    65GG

    Fits

    What to say.
This bra technically fits. I get some slight quadding on my larger side, so that is the only visible issue AND I'm at my largest right now so you know, any other day it might not happen.
That being said, I find, just like my other 65GGs that it's just too shallow at the wire.

EM calculator (which I've learned overestimates my size by a ton) actually puts me at 70H/65HH (depending on the day). So there might be some truth to it that maybe I do need a 65H (definitely not 70GG) *although* I'm off the pill now (hurray!) so I think maybe over the next couple ... of months I will see some changes to my body and a 65GG will fit fine. However, boobs don't get unprojected (at least in my experience) so we will see how this whole thing plays out.

Anyyyyyyhooooow, BM Rubin is my favourite BM, looks wise, I just find it extremely elegant and I love love love the stretch tulle.

BM Rubin has standard BM cups, but I do find that in both sizes I have it's not as projected as my other ones at the wire. The lining is a little more rigid than some of my other BMs as well. Again, this bra is not a sister size to 70G. It feels smaller.
The wires feel like they might be too narrow, like I have some side spillage on my larger side? The wires are the same as my 70G though, like wire to wire comparison is exact same, just the 70Gs are deeper, so my guess is the wire width is fine, it's just there's no room in the cup.
So that's why I think it's not a sister size to 70G because this has been the pattern with all my 65GGs. In general when sister sizing down, this has been my experience.

The band on this feels tight but not uncomfortable. I think it measures a perfect 65.

Overall, I guess we'll just have to wait this weaning period off now and see what happens then. I hate that there seems to be a promo sale coming up cause I'm genuinely unsure if I should order anything--my wallet has taken about a grand plus hit thanks to EM and now I don't even know which size to order and wouldn't wanna just guess and hope for the best. On top of that 65Hs seem to be a custom size, so either way I'd pay more for it, sale or not.

See, I absolutely feel you on the wires being too shallow. I think that was my issue with mine too, although I decided to keep my 65J (haha) because I liked how it felt against my skin, even with the quadding. The band was fabulous too.

I also get what you mean about not wanting to drop more money on EM due to sizing inconsistencies as I'm kind of in the same boat. I was telling MamaPagan the same thing. She's being saying the same thing too. It takes one rogue seamstress to mess it up for everyone. On top of custom ordering sizes that you can't even send back, it's tough to WANT to try again.

Anywayyyy, I think it looks quite lovely on you. I see the slight quadding, but maybe, as you say, it'll correct itself a little after you're off your high tide.

    • 3

IMO, my BMs feel more shallow to me when they are too small, then they start to slide. I've had this experience each time I've changed BM sizes. But I generally ignore this until the band starts getting too tight, where it used to fit before.

I also feel like EM's gradations between cups is not that consistent. You could be in between sizes too. :|

    • 3

Yes it just feels like a massive waste of money when I have a drawer full of bras that don't fit. None of my 70FFs works anymore... my 70Gs are perfect in the cup these days but the band rides up like crazy. 65GGs all but one too small in the cup.
For a thousand dollars I feel like that's a weak haul tbh... Sure, it's quality, but what good is quality when I'm uncomfortable? At this point I feel like if I spent half this money, on Freya or CK or whatever bras I'd be in the same boat as I am right now.

The inconsistencies are what's really bothering me, though. And the sister sizing as well, even with slight differences in cup volume a 65GG and 70G should be sister sizes, so close enough cups that I can't tell such a massive difference. These all feel a cup too small!

    • 1

Btw I know I sound frustrated but I'm really not. Just kind of... eh, you know?

    • 3

DerangedDragons19 and Sovavosi covered it well, so no need to repeat it all, haha.
Ewa is our new Goldilocks syndrome. We are all looking for that "just right" bra...... But it's still better than the Nazeli experience though, right? ;-)

    • 2

Sovavosi Yep. I definitely think they're more shallow in general. My SF's, SM's and S shapes always felt deeper, but that could have been because they fit better at the time. I'll have to make a note of it whenever mine decide to show up in the mail, with pictures of course :)

I feel like you could be in between sizes too. And that's a whole other can of worms.

@brasaremean Right?! Quality minus the consistency is just as bad as buying the Freya and CK bras. It's nuts.

Can you order from somewhere that allows returns? Sorry, I'll be honest and say I'm not familiar with the flag you have next to your username, but I'm assuming it's somewhere in Europe. Have you looked at Super Bra Store? I *think* they're based in the Netherlands. Maybe you could find a 65H from there and give it a go?

