  1. Snake Half Cup

I love the print and colours of this bra. Having a black trim and straps, is always an added bonus for me.
The fabric is lovely quality, satin, and quite sturdy, which seems to give an added boost in the cleavage area.
It fits just like my other custom 3hcs but seems to give a little more boost. I am finding all of my custom orders are very similar and consistant in fit now, which means I am not worried about ordering anything. The only exception with this bra, is the band is a little smaller, but I am ok with an extender, and I hate a firm band!
This bra was in the sale and I am really happy with it.

      This bra is very photogenic.

    • 2

Wow, Snake is sooo much nicer in person than it looks on the website! Very pretty on you!

Is the fabric almost 'metallic' or does it just seem that way?

    • 2

bubblegum it is very metallic in person. I find I am usually pleasently suprised by how much nicer Comexim bras are in real life, compared to the photo on their website

    • I know right?
Very strange because it does seem like they put effort in their pictures - but somehow they often come out a bit 'flat' and they don't include much detail?

Good to know it's actually metallic - love that; I may actually order Snake (oops, was not gonna order more bras after BlackFriday)

So thanks for reviewing and posting pictures!!

    • bubblegum Snake is on sale for 140 zloty, so why not šŸ˜„ I do think their lighting for the phoos may not be the best.

    Didn't fit

Oh man Iā€™m bummed this wasnā€™t a win. While it looks cool and would be a great ā€œbedroom braā€, I canā€™t justify keeping it for the price with the fit issues.

First off, itā€™s cool looking. The black lace detail is fantastic. But it is a stiffer lace that Iā€™m sure some would find itchy. Of course it hasnā€™t been washed so whoā€™s to say it wouldnā€™t soften up with wash and wear. The cups are a three part vertical seemed cup. They feel wide and shallow at the wire, as well as giving me slight quad-boob along the top of the cup. There is one small black ... bow on the center gore. The center band consists of the same single layer of lace used in the cup construction. The backband is pretty true for a 65 band and leaning more on the stretchy side. The straps are your basic black straps with black hardware. The back clasps are a 5x4, but hereā€™s the worst part. The edge where the corner has been sealed is sharp. I can feel it like a mild sharp fingernail digging in. Super annoying. For me personally the band buckles when my body fat squished it up causing lumps and bumps. As I mentioned, this would be a cool ā€œbedroom braā€ for me, but I wouldnā€™t find this comfortable or practical for every day wear.

I purchased the matching panties in size Medium: They are a cheeky thong style and fit very well. The front portion is the same single layer of lace with a matching layer of lace in a triangle pattern in the back. I kind of wish there was some fine mesh lining the front panel. The sides are a folded over, doubled up black fine mesh. There is a black cotton gusset on the inside crotch.

Oh bummer Happy2BraShop ! I was eyeing this one in BB and it's too bad that it's not a good fit. Discomfort is definitely a big no-no and I've learned that even while I like the look of a bra, I will subconsciously avoid it because it's uncomfy in some way and will lead to years sitting unused.

      Thanks for sharing this review!

    • 2

I have a 65HH - Comexim Ā» Coco (381) that I bought a few years ago, and I find the lace on that one pretty stiff too. It may have softened a teensy bit, but it's still fairly stiff feeling compared to my other Comexim unlined bras and EM BMs.

That's too bad it's scratching too. I wonder if a nail clipper could resolve that..clipping at the edges above the stitching?

It's definitely a nice looking bra though! But such a bummer it didn't fit. Was this one a stock size? Can you at least send it back?

    • 4

aogg I do as well. It would just sit there and shuffled to the ā€œI wish this fit and felt the way I want it toā€ pile. So itā€™s gotta go back.

Wilderness1 Yes, itā€™s a stock size I got from BoB. I already sent in my return request. I though about if clipping it would help, but with all the other fit issues it wouldnā€™t have made a big enough difference to keep it. Even my husband loved it, but darned if the cups just didnā€™t work for me. Lol itā€™s a good thing their return policy doesnā€™t say anything about the bra being soaked with tears of sadness lol.

I'm so sorry this didn't fit! It's stunning on you, but the fit issues are pretty prominent. You kind of look like a VS model in it, lol. Uncomfortable but gorgeous.

Finally, a Comexim that fits! My latest order was supremely successful. I tried a 3HC in my new size, and finally found the cut and alterations that work for me. Plus the print is so pretty. It's even nicer IRL than in the stock photos. Full review on my blog!

    • Thanks for your review! I've been waiting with baited breath since I saw that you added this bra. I've been eyeing this bra since it came out. I ALMOST got it with my last order a few weeks back and then changed my mind and went with the Diana in 3HC instead... I wish I'd gone with Mattiola, however, it's good to know that the band is so short... I will probably size up to a 65 in this bra.

    • It's beautiful! Would you say that the added depth at the wire makes it fit much larger, overall? I'm wondering if this alteration merits downsizing in cup size...

    • Wow, that really is gorgeous. I'm ready to try a Comexim and this review is really helpful regarding they way they fit. I'm glad you mentioned the overlapping wires at the gore, because I have almost NO space at all between my breasts and that would be a solution that would probably work for me.

    • Beautiful! I have considered this one before, and it is on my list, though I have a few other ones that are a little higher priority, especially as Iā€™m still working out my size in a 3HC.

    • Thanks for the gorgeous photos!

    • 1

Wilderness1 Thanks so much for you comment! I wish I could say that your band would also run small and to size up, but unfortunately I feel like the margin of error can be a bit of a crapshoot. The other bra in my order ran TTS. On this sample of one I couldn't be confident. Luckily the extender helped!

    • Sonya I'm not sure. I really struggled with guessing a size for my order. I hadn't ordered in a while. The 60HH plunge with reduced cups was my best prior fit from Comexim for depth, but the plunges cut in on top on me. I wavered between a standard 60J and 60HH with added depth and settled on the latter hoping for maybe a happy medium in depth and avoiding the cup getting too tall. Honestly it feels like winning the lottery that it worked šŸ˜‚ Since I don't own a 60J in any HCs I can't compare measurements. To be safe I'd say maybe it adds half a cup?

    • Haboob The overlapping gore is my favorite alteration! I wish all bras had it.

    • Love4Pollinators thank you for you kind comment! ā˜ŗļø

    • Thanks! :)

Comexim Fun box try on #3

    *************************

I recently got a 65J Belen 3HC which is beautiful, but not a perfect fit. While the bra band was a bit snug, the cups did fit, but were a little bit too tall for my functionally short roots. So Wilderness1 was super kind and generous to offered to send me a bunch of her altered Comexims to try. Looking at the list, some looked like they were going to be too small, and some looked like they had similar enough measurements and alterations, so I narrowed it down to 4 bras, including this one. Itā€™s the same size as the Belen ... but with the straps moved in, a reduced cup height, and an overlapping gore. This was the ideal test.

