  1. Andorra Non Wired Bra (5671)

    Didn't fit

I've tried every version of the Andorra in a range of sizes (28D/28DD/28E, 30D/30DD), so it's about time for me to give the Wireless version a try! I saw this on sale through Nordstrom, however 28E wasn't available, so I ordered the 28F as the stretch lace cups in my Andorra Full Cup felt like it could give a flexible fit.

However, I didn't realize that the Andorra Wireless' cups are lined with rigid mesh, so they do not stretch as I had expected. The cup fits my larger side OK, but is clearly too large for my smaller side, which looks deflated and sad. I ... tried these with my Commando Takeouts, which add a full cup size, and it does fit well with the inserts, so I do believe that the cups run true to size. However, the fullness in the cups is at the bottom, so it gives a bit of a bottom-heavy pointy shape rather than a rounded one. I plan to try this in a 28E when I can get my hands on one for a reasonable price, because the band fits well as expected compared to my other Andorra bras, and I've found that the regular Andorra in your correct size gives a really nice rounded shape.

Like the other bras in the Andorra family, this is made from the same stretch floral lace as the outer layer, though the cups are lined with mesh in this style and don't stretch. The wings are the same firm powermesh found in the other Andorra styles, and the elastic band at the bottom is extra firm and wide since there is no wire for lift and stability. The elastic at the front shares the same crossover construction at the cradle that makes the regular Andorra feel so stable. Detail-wise, it is very similar to the other styles from this family.

This is my first modern soft cup bra, and I was surprised at how much support it provided. The cups are a four piece seamed cup with side sling, similar to the regular Andorra, but the side sling here is a separate panel instead of the internal mesh sling in the regular Andorra. The cups are also bigger, taller, and much wider. The portion of the cup with the sling will wrap around your rib cage a bit even if you do not have breast tissue there--this is normal. The wings are also much taller in order to provide the support and stability you would normally get from the wire. As a result, the gore is also much taller in this bra.

I read a review once that compared this construction to a true vintage soft cup bra, and I do believe that this bra is really well constructed. Some people have had issues with the fit, but I think it is crucial to get the correct size in this style, and the fitting expectations should be different between an underwired bra and a true soft cup bra. I am very pleased with this bra even though this one wasn't quite my size, and am looking forward to giving it another try in my normal size of 28E.

The gore is too wide on this bra. I ordered a 30DD earlier but it was too small in the cups and too big in the band, so I got 28F instead, which is my usual size. I don't know why the 30DD came with an overlapped gore, but the 28F didn’t, so I took it apart and narrowed the gore. It gives a more comfortable and better fit when the cups are less far apart. There is some quadding along the centre at all times of my cycle. My boobs are bulging out the cups along the edge of the cups. There is also some wrinkling near ... the wires, but minimal and not a big problem. The wires are too wide, but every UK bra does that on me. The band is quite lose. I've only worn this bra a few times and already on the tightest hook. And it still feels like the wires are riding up or sliding down sometimes. I think this bra would be great for someone who has top and centre fullness and projected boobs like mine. Size is the major issue for me here.

I've only worn this bra once or twice since I bought it, but I do like it. I bought it at Secrets From Your Sister in Toronto, Ontario because it was on clearance, and therefore 50% off. It has a good firm band; the wires are a touch on the wide side for me, but it doesn't really bother me; the straps are a little wide set, but again it doesn't bother me too much; it gives a pointy shape due to the stiff laminated material of the bottom half (so I'll be wearing this with thicker sweaters or when I'm intentionally going for a pointy look); the ... stretch lace top is comfortable, but probably contributes to the pointy look; it's super projected (so I had to size down one cup); on a scale of 1-10 has a 6 or 7 in immediate projection at the wire (as far as I can tell); and the gore tacks on me, although I can see it being too wide for some people. It's definitely not the cutest bra ever, as I don't normally go for animal prints, but it's usually hidden anyway so whatever.