    • 1

Heh I'll say, Nazeli could work on their sizing a little bit more tbh.

    • DerangedDragons19 Super Bra Store won't deliver to me (I'm in Bosnia btw)

    • 1

brasaremean Oh boo. Lame. Rats. :( Sorry!
And thanks for educating me. I appreciate it :) I would never have guessed Bosnia!

    • 2

MamaPagan Your Nazeli bras made me feel... Uncomfortable hahahahha. Huge fit disasters 🤣

    • 2

      I understand the frustration *hugs*

I see what you're saying about the quadding, hopefully at low tide you won't have that issue and it will fit wonderfully

    • 3

MamaPagan the Nazeli bras were certainly an experience to say the least.

    • 2

brasaremean If I told you how much I have spent on bras in the last two years, it would make you feel a lot better about spending 1k believe me..... And my amount of well fitting bras pales in comparison to what I've purchased. I feel your pain. :-/

    • 3

The universe also likes to throw curve balls. When you do buy a bunch of bras, you get bigger. 😑

    • 2

I can't even imagine to be quite honest with you. Now I'm thinking just when enough is enough?

    • 2

No other article of clothing seems to be so particular with sizing, I guess it's just part of having boobs.

    • 4

Unfortunately as long as we have boobs, there will never be an "enough." As Sovavosi said, when we get close to our golden number, they change and we must start over. We must have bras, otherwise we have pain. Yet if all our bra attempts also cause pain, it is beyond frustrating. Yet we can't just give up and go braless. Vicious conundrum is what it is. 😖

    • 3

      It's incredibly frustrating!

    • 3

      It really is!

    • Is that the new bra pics shirt?

    • brasaremean maybe you should see if you can get your 70Gs taken in by a seamstress? It seems a shame that they are just sitting in your closet when they are your best fitting cup.

    • 1

Calluna yes. super clingy shows every seam haha

@wilderness1 I do wear them still on the tightest hook but yeah I fear for their lifespan.

    • 3

Sovavosi I get the sliding down in BMs also when the cup is too small. And, it doesn't take much. BM Fluo 65FF seemed to fit, but after an hour it was falling down. BM Antonina, in the same 65FF, has a smidge more space and stays put, but threatens. BM Bibi Blanca in 65G stays put all day. God bless that bra.

@DerangedDragons19 my SFs feel the deepest too. They're like softball pockets. Even with the characteristic wrinkling at the wire, my SF Maryna is my favourite bra. I'm really hoping the new cupcakes one will fit the same.

BTW, brasaremean EM calculator puts me at 75D which is, obviously, not even close. A 75 band would be down around my waist in 2 seconds flat. It wouldn't even get a shot at riding up my back. Bwa ha ha ha ha.

Her size chart though, is a perfect match (if I ignore her band suggestion). If I simply choose the band that I know fits (65) and go over to find my 94cm overbust, I'm at 65FF. Then she says if you're boobs are like "oo" then to maybe size up. That gets me 65G, which is perfect in BM, SF and CHP.

This bra is gorgeous on you. Fingers crossed for some boobs shrinkage.

    • 2

AprilGoulding Her calculator puts me in a 65HH. I have some 60Js. Can we say not tacking and cutting in? 🙃 Clearly both of those are caused by the band being too small!

    • 3

AprilGoulding Funny how that works for you as well, whereas it seemed to be the opposite the smaller the band got haha. Just look at MamaPagan and her SF depths. Meh. Inconsistencies really put a damper on things. Anywho. I enjoy the SF. Hopefully when mine shows up it fits as beautifully as I remember 😍

    • 2

My Sf experience got extremely soured by Blueberry, I don't dare order another.

@aprilgoulding I'm extremely soft and pendulous her calculator (and the table too) overestimates my size by about a cup or two. For the band it seems to calculate it close enough now, it used to put me at 80 but I've learned her 'tight' measurement is 'breathe out, and make the tape cut in supertight'
With that I get 65-70 depending on the time of the month. I also played a bit with the calculator and learned other underbust measurement doesn't even matter, the only one that changes anything is the top one.

    • Blueberry is not really like the others though. Most SFs are softer. Ewa's calculator is still adding +4. You have to have under 25" in order to be put into a 60 band. 😡

    • DerangedDragons19 & brasaremean Yeah, the depth varies greatly for both the SF and the BMs within the same size. It is very frustrating and if it wasn't for the stretch lace they all would be deal breakers for sure. SF Blueberry, BM Sofia....grrrrr

@AprilGoulding I go by the chart not the calculator as well and it is spot on too, also factoring in the OO advice.