This is one beautiful bra! Itā€™s one that I had wanted for a long time but never got the nerve to try it when I had a little spare money. The colour is like creamed honey - a warm, creamy slightly beige ivory colour. I like that it is a simple lace with one bow at the center, and slightly satiny straps. The lace is scalloped over the edge of the cups and adds a delicate and look.

Now unlike the two previous reviews of the box of joy, the band on this was a perfect fit, as is, on the loosest hooks. But itā€™s not new, and Iā€™m pretty sure that it was pretty tight brand new. Iā€™m sure I would have needed a 70 in this one brand new. I was warned that it was a tight band. The straps are moved in and it makes my armpits happy. Iā€™m pretty sure that this is going to be a consistent alteration for me. Iā€™m not sure if I noticed anything different with the gore fit on this one.

As for cup height, which was the biggest thing I wanted to try, it was pretty good. Itā€™s 1-1.5cm from what I understand. With the lovely scalloped lace reaching just slightly beyond the edge of cups, the height is about the same when I overlaid this one over top of the Belen while wearing. Folding the lace back, thereā€™s a small amount of difference, but itā€™s lowered for sure. Is it low enough? Iā€™m not sure. I still have some cup edge showing through my thin shirt. Is it from the lace or the height still? Nevertheless, the volume looks to be about right and it looks good on. One thing to note is that I received the box of excitement the week before my period, and I sent it back to her before I could try anything other than the Lady Grey (which I purchased from the box) with post period boobs.

My breasts are even, with tallish but shallow and narrowish roots, but combined with being soft and projected, they are functionally short and fob. This bra, with alterations, seems to accommodate me pretty well. As this is worn regularly by the owner, it was not available for sale like the Beauty and Lady Grey. So sad since it felt so good on. Iā€™m toying with getting a Ginger made into a 3HC to be similar to this. But itā€™s not a top priority as thereā€™s other styles that I am interested in on the site. But Ginger is pretty cheap, so maybe one day, if I can guarantee that it will be narrow and deep enough.

For now, knowing how this fits with the alterations is hugely helpful to me as I look at ordering something soon.

    Fits

Iā€™m probably going to regret writing this review at 1am, but I am still up for a little bit longer and Iā€™m in the mood. Apologies for the typos that will inevitably happen in one of my many late night reviews.

This is the second bra that I received from Sonya to try. Well, itā€™s technically the first, as she actually offered to send this to me to try first, adding the CHP as an afterthought, however I recently reviewed the CHP so itā€™s kind of backwards like River Songā€™s timeline with The Doctor. It was sent, as was the CHP, for bra science. Both ... are styles and sizes that I was previously unfamiliar with. I had a 60HH 3HC but had never had a plunge from Comexim before, so judging how the 3HC fit, we thought the 65HH/30G plunge was a good place to start. And while I have 65FF in a PL and BM, Iā€™d never tried a CHP but I knew that I had wanted to.

Of her 2 Comexim plunges in this size, the Jade had a better chance of fitting than the Sonia (which I had wanted to try) because it was a bigger stretched band length which I need. Needless to say, this bra is a gem of a stunner! I find that I actually prefer Comexim prints over Ewaā€™s a lot of the time. This one was apparently a Bra Obsessed exclusive which is likely why itā€™s got the UK size on the tag.

The foam cups for this bra are covered in an unbelievably gorgeous shade of jade green satin or satin-like material. This material extends all the way around to the band. On top of the cups is a gorgeous black lace that covers most of the cups, maybe about two thirds of the cup...the upper third is just the green satin. The lace covers the gore, and thereā€™s a small black bow as well, and one on each strap where itā€™s connected to the cups. The straps are black and as usual, the back is a u back/leopard back. The black is a beautiful contrast with the vibrant green. There are 2 rows and 3 columns of hooks, but the spacing of the hooks is wider, therefore the hook pad is a bit bigger than some.

The fit of this bra is different from my Ewa Michalak PL bras. For starters, itā€™s a more rigid foam cup...my Ewas feel lighter and squishy by comparison. The gore is also higher on this one...it is closer to the gore of an S cut, I think. In either case, itā€™s low and not bothersome to me. I think I like it just a little bit taller like this. The cups on the other hand are taller, and not in a good way. My roots are taller but shallow and functionally short, so I have a little bit of gapping at the straps. If I didnā€™t know that you could get alterations like reduced cup and straps moved in, Iā€™d be fine with the cut of this plunge, but itā€™s definitely on my mind for future plunges from Comexim. I feel like they are just a little bit too tall for me and in my armpits more than I care for them to be. I have taken pictures of my 65FF PL Zlote Oko over top for comparison. And I feel like my PL cups are a little bit too still. My center full soft tissue does want to spill over some, as it usually does, but I do feel like I am more strapped in with this plunge than the Ewa plunge.

The band on this one is pretty snug. I have not tried to wear it beyond taking pictures, but I would like to see how the bra fits if I use a row of hooks from an extender. My extenders are the wrong size to try. I went to La Senza on my last day off and they were resisting opening the packages to see what size I needed, and they would not let me try before buying. So I didnā€™t buy. They didnā€™t have any store testers to try which is strange. I went to The Bay, and while they did have extenders to try, it was the wrong kind. It hooks, has a bit of elastic stretch, then the hooks. This effectively is too much extra room. I had planned to go to my specialty shop, but I ended up surprise FaceTiming with my brother and his family and became a judge in the cookie contest that they were having (inspired by The Great British Bake Off theyā€™ve been watching). Thereā€™s nothing quite like judging cookies made by a 7 and 4 (nearly 5) year olds obsessed with the show. My niece was doing the handshake and she tried so hard to give responses when they tasted them like she was a judge. Adorable! Anyway, cookies made me miss my window to get to the shop. Iā€™d really like to know before buying how the extender will affect the fit of the cups, if at all.

The straps on this bra are pretty stretchy, but also fairly thick, and among the hardest Iā€™ve ever had to adjust. Theyā€™re quite determined to stay the same length; the sliders do not want to move easily. I guess itā€™s good once you finally get the sweet spot....itā€™s unlikely to slip or change. But getting to the sweet spot might take some time. I feel like I have decent depth at the wire, but I have not worn it for any length of time to see if itā€™ll slip. The wires are nice and narrow.

Overall, I really like the bra and the shape I get with it, though itā€™s pretty visible under a snug shirt (you can see the seam showing in my picture). I feel like I can get a better fit with a cup size up and alterations (straps moved in and cups reduced) if I order directly or buy from the listings with those already in place. I do have the option of buying it instead of sending back, but I have not decided on what to do. I think that itā€™s highly dependent upon how the bra will fit with the extender and how much it would be. I hope to go to the specialist shop later this week when Iā€™m off next. Iā€™m sure I will get some feedback here for the bra too which will help me with my decision.

I hope this review helps someone.

The colour is gorgeous and looks beautiful on you! Hope it's comfortable with an extender :-)

I agree that Comexim often looks better than Ewa, pattern/color wise. But yes, a different set of height ratios and fit for sure. I personally love green and wish it was a more used color by both brands.

This one does look lovely on you though!!

