  1. Cari Moulded Spacer Bra (7961)

So, here's my first review of four, which I'll complete in the next few days. First of all, I didn't even realize that the Panache Cari (or any spacer foam bra for that matter) came in my size until Broad Lingerie posted it on their Instagram a month ago. I was immediately attracted to it because of the beautiful colour, but I didn't know if it would actually work for me or not. So, when I was in Toronto the last couple days, I knew I had to make a trip out to try it on, and spoiler alert, I was pleasantly surprised!

Next, we can all see how ... beautiful the appearance is. I love the unique colour, which works as a nude for me, and I love the geometric lace on the bridge which has a beautiful sheen to it. The finishes are so clean and so professional.

This bra is honestly a bit of a revelation for me, because as I said earlier, I never even realized that spacer foam bras came in my size, but it has already become a favourite of mine. The foam moves with my body because it is very thin and flexible, and there is potential for nipple show-through, but most of the time that's not an issue for me. I've worn it for about ten hours since I got it, including a four hour waitressing shift, and it didn't budge and it was extremely comfortable and light on my body. I forgot I was wearing it. It fits well on either the loosest or the middle hook, depending on the day and how I'm feeling. The wires are a tiny bit wide, but not enough to bother me. The only potential fit issue is that the top edge is on the verge of cutting into my tall roots, so if I gain any weight I may get some quadboob going on.

Overall I'm extremely happy with it and I look forward to hopefully a long relationship with it!

Great review, sherrach898 ! Panache Cari looks great on you! What a perfect t-shirt bra for you!

    • learningaboutbras Thank you! I agree! It completely disappears under my finicky white tshirt lol. I also like that it gives a slightly minimized appearance from the side.

Gorgeous bra, what an awesome pattern. Glad it works out so well for you!

    • Sovavosi Thank you, I agree :)

Wow! It looks great on you! I’ve been told that I should try this one. But I’d need a band size up to 30F. Thanks for a great review!

MY SHAPE: round, projected, even, tall roots, close set, on the narrow end of average root width.

THE TAKEAWAY: Elegant plunge style gives a more natural shape with low apex. Good for those who are wider set and/or outer full. This bra wants more separation than you'd think for a plunge! Ladies who are centerfull, look elsewhere.

DETAILS: _Love_ this elegant gray number with contrasting cranberry bow! So very pretty. I'm a fan of plunges because I'm so close set, and the gore on this is super low and comfy (the underwires overlap at the center), but unfortunately this is otherwise a shape mismatch for me. There's an internal side ... sling in the cups which pushes my breast tissue towards the center, but not only does the side sling awkwardly indent into my breasts, there's also not enough cup fabric towards the center to adequately contain my already centerfull breasts. Thank goodness for stretch lace because it partially hides this fit issue from the front; however, I still get some minor quadding out of both cups. Sizing up won't help because the cups are already about 1/4-1/2" too wide for me.

Shape-wise this is similar to the Cleo Piper, a less lifted, more natural shape. It's very slightly pointy, but no torpedo boobs like the Jasmine due to a lower apex. No cleavage to speak of. Those who are FoT might get slight cakes-on-plate if you don't quad out of the stretch lace first...

I had a feeling this might have a stretchy band, so I sized down to a 28F. It's not crazy stretchy; I'm on the lower end of a 30 band and this wears like a slightly loose 28 (stretches to about 29"). I would not recommend sizing down unless you're in the bottom of your current band size.

For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11"). This was the first bra I kept when I started my ABTF journey, so it holds a special place in my heart despite a couple fit issues.

The band is quite tight for a 28 bra (64cm/25in stretched), but it seems to have loosened up a bit with some wear. I was wearing 34D bras previously, so that could also be why I felt the band was extremely tight in the beginning. The wires are a little too wide for me, so I feel like they flatten my breast tissue out towards my armpits and give me a minimizing look rather than pulling my tissue forward and up like my Comexim bras (which I prefer more). The wires are very firm, and the gore tacks. The cups are quite high on the sides and cut into my armpits badly. Besides that, it's a great choice for a spacer bra that provides good projection.

