    BM Kleks 60L

This is my third attempt at Kleks, just like with Antonina, with me trying it prior in 60K and 60KK. While the 60KK fit fine initially, my breasts went through a growth spurt that made all my bras suddenly too small and prompted me to order up a cup. While that growth spurt turned out to just be a temporary 4 week swelling spree, I’d already ordered this and several others in the larger size.

    For measurements:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup ... then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 29”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 13.25”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 16”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup is 10.25” tall and 6” wide, the gore 0.55” wide and 4.25” tall, and the wing 4.75” tall.
To compare, Kleks in 60K had a depth of 15” and 10” tall, while 60KK was 15.5” depth and 10” tall.
This is the only model that had increased logically with size, haha.

As for fit, the gore sits just over 1.5 fingers off my sternum, and the strap feel too wide set. While the cups feel fine, this one feels like the largest of the 3 BMs I received though the depth measures the same as the Antonina and is actually shorter by ¾”. I am not sure how the construction varies from the other BMs, but it must in some way, as is reflected in the fit. I do get wrinkling on the upper portion of the cup on one side, as reflected in the photos. I will still wear this one, as the 60KK is too small in the cup now, and causes pain. Hopefully my breasts will go through another swelling spree and I can get a better fit with this one.

    Didn't fit

    SF Blueberry 60L
Blueberry is a standard SF style bra, with 3 stiffened lower sections on the cup, one upper stretch lace section, and a wedge area that connects the strap to the cup. It is a dark blue lace with a black liner. I have tried this one prior in the 60KK, which was reviewed separately.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 29”. It has 3 hooks and ... 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.45”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup height is 9”, with the wing of 4.875” and gore of 4.25”. The width is 6.25”.

For comparison, the 60KK had 22.5” to 28.75” max band, with 12.25" to 14.25” max cup depth, 9.25” cup height, 4” gore, 4.75” wing, and 6.25” width.

    As for fit,
The upper lace does not feel as closed in or tight as with the 60KK version, which is a plus. My nipples are still in the stretch lace area of the cup, though. I thought this issue might be resolved by going to this cup size, but apparently not. The gore sits 2 fingers off my sternum. The cups look good on, but feel very full and a bit constricting, and after a few hours of wear was on the far side of uncomfortable bordering on painfully constricting. The wires feel fine on the outside, but the center seems to be where the issue is currently, and the center wires may be resting on my breast tissue at the base of the wires. Reverse Swoop and Scoop does not resolve this issue. The top lace does not feel over tensed like the 60KK was, there is no flattening occurring nor any quadding, and I can stick my fingers under the lace and tulle easily, so this upper lace is not the issue with this one. I honestly do not know if I will survive an all day wear with this one though….. :-/

Another thing to note is the recent bra trend for Ewa (for my orders at least), which was not as prevalent on prior orders, is the V frame band, which greatly angles down as seen in the bra only photos. As I’m more of a I I shape than a \ / shape, this creates an odd shape at the top of the band in the back. I don’t feel this while on, but it also doesn’t feel as secure for me, since I am already wearing the band on the tightest hook set. This band is the largest/stretchiest of this order at 29”, but I have had plenty of 29” ones from Ewa that felt more secure with a straighter band.

I love the color. Sorry it is feeling constricting.

That's so odd. All of my bands are cut for a V shape, they are very loose on top. Sorry it didn't work out for all day wear :|

    BM Croptop Topaz 60L

BM Croptop Topaz is a brown full lace BM style bra, lined with beige, with a faux long line look to it. Very earthy! As with all BMs, the top half of the cup is stretchy while the bottom of the cup is not, and there is no padding. The band on this model is lace lined which normally means it has less stretch to it, though this one had more stretch to it. As with all BMs, the cup construction is separated into two lower sections, with one vertical seam, an upper horizontal stretch lace section above a horizontal seam, and an outer wedge ... area that connects the cups to the straps. This particular BM also has a frilly lace on the bottom giving the allusion of a long line but it has a regular band aside from the extra lace hanging down.