    • 1

This bra is gorgeous, and the color looks really nice on you!

    • 1

      This looks amazing on you!

    • 1

This looks great on you, I hope the extender works out!

    • I think this looks quite good on you. I love that green too (I love all green bras). I found the plunge too tall when I tried it too. I have never gone back to try another because I was so unsure of what size would actually work. I also prefer most of Comexim's bra aesthetics over EMs, and they actually fit me better too.

    • 1

I agree, this colour is spectacular and looks lovely on you.

    • 1

Wilderness1 The reduce cup height alteration takes away more fabric at the strap, so it might work for you.

    • 1

Thanks Sovavosi . It might be worth a try sometime. They have so many pretty bras, and they've always done my alterations correctly (as far as I can tell).

    • 2

I would either reduce cup OR move the straps in. I think either one will reduce that space up there. I get that space in every bra. Itā€™s not a major fit issue in my opinion. The straps and sides bothering you is a bigger issue I think.

Btw after adjusting the straps a few times it will get easier and slide better.

    • Thanks everyone. Itā€™s been a long day at work, plus belated staff holiday party. I only just got home. My dinner was delicious.

Anyway, yes, itā€™s really a beautiful bra. The colour is gorgeous and itā€™s a pretty good fit aside from the tall cups and wide straps. I will update on the fit after I try the extender with it.

cupandahalf interesting. I see most people who reduce the cup height also bring the straps in, otherwise itā€™s still quite wide... the two go hand in hand. Do you think that simply bringing the straps in would be sufficient? If I did do both alterations, would one size up in the cup size (to 65J/70HH) be enough? Iā€™m toying around with 1) asking the B/S/T groups if anyone has a bra in the sizes mentioned with the alterations mentioned or 2) finding the cheapest plunge on the site that I like well enough (even if itā€™s not my favourite one) to try the alterations on.

    • 2

The reason why I suggest doing one and not the other has to do with my own experiments with bra alterations. Moving the strap in changes how open the cup will be- reducing the height will further change that. I think the fewer changes folks make to a pattern that works for them ok the better results they get, as there are so many consequences even to a 2 cm strap change.

    • Thanks cupandahalf for the explanation. Right now the Ingrid is among the cheapest ones on the site with the 65J/70HH at 125zl, so price wise it would be ideal for experimenting with, only Ingrid apparently is an odd bird of a fit, so perhaps not the best model for trying. So I might have to look at other ones. Does Magda orde with Comexim too?

    • Calluna Magda doesn't at the moment but she could possibly set up an account. With customizations though it might be better to work directly with Comexim.

    Didn't fit

    3. I ordered Ginger as a 3HC in 65P with straps moved in 3cm, gore reduced to 6.5cm, narrowed, and overlapping; 3x4 hooks, cookie pockets.
Appearance: I love love love the look of this bra! I love the delicate creamy lace and how it covers the entire bra over a pink-tan base. The olive bows are a nice unexpected complement. The lace slightly over hangs the cups in a soft scallop for a very feminine look. This cup also has the silky smooth cookie pockets.
Fit: this is my first 3HC and while on the contrary this doesn't quad like the other two, I can tell that the wires are ... too wide and the cup too tall near the straps. I wonder if this can be solved by moving in the straps which I learned that I will probably need 4cm in on 3HC. The gore is flat, band great on the first hooks, and the look melts my heart. I'm not sure if I will be able to pull off 3HC if I cannot figure how to reduce that extra fabric near the straps.

Panties: I bought the matching set in L szorty and will start ordering high rise XL for my 44"hips and 39-40" hip bone in figi and szorty. They are gorgeous though, there's a center panel and triangle on the back of the lace and the rest is the pink-tan stretch mesh which is partially see through.

Oooh I love this bra! I have an Ingrid on the way and if it fits, this one is next on my list

    • @kermitdafrog yes it is beautiful, I'm not sure the pics show the true beauty of it. You want this and Ingrid is next on my list along with mint, poison ivy, and a few older styles.

    • I already have this in a longline version but want one more in the normal ver too as a daily bra before it discontinues. Sooooo beautiful:) One thing that I'm wondering now is how the low gore works on my centerful boobs. I've never thought to order that low gore but now would like to. Btw, the tall and wide cups issues may be able to be solved by ordering 65Q with deeper cups or 65P with reduced cups and asking to use narrower wires. 'More moved in straps' option may lessen the cup volume and flatten the cups :( That's why I listed many comexim bras here.......

    • Twoflower the narrow wires may be an option, but HC cannot have reduced cups. I will likely bend them some but I left it unaltered for the review. I think you should go with whatever you're comfortable with as far as the gore goes. I have high set boobs with a lot of center fullness, close set, even fullness and I have no problem wearing a 6cm/2.5inch gore. I like my cleavage and a low gore coupled with it being narrowed and overlapping gives me cleavage with 1mm of space so the girls aren't touching/rubbing together causing irritation/sweat.

    • MissAponii Oh comexim makes the hc cups reduced. I have Elena hc and Ingrid 3hc with the option. However the low gore sounds really great :) I will definitely go for it for my next order!

    • MissAponii I already have an Ingrid, but I've grown so it's too small for my. It's in the 3HC cut too, which I don't think I like all that much so I ordered my new Ingrid in the plunge cut.

Twoflower Somehow they seem to go back an forth on whether or not they'll reduce the cup height on the halfcups. I have two, and on one they told me they don't reduce the cup height for halfcups and for the other they did it.

    • Twoflower now I want to cry, bc I thought it wasn't an option I've asked them before too šŸ˜šŸ˜

  7. Annika Plunge Bra

I typically wear a 30E/32DD, so I purchased this in a 70F (it was the only thing close to my size) fully expecting to have to have a lot of alterations done. My chest is tall, wide, slightly shallow on top and full on the center and sizes. I noticed on the reviews, that people mentioned the top portion of the bra was rather shallow, which is precisely what I what I wanted. I am actually surprised at how it fits. It is not as massive on me as I thought it would be, and I don't believe I will have to make as many alterations. I am considering putting a cookie in the cup of the smaller breast and its gaps a little when I slouch. The fabric is quite rich and comfortable and its brown!! (I love finding brown bras!) I also adore the butterfly cameo in the center of it.

    • 2

70F is Comexim's equivalent of 32E and given how they scale their cups up in smaller increments than most UK bras, this is the exact size I would have told you to start with when trying their bras.

    • 1

      Sonya Thank you so much!
lcl0706 Ah good to know! And to think I was thinking it was going to be massive on me! Good to know! Should I look at the same size in Ewa's?

    • 1

EmmaOh no in Ewa I would start with 70DD or 70E

    • Sonya Thank you!
lcl0706 Thank you! I will do that

      Gorgeous on you!!

    • Love4Pollinators Thank you!!

    • After reading this EmmaOh I think this bra would fit you marvelously: http://bra.pe/XYKv/ . You may need an extender till it loosens up a bit, but I was pretty conservative in my stretched band measurement.

