A few months ago I tried this bra from Amazon. It fit perfectly except that it was too pointy for me, so I returned it. Once I returned it, I regretted returning it and have been on the look-out for another one that wasn't orange, red, or pink.
This one came in the mail today and I couldn't be happier! It feels like a breast hug, not a bra. It fits me perfectly and it's totally not as pointy as I thought it was. It's actually not even very pointy at all. The only tiny complaint I have is that the fabric is a tad itchy. Nothing bad, just noticeable. I'll probably soak it in conditioner a couple times and see if that fixes it. It's not even something I'll care about if it doesn't change because it's seriously the most perfect bra for my boobs.
The Panache Andorra would make my boobs smile, you know, if they could.
I wouldn't use conditioner -- it damages fabric fibres and degrades elastics. Often the culprit isn't the fabric itself, but rather the "sizing" that is present in almost all new cloth. To get rid of that, better just wash the bra with a liquid laundry cleaner (especially at lower temperatures powder can leaves residue which, again, isn't great for delicate fabrics and elastics, nor does it help much with sensitivities).
OH! Thank you! I thought conditioner would be the easier-on-fabric version of fabric softener. I will just have to make sure to wash this bra a little bit more regularly. Thanks for the heads up!
It might be easier on fabric and a little evry now and then probably won't do any harm, but in the long run it will still cause built-up of substances that are not necessarily good for elastics. Either way, I would still try to get rid of the sizing first and see how it feels then :)
Thanks for the advice! It's really not super scratchy, so I won't be using anything except soap on it.
This is the second bra I have in this model. I feel more secure in this bra than any other model. It does minimize the boobs a bit and makes them a bit pointy, but it lifts well and holds them in. Very tight, secure band that keeps it's firmness. Firmer, heavier tissue may fill out the bra more and make it less pointy, as the material is pretty stretchy.
I should have got this in 28FF - it's definitely too small, but the stretchy lace makes it wearable. It's a tiny bit too shallow for me, but just a bit. The side support panels seem to help prevent the extra space I usually have at the outside of cups. The gore is digging in a bit - I think it would be more comfortable if it was higher. This gives a "green" shape (bit pointy, ski-slope effect). I like it fine. The straps are set narrow enough for me, hurray! I thought the color was going to be closer to coral, but got it anyway because it was a good sale. It is a gorgeous bright pink.
ETA: After bending the gore, this fits really well. Apparently this is just a modification I will have to do for gores of this height.
Pros: This bra offers fantastic side support. The bra in general offers fantastic support, so much that I feel myself standing straighter. In fact, I'd say the bra forces better posture on my part. I guess this is what it feels like to have the bra support the breasts instead of my shoulders and back doing the work.
Cons: I really wanted to like this bra. However, it lends a somewhat conical profile to my breasts. The apex of the bra and of my breasts align perfectly so that, beneath clothing, I end up with Howard Hughes/sweater girl look. I suspect that my breasts do not project enough or ...that I simply don't have enough volume. It does look more rounded if I wear a half-cup insert. When I went down a cup to the sister size 30DD, the smaller cup generated a slight quad-boob effect at the same time as an even more pronounced bullet bra look. The lace could be a bit better made. It is fraying a little bit already. And it gets itchy as the day goes on.
Because the bra provides such great support, I'm not willing to part with this bra. Although I won't be able to wear it with my usual t-shirts, it's a great bra to wear at home lounging around or underneath something that's less form-fitting. So, yes, I'm keeping it and will likely get another one when this needs to be replaced.
Very comfortable, the most comfortable bra that I own so far. First bra I tried that was the correct band length. I felt very supported. I'm used to molded, padded cups so I'm not used to the shape it gives me. It definitely lifts the girls up, but not in a rounded shape as I think my tissue is too soft for its construction.
This bra is very attractive, gotta love that. The fitter told me that the lace on the top bit (stretchy, not overlaid on something woven like the main part of the bra, can be pulled over the boob. This works, but has to be fixed now and then. I don't know if this was great sales work or true. Sometimes it feels like it might be too wide big or too small in the band, though I can't tell which. There is some spillage on the sides too, but not terrible. The wires might be too wide for me. I am slightly concerned that the wires feel like they are pulling towards the center, leaving the tunnels sewn for them on the outside behind. So far it hasn't changed the shape of the bra, but I am worried that there might be a fit issue. I brought this back to the store and the lady I talked to said it was normal. Not sure I've had this issue before though...?