This review is for the 60L, but I also have it in 60KK reviewed separately. I ordered this one from MagdaBras4you, who is absolutely wonderful!!

    As for fit,
I was sure this one was going to be too big since the 60KK ran large, but to my surprise it actually fits beautifully. Aside from the slight wrinkle when my arm is forward (to take photos or typing) the cups are nice and smooth. This wrinkle will disappear altogether if I lower the armpit curve to counter the armpit eater effect and stop the arm vs cup resistance. The gore is about average for me at 1.5 fingers off the sternum, so no complaints there. The band is perfectly comfy on the tightest hook set, and while it could stand to be tighter, overall I am 100% happy with the fit and comfort of this one.

My only complaint would be the new thinner flimsy straps that Ewa is using. My last two orders have had them, and they are definitely lacking in quality.

    For the technicals:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 28.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.875”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 16.5”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

I think I know why she is making them so tall. She thinks the bra should be stuffed like this.

      https://www.instagram.com/p/BweJmLkBUFN/

    • Oof. I think she forgets that not everyone has tall roots :/

    • 3

Haha! I saw that this morning and had to fight the urge to add a comment to it pointing out she is getting no support! Her breasts are hanging below the band level, so how on earth is that considered a good fit?!? Ridiculous and what I'd call a back breaker. Good thing she's wearing a corset for actual support.

So much for the lifted gravity defying fit of the original Antonina!

    • 1

Right.. I'm not certain if that's even comfortable. Doesn't look like it to me at least D:

    • 2

That bra is too small for her. I more meant that you are supposed to size down until the top of your breast is mushrooming out of the top. I can do that with my 60J S, but it’s more of a “goddamn that hurts” than “ooh sexy”.

    • 2

I agree DerangedDragons19. Painful really. And with that much overhang on the cups, you know the wire below the breasts is digging into the ribs by default. Ouch.....

    • 1

Sovavosi yeah, I agree. Size down in the cup is what Ewa suggests for the more rounded look but that one is beyond ridiculous. 😬
And sizing down to the point of compression and wire pains is not fun at all..... I get a better look with the 60KK but damn they are painful. 😖

    • 1

      Photos up!

    • This one doesn't look bad either! 💙

    • 1

I actually kinda thought that too. The wrinkling bothers me though :/

    • 1

If it's comfortable, who cares? It can easily be hidden under clothing so no one would know, and you'd get some use out of it instead of losing out. I say wear it and wear it proudly!

    • 1

May as well 😂 I'll have to give it a go :)

    • 1

That IG photo is ridiculous. Her breasts are just laying there. Not uplifted and supported. WTH

    • Exactly Calluna! If that's the look and support Ewa is promoting, I think I'll pass.

    • The wrinkling in this doesn't look that bad to me... but all of my BMs are wrinkly at this point 🙃

    • 1

Yea the issue with EM bras seems to be that in order to fill out the bottom nicely (and comfortably) you just have to deal with the empty top... my 70Gs are still my most comfy bras but all three of them are flappy loose at the top and it's really annoying. I'd deal if the band wasn't also loose and 65GG is no sister size and is a completely different fit...

    • Only with the BMs right now. My SFs are about 1.5” shorter.

    • 1

      oh, I'm so sorry ...🙁

Oof. True to size 28 band, I think. That didn't fit me since I'm in between the 60/65 spectrum, but borderlining on trying a different, larger band. The bra was just okay. The height was a little smaller compared to the others, but 10.8 is still too tall for me. Underwhelmed :/ The straps also did feel a little flimsy compared to the other 60L's. :/

    Fits

Hm. I've been pondering this bra off and on all day. I've tried this bra that Mamapagan sent to me three different times today, and I just don't know how to assess the fit.