    • LeProfessor AH! thank you for the recommendation!! I may take you up on that!! Where is the best place to get an extender? I was thinking Amazon.

    • I would have to agree with that! Amazon seems to be the cheapest and quickest way to get such things. I also recently figured out that an extender can be used to make a band smaller as well. Atleast for a bit of quick fix, you can hand sew/tack on the extender next to the eyehooks that are already on and have like 6 columns of eyes hooks to use!

This is a very soft and comfortable bra, and it's a perfect nude for my pale skin. It has a double layer of beige mesh and some beige/cream lace across the top of the cup. The lace gives it a very delicate appearance without being over the top, and after replacing the wires with stronger ones it tacks firmly and handles my center fullness just fine. It also has plenty of depth at the wire.

Unfortunately, I think the mesh is just not firm enough to support my large, heavy breasts, and the band is too stretchy. As a result, I don't get quite enough lift and my breasts ... hang over the wire ever so slightly. Also, for some reason the straps are super stretchy in a bad way, so I might try to replace them at some point.

Bottom line? So comfortable that I will keep and wear it despite some minor fit issues.

Update: after having and wearing this for a while, iā€™ve come to the conclusion that most of my fit issues are actually being caused by an uneven tension in the lace on the top of the cup and the too loose band. Iā€™m reordering this in a regular plunge cut in a smaller band size.

I so want to try a Polish bra. Maybe this in 90H

    • 2

cupandahalf I really love it, though the straps are driving me a bit crazy. Also I ordered those vertical wires from porcelynne, so I'll let you know how those turn out!

dfe98we i've got a couple Ewa Michelaks in 100FF I never wear if you wanted to try those! A BM and an S. Not sure what your sizing needs are.

    • Tempting, but 100 band might be a bit large for me...

    • ennakym You mentioned replacing the wires with stronger ones, could you provide guidance on how you did this as far as sizing/sourcing them goes? I was considering trying it with some of my Comexims in a similar size range (90J/K right now), but am concerned that purchasing wires elsewhere will end up with a somewhat different shape and change the fit of the bra in unintended ways. I would really appreciate any tips or info you could provide.

Oh.My.God.Oh.My.God.Oh My God! Here I am wearing a size 28:7 bra! @Comexim Adore Plunge bra in 60F. This is my first shot at a Polish bra/ a bra based off of centimeters instead of inches. IMO, all brands should follow centimeters instead of inches as it is more accurate and allows for a greater range of sizes. It's so often you see women who need only a half cup size larger and that is just not available in UK/US bras. This bra fits! It actually FITS! It is my second real fitting bra (the other is more of a sexy bra, not an every day ... bra) that is not a sports bra. I will most likely try a 60E, 28:7 next time to compare and maybe get some cleavage like the Comexim models have.
THE BAND. This band was SO comfortable for me. It had no digging and did not move around. It was just really snug, like a firm hug. Which just seems like witchcraft to me because the materials don't seem all that different from my Claudette's or other bras. I believe it is just two layers of power mesh with thick elastic binding. There this very pretty "extended" band coming off of the bottom of the functional band that is a single layer if mesh and a very thin piece of elastic. As pretty as it is, it is highly unnecessary and non-functional. When I wore the bra to my ten hour shift, it rolled up almost immediately and could no longer be seen. I did make sure you could see it in the pictures.
THE CUP. This bra is considered to be a padded, plunge bra. Neither of which I feel are very descriptive of it. The cup is a three piece cup made out of very thin, stiff foam covered in a black mesh and finished with this darling gold binding at the top of the cup. This decorative binding causes the cup to be more closed on top, which is one of the main parts of this bra that I think make it fit me so great. While I do have tall-ish roots and I am mostly center/top full with more inner fullness that outer/bottom fullness, I feel that this cup fits me like a full coverage cup and follows the shape of my breast extremely well. The mesh does not feel particularly good or bad to my fingers, I don't really feel it all with my breasts. The left cup appears to be cut angled more upward and curled inward (smaller breast) while the right cup appears to cut straight coming out from the gore in an extreme-ish angle (larger breast). Because of this, the bra seems to fit my smaller breast better than my larger breast. The larger breast will gape before the smaller one will during normal activities where a stiff-padded cup bra would normally have a bit of gaping. The projection also seems quite perfect for me. If you need ALL THE PROJECTION, this bra may not be the best for you.
THE WIRES. The wires on this bra are fairly firm, not as firm as some I have tried, but they certainly aren't flexible by any means. They are also fairly short. Shorter wires usually cause my tissue to escape over top of these short wires but this rarely happens with this bra. During a ten hour shift I only felt the need to pull the top of my breast back in the cup like 2 or 3 times. They also have that "perfect" wire width for me, directly in between narrow wires and wide wires for my size range (about 4.5"). The wires never dug in.
THE GORE. Sits just about flat on my sternum and a little bit on my larger breast. I have this problem with are bra gores that are not plunges. The gore comes up way to high for me to consider this to be a plunge bra. It did seem to dig in from time to time. If it does not soften up with a few wears like my other bras have, I will simply bend them away from my body slightly. The wires do not overlap on this bra, they just sit cuddled next to each other.
THE STRAPS. The pretty gold binding along the top of the cup continues up the straps, stopping at the shoulder. This detailing makes the straps only partially adjustable. Which is generally just fine for me. The back of the gold detail/the rest of the strap is a soft, supple elastic which is comfortable and forgiving. They are what I would call an average width. They're not delicate and thin but they're definitely not super thick and unnecessary. They are pretty wide though. I would like to try the narrowed straps, but the wide ones don't really bother me. Them being so wide makes it really easy to show off the beautiful decoration. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
OVERALL. I really can not think of anything bad to say about this bra besides it's name not accurately describing the bra. I'd definitely just call it 'The Adore Bra." The gore is a normal height, the cups are a normal height and it's definitely not a full-cup bra. It perhaps could be called a balcony bra with a plunge-like detail. IMO, the cups create a fairly straight line across the chest with a slight plunge down to the gore.
It's beautiful. It's comfortable. It fits like a dream and the quality is high and noticeable. It could easily become a push-up bra if it have cookie pockets or a nice bump pad in the bottom. Perhaps a sling to assist with pulling the tissue even further towards the center of the chest.
I LOVE THIS BRA & look forward to trying more from @Comexim .

I'm glad you found such a great fit! be warned, I've heard that sometimes Comexims are inconsistent. Also, every time you mention a 10 hour shift I cringe a little and feel so damn lazy lol ok, and lucky, but still

    • I have noticed the inconsistencies among comexim bras....I've found such a huge variety of sizes that may fit me from them (seriously from like 60D-60H & 65D-65F, s**ts bonkers!). It seems that way with Ewa as well.
I know the ten hour shifts can be brutal. At first thought it's like; "oh yeah, awesome three days off instead if two!" Until you realize your working an extremely laborious job and you essentially sleep the entirely of one if those days! But it certainly puts the bras to the test when it comes to comfort, stability and quality!
I actually think I'm beginning to prefer non-padded bras dbmamaz the shape the good ones give me under clothes is just so nice. I never thought I would touch one. I'm quite eager to try the semi-soft and non-padded bra from comexim and other polish brands.