This is such a pretty bra, I am so in love with it, and happy to have something that I can sleep in and lounge around in my pajamas in before I'm awake enough to get dressed. The way the color shines through the white is sexier than I thought, but also sweet and feminine. The center gore doesn't lie flat at all - but I don't know if that's just because it's not underwire. The cups might also be a tiny bit small for me, there is slight quad boob effect, but I'm not sure it's enough to warrant a size change. There are six rows of hooks, so potentially if you buy this the right band size, you could wear it for a looong time if it stretches.
This bra fits okay except for the following issues:
1) The straps are too wide on me and I keep wanting to pull the closer towards the center of my chest 2) The center gore is a little bit too wide for my taste, and leaves marks on my breast tissue on either side, although it's not painful. 3) It feels like I don't quite fill the sides of the cups. If I could, I would somehow narrow the cup, because I feel like, although it encases my breast tissue, the cups wraps too far around my torso. 4) The cup covers too much of my boob for me to wear ...easily some of my lower-cut tops. Part of the problem here is that I'm very short (158cm/5'2) so anything with straps just falls a lot lower on me.
Things that I really like about the bra: 1) The top is perfectly moulded against my chest and there's not a hint of a line showing through tight tops. 2) Provides really good support. 3) The material is very soft and comfortable. Read more 66 more words
This bra would be so comfortable if I filled it out! I am more like a small 28E/26F I think. The lace is pretty, and the band is comfortable but a little stretchy. It would fit a true 28F or even a 30FF/G very well.
This is a really pretty non-wired bra that I found true to size. Don't expect the gore to lay flat, it's impossible without underwires. Been wearing it a few days now and it's really comfortable. It held up my boobs and didn't squish them together, however I have very firm tissue so this might not be the same for those with softer tissue. Some wrinkling in the lower part of the cup, just realizing I may be slightly FOT. Gives a more pointed than rounded shape which I suspect is due to lack of underwire.
This was my first correct fitting bra, and my only bra with the 28 band, (the size I should be wearing). This bra is a good basic bra, but not my favorite. It is really thin (but durable) and rather pointy. So if you are going for the "natural" look, this one is for you! The style is very basic, which I personally like. Plain black with slight lace on the edges. Fits snugly about my breasts, with no gaping anywhere. Took me a full week to "break in but now it is comfortable. One last thing: I can see a thin line though my shirt, so I can't wear it with very thin tops.
Edit to Add: I have full on bottom breasts, if you are full on top, probably will not work as well.
This bra was too small for me and gave me bad quadboob. Not recommended for full-on-top. But the band was not too stretchy and just firm enough. I measure 26" underbust and it wasn't too loose on me.
In addition to the 28F, I also tried the 28E Tango Luxe. Neither of them worked for my shallow, wide rooted boobs. The 28F was definitely a bit deep for my boobs, which caused wrinkling in the cups. The wires were still too narrow and still didn't go high enough, so it gave me armpit fat. The cups were also not open enough on top for me.
The Tango Luxe is a really nice bra, with cushy straps and soft mesh wings. It just doesn't work for me.
I wanted to love this bra. It seems to have such great reviews, but it was a major fail for me! Itchy, stiff fabric. Cups that I couldn't quite fill out at the apex yet underwires fit we'll and the tops of the cups were flush with my chest. Gave a weird, pointy shape that just was not going to work.
I haven't had great luck with this bra over time. Initially it seemed to fit well and has features that would suggest comfort like soft straps and nicely molded but not heavily padded cups. Unfortunately the straps and and underwires on this bra leave deep red indentations on my skin even when the cups fit well. Over a short time I feel the bra has lost some of its shape and support even with very careful, proper laundering and rotation. the elastic on one of the wings is beginning to fray, and the cups no longer provide the same lift. More recently, my measurements have changed, and the cups no longer fit me well for that reason either.. But the next size up seems too big. Given the comfort issues and questionable quality, it's not worth it to me to try to make the larger size work.
I really like this bra, and I'm surprised I do! I've never really worn full coverage bras before and usually stick to seamless, moulded cups. But this bra fits well and provides good support because of the side panels. The lace is very pretty, he color is beautiful, and the bra pulls my wide set breasts center and forward, which i kind of like. this bra does give more projection and a less rounded shape than I'm used to with than seamless bras I've tried, so it might not be great under close fitting tops. But overall the shape is nice, and this bra feels so light and is insanely comfortable too! It's the first bra I've found that offers enough support without feeling bulky or heavy and without leaving any red marks on my rib cage!