At first glance, there's a lot of wrinkling at the top of the cups. I'm not sure if this is just because I lack the upper fullness or if it's due to the fact that the bra itself is too big.

I have wrinkling on the bottom of the cups, but it's more of an "orange in the glass" effect if that makes sense.

The straps are so wideset that I think it attributes to ... the wrinkling/gapping I'm getting in the top cups.

The band is tricky. The band is too loose on the loosest hooks. The band seems to be a good fit on the third hookset, but after adjusting things a little, I found that the band rode up. Okay, fine, tried the second hookset. This option seemed painfully tight... But after I took some pictures of the fit, the band was riding up?

I don't know how to assess the fit. It's like I'm still getting a teapot effect, i.e. the weight of my breasts are STILL pushing the band up and cups down, which doesn't make sense due to the wrinkling/gapping, UNLESS it's just because of my lack of upper fullness and short root.

Making the band too tight + too tight straps == band rides up.

If it's orange in a glass, are you having wire pain because there is breast tissue that is not contained under your armpits?

This is just my opinion, but I do think that Ewa makes the cups too tall in the upper end of the range and very few people are actually going to fit it. If the bottom of the cup and the sides are filled out, then I'd say that it is a fit.

    • Sovavosi Hm. I understand what you're saying, but it was a combination of one or the other. My band was too tight and the straps were all the way loose, and then my band was too loose and my straps too short.
I have wire pain when I wore it on too tight of a hookset, but that's understandable. I actually had welts from the wires from doing that.
I feel like the bottom of the cup isn't filled out on my smaller side. I have the same issue on my larger side, but not to that extent. So are you saying based on that, that the 60L is too big?

    • 1

Sorry the fit wasn't what you anticipated it to be. Hopefully your bras from Magda will fare better for you. 💙

    • 2

If you’re an omega you probably won’t find wires narrow enough to fit you, if I understand how that works. How do the wires feel otherwise? Do they poke you in the armpit or ribs? If you can live with the wire width then I wouldn’t say it is too big. The first photo from the front looks good to me. You might need a 65 band though.

    • 1

Or not, sorry I thought your snug UB was 29”.

    • 1

      Thanks MamaPagan Me too!

@sovavosi the wire width is fine I feel. I don't have too many issues there. Just the odd cup dilemma.
And haha, nope. Turns out I've been measuring incorrectly, but I'm a consistent 27ish UB anymore.

    • 1

If it helps, here's an article on the orange in glass effect:

      http://www.venusianglow.com/2013/05/empty-space-in-cup-aka-orange-in-glass.html?m=1

    • MamaPagan I thought mine could be considered orange in a glass because my tissue fits everywhere but the top and bottom of the cup, since I have that weird folding underneath my breasts in the cup of the bra.

    • Sorry about the fit :(

    • Not fitting in the bottom could be too shallow or the wires are the wrong shape.

    • Sovavosi Now what do you mean by too shallow? Like the cup? I'm confused :o

    • 1

      Frazzleberry It's okay! :)

    • 1

If the bottom of the cup doesn’t have enough immediate projection then you can get wrinkling at the bottom of the cup. I don’t think it’s too shallow, rather that the wires are the wrong shape. The BM is her most projected bra AFAIK.

    • Sovavosi ah I see, I see. So you're saying my shape is incompatible with a BM?

    • 2

Could be, but at this size there is so little choice. I think the responses in this Reddit thread might help you.

      https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/aons9f/question_is_a_little_wrinkling_in_the_cup_normal/

    • 1

Sovavosi Thanks! That had a lot of helpful information. I'm still curious about how a 60KK might fit haha.

    • 1

DerangedDragons19 I should be getting my BM Brownie sometime this week in 60KK (it finally cleared customs, it arrived the same time as my Gorsenia, so idk why it took so long). I'll be putting up the measurements when I collect it/have the time.