I've thought about getting this bra quite a few times. It looks good on you! Too bad it cuts into your armpit so badly.

    • 1

This is actually a decent fit on me as well, as center full, narrow and shirt roots. I'm typically a 34E but the band on this is very firm, so a 36DD is my best fit.

    • Wilderness1 Thank you! I do think it's a great bra despite the cup height digging into my arms. I think that's just something I'll have to get used to in a bra that isn't modified for my frame.

This bra gets top marks for being the most comfortable bra I have owned so far. It fits in the sense that there is minimal wrinkling in the cups, that the fabric doesn’t dig in to any sensitive points (such as the armpits), and the fact the band has a fair amount of give without being too loose. Do bear this in mind if you find you’re in between sizes!

The material is another plus. who doesn’t love soft lace that stretches and doesn’t torture the skin around your underbust?

I’d say it technically doesn’t fit perfectly as the cups do measure rather wide especially for my roots, although I ... think that’s a common design feature of many non-wired, non-padded bras. I haven’t experienced any ill effects, like chafing, because of this.

You may or may not have noticed it gives a more vintage “pointed” look to the bust. Personally, I do like this but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea hence why I wanted to point this out (mind the unintentional pun).

I will also note that the straps of this bra seem shorter than most I’ve tried. Being 5ft 3 (161cm) I’m rather petite in the torso but I haven’t had to adjust the straps too much.

In conclusion, I really adore this bra and it makes me wonder if the wired full cup version will also treat me well.

  5. Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675)

    General comments:

This is the first bra I've ever tried that actually fits me perfectly. The band is nice and snug at the loosest hook, the wires encircle my breasts comfortably as they should , the cups are well filled out without wrinkling, spilling or cutting in anywhere, the shape they give me is natural but nice and rounded and not too East-West for a change, in short: everything is perfect!

    Bra description:

A handsome full-cup bra made out of black stretch lace partly underlined with a sheer, very smooth, non-stretch mesh. The whole appearance is quite delicate and subtly sheer. The 'side support slings' on the inside of the cups ... are made out the same smooth, sheer mesh material that is folded double so there's no rough, bumpy or overlocked edge touching the breasts.

    Fit:

As said, the fit of this bra is the best I've ever had of any bra. The band closes snugly without feeling constricting at the loosest hook, a very first for me. The centre gore stays lies nice and flat. The underwires are suitably wide (but not overly so) and they feel very comfortable. Apparently, a correctly fitting band DOES make all the difference https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

The cups give me a good shape, nothing dramatic, but I'm very happy with it. It's definitely the best I've ever had from a non-padded bra: supported and nicely rounded. I particularly like how my breasts are finally facing FORWARD, instead of their usual East-West. The stretch lace at the top of the cups is forgiving and does not cut in. Although I haven't worn it for very long yet, I feel can comfortably wear this bra despite my fluctuating size (breastfeeding).

The only thing to watch out for in this bra is to not tighten the straps too much. Pull them too tight ant the 'side support sling' will cause a slightly odd shape in the cups: a kind of indentation at the edge of the sling. My 'pear-shaped' breasts (relatively wide base topped with a puffy areola) actually HAVE an indentation at that point naturally so maybe this is something that isn't very noticeable in other breast shapes, but I though I'd mention it anyway.

    Appearance:

On me it is indeed a very full cup. I like the look and I'm not concerned with the lace showing under low-cut shirts as it's definitely pretty enough and I prefer seeing lace over cleavage anyway, but if that is not your thing then this is maybe not the bra for you. The bra is pretty and delicate and I just cannot believe how lovely and round my breasts look in it!

    Conclusion:

My favourite bra ever! Okay, so I haven't been around in the proper bra size world for that long as this is only my first 'real' bra, but it certainly is a good start https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

    Edited To Add:
I have now also added drop-cup nursing clasps to this bra which makes it even more perfect.

