  1. This is my most comfortable Comexim bra. I’m not sure why, perhaps the projection is just right for me? Along with the low gore perhaps? Whatever it is, I’m desperately trying to replicate it lol!

This bra is a typical Comexim plunge three part cup lined with a thin layer of foam. The band is a strong but stretchy enough beige material similar to the basic plunge, with a layer of black mesh. The cups are also beige with black mesh overlay and the crazy lace and ruffles at the top.

This bra absolutely shows up under all but the thickest tops. This was disappointing, especially because it fits me so well. But it is a very inexpensive bra so I don’t regret buying it.

Side note; I’m not fond of the light beige showing through either. I’m hoping that someday Comexim will start using fabrics for us darker skinned folks.

This looks fabulous on you! Super cute!

    • 1

      Thanks Happy2BraShop :) it’s sooo comfortable

    • 1

Ooh, I've been looking for a comfortable plunge bra! I may have to get this one. I usually wear a layering tank top under a shirt if the material shows through and I'm going to work. If it's not work related then I don't really mind my bra showing a little. Although the ruffled edges on the cups look like they might give a lumpy boob look under shirts and I don't want that lol I wonder if it's easy to remove that fabric or if it would mess up the lace.

    • 1

WildWolff I didn’t even think of that! Great idea :) I’ll take a closer look and see if removing the ruffles is doable

    • 1

Hmmm interesting! Does this fit like a true 34 band? I own this in a 55 band and it is definitely more like a “25 band.” I observe that when a bra is comfortable, it also looks great! This is certainly the case here 😃 it looks great on you!

    • thecurvypetite thank you :)
I think It does fit like a true 34 band, maybe closer to 33 which I can tolerate since I have some “squish” lol.

I think Comexim band sizes run differently depending on the size range. I find the 75s are usually true to size but I’ve heard that smaller bands tend to be tight. Funny, I think it’s the opposite with Ewa Michalak bras, just to be more confusing haha

    • 1

WildWolff so I took a close look at how it’s sewn at the top and I don’t think removing the ruffles is doable. It’s attached to the layer of lace and to the cups foam, with two different seams. I think it might ruin the bra if I tried lol, plus my sewing skills are rudimentary at best

    • 1

margesimpson thanks for following up on that. Seems like it's a well made bra! I don't think my intermediate sewing skills could tackle it either. But the comfort and low gore interest me so I added it to my wishlist.

    Hasn't set fit

This bra is to die for! Black mesh over a beige background, lashings of floral and scalloped lace, pleated ribbon edging and a gigantic satin center bow. The straps have a slight glossy sheen in the center and gold hardware. It’s romantic, sexy, and a little vintage looking… the quality is excellent and all the details make this bra look more expensive than it really is. I was worried about how the bottoms would fit, as Comexim seems to run on the smaller side and I’m quite paranoid about panties digging into my fleshy sides. However, the matching thong in medium was a good fit on my 36” ... hips, and together with the bra it really makes for a beautiful set!

The fit by all accounts is true to size for a standard 60J. The band felt extremely firm when I first tried it on, but after a couple wears it’s much more comfortable, sitting snug and totally parallel around my back. It has four sets of hooks rather than three, which is a nice option to have as far as extending the lifespan of your bra. The way the ribbon is gathered and stitched along the top of the cup doesn't close it off, the way that the ribbon on Brigitte does, for example. It will show faintly beneath thin, non-opaque shirts, but on the whole it's remarkably smooth beneath heavier t-shirts and dresses.

Like my other unaltered Comexim plunges, I could do with a bit more center projection, or maybe a lowered gore; the gore tacks at the bottom but refuses to touch my sternum at the top. However, when I do press it fully against my chest, there’s no quadding (I’ve included pictures of this for reference https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The black mesh wrinkles just a bit at the sides of the cup on my smaller side where there is just some slight emptiness, but overall the cup volume seems pretty perfect.

That is one beautiful bra. I am blaming you for my comexim purchase :p

    • 1

I was unsure about this bra when I saw it on Comexim's website, but seeing it on you it looks amazing. I think I might need to get one now.

    • Did you special request the 4x fastener?

    • Thank you SiliconeJulie and amandafire! You guys won't regret it! Haha. BronteBeach no, I didn't. I ordered without any alterations at all... at first I thought it was just a feature of Comexim's new collection, but now looking at the other bras' measurements it looks like mine was a fluke!

    • That looks awesome on you! I ordered the matching set and had the bra altered to be a longline. I'm waiting for it to arrive and now I'm even more excited for it :)

    • Ah ok! I have it in 60HH so I was just wondering cause mine has only 3x2 fastener^^
      Lucky you :)

    • I love the Charme, it's definitely on my wishlist as well! Looks great on you :)

    • Would this be a good fit for 28GG, or should I move to 60K? Thank you!