@Sovavosi Her calculator and chart don't factor in the manufacturing inconsistencies or rouge seamstresses.

    • I know, unlucky it should be the first one I ordered :( pretty as it is it definitely runs a cup too small.

    • I agree. The 60L was better though- Not as tense on top as the 60KK. I would love to get it in a 60LL but it is sold out now. :-(

    • 1

MamaPagan It's the same lace as Kleks though, so hopefully it will come back because it has that bestseller mark on it.

    • 1

MamaPagan I just realized you meant Sofia, not Blueberry. I don't think Ewa likes purple either!

    • 1

I would seriously contemplate ordering this one, but hearing that it runs small and my experience with that stretch tulle that's underneath makes it a no-go for me. It is a gorgeous bra though.

MamaPagan but purple is such a nice colour :'(

    • 1

Sovavosi I meant the Black Tulle under the blue lace on Blueberry is less tense in the 60L than the 60KK, but we know both are smaller in the cup than the other SFs. :-( Sofia I would love to have in a 60L but it was gone too quickly......

@Frazzleberry I agree. I love all things purple!!!

    • sorry wrong tag I meant Sovavosi lol

    • 1

aaaah you;ve replied..(I took too long to edit)... so sorry if my response just now sounded rude/mean/off, I mistook Sovavosi's response about the purple, for your response, so I was just clarifying that...Sorry for that

      (texting/typing can get confusing)

but yes purple is great colour :)

    • 1

No worries Frazzleberry and it didn't sound rude or off at all. I just took it that you wanted it too because purple is awesome but also missed the opportunity. :-D

    65J

    Fits

Rubin is so pretty. I love the color way more in person than in pictures I had seen. It is a great fuchsia and black combination.

This is a true 65 band, which is great for me, it only stretches to 30 inches. The gore tacks, which is a rarity for my center full, close set breasts. The straps are certainly wide set, I angle them in. I think I naturally do that with a lot of bras. These aren't uncomfortable. The cups are comfortable, bordering on big. I don't get as rounded of a shape as I do in Comexim, but it isn't bad. I think if I filled out the cups a bit more, the shape would be a little better. This bra seems to be a bit smaller in the cups than other 65J's, which works for my needs. Big thanks to DerangedDragons19 for sending this to me so that I could try to nail down my size!

    • Beautiful!!!

    • Yes BM Rubin does run a little tighter in the cups from my experience. Glad it fits you though!

    • Heyyy! Look at you; it's stunning! I bet a 65HH might do the trick as, like you mentioned, this one seems to run on the smaller spectrum :)

    • 1

The BM is more of a natural (less rounded) fit compared to the SM or padded bras, so it is okay to not be rounded in it. It looks lovely on you & yay for the opportunity to try it. 💕

  3. Ah, where do I begin with this bra?
It's a little different than other BM bras I have.

For starters, the wires seemed a lot wider than 70FF - Ewa Michalak » Bm Fluo when I first put it on. After measuring, I can confirm that indeed they are wider (and longer!).
However, they angle really oddly and I do think the wires struggle to stay in my imf. However, this is an impression I get after about ten minutes of wearing it and needs to be tested out thoroughly. I will update the review in a week or so. edit: identified the issue. The cups ever so ... slightly lack immediate projection other BM bras have. This bra fits more like 70FF - Ewa Michalak » Sf Blueberry (1420) than any of my BMs.

Three part cups, with the tops being lined with stretchy tulle and stretchy lace over it. It is really, really, REALLY beautiful. My photos don't do justice to the colour of this bra. It's a dark reddish pink. The cups are sturdy at the bottom and the stretch lace accommodates for my asymmetry very well. The cups seem short, though. Not annoyingly so, just I feel a little more exposed in this bra.

The band is absolute perfection. It is (a lot) looser than Fluo, but tighter than 70FF - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bakłażan (1417) . It is one of those bands that doesn't need to be broken in to get the perfect snug feel. Now, the difference between Fluo and Rubin is confusing me, since both are double layered bands and the fabrics seem similar. I think that maybe they started to make bands a little looser. Just a hunch on basis of all three of the new bras I ordered having looser bands than the older I ordered (Fluo).

As a last minute alteration, Ewa made the straps longer for me. As I suspected, it was the straps making me feel uncomfortable in the other bras. They were just too short! She added 10cm to this bra and it is absolute perfection. I have to tighten the straps! I've never known this feeling in my life!