    • What exactly now again was your problem with Andorra later on?

    • Andorra cuts in along the cup edge. Also, it gives me a pointy shape when seen from the side, even though the cups seem half empty.

I should probably update the fit info I've provided here, because I've come to find the band too snug for comfort too.

I have this for at least a year but didn't wear it very often so I somehow forgot to review it. But it proved to be really light and comfortable during the last extremely warm summer months.

The design is unobtrusive but very pretty. I like the transparent lace, the shiny straps and the lack of big colorful bows. The cup fabric reminds me of old wallpapers. But it's blue and I'm a sucker for blue so that's fine.

Like others have said, the fabric in front is very scratchy on the outside and mildly scratchy on the inside and it doesn't get better with washing. I don't mind that ... but it could be a problem if it's chafing or if you have very sensitive skin. The lace is made of the same soft and stretchy material used on the Panache Andorra and Cleo Kayla and the band consists of a thin breathable mesh.

The fit is different from my other Cleo / Panache bras that tend to push all my breast tissue to the center. It's supportive but my boobs just keep their natural wide and projected shape. I didn't like this at first but it is a welcome change now that I own so many bra that make a super round shape. Also because my boobs get really achy when I only wear ball shaped bras like my Cleo Meg ( http://bra.pe/XYNg/ ) or Marcie ( http://bra.pe/XYLq/ ) for several days. Maybe they want to express their personality and don't like to be forced into an artificial geometric shape all the time https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

The wires have the same narrow shape as in my Panache Andorra ( http://bra.pe/XYit/ ). But they are more flexible, so they fit a bit too wide ending about 1.5 cm behind by breast tissue. But they don't poke me and I even find it more comfortable to have the wires sit in a slightly different spot from time to time. The band fits pretty snug but has enough give to remain comfortable during a 12 hour workday.

Quality is great: The color is still really intense and nothing has stretched out after at least 15 washes.

I feel you! Still have like 500€ worth of pants hanging around that are just a tiny bit too small. But loosing that last 2kg is so freaking hard.

    • 1

I'm just not able to wear a Jasmine in my shape. I have tried it in multiple sizes and none have worked. I'm fine with the view from the front, but the side view is pointy due to my soft tissue sinking into the deeper cups. Or something.

But this looks great on you except for the tight band in the back, but I know that it's something that you prefer.

    • I think pointy look usually means you are more FOB and its a very FOT friendly shape. I mean, its a little bullet-like on me, but I liked that in my shape - i wore it esp under big bulky sweaters to give some shape

    • Calluna
Did you also get the pointy shape in a smaller cup size?

It's kinda hard to predict the shape of Panache bras and for me it also depends a lot on the size. For example the Andorra makes a nice round shape in a 28F but a 30F looks cone like and a 30E is still a bit pointy because the wires are not pulled wide enough. But looking through all the other pictures makes me think that soft vs firm tissue is also a factor.

    • dbmamaz im only slightly ful on bottom. When I do the leaning over test, my nipples are mostly straight down. They lean towards my face slightly. My 30F Marcie only has a little bit of a gap on my larger side.

aboobaccount pointy in all sizes of Jasmine. Let me compile all the existing pictures of me in Panache bras.

    • 1

Ok. I apparently didn't get pics of Jasmine in 28F and 28FF or I've already purged them from my phone. I'm sure I had some at some point. In the nude. I'm going to have a second look though. In the meantime, here's everything I have left.

      https://imgur.com/a/7lpiLAI

Some notes from the various fits:

The black Envy is from the time I was first fitted into a 28F. I was surprised when I was able to get it on, but it was hella tight and felt like it was going to ping off any time. I had a valley of flesh under the band. I asked for a 30E. It was more comfortable than the 28F, though the fitter insisted that it was not a good fit (technically). I have also tried Envy in 32DD and 32E, neither pictured, but I can go back to add the 32E which I have still, I think.

