  1. Eris Plunge Bra (294)

    55J

    Fits

Well, this is new! Comexim sent me a bra with a UK size on the label! I ordered size 55J, which according to Comexim is a 26GG. That seems in line with Breakout Bras sizing, which advises to go 2 cups up from your UK size for a technically proper fit. I am a 26FF, so this fits like a 26FF.

I ordered this on Feb 13 2021 during the V-day sale, and it arrived today (March 2, 2021). Has anyone else ordered during this time period and noticed a UK size on the label?

I also notice a difference in the appearance of this bra! It has scalloping ... on the edges like in the pictures, but I’ve seen Erises come without scalloping. They also put the cutest little silver “C” charm on top of the center gore bow! Love it! I expected this to be a homely looking thing, being one of Comexim’s older models. To my surprise, my Eris really looks fresh and luxurious! The pictures do not do her justice!

So, I really should have reduced the cup height. The only alterations I asked for were added cookie pockets and straps moved in. I have no idea whether they not they moved the straps in, but I have reason to think they did. I always thought I had such narrow, sloping shoulders when my shoulders are actually the opposite: level and fairly broad for my frame. Moving the straps in may have caused the gapping near the center gore, because when I move them further out, the gapping largely goes away.

I’ll be honest I don’t like the way this looks on me. Don’t get me wrong, it looks GREAT under shirts, and I think I’ll come to like it because of its functionality. It’s just… ya know… too full coverage. The cups truly are much higher than my 55HH, and they are the absolute highest they can be on me. The cups literally cover ALL of my breast tissue; it’s just skin right above the cup. I do have tall roots but, being a ski slope shape, my tissue gets very shallow up top. Thus, reducing the cup height of a 55J plunge will be a smart choice for me from now on.

And yes, this does have gapping near the center gore. It could be caused by a number of things. 1) my shallow tissue doesn’t fill the cups up there 2) the center gore is way too narrow for my very wide set breasts. Any input would be much appreciated! I think it’s most likely reason 2. I also get gapping in my 55HH unaltered Charme plunge, but quadding as you go toward the straps. It’s a rather strange fit on my Charme, lol! Anyways, I think Comexim plunges just have too narrow a gore for me. The 3HCs and KH gores are the right width for me, and they are far wider.

I also got the matching panties! They’re adorable and so well-fitting. I got them in size S. My hips and butt are fairly small, measuring in proportion to my bust (34”). Actually they’re not so small, I just have hip dips and a butt that loves gravity a bit too much 😂 Strangely, my Charme and Spring panties don’t really fit my butt so well (I get bunching) but these do. Same size. Usually I get a size M in panties even though I’m so petite because I’ll get the coverage I desire. Anyways, I’m super happy about my new underwear! Although the bra is too full-coverage, the undies are the best fitting I’ve had in my whole life!

Overall, I think I’ll keep this one. The gapping at the gore is fairly negligible and the wires are comfy. I do find the band material at the back to be kind of itchy, but I’m hoping I’ll get used to it.

    Pics to follow!

oohh, I think this looks great on you! But yeah, I guess maybe requesting "reduced cup height" next time? This bra blogger (and Instagrammer) likes less full coverage bras too and she requests reduced cup height in Comexim https://mythoughtsonbras.blogspot.com/search/label/Comexim like for this bra https://mythoughtsonbras.blogspot.com/2016/09/comexim-small-quail-70g.html

I also ordered some bras during the V-day sale as 55K and they came marked 26H but are exactly the same size as my previous 55K.
The Eris looks great on you! The plunge really seems to suit your shape.

  2. Angel Balcony Bra (449)

    Didn't fit

I meant to order this in 60L but I forgot to add the size in the comment box. I did not notice until I got the shipping notification, oops! I find a lot of Comexim bands to be very stretchy and have to move to a tighter hook pretty quickly, so I have 60 and 65 band sizes in Comexim bras. It fits well on the loosest hook for now. I need a lot of support from the band and a very low gore due to symmastia. Lowering the gore can affect the cup depth and I have a lot of immediate projection so I ordered this with ... the gore lowered 2cm and added depth at the cup. Between sewing my own bras and learning about shape and size, I recognize a lot of the issues that come with lowered gores/added depth and how much it affects the support overall. It's a beautiful bra and fits fairly well, but there are some minor inconsistencies. It is not a bad thing, and should be expected when bras are hand made to order, especially with alterations. This is just the first time I've noticed it. The cup is made with a double mesh layer which gives great support. The left cup on this bra is beautiful and the mesh lines up perfectly. The right side was sewn a little differently, and there is a little bit of bunching in both layers of the mesh along the wire. This may be due to the added depth alteration (the immediate projection is wonderful), or a combination of the added depth, lowered gore, and some bunching in the mesh. The left wire channel is sewn over the right, and the right wire starts a little lower because of the overlap. This differs from the Naomi I ordered in November, where the wires begin at the same exact height and are overlapped in the center. On this bra, the wires do not overlap at all, just the wire channel is overlapped. I cannot tell from other photos of the Angel if this is how it is usually made, and it could be that it was done this way because I ordered the gore lowered. I did have the thought that it may be a new adjustment to fix the issues some other users have been having with the twisting gore. The way the wire channels are sewn compared to the Naomi is much better for comfort at the top of the gore and I can fold it for storage where I can't with the Naomi. I'm interested to see if this adjustment continues or if it was a random occurrence with my bra because I lowered the gore and added the cup depth. I wish the left side had been the one with all the bigger measurements, because it's my bigger side. When I push the gore all the way to my sternum (I almost never get a full tack with wires taller than 2 inches because of symmastia), the left side experiences a tiny bit of quadding.

Editing my review to add: I have worn and washed this a couple times now, and the inconsistencies are no longer there. Maybe the fabric wasn't pre-washed, or there was some stretching in the sewing process on the right side of the bra. It's now a symmetrical, beautiful Comexim bra. Unfortunately it's too small for me, so I will probably list it. I plan to reorder in 60L with the same alterations.

      moonshineforest thank you!

This looks so light and airy, perfect for summer! Hopefully the minor imperfections aren’t a total bust and it will still work well. Would they replace it if the quality control issues are a problem?

    • 2

Happy2BraShop It's so light! I haven't worn it for a full day yet, I will do that and get a thorough feel for the fit and if it does have issues I'll write to Joanna. I've been trying to learn sewing tulle and power mesh lately and I have so much respect for those who make unlined bras. It's difficult! And hard to get perfect.