UHG! This does not have the same shape as the full cup! I am really disappointed because the full cup was too pointy for my preference and while this one isn't pointy, it doesn't fit the the Andorra full cup https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I think I would need a more tear dropped shape root and more upper fullness? I'm really not sure though because it almost fits until I exhale and then I can't fill the top. I'm really upset that this bra doesn't work because I really really wanted the full cup to work and this was supposed to be a great choice if the full cup was pointy for your tastes.

    • Ya know, you can't fault them for their colours. They are outstanding. Too bad about the change in shape, though.

    • 1

No kidding! Their bras are soo pretty that I'd consider see through tops for them!

    • 1

Seriously! I think it would be a great look.

  5. Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675)

I love love love this bra BUT goddamn, it's pointy!
It fits almost perfectly, just the tiniest amount of wrinkling in the nipple area, but only when I'm not standing straight up. It's just super pointy.
The side support paneling is super, comforting? Same with the tightness of the band. It's hard to describe how amazing this bra feels. Putting it on was almost like a relief! I love the color and the fabric is PERFECT. Seriously, I don't want to take it off. Ever.
ARGH! Why is it sooooo pointy? I am so torn on this bra. I LOVE IT, but I don't like how pointy it is. I tried it with a bunch of t-shirts and just can't do it. I don't mind regular pointy, but this is like WHOA pointy. It's also juuuust too small for me to add some nipple covers to try and even it out.
I guess I could try it in 28FF? Not sure though.

    • I think it looks really good on you. Scrumptious colourway. As for pointy? Nahhhh. Just your imagination. I have this same bra in a 40F and I love *love* *LOVE* it. I agree, it is very comfortable and supportive. I do think the band runs tight. Sadly, I'm starting to quad out, and a 40 band is now too big for me. I've been looking into replacing it with the plunge version, with appropriate cup- and band- size adjustments.

But then again, if I could find a Triumph Doreen Non-wired Bra at a good price, I'd buy it without a second thought.

    • It's absolutely my favorite color and I'm really kinda sad about the bra.. Even if the pointiness is in my head, it's still there and would bother me wearing it in public.
I'm still thinking about keeping the bra, but it's $37 and that's expensive for me for a bra. I'm planning on trying it tomorrow with more flowy tops and forcing nipple covers in there.. but I'm not holding out much hope.

    • Yea, I get that. Money's money, and when you're spending hard-earned money, you'd better be very happy with what you've bought. If I were you, I'd not even try making it work. You'll always feel uncomfortable with it, just *knowing* it's pointy, even if you can somehow obscure that.

Too many times I've fallen into that same trap, and eventually I'd stop wearing or using whatever it was.

    • 1

Didn't they discontinue the andorra plunge version? I only have the balconette/full cup style, in a couple of colors.

That said, this bra in 32FF gives me a more 'natural' shaped silhouette rather than the very rounded modern t-shirt bra shape that has been popular for a while now. However, I prefer the 'natural' shaping given that's the appearance my boobs tend to take on in shape when left to their own devices. If I ever run into a person who has an issue with this sort of shape doesn't have to look at my boobs! ;)

    • 1

Maybe they did discontinue it. I've seen them around, though. I'm with you about shape. I am completely over the round mound boobs look. That's why I *love* unlined/unpadded bras, because of the more natural shaping and the ability of the breast to move, and to show the movement.

    • 1

I think that boobies in all their many shapes and sizes should be accepted. We get but one life and the body we showed up in is what we have to work with, why not embrace the beauty of differences instead of trying to conform everyone to a particular standard. If I had a Tardis, I'd go back and prevent whoever decided that all boobs should be conformed into the t-shirt bra shape from actually making it happen. And then I'd eliminate Hitler, before doing a bunch of other stuff.

    • From my experience (but I've read it elsewhere too) the shape could get somewhat rounder if you size up one cup from your usual Panache size. I didn't get along with the side slings but shapewise the one cup up worked out for me.
Certainly it would be easier to fit in the nipple covers in a higher size. But before you go for this option I would consider if more cup width would be OK for you fitwise.