    • 1

LeProfessor I think some of the older models fit differently than newer, mostly in the bands. Iā€™ve been lucky, my Ewaā€™s are more consistent than the Comexim. I ordered four half cups and only one fits.

    • Would you say the newer bands run tighter or looser Sovavosi ? I really quite like this one. Super snug/tight without the tendency to dig in.

    • 1

Mostly looser, like 29". I have a new one (Belen) that only stretched to 28". Your snug rib is significantly under 28 so this shouldn't make any difference to you though.

    • 3

The bands tend to vary based on material stretchiness, but I've found that to be the case with all brands, not just the Polish ones. We just notice it more now since we aren't wearing the super loose bands that are a few sizes too big. Also custom made bras will run somewhat inconsistent due to the nature of production...then again the factory line ones were inconsistent too..... LeProfessor Try to keep in mind that aside from human manufacturing variations, we do have human measuring variations too, so the range you see isn't necessarily going to fit you. It's more of a guideline than a rule....and why am I suddenly envisioning The Pirates of the Caribbean? !? Parlay anyone? :-)

    • Hmm. That means I may end up being comfortable in their 26 bands then. All my favorite bands so far measure 26" stretched. This particular bra can stretch up to 28" but the cups start to warp after the 26" mark. Most thin women like me seem to like a band measurement closer to their loose measurement (28"), but I seem to like mine closer to my snug measurement (26"). So, if their 28/60 bands run a bit looser (28/29"), their 26/55 bands should theoretically run abit looser too, 26/27"..... so many bras to try...so many bras. Super glad I'm not nearly as wide as originally thought (or my boobs migrated back to where they belonged very quickly) or I would be SOL on all these fantastic bras!
...I'm going to start sketching out designs and looking up patterns for bras...

    • 2

LeProfessor I think you might want a band closer to your loose than your snug. A band that only stretches to 26" might feel too tight on you if your ribcage is bony. My ribcage is ~26.5", I could probably fit in a 26 but Polish 28s work and are easier to come by.

    • 2

I agree with Sovavosi on this one. Going too tight is not good for your body-your skin or your breasts. Bands are more harmful tight than corsets. My loose underbust is 27" and honestly there are days I prefer the 65 bands due to sensitive skin.
Measure your comfortable snug underbust in a seated position before making a decision for sure. Ribs tend to flare when seated & that will effect comfort and pain....

    • 2

that looks like a super great fit on you. welcome to the glorious world of polish bras lol.

    • This looks fantastic on you! I tried this bra a while ago and it was a shape mismatch for me. I found the Rita similar in shape, so that might work for you too. The whole band length thing can be so frustrating. My underbust is 24/25/26" and I find 60 is usually good in Comexim. My latest 60s tend to stretch to 26".

    • Thank you for the recent information Sonya it's sometimes so frustrating that brands change their patterns/sizing year-over-year , but we all know it's for the best fit!
I was so excited to finally be able to try one yogurt I'll be sure to not let many on here pass through my fingers again! I also wanted to thank you and let you know that I often wander over to your page and read through your reviews & compare the bra measurements of others to your measurements. Lol.
I understand what you guys are saying Sovavosi and MamaPagan and it's the exact reason why I've only gotten 28 & 30 bands do far. But in my experience so far, my favorite bands currently stretch to 26". This one included.

    • larabloom you sure? I've read a lot of recent reviews stating the alterations that didn't require more fabric were free! :/

    • 1

I'm not sure. I read an article where someone (maybe Anna Pardal?) said that someone else had been right that doing alterations for free was rather optimistic or something, but I can't find it now, and I see September articles saying that they 'might' charge a small fee in the future from third parties. Hopefully I'm wrong! The longlines come at a small extra fee; I thought having almost any other alterations came with a small extra fee too, but that you got as many alterations as you want for that. But short of buying another bra, I'm not seeing a way to check that!

    • 1

larabloom I ordered two new bras and asked for the straps to be moved in 2 cm...they said it was fine, and I didn't pay anything more...let's see if the alterations will be done or not... hmmm

    • 2

As far as I know customizations at Anna Pardal cost $10 for as many alterations as you want. Cookie pockets and nursing clips are free.
Comexim longlines are an additional 20 PLN, all other alterations are free.
Ewa Michalak charges an additional 20 PLN + 6% (international customers) for special sizes (ex: 60 bands) and special cuts (ex: So to CHP) but performs no other customizations.

    • 2

Ugh, that should say S to CHP. :/ autocorrect.

    • jlcl119 thanks for the insight :D

At the moment I have a lot of lacy, floral, romantic-looking bras (and I do love them), but itā€™s cool to have something like Magic for a change: more minimalistic and modern-looking. The color is a gorgeous, deep emerald green (I had to adjust the color a bit because my phoneā€™s camera made it look too blue). The black trims and straps look great on it. Yay for more green bras!

I think that Comexim plunges are my favorite bras to wear at the moment, and Magic is no exception. It fits similarly to most other Comexim plunges, meaning lots of projection and narrow underwires. Most of the projection ... is in the center part of the cup. At first when I put this bra on, I thought that the shape seemed quite pointy, but already after the first wear the cups softened and became rounder. This bra has alterations: reduced center gore, overlapping wires at the center, and 4x2 hooks (I asked for 3x3 but itā€™s not a problem really). The band seems like a standard 28; it fits my small ribcage best on the second row of hooks.

The bra fits very well, feels comfortable and looks fantastic. I also got the matching thong in size S. Itā€™s comfortable, true to size and completes the set perfectly. This will be a much loved set Iā€™m sure!

Ive ordered this gorgeous bra along with 70G - Comexim Ā» Veronique Half Cup 3hc (CUSTOM-ORDER) . The bra is very light, like a mist! Looks causal but sexy at the same time.

Ive got it with straps moved in 2cm and 2 layers of fabric on the band in order to be more stable. I took this bra in my usual padded Comexim size without any alteration, so as a soft bra with alterations fits me well.

Firstly, the band is on the tighter side of Comexims in 70 (most of my directly ordered Comexims measures around 75cm and this one is only 73), as usually ... I can wear without extender and with this one I need 1 extra set of eyes but also its possible to wear it without - but just for more comfort i prefer with.
The cup depth is good as the moved in straps made it more closed so it fits me perfect, even on the smaller side, theres not much wrinkling as it usualy happens with soft bras!
Straps are perfect - fully adjustable but with this horrible and hard fabric that is hard to adjust (yup, I forgot to order the soft one..). They are perfect under tank tops as dont show
The wings unfortunately are little too high and bother me more than in my Veronique. They may get softer after couple of washes.
Theres no wow effect in it unfortunately. Even 70E - Comexim Ā» Sharon (366) gives me better cleavage. It gives nice rounded but natural shape from the side, but from the front its just there. It doesnt move my boobs to the middle much. Maybe for someone with boobs that are close set will work better.
However, its comfy and as mentioned before light so Im going to keep it for summer (if there will be sumer at all..).

