    Didn't fit

Update: I still love this bra! I do have to wear it on the tightest set of hooks and it ever so slightly rides up during the day. After trying a few new BM’s in a 65GG, I’ve concluded that they are not exactly a sister size (same cup smaller band). The proportions are slightly different but enough to feel a 65G would be a better fit.

I purchased this in EUC second hand, and I was so excited to get it today in the mail! I’m in love with the color! It’s a beautiful mauve pink-purple color. As soon as I put it on it was instant ... ahhhhh. This bra is very comfortable. I’m currently in between sizes with EM, and right now I’m trying to figure out what works best. I will also try a 65GG in the future as I think that might be my best fit with this style.
The band in this is comfortable, and I will be wearing this on the tightest set of hooks. The band is a silky smooth fabric with an inside layer and a strip of lace detail that runs the whole length of the bottom of the band. It has 3x4 hooks. The cups are a lovely lace with the whole inside of the cup lined with a white mesh. The bottom of the cup has non stretch white mesh while the upper cup has a detached stretchy layer of white mesh under the upper cup. There are satin bows where the cup meets the strap as well as the center gore. The lace is very soft and actually looks pretty smooth under a light knit top. I love this so much I also purchased two more bras from the same seller in the same size.

Wow this bra is so pretty! I love the color. It looks great on you!

    • alisa Thank you. The pictures don’t do the color justice. Like many of EM bras, they are a work of art.

This bra looks so gorgeous on you. That colour on your skintone is magical!

    • 1

Wilderness1 Thank you so much. I think this is one of those colors that would flatter many skin tones and complexions. It’s a shame it has to stay under a shirt all day.

    Fits

I received this bra through MagdaBras4you about a week and a half ago (thank you Magda!!), and I've had the chance to wear it a couple times now. The BM cut is my all-time favourite, and I owned five others before I received this one (now I have seven, as I received another after this, which I will review soon lol). The Puder is absolutely beautiful in my opinion. The band is made of a silky, stretchy, satiny material, probably the same as my BM Szafirowa Pantera, and it is very comfy. Attached to the bottom of the band is some very soft and silky ... lace which hangs over the bottom edge, which is not itchy whatsoever to me, but may be bothersome to those who have sensory sensitivities. I find that the lace folds up occasionally, but this doesn't bother me (as opposed to when a longline folds up on me). The cups are fully made of lace.

As for the fit, I find it fits most similar to my Szafirowa Pantera in the band (although Puder is slightly looser to begin with, and may be slightly stretchier, as I have to wear it on the second or third hooks to begin with), and it fits most similar to my BM Porto in the cups. Both Puder and Porto fit me as if the cups are stiffer and have a slightly higher apex (horizontal seam) than my other BMs, although Puder gives me a rounder shape from the start than Porto did in the beginning.

Overall I'm pretty darn happy with this purchase, and I look forward to wearing it lots.

Lovely! I wondered about the lace at the bottom. It’s almost bralette or midi like.

  3. I originally fell in love with this bra while trying it in a 70G to narrow down my EM size. I just had to repurchase in my size because I love it so much.

The cups are a 3-part construction with the lower cup lined with a white non stretch fabric and a beautiful mauve lace overlay. The upper cup is a white stretch under layer with the same mauve stretch lace over top. This allows for weight fluctuations during the month. There is a simple mauve bow on the center gore. The under band and back band are a lovely smooth mauve stretch material with an inner ... lining white lining. There is a 2x4 back band closure. I’m slight disappointed that this did not have a 3x4 like my BM Lazur of the same size. There is a band of stretch lace accent along the bottom of the band all the way around. There are cute simple mauve bows where the cup meets the straps. The straps are a smooth silky elastic with flexible stretch.

This time I also purchased the matching panties in size 38, called a size small on the website I purchased from. The panties have a lovely lace detail up the back along the leg line with a seam up the back. The main back portion is made of the same fabric as the bra band. There is a cute bow at the top in the back. The front of the panties has a diamond shaped lace detail, backed with the same white non stretch lining as the lower bra cup. There is matching stretch lace, as the bottom of the bra band, along the top of the panties. There is a white cotton gusset inside the crotch.

I love this pink so much. It's too bad the cups were ridiculously big. The band was large for a 60, which was wonderful for me, as it fit great, but bad for a true 60 band. Eh. It was a flop for me.

    • Maybe it will fit for your crazy swell days? Sorry Ewa is so inconsistent of late. 😖

    • 2

I don't think my swelling could fit it, but it's worth waiting for I guess.
cupandahalf was possibly wanting it for an experiment anyway ;)

    • 1

Hopefully it will serve a purpose then. 💕

    • Pictures up! :)

    • Are you sure? I am not seeing them for this one.....

    • They show up via my phone :o let me check my computer!

    • Oop! Now I see them! 😄

    • Oop! Now I see them! 😄

    • i see pics

    • Haha, good deal! I'm glad that they are there afterall :)

    • Oh my my, the bows on the straps. Too bad it didn't fit though. Yet those bows, I sure love them ;)

    • Too bad this didn't fit, the colour is actually quite interesting.