    • I added photos of me wearing nipple covers in the bra in a thick sweater. Wearing them helped but I still feel like I'm perpetually showing off headlights, even though I'm not.
I am going to look into a higher size for the full cup option, but the cup width is perfect in this size, so I'm not 100% sold on the idea. (Unless there are free returns) I've also decided to grab a Plunge version because I was told that cut is slightly more round and if it's discontinued I gotta try it while I can find my size!
I usually like the more natural look for breasts, but this doesn't look natural to me, it looks forced. I'll keep an eye on this size on amazon too in case the price goes down considerably, then I might snatch it up and wear it on lazy days.

The regular porcelain didn't fit me- the top dug in and sizing up didn't help, but I heard this one might just work. I was looking for a black bra where the straps wouldn't be too obvious with black spaghetti strap tanks.

This bra is designed for really shallow breasts. The underwires are really wide- too wide for me. The top of the bra doesn't dig in, and has some give. The band is true to size, maybe even a little snug.

I get some orange in the glass effect- I think probably because the wires are wide, and the bottom of the cups are really shallow.

If it wasn't for the cup width and the shallowness, I'd say it's a pretty good bra. The straps aren't too wide, and the material is smooth.

A pretty, classic bra that almost, almost fits me: I get a very slight "orange in a glass" effect with a tiny bit of wrinkling just above the nipple because because I have quite firm, a bit bottom-heavy breasts and it's a plunge style; I generally do better with balconette styles. I do need a plunge bra for low-cut tops though, and the wrinkles are so slight that they're not visible underneath a shirt, so it doesn't really bother me.

The straps are fully adjustable, and I think the slightly-glossy embroidery ferns are very sweet. The cups of the bra are quite sheer. I find it otherwise extremely ... comfortable and well-fitting. The band seems nice and tight (I think I could actually do with a 26 if they made one, so I like Panache bras because they usually have tight bands). I will update this review if the band stretches out faster than usual.

Like most Panache bras, it does tend to give me a slightly more pointy shape than I would like, but it's not unnatural or unnattractive by any means, and would probably disappear entirely on someone with a bit fuller-on-top breasts.

I love this bra! No fit issues whatsoever, and the material is so soft that it's incredibly comfortable to wear. So comfortable, in fact, that the first time I wore it after I tried it on I wore it the whole day and didn't even notice! I've never been able to do that with a brand new bra before: I always have to wear them for a few hours at a time until they're 'broken in' enough to be comfortable enough for all-day wear.

The band seems to be nice and tight (I'm closer to a 26 than a 28, so I do prefer a tighter band, which is ... why I like Panache as a brand). I'll update this review if the band stretches out more quickly than usual. The underwire also sits perfectly on me, with no poking, and the straps are certainly adjustable enough for me. One possible slight downside is the shape it gives me: I prefer a slightly rounder shape and in this bra my breasts are a little pointy, but in a natural way, not in a Madonna kind of way! But for all the upsides about this bra, I'm prepared to get used to it.

I have it in nude and teal, and I have a feeling that this will be my go-to bra in other colours in the future. And it looks gorgeous too: the lace design and the rosebud on the centre gore are very pretty, and in teal it is reminiscent of peacock feathers!

The band fits great, and that's about it. The fabric inside of the cups is way too thick to have in a seamed bra. The cups are also made very narrow and shallow at the bottoms, so even though I fill out the entire center and top of the cup, my breasts do not sit in the bottom. But I guess that's why they consider this a push up bra. It doesn't give a round look from the side. The bottoms of the cups are angled up but the tops remain round. It just looks akward. It does give great cleavage though, and it feels supportive. Perhaps if this was made with a normal moulded cup like the Freya Deco, and it didn't have seams this bra would fit excellent.

the jasmine works well for my center full/FOT shape, but i think i lack the immediate projection at the wires for it. i get some wrinkling at the wire.

i was worried that the gore was going to be too wide but i don't mind it as much as i thought i would, maybe because it doesn't push my boobs too close together. the shape is really lifted and pretty: natural but not too pointy. the wire width itself is fine, but the stretch lace on top of the left cup with my smaller boob wrinkles a tiny bit.

the mesh is a bit stiff and uncomfortable unfortunately.

i have to say the stretch lace is super soft and the plain band is comfy also. FOB projected with average root width might have better luck than me.

the band is definitely looser than most other 28 bands but it still fits well. i get a bit of side sling pressing in for a single colorway (sweet lavender) but not so much for my jewel blue. i'm going to pick up a few more colorways.