Next is Clara. I was pretty happy with the fit in terms of feeling of it though I have a bit of wrinkles at the wire and I spill a little bit in the 30E. I tried a 30FF that day because I was curious about the colour combination. As it was close to fitting, I later went back and tried the 30F. The 30F was the best fit of the 3, but the wrinkles at the wire continued.

Next up is Jasmine in 32DD. Looks great from the front and angle though not the side. I'm sure that I tried it in 28F and 28FF. I'll see I have a valid imgur link for the fit that included one of them or both. I will look through my phone again as well.

From my trip to a shop in Vancouver, I have a 30E Olivia and 30F Ardour. I did try a 30F Olivia and I had a better fit, but I must have purged my pics of it. This one was a good fit but the gore was wide and high. I'm not sure if I could do it all day. I tried a Panache Lois but I was not fond of it. I liked Ardour but worried that it was too shallow. It doesn't look like it is, but I kept feeling like it was trying to or going to slip.

Let me see if I can locate the other Jasmine pics...

    • Here's the 30F Clara and 28FF Jasmine (and a few other bras). None are the 28F Jasmine but it's not significantly different. You can see the Jasmine is pointy no matter how many sizes I try.

    • Added the 32E Envy to the first imgur link.

    • Whoops let's try again on the second link.

      https://m.imgur.com/a/zPoE1

    • Calluna
      That's interesting, thank you.

Looks like the Envy and the Jasmine are based on the same cut that causes this pointy profile on you and a smaller band size doesn't change that. So I don't know what the fitter meant by suggesting that the 28F would be a better fit technically. Maybe she was just focusing on your snug and tight under bust measurement that indicate this size. But if the 30 band gives you enough lift and support, and it looks like it does, there is no reason to go tighter.

I only wear a 28F instead of a 30F because it actually gives more support. In most styles the shape is basically the same but in the 28F my breasts litterally don't move at all, which feels more secure when I'm outside or at work.

The Clara looks very nice in a 30F and the seans one the cups are similar to the ones on the Andorra so it could be worth a try but I'm just guessing. The Fantasie Marianna is very pretty indeed. Too bad they always use these stiff ribbons instead of something flexible. I think the Olivia and the Adour are the best shape wise.

I also wonder what the Cleo Hettie or Kayla would look like on you. For me the shape is somewhere between the Marcie and the Andorra.

    • aboobaccount yes, the styles are similar. Jasmine is a little shorter and the cups are a little bit different, but very close styles. And what she meant was that the way the 28F fit compared with the 30E, it was the better technical fit. The fitter agreed that the style is not right for me though, regardless of size. There were some things that she pointed out that made her feel that way, but some of the things were debunked, for lack of a better word. And the fitters, more than one felt the same way, also said that it has to be comfortable or I would not wear it. So comfort and technical fits might not be the same.

Clara is too shallow with the wrinkles at the wire. Shape is still a bit pointy, but not as bad. But under a work shirt it would not be a problem. I’ve told to try Ava plunge and Andorra...but I’m told Andorra is really pointy. However, since I know other styles work better, I feel like I should get what looks and feels best.

Ardour is nice. I thought that it might be a little bit too shallow but it looks like maybe it’s average projection and possibly doable for shorter periods. Olivia is a good shape but I don’t think that I can manage that gore.

I have keeping my eyes open for a Kayla and Hettie in a 30E at a good price, but I have other bra priorities for now. Im not sure how my soft tissue will react with them since they are known for being deep and projected and that is part of the problem with Envy and Jasmine. I’m looking at maybe getting an Ewa BM in the next month. Or possibly the Ellace in 30F. I have a few in mind...

    • And yeah...I’m with you on the Fantasie Marianna. I’m curious if a larger size would be a better fit and also if I were to pull the stiff ribbon out if that would do the trick.

    • Calluna
Looking at your pictures again, I think going up a cup size in the Marianna will leave you with even more empty space on the sides. Probably the cup volume is about right in the size you tried but it just doesn't have enough room in the center and the ribbon amplifies this problem. So IMO pulling it out is not worth the risk unless you can get it super cheap.