Sovavosi that link was very helpful

    • 1

Frazzleberry ohh goody! I'll be looking forward to your review! :)

    • DerangedDragons19 no problem ;)

    • 2

I think the cups are just straight up too large - wrinkling in the lower cup can also just mean that the lower cup is too big rather than an OiG/depth at the wire issue. I suspect that the extra space is making the bra unstable, and your breast tissue is pushing the excess fabric over the wire at the bottom which is contributing to that teapot effect you're describing.

    • 1

hugsforyourjugs that could very well be! I just didn't know how to assess the fit. I mean, maybe it doesn't fit? Maybe it does? It seems like from different angles it does fit, while others it doesn't fit. The cups felt more comfortable than my JJ's by far, but that doesn't mean it fits either, you know? I have a 60KK BM that should arrive Friday and I'm hoping that'll clear up some of my confusion. :)
      Thanks for your insight!

    • 1

I will say that this bra is the first one that encapsulates all my tissue up where it starta under my arm. I noticed that I didn't have that weird tissue folding/pinching in this bra, so I felt that was a huge step in the right direction for me :)

    • Observe on my left hand side of the side view pictures :)

      http://bra.pe/X0JS/

    • 2

I'm not sure the wrinkling isn't just the bra. I have some wrinkling on various BMs, even ones that are too small.

      Apricot: http://bra.pe/IlBN/
Sofia, when I was swelling out of it and it was painful: http://bra.pe/IlWT/

The bottom of some BMs just wrinkle, I don't know why.

    • 2

I feel that while the BM in our range has decent projection, it still lacks the immediate projection right at the wire. :-/

    SF Pin-Up 60L

This is my second attempt at Pin-Up, having tried it prior in 65K from Zathiya. It is a typical SF style bra, no padding, stiffened lower cups, stretch lace on top. In this size, it comes with 3 lower sections/two vertical seams, plus an upper stretch lace section and the outer wedge section that connects the cup to the strap.

    For measurements:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22” and stretches to a max of ... 27”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 14.5”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cups are 6” wide and 9.75” tall, with the gore being 0.55” wide and 4.25” tall, and the wing at 4.5” tall.

    As for fit,
The cups fit beautifully, with the gore sitting 1.5 fingers off my sternum. The band is comfortable on the tightest hook-set. While the cups measure the same depth as the 65K which is too small for my breasts, the cup construction differs somehow which does allow the cups to fit in this size. Even if I don’t understand the reasons behind it, hey, as long as it fits I am happy!

While that growth spurt turned out to just be a temporary 4 week swelling spree, I’d already ordered this and several others in the larger size.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same ... reason.

The band measures 22” and stretches to a max of 28”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.75”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.5”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

    Additional measurements-
Cup width is 6”, height is 10”, gore is 4.5” tall and 0.55” wide, with a 4.55” tall wing.
To compare, La Gloria in 60KK is 15.75” deep and 10” tall, so this is another that measures smaller than the 60KK equivalent in depth, but fits larger due to some unknown cup construction element. I can’t complain as long as it doesn’t cause any pain like the 60KK does.

As for fit, the gore sits 1.5 fingers off my sternum, but the cups feel good. The straps are too wide set, so they do offer some resistance against my arms, especially near where the cups connect to the straps. As with Antonina, this one gives a more pointed “natural” look, more so than I am used to and there isn’t much tension on the upper lace so I think it would be classified as technically too big, but as long as it’s comfortable I’m considering it as fit, especially since the 60KK is too small in the cup and painful. ☺

I think this looks great and I only see the pointy from one angle. I'm happy for you that the band isn't over 28" :)

    • 1

Thank you. It is all about that angle isn't it? Haha. I just need to avoid the pointy angle shots! :-D

    • 1

Hm. My la Gloria seemed to give more of a pointed shape as well, which I find to be super disappointing as I prefer a more rounded look :) it looks nice on you. I'm surprised it fits so generously.

    • 1

It is weird. None of the bras on this order fit with logic based on measurements. It is a mystery!