    • 2

I would love to start sewing bras, but...I'm nervous to start! Lol.
      Oh well, maybe someday...
cute bra though...I love beige. I mean, I love colour, too - but sometimes I'm just so attracted to neutrals, lol.

    • 2

BraOdyssey it's very intimidating to sew bras! I have to be in the right mood to even think about getting started lol I found a bunch of fabric sales around the holidays so I bought all the types of fabrics used in bras and I've been sewing bralettes or other smaller projects with them to get a feel for the fabrics and tension and such. I have yet to try an underwire bra, but I do have all the materials, so one day I'll find the courage lol

    • 2

I love the way this bras looks, I hope it works out for you. Thanks for the detailed review!

margesimpson I'm tempted to get a Moulin Rouge, I love the purple one! I'm surprised with how well the mesh keeps my soft tissue forward and in place all day.

    • 1

Oh I like the purple moulin rouge too, and they have my size! They don’t have my size in the angel balcony though :(

    • 3

margesimpson I usually choose the closest size and then in the comment box I write the size I need. If you're unsure if they'll make it in your size, you could write to them and ask.

  3. Clara Half Cup

    Fits

65J - Comexim » Basic Half Cup I'm so happy that I have my own Clara!

I kept on seeing this beauty on other people, and my jealousy and envy would just come out! I finally decided to order my own, and when I went to order it...it was gone on the website! Noooooooo. I was so heartbroken, but I emailed Joanna and asked her if there was any way she could make one for me, and she agreed. I'm so so happy to have my own now!

My shape is soft, low set, narrow/short rooted. This bra lifts up my tissue, making it look like I'm ... fuller on the upper half than I really am. It measures exactly the same as my other new bra - Comexim Basic Half Cup that I just ordered in 65J. I also asked for overlapping gore, cups reduced 1cm, and straps moved in 1cm. I believe they were done. This bra doesn't have the cup lining along the edge like the basic, so I almost felt like I'd have gaping, but it seems to fit nicely too. It has that scalloped edging that looks pretty but it hard to fit right (for me).

The straps adjust fully and the band is just slightly under 30" - which means it should stretch to a 30" with a few wears. I've been wearing extra long bands lately, becuase I've had this weird new sensory issue with tight bands. Most of my bands have been 32-34" the last few months, so 30" will feel tight enough for now!

I think the aesthetic of this bra is so pretty. Navy lace with a beige background. It's quite sophisticated and sexy I think. The gore charm is a little C with a tiny fake diamond. Its cute without standing out.

Again, like the basic in 65J, this bra has 3 sets of hooks and wider straps, which make for better support.

I'm glad I finally just admitted that I needed the 65Js, because my other bras have so much bubbling. I've gained a few pounds over the last year also, so 65HH was not just bubbling anymore but just plainly too small.

    Sorry for poor quality pictures.

    Win all around.

Congrats on your successful alterations! I hadn’t seen this style before, was it a seasonal add that is already unavailable?

    • 1

Wow it’s beautiful on you! I love blue, and that shade of blue and that lace is very nice. High-five for the bra win.

belleandblues It was available until a couple months ago. It's been reviewed a few times, and I caught the end of the roll I guess.

Happy2BraShop and margesimpson thanks! Sorry pics are so crappy!

    • 1

Wow! Looks great on you! I think I might like this better as a half cup, if I’m honest. I’m almost moved in to my new place and saved up a bit of money, so I’m about ready to get something new from Comexim. I’m just not sure what I want yet. I mean, I want a lot of things, but I’m only able to afford one.

    • 1

belleandblues Clara looks to be back on the comexim website! I'm not sure why it was removed for a while. https://www.comexim.pl/balkonetki/731-sara-biustonosz.html

    • 1

Nice, thanks for the heads up! Interesting that the URL says "Sara" and not Clara!

    • 1

Oh that's nice that it's back on their website for more people to enjoy!

I like it as a half cup too. I just wish my pictures weren't so crappy. I should be moving into my new place in March or April, so hopefully future pictures will be better! (Plus I obviously need to clean my phone)

    • 1

How many hooks does this have?

    • 1

Calluna it has 3 hooks x 4 rows (columns?). But if you're ordering anything smaller than a "J", you may want to special request that (if you want 3), because I think J is the cut off point for switching from 2 to 3. I'm not 100% on that, but most of my 65HH bras have 2 hooks.

    • 1

Thanks. I was more curious about the columns and if it was 2x3, 2x4, 3x3, or 3x4 because it is is 2x4 or 3x4 default, it’s one less alteration to request.

    • 2

Congrats on the fit! Now I'm jealous because I have 2 versions of this bra - padded and unpadded 3HC - and none of them fit because my size changed before they got here! Still trying to sell them for $25 each so hmu if anyone is interested in 60K's. ;)

    • 2

kate166 your bras are what made me want this one! I previously would have bought your 60K but my rib area has "expanded" the last few months, lol.

Wilderness1 I’m glad my reviews sparked your interest! :D

    Another perfect Comexim <3

I'm soft, low set, narrow rooted. I ordered (and received as far as I can tell) straps moved in 1cm, cups lowered by 1cm, and overlapping gore.

This bra lifts me up and makes it look like I have upper fullness - which I don't. As every other comexim I own, it is comfortable right out of the box, and the quality and aesthetic is beautiful. I get a nice, rounded (but not jetting out) kind of profile.

The bra itself is like a soft satin on the outside - so less chance of clothing sticking and creating weird hang ups. The inside is a ... cotton, so nice and comfy against your skin. The straps adjust fully, the band is sized just under 30", and there are 3 sets of hooks. I love order 65Js in Comexim, because the straps are always wider and there are usually 3 sets of hooks for more support.

The cups are thinly padded - 2 vertical seams to make it a 3HC. There is a thin lining along the cups edge, which works really well for my short roots as it hugs the top of my boobs so I don't have any gaping. Unlike the previous 65HHs I've ordered, this one fits perfectly without bubbling. Not sure why I haven't ordered more 65Js? I think I was worried they would fit my boob but leave a gap along the upper edge. With these alterations it fits perfectly.

Sorry for the crappy pictures - I think it's a mixture of poor lighting and a dirty camera (okay, maybe I also just take bad pictures....)

So glad that you have found a great fit in your new size and alterations. I’m not sure what size I need in a 3HC at the moment. Thinking 65H with added depth or 65HH with reduced cups, or equivalent size and alterations on a 70 band. My current 70H is too big. I’m not sure if I can do a whole size down or if reduced cups would be better.