I have similar problem to with the stiff lining below the lace of my Cleo Zia ( http://bra.pe/Ihd7/ ): It doesn't really cut in but sometimes my breasts decide to swell up during the day and it gets uncomfy. So I thought about doing this alteration ( http://bra.pe/Ig53/ ). But I can't find the Zia in my size anymore and it's one of my favorites which makes me afraid of messing it up.

    • Interesting. I didn’t think I had a lot of extra space on the sides of the Marianna, but I am center full, so I do lack outer tissue and have trouble filling out the sides in bras.

Jasmine and I did not always agree...our love story was one that was developed with time and patience!
The first time I tried Jasmine, the seam where the top lace is inserted gaped a lot, resulting in a pointy shape, that made me quiver...we weren't meant to be then.
But alas, luckily for me, with the "orchid print" things changed: the fitting of the 28F was phenomenal, light years away from my unpleasant previous experience!

    Didn't fit

I have heard great things about this bra, but was hesitant to try it as I was exclusively wearing plunges due to my close-set breasts and centre fullness being unable to withstand any higher gores. The gores on Marcie and Hettie were unbearable even though the overall shape of the bra was highly suitable for me. But, since I tried a Comexim Bianca 3HC without a lowered gore, I found that a higher gore isn't that bad. So, I decided to order this bra (along with the Envy).

The cups are the narrowest I have tried in UK bras and they are deep. The stretch lace accommodates top fullness ... well. Everything was good, except the gore which is unfortunately too high and wide for me. It wasn't too uncomfortable, but the wire marks are on the inside of my breasts instead of at the outline / on my ribcage. So, I decided to overlap and narrow the gore, which I always do for my UK bras. That's where the problems start.

It seems that I have taken in the gore too much, which somehow changes the fit of the cups, and there are now wrinkles at the bottom of the cup. But, due to unknown reasons (or physics?), the wrinkles disappear when I wear the straps more inwards. I think I might need to buy a J-hook to wear this bra as a racerback to eliminate obvious fit issues. I feel that my centre fullness isn't really accommodated by the closer cups and was bulging out. It seems like I have made the fit worse by altering the bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Now, it seems that I should stick with plunges, although they never really provide enough stability for me with my centre fullness and soft tissues. My breasts were almost always jiggling in plunges, especially those with stretch lace. I will have to accept my fate that nothing will ever fit me perfectly because my breasts are simply too close together.

Update: I have taken the stitches at the bottom of the gore apart and reinforced the gore without narrowing it too much. The wires returned to its normal position and the cup doesn't have fit issues anymore. Lesson learned it, never take in the bottom of the gore too much or the cup fit will be messed up.

I can’t sew so I have no good advice there re:alterations but I see what you mean in the before pic of you from the front about the gore being too wide. It’s too bad because it looks like great fit in the cups on the side angled pics! I love Jasmine and have it in three different colorways- I’ve never noticed this pattern for sale before it’s very pretty! Hopefully Envy will be better but I really can’t remember if the gore is any narrower since that’s not usually a problem for me unless it’s like suuuuper wide. Which plunges are your fave?

    • Jolie0216 This pattern is called the Paisley I think and I got it from Bravissimo recently. I love it too! I purchased Envy with this but returned it because I prefer the round shape that Jasmine gives, and Jasmine seems to provide more stability without stretch lace in the entire cup. My favourite plunge is Ewa Michalak M cut, although it gives a slightly more pointy shape than I desire, it is narrow and deep with very low gore.

    • 1

Too bad it didn't work out for you... you could always try a Comexim 3HC with a lowered and overlapping gore. It makes the bra fit sort of like a plunge but with vertical cups. I did this with my 65J - Comexim » Natalie Half Cup (491) .

    • Wilderness1 I have a 60HH 3HC with a lowered and overlapping gore, but the EM M cup fits better with more depth.