    • bubblepop this one fits more like a 28G, so I'd probably suggest sticking with a 60K!

    • Thank you!

  3. 10/10/10, Beauty/Quality/Comfort.

It's too bad that [society dictates] that I have to put a shirt over this! Lol. It's so pretty!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this bra - I didn't think I could wear it until Fall/Winter, I thought it would be too hot. What was I thinking? It's totally summer-wearable.

I put it on yesterday, and gave it a trial run. I did not want to take this bra off!! I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but THIS BRA IS SO COMFORTABLE!!

So, this would be my #1 Comfortable bra right now, granted I am little bit between sizes (I know I ... said that about the Comexim Arizona, but I hadn't given this one a trail run) despite the fact that it has thicker padding (the same thickness as the Comexim basic has), which made me think that I couldn't wear it until Fall.

So now I'm thinking re: the Comexim Basic plunge, maybe it does run .5 - 1 cup small, as the Charme cups fit me the most comfortably right now. (disclaimer: it's for sure the same pattern, I believe it's just the way the materials are).

Also, regarding it's value, this is alllllll that I want in a bra: Comexim Charme is both *supportive* and comfortable - I don't know how they do it!

Living in Canada, sometimes our bras are more expensive than in the US. For example, a local boutique sells Prima donna brand for $170-180 to $200 per bra (including tax). That's not on sale, but...you get the picture.

I was thinking yesterday when I was wearing this bra: I don't see how a $200 bra could be any better. Finding a good bra like this really improves your day! And I've only learned that recently!!

The only alteration that I might request the next time is to move the straps in 2cm. I'm thinking that might improve the mild gaping I have on my smaller side (right side), which I do not even notice when I'm wearing the bra. My shirt will cover over it, and it's not a big deal.

I know I'm going to write this, and then there might be some people who can't find a good bra - due to uncommon sizing, or figuring out alterations, etc - I'm sorry : ( : ((((cyber hug from Canada))))

150zloty, so that's $39.18 usd (plus $5.75 shipping). I believe they traditionally have a Black Friday sale, 20% off, so save your pennies people! Definitely this bra is worth it. I could not wait for black Friday, because I needed some bras now : )

That is super cute! I love the detail on the top of the cup. It looks perfect on you!

    • 1

thank you, Happy2BraShop . I actually look a little bit pale in black (like you can kind of see how pale it makes me look on my sports bra review), and was hoping Charme would read more gray. However, because of the black lining, it does read more black, but that's okay. It's still beautiful, it's not *the best* colour on my skin, but still beautiful : )

I mean, I own something crazy like 11 gray sweaters (last time I checked). I also wear a lot of neutrals. Most of my wardrobe is neutrals, lol.

    • 1

BraOdyssey Haha majority of my clothes are gray. I’ve been branching out and getting tee shirts in actual colors recently. Black looks harsh on me. Definitely not my best color. I’m a gray, gray-blue, navy, jade or sea foam green, mauve, kind of gal lol. I think I’m a Classic muted Summer complexion. If I ever find a sea foam green bra, oh it’s on.

    • 1

Looks great on you! Congrats on another Comexim win!
I’ve read other very positive reviews of the charme, hmm I may consider trying this one!

    • 1

Just looking at other pictures of the charme, it looks like they changed/simplified the design, interesting

    • Happy2BraShop , hmm, that's interesting. I can't remember what summer that I am...I might be a soft summer, too. I'm not a light summer, as I don't have blonde hair. But I have hazel eyes, the same as Steve Carell from the Office, basically. And medium brown hair. It might look dark brown in the pictures, but it's really just medium.

The sea foam green is kind of why I like 70HH - Comexim » Pearl Flower Mint Plunge Bra (390) but I don't think this is really your aesthetic (*kind of floral) a little old-fashioned maybe.

This conversation reminds me of this Robin Egg Blue bra I saw ("the Pru" I think it's called) on Little Cup Big Cup Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhguuuynFSh/ Not sure if this bra really has projection, it doesn't look like the best fit on her.

    • 1

margesimpson , thank u!! The fit might be *perfect* if I requested 2 cm move-in of the straps.

From what I can tell, I think it's still the same design. It just looks so different in low light. This girl got a way bigger bow than me, lol. https://www.bratabase.com/picture/dn9rr/

    • Happy2BraShop , oh it's called "Duck Egg" https://www.adinareay.com/products/pru-duck-egg-plunge-bra

Kind of an odd shape of bra though.

    • 1

Haha yeah I’ve seen some with a gigantic bow

    • margesimpson , now that I look at it - I guess I got sort of *the end* of the flowery lace (on the top of the cup) But my flowers are not perfectly centered...that's okay I still love it.