    • 30 inches on a 60 band??? That's crazy. Really sorry it didn't work out. It's a beautiful bra

    • 1

      Yep that’s pretty normal now.

    • 1

The TTS to runs big band trend seems to be cyclical. Every year we see this and it is so frustrating indeed. This year it seems to be paired with cup runs large (or tall) with the random TTS bands & cups run small rouges..... Is there even a "standard" sizing system for Ewa anymore? Or are those of us in this unique size range the special ones within this lottery for sizing with Ewa?

    • 1

I'm glad that you got the package.:) It is a pity that the bra does not fit you because it's very nice to you in pink.

I originally review this bra in detail in size 65G, review found here: http://bra.pe/X29q/

I also reviewed this bra in size 70G, review found here: http://bra.pe/X2R8/

While this bra falls in line with all others in my bras in my recent order of size 65GG, I found that this bra in particular had wires that were wider than all the others. While the wire was the same length, it definitely was on the wide side. It wasn’t wide enough to be an issue and still fits, but I do find it strange that there was a discrepancy. Yet another example of hand made items having slight differences depending on who made it.

I love this bra. The pink color is beautiful — a dusty, dark pink so it’s feminine without feeling like the fabric belongs on a 6 year-old’s Easter dress. The lace is really pretty and very soft, not at all itchy. This bra creates a natural shape while keeping the breast tissue out in front of the body for a flattering silhouette. It’s supportive without being stiff. The bottom half of the cups doesn’t stretch, but it’s still soft and lightweight. The top panel has the perfect about of stretch, and it hits in a good spot so that everything stays secure when leaning, reaching, or otherwise moving ... around.

This is my second Ewa Michalak bra. The first is my 75FF - Ewa Michalak » Sf Garden. I love that one, but I felt like I could go just a little bit bigger all around (especially after realizing my 75FF SF isn’t the best bra for me during my period), so I got this one in 80FF. It fits well. The gore tacks, there are no cup gaps or quadboob, and the straps don’t dig. The band could be a little tighter, but it’s not riding up (and there are 4 sets of closures so I’m not worried about it getting too loose). Definitely size up once in the band and/or cup from your normal size, depending on your preferences.

This is a really great bra if you have a narrow, projected shape and soft tissue. I will probably acquire more Ewa BM bras in the future.

This looks lovely on you! Puder is one of my favorites. I love the BM cut and now I’m obsessed and have many of them. So glad you found a winner you love.

    • 1

Thank you, Happy2BraShop! This may be the beginning of a new obsession.

    • This style is my best fitting bra hands down. I do find I have to sister size up in BMs from SF and PL, the bands are more snug. Its so pretty!

    • 1

I think the hue of this bra is so pretty! It looks good on your skin tone, and you get a great shape too! Glad the new size worked out for you.

    • 1

Thanks, confused and Wilderness1. I’m pretty happy with it!

I definitely haven’t given up on the SF style (though I would probably try either 75G or 80F next time in the SF).

Puder is a gorgeous sophisticated cool toned dusty mauve with lace cups and a jersey band, it is lined in white mesh.

The promo images for this bra showed a darker contrasting set of bows, the set arrived with matching bows instead of the dark. This is fine, I thought the darker bows were more interesting, but the monotone look to the bra is really lovely.

Aesthetically, my absolute favorite part of this bra is the lace frill under the band. I wasn't sure if this would bother me, but it doesn't at all. It's very soft and doesn't really touch me unless I'm sitting and slouching. Not ticklish or ... annoying at all but it's ultra femme and I really love that detail and would enjoy it on more bras.

This bra is a little stretchier than some of my 70s have been lately so I need to wear it on the second or third set of hooks. This is okay, I don't mind, my Ewa bras tend to not stretch out much over time and I don't anticipate having to move to the last set at any point.
As for fit, nothing really stands out to me. This is what I expect from a BM bra. Narrow wires that stay in place, soft stretchy lace that accommodates my tall shallow roots and my FoB shape. A comfortable workhorse of a bra that gives me a lovely round shape while being comfortable and ultra cute.

I got the matching bottoms, of course, they are true to their 38 size and fit my squat butt well with no cutting in. I thought that the lace trimmed back style that these are would be a bit fuller coverage than I ordinarily like, but they're pretty cheeky which makes me happy. The lace around the legs makes them more or less invisible under pants, which is great but I would still prefer a thong.
I love Ewa's bottoms, but I don't love that she seems to only be making one style for her colorful offerings. I like to have both styles as I prefer options and want the ability to wear the bra more than once before washing. I've had some success with Hanky Panky offering their thongs in workable colors, but they're $25 or so and at that price I'd rather just buy two pairs of Ewa's coordinates.
I still wish she'd made a thong for this bra, and that she had echoed the band frill along the thong trim. I adore having a ruffle butt, what a missed opportunity https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Fits really well. Gore tacks. I feel supported. Band is a hair loose and there's a tiny bit of wiggle room in the bra. Since I'm losing weight, maybe I should order a 65JJ or 65K instead?
