There is the cup construction part of this review, and there is... well, the rest of the components. As to the cup itself, would say this is almost analogous in fit to the HM as it's pure depth-at-wire and appears to be built for very round even shapes needing open top for upper fullness. Which is fanfreakintastic for me, being a literal short semicircle merged to a wide/tall root, carrying most of my breast depth on the outside. Maybe not so much, for ...all the poor souls desperately searching for THE ONE with firm narrow support, enough projection, containment in the upper region or basic coverage. I mean, it's likely that one ///could//// get a decent fit in this CH if they've got a fairly average or not extreme case of shape & support issues. Coming 'Out of the Desert' stuck with inner-full Cleo Mimi, and Gorsenia's gorgeous albeit notoriously stingy halfcups... it might be too soon to tell if this is truly the shape I've been after, or just extremely relieving after a lifetime of utter crap (how the hell did I miss out on the whole Masquerade and Mimi thing? Oh yeah NOBODY carries anything even close to a 32 band god forbid higher tha a D cup).
As I've only had CHP's and never had another CH, I can't say whether the generally loose/lightweight/unconforming to the torso nature of the materials comprising its frame/band/strap are more to do with the matchy-matchy aspect that makes the Toffik such a gorgeous beige 'nude', or some other part of the design process at play (strapgate backlash?)
-Toffiks' straps while very long, have nearly no stretch at all and serve as cake icing decoration for my shoulders. Which is fine by mine as these are almost 20" long! -2 small strips of elastic in the band are pretty much the only things holding this bra near my body, bust, or well being. Given they are far stretchier than my 28" underbust requires, the cups float ridiculously away from my breasts, flopping at the least provocation and sit over the sides slipping about clownishly. Temporary solution of pinning down the back much shorter, and wearing this awkward farce of a band at appropriate length is better, but clearly will be replacing the band altogether with real powernet when it arrives. - the frame (ie wing to gore parts of band) are also made from the same 4-way beige SUPERSTRETCHY knit sewn onto a base of very fine duoplex with the stretch cut vertically along the wings, and horizontally!? at the gore. This leads me to assume that Toffik's purpose is to fit very squishy bodies with a lot of curve both allowing the inner breast to pull out some space and force the gore to float, as well as let the outer wire point outward away from the body should the breast overflow on that end.
It's pretty ingenious/bizarre when compared to typical bra construction, so pop off I guess. Read more 425 more words
This is my third Syrena (yeah, it’s one of those designs I like so much that I keep buying when my size changes) and, I think, my third attempt at S. After a little restoration project on the tired out band, this one fits me pretty well. I’m glad I gave S another chance; it opens up my Ewa options a lot.
I get lots of forward projection and great shape from this bra, especially with the (30F sized) cookies. The only real problem is the lace and seams do show up under thin shirts, but I’m used to that at this point.

UK 28FF/G. My fit needs: projected, immediately projected, slightly narrow, fob with tall roots (functionally even), very close set, very center full. Pretty bra but too big and wide. The band was a true 30 so I sewed it and I put in cookies to see if that would help, but I still was gaping at the top. Very full on top bra. The straps were also too wide set.