    • 1

BraOdyssey i think it’s that they used less lace? I actually like yours better :)

    • 1

I'm so happy for you, borderline jealous :') but even if some of don't have a perfect fit bra like this, we're definitely gonna be happy for people who do have a bra like this! Also, it does look comfy and pretty on you!

    • 1

thank you, MeeM_13 . The funny thing is, two of the plunges I got (I ordered 3 in total) Arizona & Pearl Mint Plunge - do not gape on my smaller side. Hmm.

they both have the thinner padding. They also were less expensive than Charme (the bra above).

So, when I do the next review, I'm going to mention how the two different types of padding (thinner and thicker) fit differently.

I probably could have gone with 2 cm straps moved in for this size...but if my weight changes again, it will be different, LOL >

    • 1

BraOdyssey huh, very interesting! I did not know they had two different thicknesses when it came to their padded bras! Can't wait to read the next reviews.

  4. My shape is low set, soft, short and narrow rooted.

This bra is classically beautiful. It almost reminds me of something old fashioned, but the style is still quite modern. The top of the plunge cup has a lace overlay on top of beige, and then along the edge, it has gathered satin. Unfortunately the satin sticks out a bit and is visible under clothes. Luckily I don't wear tight clothes though, so it should be fine.

I am amazed that this fit, since the only other plunge I tried was a 65HH Poison Ivy that was too tall in the cups. I was worried this bra would also be ... too tall, but this is a size down from the one I tried. I'm pleased to say there's no gaping at all, and the cup height is great. It's my first try with a 60 band too, and it feels nice and supportive. I'm so glad I finally made the leap to size down my band (especially since losing weight), because my 30" were feeling loose. This bra makes me feel better about my recent black friday purchases to get a couple Comexim 60J 3HCs/Half cups.

The shape is actually quite rounded for a plunge. I usually look a bit pointier in plunges, so I'm quite happy with this look. I'm not sure if it's more rounded because the bra is used, or because the cup itself isn't stiff like EMs are. Either way, I'm happy with the profile. It's nice and uplifting and centering.

The straps are fully adjustable, and they still have lots of adjusting room on my tall, low set frame. The bra is wonderfully comfortable.

    • Thanks for passing it along Sonya ! I'm sure I'll wear it till it's dead!

I'd been hanging onto it for a while in hopes of losing 10 or so pounds but decided that probably wasn't gonna happen. I'm happy it's gone to a good home. It looks like it was made for you. :)

    • That is a gorgeous bra! I'm no fit expert but I wish I had something that looked as good on me as those pics look and felt good to! I'd be wanting to show everyone my bra lol

    • confused thank you! I'm blushing! Very nice of you to say.
It took a lot of trial and error to get to a point where I could make an educated guess on what would fit my body. I have tried lots of Comexims, so I know how they fit me. The reason I thought this one would fit is that I normally wear 65HH, which the sister size down is 60J, but Comexim's plunges are tall and they fit me bigger, so I sized down 1 size to 60HH. I bought this used so I didn't spend a ton of money on it if it didn't fit.

    55HH

    Didn't fit

So, I'm sort of on a bra adventure today since it's Saturday and I need to decompress from last week's energy crash and spell of anxiety. I guess bra nerdery is my coping mechanism!

I'm reviewing this bra because I was just sent an Understance product sample bra in 28H/28FF. Not the size I asked for, but the size they sent me. Well, even though the cup depth is only 1.5 cm above what fits me, the bra is functionally too big for me! Well, it isn't THAT bad, but I think I'd do better in a 26H, the size they told me they'd send me. Anyways. I am ... amazed at how only 1-2 cm can make such a PROFOUND difference in fit!

Take this bra. Remember my 55J (almost) unaltered Eris? Super full coverage? Cleavage free? Well, this is an unaltered 55HH Charme. Look at those MOUNDS. I wanted to achieve cleavage using Ewa Michalak, but I realized I need to be better with my money now that I've started a new job. So, this can be my cleavage bra for now!

The cup depth difference between 55HH and 55J is less than 2 cm, but the difference in fit is insane! Going from zero cleavage to smooshing my wide set boobs together.

The reason I don't like this bra is because I find it uncomfortable. There's just something about the Charme that makes it so... stiff. It doesn't really help that the band is so tight compared to other Comexims. It used to be unwearable without an extender. A torture device. Now, it is only mildly annoying to wear. For reference, I can stand to put my Eris on the tightest hook even though it is new. I would never even consider putting this Charme past the loosest hook and I've had it since May 2020.

Anyways, bra science is amazing and I now have cleavage. It's nice feeling like a busty girl for a while, lol....