The style looks like mixture of Ewa Michalak 3DM and SM as I remember having both mgielkas and this is like child of them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

Overall I think is worth ordering to try it but for me I'd love to see another soft halfcup..

    • This is a really useful review for me. I'm keen to try some unlined Comexims but really didn't have a clue what size might fit me (still waiting for my reordered plunge), but this, along with the measurements, helps a lot. Thanks!

    • alexad with my first unlined I got recommendation from Joanna and Anna to size down and it was quite good - only small quadboobs. With this one and greater experience with Comexim I decided to move straps in and I knew that this will make the bra smaller so I took my standard size :) Maybe you should try same way as I did?

This bra is gorgeous! I was lucky enough to snatch this beauty up from Anya99. The color is amazing in person and the pics don't do it justice. I'm currently trying to lock down my Comexim sizing, but I'm starting to think it's a crap-shoot as to what you're gonna get. This band is stretchy and I have to wear it on the tightest set of hooks, but it's very comfy none the less. This bra has a 3x3 closure. The underwires and cups are a smidge too wide but might serve me well during that time of the month when my breast are fuller. The straps are fully adjustable. The quality is fantastic and from the moment I put it on it felt good. Despite the small fit issues I'll be holding onto this baby and wearing it when I can.

    Didn't fit

So, this is the first time I've tried a Comexim. I was always curious, but what I'd seen of larger sizes did not really appeal to me - the shape looked more flat and wide than EM's in my size range. But when this showed up in about my size at a very reasonable price, i had to try it.

Fabric - a very interesting lace pattern. I dont think I've seen anything like it. Its not stretchy and its slightly itchy, hopefully that will wash out. The band is very stretchy. While it does stretch to about 34 inches, I ... only had it on the 2nd set of hooks, because its reasonably firm.

Wires are really quite narrow. I tried to take another picture showing where the wires are with my fingers, but really you can tell because the wires are where it changes from sheer lace to solid black. They dont go in to my arm pit and my boobs are visibly bulging out of them, meaning they create a good backstop for my boobs so they dont go trying to escape in to my armpits. BUT the wires are softer than I'm used to, so if I pull more armpit flab in, it doesnt really seem to stay.

Also I think the soft wires may be contributing to the odd shape mismatch in the front.

Size. I THINK it fits? At first it seemed huge, but then I tightened the straps a LOT. which could mean its supposed to fit like a half-cup and i'm wearing it pulled up like a not-half-cup? Or maybe the straps are really long? Of course, because of the placement, the strap buckle on my smaller side comes way up to my shoulder, which promises to be uncomfortable.

Shape. Shape is weird. I cant figure out what I think.

In the front, the shape looks completely different on the two sides of my body. The cup seems to come up much higher on my smaller boob, which sort of makes sense, except that thats not how my boobs fit in other bras. Even tho my boobs are always different sizes.

There is a weird flattened area on my bigger boob (not far from where the flattened area is when I wear my 70J - Ewa Michalak Ā» Sm Fiolecik (642) - which makes me think my bigger boob has a flat area?) . . . but the bra makes my boobs look pretty crazy round under a shirt. Of course, often that amazing roundness is the first thing to go when fabrics stretch, but still.

The weirdest part of the fit is at the top of the cup near my armpit, on the smaller side. There is just a ton of extra fabric. I tried to take a picture of me pinching that extra fabric, but I didnt realize the picture didnt take until I was already changed. But I DO have a picture where I dropped a little tub of lip balm in to the extra fabric. It looks kinda like its digging in to my boob, but its not. Its just hanging out in this pocket of extra fabric. There's also a side picture where you can see how much wrinkling there is in that same part of the bra.

So, what do I think? I have no idea. Advice? Comments?

Note, you cant see all the pictures from the front page, you have to click to the review. You can look at them all on a page that way. http://www.bratabase.com/bra/di6tb/pictures/

    • Oh, i think the straps were moved in originally? idk.

    • 4

Hey, it doesn't look too bad! I kinda like it. :) I love the round shape that it gives you!

Half-cups definitely make a different shape than the balconettes that you're used to. You'll notice the cups are made with ONLY vertical pieces instead of having one horizontal piece along the top. Vertical pieces help create that round, close-to-the chest look. I don't know if I'd compare the fit/shape of this in absolute terms against your other bras that *aren't* half-cups. It's like apples to oranges. They're both tasty fruit but slightly different. :)

That empty space at the top of the cups is why lots of people request "reduced cup height." That alteration helps make the cups not so tall near the strap area. So, I'd say if you were ever to order from Comexim, definitely request this alteration!

Hmm, wonder if that flat area is just a result of the cup being a smidge too small for your bigger breast. I guess it's a bit tricky if the cups are too small for the bigger breast and too big for the smaller breast!

Overall, I think it's GORGEOUS and I love the shape it gives under a shirt! If you decide you don't like it, let me know and I may buy it from you. :)

    • 1

Forgot to mention, yes, Comexim wires are quite soft, especially compared to the steel-framed Panache wires. Many people find the soft wires to be a welcome comfort compared to stiffer wires. Comexim does offer *stronger wires* as an alteration, but they're still not as firm as Panache wires (maybe closer to EM, then?)

    • Interesting! Looks nice, love the lace! How is it in wear? Comfortable? So no quad boob and good shape under shirt :) The wires are softer but do they contort?

    • I havent really worn it yet. I just tried it on to take pics. and i dont think they are contorting but i'm not sure? and its so hard to see black bras in pics

    • 2

I'm not in your size range at all, so I can't really say anything helpfull, but I do like the look of it! You look great in it! :)

    • 3

I think this looks really nice on you! Also agree with BumbleBean about Comexim having soft wires.

    • 3

I also think it looks nice on you! The top excess fabric I think is a Comexim thing. I got that too but I can live with it. Hope it's comfy and you keep it!

    • 2

Comexim definitely has really soft wires, even softer than EM. It's one of those things I really like and also find annoying at the same time - on one hand they're *so comfy*, but on the other I prefer the stability I get from a full tack. I don't find Panache's wires uncomfortable, though, I love how hard they are because I need that for support.

This is a half cup and you're mostly used to balconettes, and the two are really different in shape. I personally adore half cups and would wear them every day if I could! I think it looks good, personally. Comexim 3HC has the most projection at the wire of any bra I've tried (even more than EM CHP) - it simply does not budge when I have it on.

    • 1

Since i havent had a half cup (in decades anyways) I was just wanting to make sure this looks like a fit, not like a too-big halfcup being cinched up by the straps

    • 1

Looks great on you! I think it fits you. The extra fabric is I think a comexim thing like roxannelovesbras. It can be removed by requesting 'reduced cups' imo. Btw, I asked the moved in straps 2cm for the records.

    • Thanks - also, just to be sure, I folded the bra over - the cups seem to be identical. I've seen a lot of ppl having weird problems and the bra looks so uneven on me, but I guess its just me, being uneven in the bra!