    • Calluna I've never ordered added depth on the bottoms, because I usually want my boobs to be squished up a bit to fill the top, lol. It's so hard to know what will work when your size fluctuates....Hope you find what works!

    • 1

Yeah, I just need lots of immediate depth for my pendulous breasts. Otherwise the bra will start to move down my chest.

My UK size is about 28G and my shape is projected, FOT, narrow and tall roots, super close-set, soft and self-supporting. The Clara was shown on the website as a lined plunge, and this unlined 3HC is a custom request.

I have a 60K - Comexim » Moulin Rouge 3hc Longline that fits perfectly so I ordered the same size, but the cups of this bra are stretchy and more projected, so I would say it fits like a 28GG.

The cups are narrow, projected and a little bit tall. The gore twists, maybe due to the cups being too big and me being very close-set. I'm not getting much lift from this bra, but I think a cup or 2 smaller would be great.

The appearance is great. I love the Navy lace.

Wow, that is a beautiful bra, one of the prettier Comexims I’ve seen. I have a question, do you think it’s possible to request ANY bra as unlined?! I like the Eris but I hate padding, but not sure they be able to do it. Thank you!

    • thecurvypetite I think it's possible, but I'm not sure, so it's better to email Joanna to ask. :) I find the unlined version a cup bigger than the lined one because of how stretchy the cups are, so you might want to order a cup smaller than usual. They sent me the padded version 60K - Comexim » Clara Half Cup the first time but followed up with the correct order quickly.

    Fits

This is part of my Comexim Black Friday order and I'm so happy with how well it fits! This is my first try with a Comexim unlined bra. My all time favorite unlined bra was Ewa Michalak Czarna Mgielka when I was a 65FF. Now that I need a larger cup size, I can only comfortably wear the Ewa PL and PLM due to my symmastia. So I turned to Comexim! I ordered this bra with the gore reduced by 2cm and added depth at the wire. I have padded plunges from Comexim in 65J, 65K, and 60L that all fit differently, so I tried to go by ... that and measurements while keeping my alterations in mind. I know from making and altering bras that lowering the gore can reduce cup volume and depth/projection, and I need a lot of immediate projection so I asked for the reduced gore and the added depth. I thought they would equally cancel each other out so I went with 65K for sizing. I think with these alterations it would have been perfect in 65J because this one is a tiny bit too big in the cup. It's not uncomfortably big or very noticeable, I will still wear it. I may reorder this one in 65J with the same alterations, but I also have my eye on the Comexim Angel. The mesh is good quality, I don't have any itchiness or rashes like I have experienced with Cleo and Freya mesh bras in the past. It's not quite the Czarna Mgielka, but it's pretty close. The wires are softer, straps are much firmer, band has a lot more stretch, and the top of the cup/lace is looser. If the gore was higher, there would be a lot more support, but I'm used to sacrificing center support for comfort. Overall it's a bra win, and I will definitely be ordering more Comexim unlined bras before summer.

Excellent, glad it worked out for you! And thanks for the detailed review. I’ve been curious to try the comexim unlined bras in the plunge cut. I’ve also wanted to try the extra depth alteration on some Comexims but wasn’t sure if they actually do that alteration, or how to word it to Joanna

    • 3

margesimpson I really like the unlined in the plunge, it's very comfortable! For the wording I wrote in the comments on the order "size 65K, reduced gore 2cm, added depth at the wire." Then when she emailed me to let me know that alterations were non returnable, I agreed and asked to confirm the alterations and she said yes. 7. Onyks Non-padded Half Cup Underwire Bra (CMONYKS)

So, I initially got a 30FF/65H in this bra from Breakout Bras with my birthday discount, and even though I sized down in the band to a 30 from my usual 32 in Comexim due to reports that the band is stretchy, I opted to try the 28G because the cups mostly fit well in the 30FF, but I felt like I might still be able to do a somewhat snugger band. BoB customer service said the smaller band might help the cups hug my breast better as well. Rather than waiting to return the 30FF, I ordered the 28G as it was the last one available.

My ... full review of the 30FF - Comexim » Onyks Non-padded Half Cup Underwire Bra (CMONY for details of the bra and the original fit.

How did this one fit? Better! It’s definitely snugger, and I might have to use and extender if I am going to wear it for longer periods, or just for short periods of time as it relaxes. It’s comfortable as it is, but long term wear and swelling in the day might cause a little pain in my sternum. The cups do seem like they’re fitting a bit better. The only thing I’m unsure about is if the straps are too tight. I actually did not adjust them once on. I think they’re ok, but maybe a tad bit snug. That said, the tension seemed ok after I’d been wearing it for a bit when taking pictures and fit videos to send to BoB and sone bra friends. I don’t think I can size down any further in the cups. Perhaps if I had firmer tissue I might be able to do it, but I am too soft.

    It’s a lovely bra.

I think I’m gonna list the 30FF for a few days or so and see if I get a bite before sending it back.

    *****************************

Just a fit update...it didn’t take long for me to adjust to the snugger band. Like the 65F - Ewa Michalak » Bm Crazy Bra (1174) , it’s comfortably snug, and I can wear it all day. It’s slightly more noticeable during the day, but totally fine. I think that if I had not gone smaller in my snug measurements with the weight loss, it would be harder to adjust. I absolutely love this set, and fear the day that I gain weight again. Lol!

    • 2

Thanks so much. I wonder if straps moved in and reduced gore would fix the gaping. I don’t think that they can reduce cup height in the soft cups but I think it’s possible for them to do reduced gore and straps moved in. I’m going to email and ask because I want to get a Rubin.

    Fits

I think I might have placed one of the earliest Black Friday orders, so I seem to be among the first to receive mine on Bratabase (?) I had/have this exact same bra in 60J and 60K. I think the Basic fits smaller/ shallower than other 3HC models, so this bra fits like a UK 28G.

My shape is projected, FOT, narrow and tall roots, super close-set, soft and self-supporting. I bought this bra because it's a wardrobe staple, and I'm having a floating gore and spillage in the 60K (which I'll list soon).

The band is nice and firm with a stretched measurement of 28", making it true to ... size as a 60 band. The cups are narrow, not very projected but not shallow either, but a little bit tall. When I first tried this bra on, I had this weird gore twisting thing that created a small gap on one side, but after tightening the straps and moving the wires in the wire channels a little, it seemed to go away. When I move my arms, there are gaps. But in general I would say it's a great fit and juuuuust small enough. I think it would fit even better when my bust gets fuller during some parts of my cycle.

Overall, the quality is great for the price!

