Today I (finally) received my parcel from Bravissimo. I had ordered the Andorra Full Cup in two sizes. The 30H and 30HH. After ordering I came to the conclusion that I should have ordered a 30HH and 30J instead, as people say to size up. So when I received them, I put on the 30HH as I figured ... the other would be way too small. The 30HH was small. Maybe lets call it 10% too small. However the wire shouldn't be any wider, but maybe just a tad narrower. It's not annoying though, and since I'm in the process of losing weight, the cup could probably fit soon. But! The wire is so deep. It keeps sliding down my body and my first thought is that because the cup is small, the weight of my breasts are pushing it down. I don't find the wire narrow at the bottom, just deep. I figured a cup up could solve the cup issue, but probably make the wire too wide. I was fairly decided on ordering the 30J.
Now comes the weird part. To check how much bigger I needed it, I decided to try on the smaller one, the 30H. I was thinking I probably couldn't even force it on. But I could. It also too small. But not more too small than the HH. The cup is maybe still 10% too small. The wire is a tad narrow - it should be between the H and HH. But in this size (the small one), the wire didn't slide down my body. The weight/size of my breasts were not pushing the wires down. They were simply not as deep as the HH cup.
If I had tried on the 30H first, I would have thought I needed a 30HH. But with the 30HH I would think I needed a 30J. But after trying the 30H and comparing with the 30HH, I think the 30J would have too deep wires. I simply don't believe my boobs are pushing the wire down, when they don't do it on the smaller size. I've placed the wires on top of each other and the HH is 2 cm deeper and only 0.5 cm wider than the H.
Neither fits, but a cup up won't fix it. I think they could fit though but maybe not before 3-4 kgs further into my weightloss. The shape is better in the H though slightly pointy due to it being too small. But the HH has a more flat/squished look that sits low. I had to check the tags several times, and they seem to give equal coverage.
I'm not sayin I'll keep it, but if I was (and I lost a few more kgs),
Should I go for the slightly narrow wire(poking in one side), but sits correctly on my body(nice!), and the cup is too small? (30H)
Or the comfortable wire width, which slides annoyingly down(hurts), and the cup is too small?(30HH)
I can't believe that it makes sense (for me) that the smaller one fits better, when they are both too small. If I lost weight, the wire would still slide down/be too deep on the HH, but would it still be narrow/poking on the H?
Does anyone have similar experiences with the wires, or with too small bras, where the smaller fit better?
I know this may sound like a fit request, and I'll probably make one. But I'm curious about how/why the wire acts this way? I heard that the Andorra is deceiving and people think it fits, when it still too small. So I also have that in mind. But I simply can't imagine the 30J having a wire that fits.
