on one side from the small dart that goes ...from the gore in towards the apex but it's not too noticeable.. I worry that in a 65DD the cups and gore could be too tall, particularly since it's so open at the top and my breasts are pretty short. The gore on the 65D is already a bit taller than I would prefer. It might be fine though! It's real tempting to order a second to see https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
I am happy with it though! Will have to add measurements/fit/review as soon as I can get to it (grumble grumble it wants me to enter new measurements since it's been too long.. I should do this for my own good I know..) Read more 119 more words
This is a major disappointment for me after wearing so many other EM bras. The wires are extremely wide, they are almost at my back. It feels like wearing a UK bra again. My guess is they aren't stabilized in the band, and they are getting pulled backwards when I put the bra on. Because the wires don't push me forward, the bra is too tall even with how short it is, and I get gaping at the top. It can't cope with my shallow roots at all. While it can't be seen under a shirt, it doesn't feel supportive and the wires are poking me in the ribs. The band is also very stretchy, measuring at 29", comfortable on the second tightest hooks to start.
I normally wear 55F in Ewa Michalak CHP, but decided to go with 55E in this cut, since I am FOB with very, very short roots. That turned out to be exactly the right choice.
This is a stunning bra. The lace is gorgeous and I'm not sure I'd call it "sheer" so much as "openwork." Since I sized down, it's pretty low coverage on me, with the top edge of the cups going straight across just above the nipples. I definitely couldn't have gone with my usual size because it's very open on top and there would have been a lot of gapping in 55F. In 55E, though, ...it's a perfect fit. The low coverage combined with my short rooted, low set breasts gives a really interesting effect that I like a lot.
Fit wise, the cups are narrow and actually have more projection than one might have expected from a two seam halfcup. The band is true to size, fitting pretty much the same as CHP Myszka. Because of the lace used, it's not the most supportive bra in the world, but still suitable for lounging around the house, or a day at the office if you're like me and wear an extra tank top layer under all your shirts, haha. Wow! I LOVE this bra and Ewa Michalak! I got this 30DD bra from another Bratabase user. The band stretches to 30" but I found it a bit deeper than a normal 30:5 at 9" deep. It seems like there may be some variance in cup depth, maybe just my experience? (I am going to sew in the band for longer use as it is on the tightest hook now but the cups fit wonderfully for me a 26ff/g...or 28f/ff in EM sizes.)
I have reduced upper fullness with roots that are tall and shallow. I was prepared to gather in ...the top lace a bit but I don't feel I need to. Ewa does some amazing things with my bottom full boobs by giving them a nice shape up top without padding! The shape in this bra is rounded and lifted! Ewa are the only bras that make the tops of my breasts almost look rounded and full up top! I don't know how they do this miracle! So pleased!
I have close set breasts but the gore is still comfortable. I also like how the bra doesn't feel too heavy on my ribcage and shoulders like my other balconettes from La Senza.
My only complaint is the lace feels itchy to me. I do have dry skin so I will have to remember to moisturize before I wear this and maybe the lace will soften up over time.
I love the stretchy bra band and thick fully adjustable straps. I totally recommend this bra!
This bra really surprised me! It looks so delicate in your hands, but it's really a powerhouse on! It gives an incredibly round shape and wonderful cleavage, but feels incredibly light because it's just unlined lace. It has one vertical seam in my size. The band is a little bit looser than I'm used to for Ewa; runs more like a true or slightly stretchy 32, but since it has 4 sets of hooks I'll be okay.