  9. Treasure Padded Plunge Underwire Bikini Top (CMTREASUR)

My stats: 28H/HH according to ABTF, 26HH according to bratabase, Narrow and tall roots, projected, extremely immediately projected, FOT and 5'3. (Pictures are ood from when I was measuring at a 28G)

Look: This bikini top is a 3-part construction made of white foam, the main two sections are covered in a navy blue stretchy fabric with riching at the bottom, I think this helps make it look more like a bikini and less like a bra. The top section is covered in a teal-turquoise stretchy fabric, both fabrics have a bit of shimmer to them. The gore is partially overlapped and all hardware is silver colored. It ... has a single clasp in the back, so you can't adjust the band.

Fit: This fits like a 26GG/H, so I'd size up a band from your normal comexim size. It's narrow with a lot of immediate projection and moderate apex projection, I get lots of cleavage in this currently and it is super supportive that way, I'm not worried about a nip slip OR falling out. It's just the right level of snug to be active in, I'd almost use this as a sports bra. The straps are closer set than most comexim's, and would probably work for someone with average shoulders.

    Bottoms:
I got both styles of bottoms in M, which is more like S. The high waisted one is unflattering on me because it hits just below my waist, and I lose most definition, they're also quite cheeky. The regular bottoms are very flattering on me and are a bit more full coverage at the back than the high waisted ones. Both have navy blue main fabric with teal-turquoise accents on the sides.

    Overall impression:
This bikini top is adorable, insanely supportive and it gives quite an uplifted, add-2-cups shape in this size for me. The lower rise bottoms are the way to go for me, but the high rise ones could be cute on other people.

This looks lovely! thanks for the review, now you're ready for fun in the sun! : )

    • 2

I got this bikini as well! It looks better on you though. I love how bright the colors are. I did notice the straps are a little more comfortable but I assumed it was the material. I saw they have it in black and the top looks so much like a bra and I'm glad the blues make it look more bikini like.

    • 1

BraOdyssey No problem! 2 down, about 35 to go... lol

    • 2

WildWolff What color did you get? There aren't any pics for it on your profile. And stop it, I'm sure it looks amazing on you!
Yeah, the black looks too much like a bra to me, but my friend converted it into a halter so ut looks less bra-ish

    • 2

marilynne I got the color block top (I forget to check the box to include my pictures, oops!) and I meant to get the matching bottoms but I somehow ordered the sapphire bottoms. I went with the regular style but I wish I had also gotten the high waisted ones. I went back a few days after I got it to get more bottoms and they were all gone in Medium, of course. But I can get bikini bottoms anywhere!

    • 2

I make that mistake all the time! Lol.
I can send you my high waisted bottoms! They're still NWT and I've only tried them on with underwear.

    • 1

marilynne that would be awesome! I got two high waisted bottoms from Target and I like that they hide the part of my stomach I don't like but they're super full coverage and have too much extra fabric at the bottom so they fit weird. I've been looking for something a little more cheeky. I got mine in the mail and thought they sent me the wrong ones so I checked my order and realized it was my own mistake lol

    • 1

WildWolff I hate it when that happens! Everything looks different online! I keep sending you swimwear, lol! I think this is like #6 lmao.

    Didn't fit

This is a fantastic quality bra, but I had to return it, unfortunately, because it was one cup size too small : / So, 1 cup size too small def gives extra "omph"/cleavage! (as described under the BreakoutBras.com/collections/comexim reviews). *I actually added this bra last April, but I'm just getting around to reviewing it now. So, this is how V.S. fits bras on their models (if not several more cup sizes smaller than they should be, lol).

As you can see from the side pictures, the underwires are probably 1.5 inches from my IMF. Perhaps it appears wearable, but it's not super comfy for me to ... have the underwires so far away from my IMF - I mean, I can make do with a small gap, but for long-term wear, the cup is just too small for everyday comfort. But I have to say - I've never been able to pull off this look before! Like Betty Boop boobs!

So, if one is looking to just have a "cleavage boost," then a smaller cup size would work. My stats: FOB, projected, narrow roots with average root height, close-set and centre-full breasts.

Other than the fit, just one cup size larger would've been a better fit, the fabric is very soft and silky (not unlike Comexim Lily?) and I love the appearance of the bra. The little bow in the center was a contrasting colour (light grey), and I appreciate how the design of Comexim is 360 degrees, because some brands have completely plain backs, but with Comexim the backs are always pretty as well. Lovely quality.

  11. Hot Chocolate Plunge

I got this bra about 2 months ago, as a birthday present to myself, lol, but have not gotten around to reviewing it. Which is good b/c I have multi-purposes for it now. Spoiler: I actually wear this bra to go JOGGING - not training for a marathon or anything, but just light jogging. And it keeps the girls in place, as any well-fitting sports bra does. Are these bras versatile, or what?

I first saw this bra from u/Sonya's profile pic and I knew that I had to have it! But then I learned that it's probably not the best colour for my skin tone, as it ... has WARM tones, and my skin is cool-toned, with lots of pink. So, if you're an Autumn (https://www.colormebeautiful.com/seasons/findyourseason.html), this would be a great colour for you - but it's also one of those "bridesmaid dress" colours - it doesn't look terrible on anyone. It does have a lot of warm tones, and it does evoke feelings of crisp autumn nights w/warm hot chocolate. The inside lining and the straps are dark brown, and there is an attractive middle ribbon with two shades of brown to tie the design together.

I love the construction on this bra!! The fit on the side is *perfect* for my narrow roots and close-set breasts; you can see in this picture https://www.bratabase.com/picture/dmarj/ with the arrows. The wings are just tall enough where they tuck in my back fat; the wire length is good for me as well. I would say I have average root height.

I'm not sure when exactly I decided to try out light jogging in this bra: I was probably walking and thought, "I should try jogging in this bra." I've kind of sized out of my current sports bra, and this one is so easy to put on. So, I've actually found that this bra works fine for light jogging; I might try adding something called the "boob buddy" but it's currently out of stock. I'm getting my use out of this bra though! It's made from such firm material - that's the fun with Comexim, each of the fabrics are different. Sometimes I still wear it as a normal bra as well.

TL; DR, This bra has an amazing fit and construction but I've sacrificed it to be sometimes a jogging bra (light jogging only!); this bra would look amazing if you have some warm skin tones, which I do not have. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful bra! Hashtag, #ThanksComexim!!

I’ve never thought about wearing my bras as a sports bra, mind is blown lol. It makes perfect sense tho. The power of a well fitting bra that plays many rolls, what a win.