I picked a 65G since I have a 65G walentyka which fits perfectly but that's an older model which fits like a 26G-GG while this 65G runs true to size with a slightly tight band (29"). It's a near fit since it's very narrow, projected, and immediately projected but I have some vertical wrinkling near the top because it's a little too big. Maybe it's a good thing since I need to move the straps in and it will fix the volume issue. I'm wondering if I could go down a size to 65FF or if it would be too small or not have enough coverage. Also like the sm walentyka, the gore is very stabby.
This bra is gorgeous but for some reason I don't like my shape in it. I like my other Ewa in the same size so I think it's something in the cut of the top of the cups.
I ordered this one because I had another Rarytas that I really liked, but this one seems slightly different and doesn't quite fit the same. The straps seem set a bit farther apart and the cups don't have as much projection. It's amazing that ordering two of the same product, one can fit well and another doesn't quite do it.
I love this style of bra from EM. This one has a slightly thicker fabric than the beige one I own. It's very cute and fun. It fit me well and few years ago when I bought it, but I gained weight soon afterward and it is not currently close to fitting at all. Good forward projection, firm band, stretchy forgiving lace at the top of the cup.
I love this bra! The gore is a really narrow plunge, which is great for my close set and center-full breasts. The wires are the perfect width for me and the cups fit perfectly. Not to mention the fact that this bra is cute as a button (literally).
The SM is technically a balconette, but it’s low cut and the gore is low so it’s kinda sexy. It’s a beautiful bra. My original one was a little bit too small and this one was a little too big, so I definitely need a size in the middle (65FF or 70F).
This a boring looking bra, but very functional. As with most Ewas, it has narrow wires with a good amount of projection. I like the SF cut as it offers more support in the body of the bra while have a decorative thinner element in the top panel covering the breast.
It is looser in the back than the black version of the same model as often happens with different colourway, but not enough to change size.
After having some fit issues with this bra in a 65GG, I reordered in my usual BM size 65G as having a nice nude bra is a staple in my bra wardrobe. The color is lovely under white shirts and I feel this shade can carry over from when I’m at my lightest to when I’m very tan at my darkest as a nude bra. This bra has lovely lace on the cup, the backband is a nude like mesh. The straps have the scalloped thread edging and requires you to take it off to adjust. Not terrible as it won’t ever just slide out of position once ...you’ve set your straps. The backband is firm but comfortable but slightly on the snug side. I appreciate that this doesn’t have any bows or charms. Just small buttons where the straps meets the cup as well as the center gore. I’d say this works great as an every day bra. Very pleased with the overall fit.
Panties are the Briefs Deser Nugatowy in size 38. There is a single layer of medium toned nude on the front panel as well as on the back panel, with same color nude lace on the hips that wraps around to the back lower bottom section. There is a seam that runs up the back and there is a small nude bow on the back and a small button on the center of the front. There is a scalloped elastic that runs around the top as well as the front section of the leg holes. There is a nude cotton gusset in the inside of the crotch. This is a a lovely nude bra. The band is snug for a 65 and the cups fit TTS. For me this means a hint of quad boob on my larger side and a great fit on my smaller side with a cookie added. The straps are easy to adjust. I'm sure I will get lots of wear out of this bra.
I love this bra! It fits really well, is comfy and is a good nude for me. I got it from Forever Yours and they don't sell 60 bands so I sister sized into a 65G, so my only issue is the band is looser than I need. However, with 4 rows of hooks, I can get it snug enough without taking it in and EM bras always take a really long time to stretch out. It has nice narrow cups with great projection and the cups are a great height for my short breasts. I'm really happy with it.
I so wanted this bra to fit. I'm an avid gardener and long to have a lightweight bra for summer. Although I love the space at the wire, my short roots have been swallowed by the height of the half cup. Sigh. The fabric is supportive, comfortable, and beautiful (of course this gardener approves https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> ). As is typical of 99% of wired bras I've tested, the wire spacing at the gore base ...is too wide. And, my very center-full breasts are tethered at the center and smooshed to the sides. I loathe the pain this causes. And, within a few hours, my lymph nodes are swollen for a few days. This size looks too big, but it's actually a poor design for my very center-full breasts.

This is an older CHP so it doesn't have cookie pockets or cookies. It's also a 65, so it's still a little loose on the tightest hooks (stretches to 29", so pretty TTS). I like the look I get with this bra (and other CHPs), although I know they work better on ladies with more upper fullness. The cup volume is better than my 60Gs and it's nice to have a bra that's not making my very soft breasts bulge and quad.
This one looks like it fits you well. I could never get CHPs to fit me properly. They are always either too big or too small... never a perfect fit. I think they're just too open for me.