    • kate166 oh yeah, I can see how the Ms would work for you.

    • 1

Thank you for documenting your bra altering journey. It reminds me how little changes can affect fit so much and how a well-fitting bra can flatter so well!
Good on you for persevering for a custom fit.

    • 1

I'm also center full but I've nursed 3 babies, making finding bras challenging. I overlapped my cleo hettie gore and that made it bearable, but I have the same problem with higher gores. I desperately want to try Ewa bras but at closer to a 34/34 F/FF depending on the brand I'm not having much luck finding any second hand and I'm scared to order and be out the money :(

    • confused If you are in the US, you may order from Levana which offers returns if the bra doesn't fit. :)

    • 1

I will check them out! I tried a few Comexims from Breakout Bras but wasnt sure since they're marking them UK sizes. I also have a Comexim on the way from Sophisticated Pair but want to try EM so badly!

So sad, not the right shape or size. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Cups too closed on top, projection slightly too shallow at the base, wires too wide, band too snug. I'm currently teetering between 28 and 30 bands, and this maxes at 29 inches and that is stretching hard.
The wires are probably being pulled too tightly, and being very firm, the top end HURTS under my arms. The top edge of the cups could probably be stretched out to be more open, but even if I tried a 30E, I still think the wires would be too wide. Shape is not quite right. I'll have ... to return it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> At least Breakout Bras gives free returns, but it is SO SAD because I've waited and anticipated this bra for soooo long. It's so pretty!! Not quite the dusky lavender-taupe shade I was expecting from all show and product pictures, but still fabulous.
The shape has a lot of center and inner projection, but not extremely deep at the wire, and about average on upper edge. Too closed for me, but I've read too open for others.
The worst part... Panache just CANNOT figure out the back!!! Those straps are WAY too wide for narrow and/or sloped shoulders!! I had to tighten them uncomfortably and kept sliding them up towards my neck to make me feel like they wouldn't fall off.
Another bra just to add to the database, but didn't work out. :'(

    Returned 10/10/2017.

This one fits ok, but I hate the way it looks under clothes, so I'll return it.

I'm used to molded cups and the material on this one is really thin. Not that it isn't made well, it is, I'm just used to more material there. I also didn't care for the shape I wound up with while wearing this bra. I felt really pointy, and it looked strange to me from the side. This is probably due to the natural shape of my breasts, but I just didn't care for it. Then I realized the material texture really shows through shirts (I mostly wear T-shirts and stretchy tops) and realized there was really nothing I could wear it with, so it didn't make sense to keep it.

Just not my style, but I can see why lots of others really love it.

    Updated review 2/26/11:

Sized as an F (DDDD). Both the cups and the band run about a size too small. The fabric stretches very easily so that when the band is closed it pulls the cups to the sides resulting in quad-boob and an even smaller cup. That aside - the straps and cups are placed too far apart for a size 28.

What I do like about this bra:
The fabric is very soft and smooth. The color is great against my skin tone so it doesn't show very much through lighter shirts.

Contrary to some websites description of this bra, the foam cup is very thin. Almost less than 1/8", ... so there is some show-through if you're cold.

The cups and band are too small for me, and I was able to purchase in person a size 30F (DDDD). My review for that is here:
    http://bratabase.com/browse/panache/porcelain-molded-seamless-underwire-3376/30F/

***ETA: you'll notice on this bra that the center front looks a little closer than normal compared to other Porcelains. That is because I took it in a little over 1/4" so now the center front measures 7/8" instead of 1.3" as I have it listed as. It does help to bring the cups closer together, since that's what this needed, but the tops of the cups are just too shallow for me to wear it anymore and have a smooth line.

    • It is so wonderful to find someone of a similar bra size as me! I was actually thinking about trying this bra, but it sounds like your shape is very similar to mine, so I am not so sure. I found your review quite helpful.

I have a Freya Deco bra that fits me splendidly and is really comfy. It also doesn't have the demi-cup shape going on. Maybe you could try that style?