    • Lol. Maybe I like it b/c the construction fits so well on the side, idk. I'm thinking of adding this https://www.amazon.ca/Boobuddy-Adjustable-Breast-Support-Alternative/dp/B079X3CSQT to see if it works even better, lol.

    • 1

I love this bra. I’m super sad about my 70H being too big since I have lost quite a bit of weight this year, and it was already borderline big with the alterations. I’m really trying to figure out what size I need to reorder it in now (I'm trying some other Comexims now in smaller sizes to help before I order directly from Comexim).

    • 1

Calluna , thank u, this bra is excellent construction! I love how Comexim does their designs 360 degrees, and I definitely think they build their bras to last! If you have some warm tones to your skin, this would look stunning on you; congrats on the weight loss!

    • 1

Yeah I’m a bit warmer toned, I think. I think it’s a good match for me. Here’s the fit from last December when I was around 135 pounds.

      http://bra.pe/IsgJ/

I’m about 117 now. But I have not actively tried to lose weight. It’s been a combination of things, including some health issues. I wish my boobs had not also shrunk.

The alteration was made for reduced cups, by the person I got the bra from. There is a slight difference in cup width (which feels a bit too narrow for me in the first few minutes of wearing and then, it feels okay) and height but the cup depth is the same as the other 55HH 3HCs.
The material is great, it feels sturdy, smooth. No itchiness at all. It's surprisingly breathable.

It's a pretty bra, not really my type but it does look great on. The band is snug and works for me, I'm more of a true 26 band, I think. The hooks are 2 by ... 3, some bras I have are 2 by 3, some are 2 by 4. I'm not sure why they're not all the same.

I have conical, functionally short roots with even fullness and it fits like a dream. When I bend over, there's slight quadding but that's just because it is the tiniest bit smaller to give the cakes on a plate look. Yep, that's what my breasts look like when there's an oomph effect.

I have nothing negative to say about this bra, only that the seams and outline show through a shirt slightly but that's to be expected. I just wouldn't ask the alteration for reduced cups if I was ordering from comexim directly.

    • 2

margesimpson Thank you 😊 I think this pattern/colour would look great on you too! It would definitely complement your skin tone and add some contrast. All the comexims I got were a win but I don't wanna spam the feed with my reviews 😂

Congrats on the Comexim bra success!

This is another one of those Comexims that I never would have picked on their website, but looks so much nicer in person!!

    • 2

bubblegum thank you! 😊 That's so true! A lot of them don't look that great on the website but look great on the reviews, fit checks and stuff!

  13. Matthiola 3hc (633)

About me: FOB, short roots, pendulous, soft tissue, narrowish to average width roots, narrow shoulders, centre full, and close set.

This bra is beautiful! My photos don’t do it justice. It’s a lovely pastel pattern with some grey details. The straps and band are grey. The tops of the cups are edged with a thin strip of pink shiny material that’s a nice subtle detail. It is a 3 part half cup and the seams are a bit more prominent than the other 3HCs I’ve tried. So this would not work well for light coloured thin tops. This doesn’t bother me though.

The material is quite soft and ... silky and the band is TTS, not as firm as some other Comexims I’ve tried. (I measured it 33” bit I think it stretches to 34” I just didn’t want to distort the wires). I had the straps moved in 1 inch as I’ve done with others, and it works well for my narrow sloping shoulders.

The fit works well for me and it’s super comfy, as per usual for Comexim 3HCs. I’m addicted!

BraOdyssey it is so soft! Forgot to mention it took 3 weeks to ship this time, faster than the last time

    • 2

Wow! This is one of those bras that I wouldn't have given a second glance on the website but your photos made me want it. The detail looks much better and I love the color and that added pink detail on the edge is so pretty. These are better than the stock photos. And it looks comfortable!

    • 2

WildWolff thanks! It took me a few tries to get photos that capture the colours LOL. I actually wouldn’t have considered this type of pattern normally, but since it’s one of the standard 3HCs that I love I thought why not

    • 2

Looks fabulous on you! Love the color! I’m a sucker for grey on a bra. Especially the straps.

      Thanks Happy2BraShop I’m also a sucker for grey :)

    70L

    Hasn't set fit

So while it's mid-summer, a belated review for my (heavily discounted) Comexim bikini via BreakOutBras!
Got it in early May, but only remembered to review it when I first wore it out to swim recently.
There's still quite a few sizes available, $18 for the top and $8 for the bottoms.

It is a final sale item; so kind of a gamble, but I actually really like this bikini!
The fit is firm, well-contained and yet comfortable, the cups are kind of stretchy (despite being lined), so they conform well to the breast shape.

My regular Comexim size (70K) was not available, and I had previously been wondering whether to size up ... to 70L in Comexims.
So I tried that, both for this bikini and the 70L - Comexim » Piume Blu (CMPIUMEB), and it seems to have worked out well!

FYI, *edit: at least for my size*; the conversion BreakOutBras uses basically means that their listed 'US size' is the Comexim direct order size.
So in this case, UK 32HH - US 32L means Comexim 70L.

Despite this being unaltered, the strap placement doesn't bother me as much as I feared.
The gore is too high for me though, and kind of pokes into breast tissue. It sort of tilts/flips between my cleavage, which is a common fit issue for me.
However, that would bother me more if it was a bra intended for daily wear, rather than a bikini.

The straps are pretty wide, which I like: they're 2 cm. and quite chunky.
The underband measures kind of short unstretched, but has a LOT of give.
Cups are deep and narrow-ish, but not too rigid; so they don't poke too badly on the sides.

    Hmm what else...
Oh right: the matching briefs are cute too, I got the high-waisted in L and the shorts in XL - which was a case of availability but turned out to be a great choice. Be aware though that the high waist briefs are very full-coverage in the back! Might be a plus or downside, depending on your preference. For reference, my butt/hips measure 43/44 inch / 110 cm. and my waist is 31/32-ish.

All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase! It feels like good quality swimwear that should last, though I've currently only used it once.
Almost tempted to also try the Showcase, but I don't really need it.. Unless I start a daily swimming schedule haha.

Also, this bikini + Piume Blue were a good 'diagnostic' to confirm my suspicion that for Comexim I'm kind of in-between 70K and 70L - especially when ordered directly (with my preferred alteration of straps moved in), in plunges I'd either need a 70K with added projection, or a 70L. And *definitely* a 70L (or up) in 3HC styles! My 70K Wildcat and Miss Bee-have are definitely toooo small.

I think BOB sold out of them now, I couldn’t find any. Ah well. I probably didn’t need to buy it anyway lol

    • margesimpson thanks!
And weird - I actually checked today when I wrote the review?