    • 1

Right! I noticed that haha. Mysterious is definitely the best way to describe it. :P

    • 1

I would love to understand why, that's for sure, but as long as they fit I'm happy!! :-D

    • 1

Too true. I might play around with some numbers today. I'm curious about something!

    • If you can figure any of it out, do let me know!

Will do! ;) I've got a lot of time today haha.

  10. Pl Dark Magenta (1048)

This is my second attempt with PL Dark Magenta, having tried it prior in 60KK.

Since I was getting a lot of quadding with the 60KK I had to let go of that one, but I am a sucker for all things purple so I finally decided to order it again in a cup size up. The cup construction is 3 lower sections with two vertical seams, and one horizontal upper section. The cups are lightly foam lined, and have cookie pockets with removable almond shaped cookies for asymmetry correction or extra oomph as needed. The cups and band are black with purple lace covering them, and the ... straps have a purple ribbon that extends for the whole length of the strap. While my 60KK had the ribbon sewn on without stretching the straps first, there was very little flexibility to the straps. Luckily Ewa corrected the issue with this one so the straps are fully stretchy and comfortable.

The band measures 22.6” and stretches to 28.75” and has a full lace band with 3 hooks and four rows of eye loops at this size.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.25”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 14.75”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup height is 9”, width is 6.5”, and the gore .55” wide with 3.55” tall. To compare, the 60KK had a depth of 12.25” to a max of 14”, height of 8.625”, width of 6.2”, gore .63” wide with 3.25” tall. This shows the 60L has a bit more overall coverage and depth than the 60KK provided.

As for fit, it is an improvement over the 60KK, but still not a perfect fit. The cups do fit, but I still get a bit of center spillage due to the lower gore, which is worse if I try and do a proper swoop and scoop. The gore is about 2 fingers off my sternum. Regardless of a swoop and scoop my breasts just look really wide in this bra.

I think part of the reason is it does not push my breast up, but instead my breasts force the cups outward, so I bulge out instead of round up. The path of least resistance wins again. This could be due to my implants, the wide set straps, or a combination of both, but it just doesn’t give me the wow “pop” look like it does on Ewa’s model Gosia which was more of what I was hoping for. I know, different boobs, different results, but a girl can dream though, right? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":-D" />

The plus side is that I now realize why the S style gives that same look though (out instead of up) which makes it look “bulky” instead of beautiful on me. Gotta love those epiphany moments! I am really thinking that I should just avoid Ewa’s padded bras, as while I love the extra support they give, I do not find their look on me to be as appealing…..

This one is a very strappy black padded bra in the S style. The cups have 4 parts to them, 3 lower vertical sections and 1 upper horizontal section in this size. The cups are lightly foam lined, but also have cookie pockets and removable cookies.

The shoulder straps are also padded for comfort, and measure .75” wide where they attach to the cup but increase to 1.5” wide at the shoulders so these are so super comfortable! They also are lined with a ribbon that is sewn in a way to make loops for the extra strappies to attach to.

The extra straps are stretchy, and remind ... me of bikini ties. The bra comes with 5 total, 4 that measure to 11.5”, 13.25”, 15”, & 17”, and an adjustable one that measures 20.5” to 38.5”. They all have hooks on each end to attach to the ribbon at the gore and on the straps, or to the metal loops on the band in the back.

The band has the standard 3 hooks, and 4 rows of eye loops at this size. It measures 22” and stretches to a max of 29”.

The cup depth measures 12.5” (hovered between the knees with the tape measure just placed into the cups without any resistance) and stretches to 14.5” over the knee. The width is 6.15” with the gore at 4.5” tall and .7” wide.