I am yet to actually write a full review for the Deco because I just got it and I'll try to finish it soon.

    • Thanks =) I guess we are very similar. I also ordered the Deco bra, it came in the mail last week, and it is my best fitting bra!

    Best for vertically even shapes

    pros: comfortable

    good side support

average to goot projection, some average immidiate projection

high quality material and nice design

unflexible wires which I prefer, feels more supportive,

besides on the sides, the wire sits in my imf

gore lies flat and isnt uncomfortable (if you are narrow set, it wont work for you)

    fully adjustable straps !!!

cons: wires are too wide for me

had some gaping at the top, can improve it by turning it into a racerback

gore was borderline too wide (my boobs were separated more than 'natural'

gives a pointy shape (depending on your preference, this could be a pro)

This is one of my favorites. I wish it was just a bit more projected at the base of the bra, but it's one of my best fitting bras. The wire is quite firm which did take some getting used to.

    Fits

This is one of my favorites and I just ordered two more in case they discontinue it.

The pink / red color is super intense. It looks weird and bikini like under anything bright and see through but works really well under a black top especially if you show some cleavage and the lace peeks out a little.

Sizing was difficult. I'm between a 28F and 28FF / 30F and the stretch lace felt very snug at first although it loosened up nicely after a few washes. But I was also missing a bit of space at the sides. The band is very tight, which made me try it in ... a 30F and 30E (it was in a shop so no pictures, sorry). In the 30F the cups were wrinkling which made the stretch lace super itchy. And I got the dreaded torpedo shape, poking nipples and a painful gore on top. In the 30E the gore felt good but the cups still looked pointy and the wires were too narrow, hurting my sides. So I decided to stick with the 28F as the tight band seems to stretch the wires enough for my wide roots and it somehow creates a rounder, perkier shape.

Quality is great. The straps are very smooth and comfortable the elastic is firm but not pinchy and the band didn't stretch in over 6 month.

The design is very interesting. Like with to my Panache Georgia (http://bra.pe/XYON/) the elastic is crossed over below the gore making the front part more rigid and supportive. I also like the side support slings attached to the straps which really push my wide set boobs to the center. When I shorten the straps a bit more, like in the pictures the slings also provide tonnes of support by stopping any east west movement. I even wore this thing during a kickbox sparing without adjusting it even once. (All my sports bras were dirty, don't try this). My only minor complaint is that the wires sometimes make a strange creaking noises when I lift my arms or twist my torso.

This could be my best fitting bra so far. I first tried this in 28E, size suggested by ABTF's calculator but it was a little too small and didn't give much lift. The 28F fits better. Band is snug, stretch lace accommodates my top fullness and tall roots, and the gore is low. It was too wide so I did a little alteration. I wanted to overlap the gore but ended up not overlapping enough so it's just a lowered gore now. This makes the band tighter, which is fine for me because my snug underbust is 27 inches. The gore is much more comfortable now although it ... still sits on breast tissue a tiny little bit because I'm super close-set. The wires a little wide, but it's not causing any problems. Keep in mind though the wires are a little stiff so it takes a while to get used to it. I would definitely recommend this bra to those who have tall roots / fuller on top / projected / centre full / close set breasts. Wish it came in more pastel colours!

    • 1

veggiechic I've never had the full cup version so I can't compare. The plunge has a wide gore but with an easy alteration you can make it super narrow, and it's low already. I've never had a gore that tacks this much apart from a customised Comexim!

Often FOT-friendly boobs look rather pointy on FOB boobs. But it also very projected, which can look pointy if you are used to foam domes (molded cups)

    • 1

damn - i'm not all here. FOT-friendly BRAS can look pointy on FOB boobs. Its been harder to find the edit button recently?

    • 3

The Jasmine tends to look a bit pointy on anyone who isn't very FoT. I actually like the shape, but if this fits you well and you'd like a rounder profile, you should give the Cleo Marcie or Cleo Hettie a go.