I did do an active search ('Comexim bikini') rather than browse through their stuff, maybe that makes a difference?

    • 1

    • 1

bubblegum oh thanks for linking! It’s weird when I look under comexims it’s not there and when I looked under swimsuits it’s not there. They must just have it under sale LOL

    • 2

Loooovvveee iiitttt! This is by far the best bikini I’ve ever had, and it looks great on you! If you’re having tiny fit issues, they definitely don’t show. Love how It holds up well in the water. I also got mine on clearance, what a savings! I just wish I could have gotten the top in the aqua color, but they were out of my size.

    • Yesss Happy2BraShop it's such an excellent and affordable bikini!! Hope you'll enjoy it for many many swims to come!

Likewise; I was (ok, still secretly am..) so tempted to buy multiple colors in whatever available sister-sizes! Especially Peacock.

I actually just investigated my way into the Peacock swim bottoms (that are sold out through Breakoutbras) - they're available directly through Comexim; but they're misspelled Paecock! So tempting... So unnecessary... But such a great product!

  15. Charme Plunge Bra (415)

    10/10/10, Beauty/Quality/Comfort.

It's too bad that [society dictates] that I have to put a shirt over this! Lol. It's so pretty!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this bra - I didn't think I could wear it until Fall/Winter, I thought it would be too hot. What was I thinking? It's totally summer-wearable.

I put it on yesterday, and gave it a trial run. I did not want to take this bra off!! I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but THIS BRA IS SO COMFORTABLE!!

So, this would be my #1 Comfortable bra right now, granted I am little bit between sizes (I know I ... said that about the Comexim Arizona, but I hadn't given this one a trail run) despite the fact that it has thicker padding (the same thickness as the Comexim basic has), which made me think that I couldn't wear it until Fall.

So now I'm thinking re: the Comexim Basic plunge, maybe it does run .5 - 1 cup small, as the Charme cups fit me the most comfortably right now. (disclaimer: it's for sure the same pattern, I believe it's just the way the materials are).

Also, regarding it's value, this is alllllll that I want in a bra: Comexim Charme is both *supportive* and comfortable - I don't know how they do it!

Living in Canada, sometimes our bras are more expensive than in the US. For example, a local boutique sells Prima donna brand for $170-180 to $200 per bra (including tax). That's not on sale, but...you get the picture.

I was thinking yesterday when I was wearing this bra: I don't see how a $200 bra could be any better. Finding a good bra like this really improves your day! And I've only learned that recently!!

The only alteration that I might request the next time is to move the straps in 2cm. I'm thinking that might improve the mild gaping I have on my smaller side (right side), which I do not even notice when I'm wearing the bra. My shirt will cover over it, and it's not a big deal.

I know I'm going to write this, and then there might be some people who can't find a good bra - due to uncommon sizing, or figuring out alterations, etc - I'm sorry : ( : ((((cyber hug from Canada))))

150zloty, so that's $39.18 usd (plus $5.75 shipping). I believe they traditionally have a Black Friday sale, 20% off, so save your pennies people! Definitely this bra is worth it. I could not wait for black Friday, because I needed some bras now : )

That is super cute! I love the detail on the top of the cup. It looks perfect on you!

    • 1

thank you, Happy2BraShop . I actually look a little bit pale in black (like you can kind of see how pale it makes me look on my sports bra review), and was hoping Charme would read more gray. However, because of the black lining, it does read more black, but that's okay. It's still beautiful, it's not *the best* colour on my skin, but still beautiful : )

I mean, I own something crazy like 11 gray sweaters (last time I checked). I also wear a lot of neutrals. Most of my wardrobe is neutrals, lol.

    • 1

BraOdyssey Haha majority of my clothes are gray. I’ve been branching out and getting tee shirts in actual colors recently. Black looks harsh on me. Definitely not my best color. I’m a gray, gray-blue, navy, jade or sea foam green, mauve, kind of gal lol. I think I’m a Classic muted Summer complexion. If I ever find a sea foam green bra, oh it’s on.

    • 1

Looks great on you! Congrats on another Comexim win!
I’ve read other very positive reviews of the charme, hmm I may consider trying this one!

    • 1

Just looking at other pictures of the charme, it looks like they changed/simplified the design, interesting

    • Happy2BraShop , hmm, that's interesting. I can't remember what summer that I am...I might be a soft summer, too. I'm not a light summer, as I don't have blonde hair. But I have hazel eyes, the same as Steve Carell from the Office, basically. And medium brown hair. It might look dark brown in the pictures, but it's really just medium.

The sea foam green is kind of why I like 70HH - Comexim » Pearl Flower Mint Plunge Bra (390) but I don't think this is really your aesthetic (*kind of floral) a little old-fashioned maybe.

This conversation reminds me of this Robin Egg Blue bra I saw ("the Pru" I think it's called) on Little Cup Big Cup Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhguuuynFSh/ Not sure if this bra really has projection, it doesn't look like the best fit on her.

    • 1

margesimpson , thank u!! The fit might be *perfect* if I requested 2 cm move-in of the straps.

From what I can tell, I think it's still the same design. It just looks so different in low light. This girl got a way bigger bow than me, lol. https://www.bratabase.com/picture/dn9rr/

    • Happy2BraShop , oh it's called "Duck Egg" https://www.adinareay.com/products/pru-duck-egg-plunge-bra

Kind of an odd shape of bra though.

    • 1

Haha yeah I’ve seen some with a gigantic bow

    • margesimpson , now that I look at it - I guess I got sort of *the end* of the flowery lace (on the top of the cup) But my flowers are not perfectly centered...that's okay I still love it.

    • 1

BraOdyssey i think it’s that they used less lace? I actually like yours better :)

    • 1

I'm so happy for you, borderline jealous :') but even if some of don't have a perfect fit bra like this, we're definitely gonna be happy for people who do have a bra like this! Also, it does look comfy and pretty on you!

    • 1

thank you, MeeM_13 . The funny thing is, two of the plunges I got (I ordered 3 in total) Arizona & Pearl Mint Plunge - do not gape on my smaller side. Hmm.

they both have the thinner padding. They also were less expensive than Charme (the bra above).

So, when I do the next review, I'm going to mention how the two different types of padding (thinner and thicker) fit differently.

I probably could have gone with 2 cm straps moved in for this size...but if my weight changes again, it will be different, LOL >

    • 1

BraOdyssey huh, very interesting! I did not know they had two different thicknesses when it came to their padded bras! Can't wait to read the next reviews.