I'm happy I found Clara in a 28-band. It fits much better than my 30F. I have minimal quadding on my larger side in this bra, but it doesn't impact the appearance through clothes. Interestingly, I have a smidge of quadding in size 28FF, too.

The bra is beautiful. I love this Sienna color, but I also have it in Navy (28FF), lavender (30F), & opal gray (30F). They are all stunning, but I'm especially attracted to this color.

This bra accommodates my soft, asymmetric tissue. I understand this bra is recommended for FoB shapes, but it works for my FoT breasts, too. It's very comfortable. Trying it on for this review reminded me of that!

I would call this a 'sling' bra - due to the thin material that is used for the cups. See my review for Freya Expression High Apex Bra. It felt like a similar, scratchy material to that.

Unfortunately this Panache bra made me look like 2 wrinkly small sacks of potatoes! The bra was a brownish 'nude' colour (Nude Caramel from the website). There was just no uplift whatsoever. As soon as I tried it on I felt like the underwires were trying to stab me in the middle of my chest. The band size seemed ok and not too loose or tight. I'd hoped a balconette bra would give a good shape and support but there was no shaping or anything worth keeping this bra for, so I had to return it.

This bra works well for my wide-set and wide-rooted shape. I'm projected + full on bottom and the cups just barely contain me; some extra projection would be nice but it's good enough for a molded cup.

I appreciate the soft and smooth material, the fully adjustable straps, the ability to convert to a racerback, and the way that the details are printed on the fabric instead of on a tag. I have the "Sunset" colorway, which is a semi-shiny bubblegum pink that works well as an invisible nude color under thinner shirts for light skin tones. The minimal amount of padding is perfect for what I'm looking for in a molded bra: just enough to provide nipple coverage, but not so much that the bra feels stuffed up or that the breasts visually appear larger.

I'm more full on bottom, and this is my first bra where the lace on top molds to my shape instead of wrinkling if I pull my arms forward/to the middle. I have no issues with this bra except for one nitpick, which is that the strap details can be a bit scratchy sometimes and get in the way of strap adjustment. I appreciate that the straps are fully adjustable though.

There is some very slight wrinkling on the bottom of the cups that I can feel if I rub around there with my fingers, but there's no feeling of empty space in the cup at all and it isn't visibly apparent. I think this is related to a lack of immediate projection, but it seems ok with overall projection for me.

This is my favorite bra based off of aesthetics alone and it has beautifully intricate details. It offers an uplifted forward-facing shape without being compressive on the sides, which is nice for wide shapes like mine.

    • Although I am late to the party, I appreciate your review. I own 2 of these bras in 30F (Navy/pearl and Opal Grey). After seeing your review, I went straight to Bravissimo, & lo & behold, they still offer 28 bands! I have a 28F on the way. It was available in a sale colorway, too! 🎉

This is one of few bras that does NOT irritate my arms where the straps meet the cups. Like you, I love the aesthetics of the Clara.

I am more FoT with soft, asymmetric breasts. Interestingly, I have a smidge of *space* at the bottom & side of my smaller side-by-feel only as well. I have the slightest spillage on my larger side in my newer 30F, whereas in my older Clara, there is no spillage. Perhaps the lace relaxed with wear & hand washing.

Regardless, it is one of my favorite bras. I'm happy I found your post, as 28F is usually my best fit!

Beautiful bra but doesn’t give me the shape or lift that Cleo Marcie does. Band is comfortable, wires are not uncomfortable except at the gore where they dig in if I bed over.
I do have some quadding, but more because the lace doesn’t stretch enough than because the cup is too small.