    • once again i'm really grateful that my boobs are low. I mean, i dont like the way it LOOKs, as I'm not quite 5'2, but at least tall bras dont pinch my armpits

    • 1

I don't think they do reduced cup on the half cup from what I read ..but may be wrong .
Em wires are almost to soft I have been thinking about comexim but if they are more flexible idk wonder if they would double up on the underwires hmm . I think if you took a dart where the wrinkles are it would get rid of them and give a bit of lift I have wrinkles there in almost all my bras and put a dart in most of them . The bra just thinks you have boob where you don't , or keep chapstick there ;) . I think it does look like you are having to tighten the straps a lot to get the lift something I tend to do as well.

I think it's a pretty bra and what a lovely shape makes me want a half cup too . A unlined half cup sigh so pretty it only comes in black right? So nice seeing it on someone my size range and height . I am thinking half cups would suit me well just need to figure out the sizing .

    • 2

@lvp oh they do on the bigger size like 80k~, not much though.

    • 1

I know this is an old review, but I saw the mention that this was an UNLINED bra, and thought I would share my own experience with the unlined 70HH - Comexim Ā» Emily Full Cup (85), and what Jaimie @ BraObsessed had to say.

So my usual size in Comexim is 70HH/J*, at least in the black-banded Comexims I've tried so far, but the Emily ran quite big all over and I would've needed at least a 65HH in it.

      * for some reason Comexim does an HH cup _instead_ of an I.

The Emily is one of very few bras where I felt the need to tighten the straps a lot (like you describe doing), but it still didn't alleviate the sense I had that the bra was doing very little to support my boobs -- definitely not a problem I have had in either of the padded Comexims I've tried.

When I showed pictures of the Emily to Jaimie, I could sense her wrinkling her nose, and she told me that she's not a fan of Comexim's older unlined bras because of exactly the cup problems I was having. She says they're not as supportive as their padded bras, and that only the newer mesh styles (like the Comexim Naomi Balcony Bra (418) ) can hold a candle to EM's unlined styles!

So if you can find another padded Comexim for offer that seems like it would match your measurements, I would suggest giving the brand another try. :|a

    • 1

Thanks. There was a blogger who wore pretty big padded comexims and I just didnt like the way they looked. But who knows. Maybe some day

I got this bra used off another bratabaser, so it seemed too good a chance to pass up

    • 1

dbmamaz we are very similar in size and I have to say that I tried a padded half cup and it was a failure . Even after adding additional underwires to the "stronger " ones that came with it , putting two wires in each channel there is still collapsing of the cup after short wearing it's honestly just not strong enough fabrics throughout for very large not self supporting breast . your lace one looks to support you better than I get out of the foam cup. I put the brand on my it's just not for the very endowed .

  15. Beauty Half Cup (355)

I ordered this beauty (haha) with reduced cup hight, centre gore, straps moved in and as a 3HC.

I do own another comexim 3HC in 65HH and this bra feels much smaller then the 65HH, but it gives me the most AMAZING cleavage! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I am wearing this bra for about 3 hours now and I didn't have to replace it once! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> (unlinke the mint plunge, which I had to replace every couple of minutes btw)

So what else is there to say.. I love it! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This bra is not owned any more

Just curious, what is the cup height with the reduction? It does look great on you too. I wish I had ordered this one on my last order, but I decided on the Charme instead.

    • 1

      Thank you girls! :)

I messured 14,5 cm cup hight.
I decided to go for the charme for my last order asmell, but now I must honestly say that I prefer the eastethics of beauty (and mint)!

gratiat Thanks! It's great to have a plunge bra that holds my boobs in :)

    • 2

Yay, I'm so glad it worked out! It looks fantastic on you. Those shorter wires are heaven, aren't they? :) Was this a standard Comexim or did it have any alterations? (If you addressed this in the review already, I apologize!)

    • 1

BumbleBean Yes, the shorter wires are great! I never knew how much I wanted them until I had them :) Great question! It's a standard Comexim.

  17. Sonia Half Cup (406)

After about a year of wondering whether or not I should try Comexim, I went ahead and placed an order. My size is outside of what they list on their website, but they were willing to make it for me anyway. I ordered Sonia in a three-part half cup, size 85K, with the straps moved in 2cm and cookie pockets added to the insides of the cups. The size was a guess, but it appears I guessed right!

The bra is, first of all, absolutely gorgeous - pictures simply do not do it justice. The peachy-pink of the cups, overlaid with the silver lace, is just beautiful. The straps ... are a different color - a nice darker tan - and the gore and straps are decorated with bows made up of two ribbons, one in each color. The pink is too dark to be a real nude on me, but it still blends close enough that it's not very visible under a thin shirt. The way the seaming is done on the cups is virtually invisible under a thin shirt. I find it much less noticeable than the seams on my EMs.

The bra is also very, very comfortable. The straps are fully adjustable, which isn't something I need but is nice just the same, and they are not too far apart for me. The padding of the bra itself is actually thinner than I had expected, which is nice - it's already getting to be too warm for padded bras where I live, so it's nice to know I can actually wear this bra right now. Also, because the padding is thinner, I don't get bunching around the armpit area, like happens with my EMs.

As for the fit...it actually fits me pretty well! Due to my shape - very projected, narrow, very short roots, lots of bottom fullness - I have a tricky time getting a good fit in most bras. The gore doesn't tack completely, but Comexim has very soft wires so I was expecting that to be the case; if I press it down I do not get any quadding. There is plenty of projection at the wire (which I need), and a good amount of space in the center (which I also need). The cups are just a hair too tall, especially towards the center on my smaller size, but I adjusted the straps and stuck a pair of cookies in from one of my EMs, which makes up almost all of the difference - the pictures are before I adjusted the straps. Under a shirt there's only a tiny bit of a crease on my smaller size where the cup sticks up just a tiny bit too much. The wires are shorter than the channels, so I adjusted them so that the empty space is in the gore which helps it sit a bit more closely. The band runs just slightly less than true to size; I went with 85 instead of 80 and it measures just under 38" stretched. The wires are a good width for me, and while the wings measure as being high, they don't poke my armpits at all.

I will absolutely be ordering from Comexim again. I love EM, and CHP is amazing for me, but 3HC works almost as well, costs a lot less, and I can get customizations done on it for free. That right there makes it a winner for me, and I am very pleased with this. I think if I order a 3HC with a lowered gore and overlapping wires, that'll solve the few small fit issues I have with this bra.

Thank you for this! I will definitely be ordering this when I can. Probably as an 80L, or M. 80K was too small for me as a plunge and this is supposed to run smaller than the plunges.

    • 1

      No problem!

I find that this bra has a bit more room in the cup than my 80GG CHP - the measurement difference is small (about a quarter of an inch) but I feel like the cups are a little bit taller in this (cup shape is also slightly different). I went up a band size because every measurement for Sonia pointed at it running small, but it's more TTS than I expected so I think I'll be safe (and you'll be as well) with an 80 next time.