Interesting that it’s not got cookie pockets! After trying your 65FF XOXO, I am still curious about the CH/CHP cut. I just don’t know if the issues I had with yours was a style issue, a size issue, or simply a cut issue. I guess I just have to try more to find out. Interesting how you gave me your PL Milady, and now have a CHP Milady. One goes out and one comes in. It’s a nice design. Lol!

Love the green. Classic BM fit. Reliable. Pretty consistent. This one seems a tiny bit shallower at the wire than my other 65Gs. Also has smooth edged straps (no picot trim) which is probably why it has the unique strap adjusters. Some people love them. I am not fond of them because they're white and not violet like the straps. Same thing with the ring connectors on the back. I'd prefer if they were violet.

I’m of two minds on the sliders. I like the unique design and idea but not sure if I like it in practice. I do love green. Brava lingerie in Australia has an S Absynt if you are interested.
This bra fits like a typical 65G CHP. It gives a great rounded shape and has lots of projection at the wire. The wires are narrow and the straps are nice and thick.
The lace on this bra is rather cumbersome, however, and can be seen through thin shirts. It is just too much lace for me. I may remove the lace to see if it improves the appearance of the bra under clothing.
The colour of this bra and the cleavage it gives are both WOW!! I LOVE this bra, I just wish it fit me.
It's a beautiful shade of taupe with rose flowers in the lace. I just love it.
Like all PL, it has a 2-part lower cup (1 vertical seam) and a top, horizontal part as well, with a small taupe knitwear "border" showing above the lace.
It's a 65G - the bands FITS, but I can already put it on the 2nd or even 3rd hook, so I am thinking I may need a 60.
The cup ALMOST fits with the cookies, but there's gaping at the top.
Based on the photos, I would suggest keeping this size. Assuming the cookies are in? The gaping is so minor in the photos, I feel that even without the cookies, the cups would be too small in a cup size down. If you are not prone to quadding, you would still be able to wear a cup down, but the gore would float for sure. Ewa cookies provide less than half a cup of extra oomph (varies by size of course), so keep that in mind when assessing fit with vs without them.
How does the cup fit with two cookies in one side? Do the cups fit nicely then, or does it give quadding or gore float?
If the band feels unsupportive, you could go down a to a 60 band, in which case I would go with the 60G as sister sizing isn't exact with Ewa. :-)
I bought this bra from another bratabase user (thank you Sonya!!), knowing that the cups would likely be half a size too large. I had hoped that because I am rather FOT the gaping at top of the cup would be mitigated and the fit would be functional. The bra was simply too beautiful to pass up and I have been dying to try an SM. Sadly (and predictably), the bra is just too big for me. On the bright side, I found that band to be firmer than expected and the wires are delightfully narrow, if not almost perfect fit. I would love to try this bra in a 65FF or a 60G. The quality and aesthetic of this bra are next-level.
Sorry it didn't fit, rachaelll. I agree that it is a stunning set. I hope it finds a new home. It was my second (and last) SM since I find their gores want to stab me.
This bra is very well constructed. I love the stretch lace along the top of the cup. This can help accommodate slight size changes during that time of the month. The bottom is a thin yet sturdy fabric. The band gives a lot of support. And as always I love the narrow wires! Defiantly a beautiful classy looking “nude” bra.
This is the first Sm bra I've tried. I got a good deal on it second hand so I couldn't pass it up. I don't think the previous owner even wore it except to try it on. I knew it would most likely be too big, which it is, both in the band and cups. It's still wearable, though, on the tightest hooks, although I get a bit of wrinkling. You can't notice any wrinkling through clothes because the fabric is super thin. It is made of an ultra thin and strong mesh. I look forward to wearing this in the summer when it is hot. It gives ...a decent amount of support and the aesthetic is very interesting. The 3 satin bows are a bit much for me though, so I may remove the 2 bows on the straps. The straps are comfortable and easily adjustable. I do find that the gore digs into my sternum a bit and that the mesh fabric is slightly scratchy. The shape I get in this bra is just a little droopy, but that might be because it doesn't fit as tightly as it should. I have the matching panties in size 36 and they fit really well.