    • 1

I second the recommendation for the Cleo Marcie- that gives me a great naturally rounded shape and some crazy amazing lift. Plus it's super cute and comes in a million colors.

    • 1

Scarl3tt3 This color is gorgeous on you!!

    • Jasmine is a bit pointy on me as well, but not nearly as bad as Tango or Andorra. I think it looks lovely on you. I third the recommendation for Marcie/Lucy Cleo bras for rounded uplift. I'm shallow and they manage to make me look rounded.

FYI: Cup depth is 8.5", not 9.1" This bra runs scant in the cups.

This fits great when I weigh less, the cups fit better and they give a nice rounded shape. The problem I have with it (and most of Panache's other bras as well) is that the cups are placed too far apart and they are very shallow at the top of the cup. The band fits good on this one and the material feels soft and comfortable. But for me it has a minimizing effect because of the tops of the cups being shaped too small. Also, as with most of Panache bras, with the exception of the Inferno, they make my breasts point down and out...As you can see in the side shot of this one.

    • The number you're seeing may differ from the measurement you entered because it's averaged out with other people's measurements. As new users enter the same bra we should come close to a more accurate number :)

    Hasn't set fit

When I started my ABTF quest in 2016, I was really horrified by how firm Panache wires felt. But either they've gotten softer or I've just gotten used to it.

This isn't perfect, but I love it anyway. I want a tighter band (this is oddly stretchy for Panache; wondering if it's worth getting it altered) and narrower wires. And unless it's custom Comexim or an EM CHP, 1-2 cm off the top of the cup would just make it better/more flattering for me. But this fits with minimal wrinkling on my smaller side, it's comfortable despite the wider wires, and it comes in fun colors. I was ... really excited to find this bra in red, and I got a good deal on damson and sienna too. At this point, I just want fun colors, and it's annoying to see how Panache isn't offering as many 28 options. I've struck out on custom Comexim unlined bras and I prefer stretch lace anyway, so I'm glad Panache works out for me now. It's too bad size 6 Panache briefs are hard to find or just not widely available? I've only seen them on Bravissimo.

Ana is about $67 from US stores, but it's cheaper from Belle Lingerie (https://www.belle-lingerie.co.uk/), even with shipping. I ordered three bras from Amazon to try, then I bought then from Belle Lingerie for about $55 less.

I love this bralette I got it in my normal size of 28f, and it had no fit issues. There is a little extra fabric in the armpit and the lace wrinkles a little but I fit the cups well. I wasn’t quite sure if the gore was supposed to tack, cause in between it floats and I can see through it. The shape gives me a pointy warhead type appearance.

    28F

    Fits

My best-fitting, most comfortable unlined bra. It's the ultimate Panache stretch-lace... all the qualities I like but better.

    SIZE:
    * cups: 28F fit like a glove. Since it was borderline, I also tried 28FF but it was obviously wrinkly. (for ref, in Comexim i am 60H & 60HH)
    * band: 28 is a "technically correct" fit but I keep an extender attached to this bra.

Construction: The lace is stretchy and comfy, but so sturdy! Unlike other stretch-laces, I'm not afraid I will rip it in normal wear or washing.

Shape: best looking "full cup" bra ever. Also way above average for shape as an unlined bra too. However, ... the fit is really touchy at the top of the cup, and some ladies may not be satisfied with how it looks on them. The top of the cup has a slight elastic (it's not quite an elastic band, just a thicker strip of lace) which helps keep the girls stay comfortably contained no matter how I move. However that elastic top is a double edged sword- it also sometimes gives me a dimple there. It's like quad boob but the bra obviously fits right.

Personally this doesn't bother me, since about 75% of the time it looks right. And when I'm a little big for it, and get that dimple, I still find it a comfortable bra, and it still looks fine under shirts. So I love it. However this is definitely a less-than-universal fit. if you prefer your unlined bras to always lie correctly, Amelie may not be the style for you. And if you are fuller on top, it almost certainly won't work.