  16. Whimsy Floral (CMWHIMSY)

    I first purchased this bra in a 65J (30GG).
    Review here: http://bra.pe/X2LR/
Unfortunately this 65J ran big in the cup compared to the moulded cup bras.

Winner winner chicken dinner. So I originally tried this in the 65J, so this 70HH (32G) would be the sister size to the original. In the past I had good luck with a sister size due to the proportion fitting better in the cup. Well this was a good sister size transition. The band fits on the tightest set of hooks and I’m willing to have the band taken in when it relaxes since I really do need a 65. ... The cups on this bra are about half an inch smaller at the armpit compacted to the 65J, making it less wide set so it doesn’t eat my armpits like it’s evil sister. I’m happy I gave it a second go for a better fit.

Panties: In the past I purchased a size Medium in Comexim panties. But for this the only size available was a size Large. I’m glad I went with it. The panties are a lower cut, so the large doesn’t cut into my body and lays flat under clothing. The front panel consists of the same print as the bra with matching lace on the hip panels. The back of the panties are the same silky fabric but in white. The elastic on the panties is white and there is a white cotton gusset in the crotch.

This looks like a very nice spring/summer bra! I love Comexim, but there can be some back and forth getting the sizing right?

    • 1

BraOdyssey This is definitely a light weight Spring/Summer bra. I also love Comexim, but the inconsistency keeps me away sometimes. It’s really a crapshoot with the sizing. You can get two of the same bra and they can be made totally different. But when you find one that fits, it’s like striking gold.

    • 2

Happy2BraShop , girl that is the best strategy ever!! I am 100% doing that the next time I order from Bob (ordering two sizes in Comexim to compare)..I wish I had done that with my last order, but I didn't think of it. It takes too long to get bras back and forth since I'm in Canada. Next time, I will do this for sure, I loved this bra but I needed a size up to compare. https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dnge4/

This looks great on you! I'm glad the sister size works better. Those bottoms looks so comfortable too! If you're willing to share, what are your hips at the widest? I think I'm between M and L in some cuts for Comexim bottoms.

    • Wilderness1 They are actually the most comfortable Comexim panties I’ve gotten yet. Right now my hips/butt at the widest are 40 inches, I put the panties on and right around where the waistband is, I measure 36 inches. If I run the measuring tape from the middle of the back, down between my legs and up the front, the panties measure 20 inches.

BraOdyssey That one is so pretty! I love any bras that have gray on them. Especially straps. I wear a lot of gray tops lol.

Are these still available somewhere in that size range or did you order it a while ago? I was interested in this model and didn't move on buying it fast enough and it seems like Breakout Bras doesn't have much left in terms for 70/32 bands.

    • 1

Is it available on Comexim.pl? It might just be the nursing one available on the Comexim website - I think this was breakout bras exclusive.

I don't know if they're discontinuing this model (sorry, I'm kind of answering for Happy2BraShop) but I noticed about a month ago - they seemed to get low in stock on this bra, and then they replenished.

So, I'm wondering if they will restock this bra? maybe you could email support@breakoutbras.com

    • 1

aquilegia , BraOdyssey said it perfectly. I just got this one in the mail yesterday from Breakout Bras, but Comexim’s website has it for sale as “Sweet Flower Nursing” I believe. Definitely ask Breakout Bras if they can obtain one for you. If not, I’m sure Comexim can always be asked if they can make a non nursing version of the bra for you.

Happy2BraShop thanks for that reference on sizing! Very helpful!

    Didn't fit

I tried this bra in 28H (60K) and really loved it but needed to go up a size so I tried this one, 28HH (60L). I should have gone up to a 28J (60M). I still have quadboob. I’m disappointed because I love this bra. It’s really comfortable! I was going to try the 28J but breakout bras didn’t have it in stock and Stephanie told me that they wouldn’t be stocking more of this bra. I’m kind of worried to size up more anyway because then I’m afraid I’ll run into issues with the wires being too tall/wide. I am considering ordering directly from Comexim and asking for added depth. Is it worth it? If I ask for added depth, would this size (60L) be enough?

Hmm, interesting. It looks like (from some of the pictures) + 1 cup size and added depth at the wire? Or would that be overkill? I didn't know Comexim had this bra on their website. I tried this bra on as well -it's totally my colours - but I couldn't quite figure out the sizing.

    • 2

I know a lot of reviews said they love this bra though - that it was super comfy, so maybe I missed out, lol.

    • 2

BraOdyssey UMM they may not even have it on their site lol I didn’t check 😂

I'm sad for you about the fit of this beautiful bra, damaries !

  18. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

I like this bra, and I bought two more of the same colour/same size! I guess I am a boring person like that (looks at Sonya's colourful bra collection...), but I got to have something to keep the girls covered! I thought about ordering the Megan Plunge, https://www.bratabase.com/browse/comexim/megan-plunge-653/, just to have this same style in a different colour, but then I also read that their black bras can run tight?? and I didn't want to risk it not fitting, when I really need a few good-fitting bras a.t.m.

My shape: FOB, projected, both narrow roots with average root height, centre-full.

Some thoughts on ... this bra: since I live in Canada, I'm thinking this bra will do well as a 3-season bra - fall, winter, spring. Since it is a padded bra, I'm thinking I might want something lighter for the summertime, but if I lived in a hot climate, this might only work as a winter bra...not sure. I did live in California for nine years (the central valley) and I probably wouldn't wear this type of bra in the 100F+ summer weather, I just would sweat too much.

As soon as I tried on this bra, I was like, "I will take two," it fits that well, lol. Of course, I'm comparing to the poorly fitting 32DD/34DD bras from V.S. that I was stuffing myself into before I discovered by ABTF size, sooo...this is obviously much better.

There is a handy dandy app now, created by Reddit users u/mathandplants, u/EuphoricToe1, and u/winsbe01, that helps one convert her UK size ---->Comexim size, or her UK size ------> Comexim bra size when ordering from Breakout Bras (if that makes sense...if any ? ask below) Here is a link to that app http://comeximcalc.herokuapp.com/

Of note: on the Breakout Bras website, they recommend "sizing up" 1 or 2 cup sizes. According to ABTF mods, this is a bit simplified; depending on what one's cup size is, she should size up 1,2,3, or even 4 cups sizes. Honestly, now that the app has been invented-- as long as one has determined her accurate UK bra size--I think it's better to use the app as a starting point, and she shouldn't be that far off for Comexim sizing. Those are my thoughts on sizing!!

It can be confusing when ordering Comexim bras from Breakout Bras since they use different labels.