    • Thanks for the review, it looks great! I have this exact bra in the same size on the way :D With the extra alterations of reduced cup and gore..I am so looking forward to it being ready! How long did it take for Comexim to make it?

    • Just about three weeks, though Easter also happened after I ordered which apparently slowed their stuff down a bit.

    • Oh, that's not too long, especially considering Easter and the customizations :)

    Hasn't set fit

This bra is to die for! Black mesh over a beige background, lashings of floral and scalloped lace, pleated ribbon edging and a gigantic satin center bow. The straps have a slight glossy sheen in the center and gold hardware. Itā€™s romantic, sexy, and a little vintage lookingā€¦ the quality is excellent and all the details make this bra look more expensive than it really is. I was worried about how the bottoms would fit, as Comexim seems to run on the smaller side and Iā€™m quite paranoid about panties digging into my fleshy sides. However, the matching thong in medium was a good fit on my 36ā€ ... hips, and together with the bra it really makes for a beautiful set!

The fit by all accounts is true to size for a standard 60J. The band felt extremely firm when I first tried it on, but after a couple wears itā€™s much more comfortable, sitting snug and totally parallel around my back. It has four sets of hooks rather than three, which is a nice option to have as far as extending the lifespan of your bra. The way the ribbon is gathered and stitched along the top of the cup doesn't close it off, the way that the ribbon on Brigitte does, for example. It will show faintly beneath thin, non-opaque shirts, but on the whole it's remarkably smooth beneath heavier t-shirts and dresses.

Like my other unaltered Comexim plunges, I could do with a bit more center projection, or maybe a lowered gore; the gore tacks at the bottom but refuses to touch my sternum at the top. However, when I do press it fully against my chest, thereā€™s no quadding (Iā€™ve included pictures of this for reference https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The black mesh wrinkles just a bit at the sides of the cup on my smaller side where there is just some slight emptiness, but overall the cup volume seems pretty perfect.

That is one beautiful bra. I am blaming you for my comexim purchase :p

    • 1

I was unsure about this bra when I saw it on Comexim's website, but seeing it on you it looks amazing. I think I might need to get one now.

    • Did you special request the 4x fastener?

    • Thank you SiliconeJulie and amandafire! You guys won't regret it! Haha. BronteBeach no, I didn't. I ordered without any alterations at all... at first I thought it was just a feature of Comexim's new collection, but now looking at the other bras' measurements it looks like mine was a fluke!

    • That looks awesome on you! I ordered the matching set and had the bra altered to be a longline. I'm waiting for it to arrive and now I'm even more excited for it :)

    • Ah ok! I have it in 60HH so I was just wondering cause mine has only 3x2 fastener^^
      Lucky you :)

    • I love the Charme, it's definitely on my wishlist as well! Looks great on you :)

    • Would this be a good fit for 28GG, or should I move to 60K? Thank you!

    • bubblepop this one fits more like a 28G, so I'd probably suggest sticking with a 60K!

    • Thank you!

This bra is gorgeous!! I received it from Anya99, and it fits perfectly. the straps are moved as an alteration. As someone with a short torso, I appreciate the straps being able to extend all the way back so that the wire sits properly on my IMF. my boobs are OUT, as in they are so lifted up and prominent in tighter clothes, it makes me look like i got some work donehttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> I thought the cups were too big until I scooped and swooped. I appreciate the three row hooks and thick straps, and overall, my boobs look and feel awesome.

  20. Clara Plunge Bra

    60L

    Hasn't set fit

She's upper roomy, and bottom clingy, Clara is. One for the super projected and small of root. Perhaps also, the high set and certainly the center full!

Well the bra angels have heard our annual pleas, and Breakout put out a bunch of Comexims down on clearance. For some stupid reason I've been sticking it out with the same main 3 that mostly fit the last half year instead of size up like sane persons do. Once the call came out about a sale in my size range, I swept in on this one with the reckless stupid abandon usually reserved for impulsive children and starving dogs. ... Finally something well and truly stunning! In time for new years! Do I dare assume to be fancy? Would 2023 herald my return to human decency??? Yes, it was decided. Time to be foolhardy.

Who needs to double check how sizes run? Nay not I, and thus caution was thrown way to the side. Take my money, Breakout! Woohoo, visions of classy livid lace danced before my greedy eyes as I snagged the matching undies knowing the thin line of certain disaster my wide, short derriere was dead set on flirting with. What could possibly go wrong with a figure made entirely of contradictory parts? Which rarely if anything, ever fits?
And then suddenly as my fever began, for a piddling meager couple of days I fretted over my folly. Ugh I shouldn't have bought something sight unseen when cups virtually always run tight and tall. Gods help me what if a 60 is too loose? Luckily when Clara came to me I was ready for something, anything, lower cut than eyeball high Panaches which have sufficed and sawed into my armpits for time being.

Out of this recent batch in 60L the Clara feels deeper at the very apex while measuring the same depth as my other new comexims. It's wide but satiny straps are set about average width, sewn to the upper band 8" from the gore. Thankfully there is just enough for my tall shoulders, but just so. The plastic slider is silent but probably prone to adjusting itself too easily. Clara's high quality stretch mesh band is secure on the first hook which for 28 feels impressive, thought I worry with favortism this could wear down faster as this does a basic stretch of 27, and can stretch up to 29ish long. I can very much appreciate that the elastic and mesh are cut to the same amount of give in the band. Because a lot of reputable brands don't bother so the band both digs while riding up, further allowing the cups to tilt to all hell. Tsk tsk.

I've done a lot of hard time in too-tall underwires, where there's no dignity in the red marks left on my sternum and the nasty stabby fat bulging at the armpit (gorsenia u shits give us a decent plunge!). Honestly a very tall wire on the outside always floats up over my side fullness and fiercely aggravates something like lymph, or heaven forbid breast tissue that goes all the way to my shoulder blades. Such is the curse of having a wide flat thin ribcage. Well the wires on Clara should be just big enough to let me seep over them but the cups contain me on the sides fully, and not dig into my under arm or tail of spence either, hence the wires in this style sit firmly and gently along my IMF instead of shanking me in the side like they got beef.

Gore is just narrow enough to tolerate being 2.7" tall, there's plenty of space at my inner lower breast (for now, ominous dum da da dum drum roll). Yes I should've expected an even bigger cup in the same style that wasn't awful before on me, would tolerate my heavy side boob and not squash my lower front breast to bits. But I've been tricked before and learned not to trust anything. Welcome to my world where it usually happens no matter how round and spacious a cup is rumored to fit, anyways. Clara proving herself short deep and voluminous here may mean disaster for the taller and narrow, this could might be a cup that fits too loose starting at about half or 3/4 inch out from the wire.

I guess all that's left to fuss over is the potential for the inner cup lining to be coarser than I like. Even though it's a very fine cotton knit over thin foam, that does quite well with breathing and breaking in softer. And of course keeping this pretty lace from snagging. It's sturdy but stretchy, and as all things fine and pretty prone to catching on stray trinkets at inopportune moments.