I ordered this one simply because they had it listed under the standard dropdown, so I just had to buy it. (My size is always a custom order, so I’m not sure why this was available in the standard drop down, but woohoo! I got it without the custom size fee so I was happy!) Currently, I only have 1 true S style in a 60L and a FC/S in a 60KK, though I have tried 3 other S styles in a larger band prior. My S Zielony is an awesome fit until I hit high tide, at which point it becomes a bit too bulgy, and the FC/S Belladonna Nununu can only be worn at lowest tide before becoming bulgy (though the extra lace hides that quadding well.) This one measures like my other S 60L, but fits more like FC/S so great for lower tide, but won’t be wearable during most of the month. This one had perfectly spaced straps so not too wide set and they don’t eat my armpits!!!

With the comfort of these straps, I am very tempted to try & buy it again in a 60LL for the higher points in my cycle.

It looks like it fits great, and the straps look super cool. Yay for a win!

    • Thank you veggiechic : -)

At this point lowest tide in this one actually gets a bit gapy, and at highest tide a bit quaddy, but otherwise good and the shoulder straps are super comfortable! The joys of my ever changing boobs!

This one isn't available any longer, but I do believe their multi-way one has similar padded comfort straps. You might like it too!

The band on this one felt tight, which is why I think there's so much more quadding in this one. Decent cleavage, but just a bit too much muffin top going on in it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" />
Also, it's still got that really, really round shape with my breasts. I'm not sure I like it ha

But weren't the straps comfortable? That was the thing I loved about it. 💙

    • 1

Yesss! The best thing they did for this bra was the straps! I actually thought that was your addition to it! Now I'm even more surprised and impressed :D

    • 1

Nope, the straps are standard. I just lowered the curve and moved them in slightly.

I wish all her bras had those cushioned straps. They are dreamy and so large boob friendly (which is more than I can say about the style in general.)

    • 1

Well dang it, that's just awesome.

I agree! The width of them is also incredible. They fit GREAT.

    • 1

If only the cups were comfortable, those straps would make for an all day wear of comfort. Like pillows on your shoulders. 💙💕💙

    • 1

      Absolutely :)

    • 1

aw man, it's too bad about the fit..those straps do look comfortable...

I'm wondering how my 65KK S will fare now :/

    • 1

Fingers crossed that your S experience will work well for you Frazzleberry. The multiway bras are supposed to come with a set of these cushioned straps as well. 💙

    • 1

Frazzleberry haha, right? I haven't had much luck with an S shape since I had my second child though ;) All the luck to you!! I hope it works out! ❤️

Hmm. I don't like the shape this one gives me. It's an "unnatural" round on me. I'd bet it would look okay under a shirt, but I'm not partial to it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" />
I've got quadding on my larger side too. :/

The S seems to make a weird boob shelf with shorter boobs. 🤨

    • It would appear so haha.

    • 2

I just don't think it's made well in the larger cup sizes in the smaller bands. I am not a fan of the style, but so love the idea of it.

Absolutely. It's a good style for sure.

  15. S Zielony Pieprzyk (796)

    S Zielony Pieprzyk in 60L

The S Zielony Pieprzyk is a padded balconette style bra in a Deep Hunter Green with black lace. The cups are lightly foam lined plus they have removable pads that are labeled by EM for the correction of asymmetry. The pockets for the pads in this bra are sewn completely into the bottom of the cup, unlike the CHP style which is only sewn on the curve of the wire and not across the depth of the cup. The color of this bra is spectacular, and the pictures do not do it justice at all.

The band measures 23.25” with a max stretch of ... 29.5”.

    This measurement is: 14”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cups are 9” in height at the center of the cup, and consist of 4 sections-3 lower vertical and 1 upper horizontal. The removable pads that were included were quite small in comparison to the size of the pockets & to my other Ewa padded bras. While I don’t use these removable pads, I know this could be a concern for those who need to use them, as they wouldn’t fill the space nearly as well as a larger cookie would.
The straps are wide set, which is a common issue. It has a deep green ribbon on the front 2/3rd of the strap, which was sewn on while the strap was stretched making it accommodating. The back 1/3rd of the strap doesn’t have this ribbon and is fully stretchable. If you read my PL Dark Magenta review, you’ll understand why I mention this as a key point.