I find this bra to be very comfortable and supportive, I like what it does to my posture. Furthermore, the colour works well as nude, and it doesn't show through any of my clothing, even a very thin shirt. At first I thought it was a little itchy, but it doesn't really bother me anymore. At this price point, I have very few complaints about this bra; I recommend it for people who are a similar shape/size as me.

disclaimer: from my opening paragraph, I'm not saying this bra is boring in any way. It has a simple aesthetic that I enjoy. It's understated. Plus, it works for me b/c I wear a lot of thin shirts (in Canada, yes...the heat is always pumping), and this bra doesn't show through colour or texture: in my opinion, it's a good workhorse bra. I think this also doubles a T-shirt bra for me.

Your jokes crack me up “I guess I’m a boring person” lol. Not boring, we all have our preferences and what works for us! Glad this worked out for you. I think you’re assessment is accurate that you’re likely not as FOB/short rooted as you thought if this works for you. Yay comexim win!

    • 2

margesimpson , ha ha, idk (re: short roots vs. average roots). Maybe I should post it as a fit question...I feel like I have a bit of chest b4 my breasts start, but I wonder this plunge style just lifts my boobs up so much that it kind of fills out the top part.

Even just a few years ago, I think I was more FOT, but then I kinda lost some weight, so I'm definitely more FOB, not that you asked (I feel like I have to add that disclaimer every time ; )

    • 1

BraOdyssey I should use that disclaimer too cause you didn’t ask my opinion but I gave it anyway lol
I’m no expert, so I should probably stay quiet lol

    • 1

margesimpson , no worries!! your opinion is always appreciated by me!

  19. Rita Plunge Bra (414)

    60K

    Didn't fit

    My stats for reference:

5'3,  26HH, FOT, tall and narrow roots, center full, projected, average to high set.

    Look:
I was so worried that it would look trashy, but it doesn't! I look at this set and I think of either a high-end stripper or a Russian spy with a lipstick tazer in a James Bond movie, lol. It's just so sexy! The red eyelash lace is showstopping. The gore is higher than I expected, and the "C" charm is much more subtle (thank god). It doesn't pass the white t-shirt test. The garter belt was plain black and rather disappointing, there were no decorations or red ribbons over ... the clips as shown in the stock photo.

    Fit:
Rita Rita Rita.... So pretty, but such a weird fit. This bra is kind of shallow, with little projection at the wire. I'd asked for 1cm added depth at the wire and 3x4 hooks for this and the beauty. Nether were completed on either bra. So the Rita might have actually been slightly too big if it had enough projection at the wire. My boobs are forced upwards in the cup and I only have a little bit of quadding on my larger side. The gore lays as flat as a Comexim gore can. The band is TTS. They sent me a size small panty instead of a medium (I ordered a S belt and M panty, since my waist is 25" and my hips are 38") I doubt that they'll fit, I'm going to hold off on trying them on until I decide if I'mkeeping the set or not. They are a true thong though and not Comexim's usual "Cheeky" that passes for a thong. The garter belt was loose on my waist, even on the tightest hook, there's no way it could hold up stockings. I'dprobablyhave to use the silicone banded kind. Overall, this was neither a bra win nor a bra bust. I haven't decided if I'm keeping the set yet.

If only the garter belt had a holster for your lipstick taser...

That lace is gorgeous. Too bad the fit is not quite what you hoped.

  20. Beauty Half Cup (since 2015 Version) (355)

    6
    like

    60K

    Fits

Stats for reference: FOT, centre full, close & low set, soft tissue, short & narrow roots, and projected.

    Look:
This 3HC beauty is honestly a true beauty! It's a light cream bra with elegant black lace overlay - a truly timeless piece https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The lace covers the cups and wraps around the sides of the bra with an eyelash lace finish just under my arms. It is relatively smooth under clothes so super versatile. It offers more coverage than other (non-comexim) half cups I've tried in the past; beauty has more of a V-shape neckline (highest point of the cups by the straps) while ... others tend to have more of a scoop/ square-neckline (cups are about the same height/ straight across the chest). The V-shape neckline lends itself to more support and the bra is so beautiful I don't mind the extra coverage at all https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Fit:
I've had good experiences with vertical seamed half cups (e.g. EM CHP, Masquerade Rhea, CK Ritzy) and they all give me lovely cakes-on-a-plate style aesthetics with a rounded side profile (that I am addicted to). When I first tried the beauty, I was a little confused with the fit as it seemed to minimise my chest (flatten and spread cup volume over a wider area) more so than my other half cups with no 'cakes-on-a-plate'. HOWEVER, as the beauty has comfy, wide straps I could shorten them a lot more than other bras. As a consquence, this lifted my chest higher than I ever knew they could go and revealed 'cakes-on-a-plate' with buttcrack cleavage (I had to do a double take because they looked like I had had breast augmentation!) and a nice round side profile. One cup does quad a little on my larger side but I'm also on the fuller part of my cycle at the moment so this should not be a problem.

TL;DR = Why I get amazing aesthetics in this bra?
    1) BAND - I've gone from 32 bands (pre-ABTF journey) to mainly wearing 30/ 28 bands now. After feeling the support in this beauty's band I think small 28 or 26 bands are ideal for me.
    2) STRAPS - Wide straps make such a massive difference! Shortening them lifted my bust super high without hurting my shoulders to give the 'cakes-on-a-plate' look ( I think this is the main reason I can't shorten the straps of my other halfcups to reach the same aesthetic comfortably). I also think that having the straps moved in 1cm helped as they do not irritate my Spence's tail.
    3) GORE - The gore is overlapped and incredibly narrow on this bra which is great for my close-set chest and give the 'buttcrack cleavage' look. However I do still see it sit on my breast tissue slightly... I think that's due to my breast tissue being literally next to each other (essentially no separation) so probably not much I could do about it. Perhaps trying stronger underwires might be an option?
Overall, I get the same 'cakes-on-a-plate' and rounded side profile in this bra as my other vertical seamed half cups. It is comfier and provides more support while also slightly minimising. The amount of uplift I get in this bra beats all my other bras and I'm excited to try a comexim plunge style that fits (which I think would offer more projection).

Beauty is really a beauty. The Comexim half cups are a bit more minimizing than the plunges but the shape is still really nice and sometimes it works better than others under certain tops.

You're so welcome! And thank you for writing a thorough review, It's an amazing resource for all of us. This review will help at least one person decide to buy the beauty or not :)

    • 2

Calluna Thanks, I've bought a plunge in (what I think) is my size so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it works out :)

marilynne No problem, I hope so too!