    90H

    Didn't fit

This is my first Comexim bra. Ordering from Comexim was intimidating, so I ordered through Sophisticated Pair. Erica had me try on another bra first so we could determine sizing before placing a custom order. The Charme is a beautiful bra, with nice lace and ribbon detailing. On the manufacturer's website, the bra looks darker, but in person, you see the nude color under the mesh more clearly.

Me: Close-set breasts with wide roots. I'm somewhat even, but slightly FOB. Half-cup bras work best for me.

The band length will be an issue because I'm wearing it on the tightest hook and it's brand new. But Comexim is not ... always consistent with sizing on their custom bras, so it's hard to say if the issue is the 40/90 band or if the issue is that they just didn't make the bra to the set specifications (which Comexim is apparently notorious for).

Sophisticated Pair is able to order a wider size range of Comexim bras, which was one of the reasons I chose to order through them. I tried on the "Stiff Capuccino" bra in 40G before I got this one and we decided to go with the 40H with a reduced cup and to move in the straps for my sloped shoulders. I definitely have to "swoop and scoop" with the bra because the cups are too big if I don't fully pull all of my breast tissue forward.

The bra gives a nice, rounded shape, similar to my Freya bras, but the Comexim has a much better tack and it's much more comfortable than my Cleo Marcie and Cleo Blake, which have great projection, but have high U shaped wires that press a little too firmly. The Charme is definitely a bra you need to wear with a thick shirt/dress or camisole as the pleating, lace, and seams will show through most clothes.

I wish Comexim wasn't so hard to order from. I like the bra overall and I would consider getting another Comexim bra if the process of ordering wasn't so difficult. Sophisticated Pair has cut back on ordering from Comexim due to too many errors with the custom orders.

If you fit within the standard Comexim sizing and don't need a custom size, then the Charme is a lovely bra if you want a sexy, sophisticated bra with a hint of a burlesque look.

    • Oh! I love the look of this bra! :) Quick question - does the ribbon at the top show through clothing?

    • It showed up under tight jersey clothing, but it's less noticeable when not under changing room lights haha

    • Thx for your messurements and rewiev!
I ordered the charme in 60HH but when I see your messurements I would have gone better with a 55L (or K) :/ It makes me a bit nervous now..

    • What size are you usually? I think 55M fits a 26J (I'm usually 26JJ)

    • Well I don't know wright now. Not having any bra that really fits right now.. the bestfitting bras have cup deepth from 22.5 - 24.5 cm..
This one has 25.4 (so that would be ~1size too big I think?)

Ah, I don't really know cup depths that well - though a normal 55M would probably be a bit bigger, since I had my one made with cups reduced so I think it makes it a smaller size, if that helps

    • thx yes!

    60HH

    Fits

I bought this bra second hand from another Bratabase user. It must have some serious voodoo, because it fits both breasts really well. Absolutely no gaping on my small side and no quad boob on my large side. I nearly always get at least one of these, if not both! It's also attractive and really comfy. The straps are soft and the band is reasonably snug. I'm really pleased with this bra.

    Didn't fit

This bra is gorgeous to look at - very sexy and pinup/goth looking. However, the materials and fabric are rough and stiff and not comfortable at all. The lace also shows under clothing quite a bit. I no longer own this bra as the cups were slightly too small for me, but I don't think that I will reorder it in a larger size since even though it is super pretty, the cons out way the pros for me in this style.

    70G

    Fits

This bra is gorgeous and the nude color under the mesh is perfect for lighter skin tones. The bra fits me pretty well, but the lace/ribbon at the edge makes it a bit fuller coverage than I had hoped for. I did order this with reduced cups and straps moved in, and I think that the alterations were done because if I measure to the cup edge and not the edge of the lace/ribbon it measures similarly to my other Comexims with reduced cups. I also ordered the matching thong in medium and requested it to be made a bit lower lower rise, this I believe ... was done because I tried it on over another pair of Comexim panties in the same size and it does sit lower. I think I may be listing this though because while it is beautiful and a decent fit, I don't think it will get a lot of wear since it is more full coverage than I prefer. I'm glad I got the 70 band though because this does run a bit small making to just under 30 inches before wires begin to distort. I would say it fits more like a 65H than a 70G.

I do have this listed, but if no one is interested I may sew the lace/ribbon trim piece down to make it lower coverage.

    • how can you tell if the wires are distorted? I like to wear my bands tight, now I wonder if I am ruining my wires.

When you input measurements there is a notation you can pull up next to stretched measurement and it explains it. Basically its when the wires start to move when you stretch the band. I looked at your profile and some of the your bras and from what I can tell it doesn't look like your bands are tight enough to be distorting the wires. I'm between a 30/32 so had I gotten this in a 65 it would have fit more like a 28 and that would most likely not have worked for me.