The center gore is set at a max of .57” and the wires touch at the top then slightly overlap mid-gore before separating into the two cups. The height at the gore is 4”. The wires are 6” from top to top, and the wing height is 4.9”. For the 70K, the center gore was .625”, so slightly wider without the mid-gore overlap, but the height, wires, and wing were the same.

My all time favorite model of Ewa Michalak and I never want to be without this model in my wardrobe. Something about the white satin look just appeals to me and I love it dearly even though it's running too small these days.

As with all EMs in this size, the wires are a bit wide and the straps too outward for it to be comfortable without alteration. Of course, I moved the straps inward and this bra became wearable. The band runs true to size as the PL Onyx did and is a good representation of a 28/60 band. The gore is quite low and so it's my favorite bra to use for my plethora of low cut shirts and the cups aren't that tall in comparison and so works wonders. Unfortunately, the straps are constantly slipping from the little hoops no matter what I do and I'm often left with a strap snapping back at my shoulder.

Another EM bra that I had to take some good altering to wear. The straps were of course unwearable with how much I had to tighten them and how much they dug into my arms, but once that was fixed, it's one of my favorite bras!

The band runs true for a 28/60 band, the gore and wire width and height is of average for a bra that's not been graded properly, and the cups are sturdy for the size that I am. The straps are too thin and I swapped them out for the comfort straps[that I shortened to my needs] and it made all the difference. It runs larger than the 60L PL Lilia that I have by about two cups but I think is a true to size 60L otherwise.

This shape, for being a PL, doesn't feel like a PL. The shape of it is quite different. I'd say it also runs about two sizes smaller than the 60L - » Pl Lilia (158) Ewa Michalak that I have. It's a beautiful bra and would be one of my favorites if it wasn't shaped the way it was. The back runs true to size, requiring an extender on my behalf because I wear 65s in Ewa Michalak. The overall design of it is up to standards with how EM usually creates their bras, but it had been altered before I got it so it made it easier to wear. It's overall an average bra.

Another fine quality offering from Ewa Michalak. In this size range, the bra cup is made of four parts- three vertical sections with an angled section on top. The bra isn't really a true plunge owing to the height of the gore, but more of a plunge balcony. It has 3 rows of 4 columns of hooks. It comes with 'push-up' pads to correct asymmetry or provide a bit of an extra boost.

The bra is designed to be multi-way and comes with a few different sets of straps with hooks. It's possible to wear it in the regular configuration, as a crossover, or a halterneck. It's not designed ... to be strapless, however I think with a very firm band and a supportive top, you may find it possible to wear it without the straps. I found though that the hooks hadn't really been designed with the weight of very large breasts in mind and so the straps had a tendency to detach themselves unexpectedly during wear.

I feel as though this is probably the size that the Polish fit school would suggest for me, and it's okay as a fashion bra, but the cups are too tall to provide any real support on my high-set, short-rooted breasts, and the straps are too wide-set. I found also wearing the bra as a crossover was a bit better for strap placement, but the consequence was that there was a lot of puckering in the back of the band and that it meant that the full weight of my breasts was being held up by the thin strip of elastic at the base of the bra, which is exceptionally painful for any real duration of time.

I wasn't fussed on the super round shape which the bra gave me, and feel that spherical breasts are a bit comical in my size, but that's really a matter of preference. I also would think if the cups were the right height and not pulled forward, the bra would in fact be too small for me to wear without significant cutting in.

The wires were a bit too wide for me, but certainly far narrower than most other offerings around this size range.

The design of the bra is basic, but quite attractive. The buttons on the gore change it from being a plain bra to a more visually appealing one.

I think that the Onkys could be quite nice even in the very large cup sizes if you have broad shoulders and breasts without too much centre fullness which aren't too high on your chest. I feel as though I'll never find a correct size in the PL cut for me personally, but I do think that it's a bra which would work on others.