The gore tacks and doesn't bother me at all. The little bow is very elegant and cute at the same time. I love it.

In this brascapade I have realised that a perfect fit might be unachievable unless the bra is made especially by your measurements which I suspect is hard to find someone to do that. I've made my peace with it. Close enough is good enough. And BM Rubin is a beautiful bra that is close enough for me.

Update after wearing it a while:
This bra is actually my best fitting BM! Initially it seemed like the cups would slide down a lot but they do not at all and actually keep the girls in better than any other BM I have. I do not quad in this bra at any point during my cycle and I find myself reaching for it A LOT.

    • This bra is absolutely gorgeous! Good to know that you sorted out the issue with the straps ;)

    • Yes I am very lucky to have gotten the alteration done before the bras shipped out! The bra is absolutely beautiful.

    • 1

GORGEOUS! And it looks soooo good on you too.
I really hope I can convince them to make the SF and BM's in my size without having to change them into the 3DM's...I just really like the way they look so much more. Perhaps with how loose the bands are getting I could be one of those people who order a too small band just to get a larger cup! :-P

    • Please let me know if you do! My sister is a 30D as well and I would love to order some of BMs for her as well! We both prefer fuller coverage so 3dms don't work for her either lol

    • I bet you could find a local seamstress who'd be willing to alter the straps for you. The elastic might not match perfectly, but I'm sure there's a way it could be done.

    • gratiat Yes this is what I've been looking into! I'd settle for a similar colour.

    60L

    Fits

BM Rubin is a full lace BM style bra, lined with opaque black. The color is labeled as Ruby Red on Ewa’s site, but I wouldn’t call it that at all. It’s more of a cross between a purple and pink, berry colored in my opinion. As with all BMs, the top half of the cup is stretchy while the bottom of the cup is not. The band on this model is not lined in lace. As with all BMs, the cup construction is separated into two lower sections, with one vertical seam, an upper horizontal stretch lace section above a horizontal seam, and an outer wedge area ... that connects the cups to the straps. While the BM style has always used the U wires, this one has the lazy J wires that are normally used in the SF style. This review is for the 60L, but I also have it in 60KK reviewed separately.

I ordered this one (and two others) from MagdaBras4you. If you have not had the pleasure of ordering from Magda, I strongly suggest it. She is spectacular and can get basically any lingerie from Poland. So if you have thought about trying a Polish brand, she is the go to person to assist you in your search!

    Now for the technicals:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 23” and stretches to a max of 27.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 13”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 16.75”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The wire width is 6.25” which is about average, with the wires for the 60L BMs being between 6” and 6.25” depending on the type of wire that is used. As mentioned above, the lazy J was used instead of the U type so this makes the top of the wire further out (under the armpit) than is normal when the true 6” U wires are used.

Another thing with this order is that all the straps are thin. Not thin as in narrow, but thin as depth, flimsy, lacking plushness, biting instead of padded or plush backed for comfort. In one word-cheap.

As for fit, this one runs big in the cup compared to my other 60L BMs, which is ironic as the 60KK ran slightly small in the cup compared to my other 60KK BMs. While I am nearing low tide, this shouldn’t make *this* much of a difference, and my other 60Ls fit fine at the moment, as I type wearing my Bibi Bianka that is fitting smoothly and wrinkle free. The gore on this Rubin is 1.25 fingers off my sternum, with upper cup wrinkle, more than the minor outer seam wrinkle that I get on a few of my other 60L BMs. Forcing the tack does get rid of the wrinkle but doesn’t make the cup feel overfull, so these cups are just too big...

Yet it’s not just that the cups on this Rubin fit too big, it is as if they are not made correctly. It looks/feels like a discount store bra, one of those “slight seconds” that didn’t pass quality control due to something being off about it. That is this bra. While part of the misfit would/could be due to the lazy J wires being used instead of the standard BM U wires, I don’t feel this is the only reason for this odd fit. Keep in mind that my frame is only 10.5-11” wide from armpit to armpit (depending on how I am standing) so wires that are 6.25” wide with a .55” gore puts the bra frame at 13.05”, so this does mean the straps tend to be too wide set and this causes arm resistance that pushes the cups off the breasts. Yet the fit is off by more than just that. These cups are just too big.

I am so disappointed in the Ewa inconsistency and poor service lately that I am throwing in the towel. I have one more order that is in transit, but that will be my last. I won’t buy any more Ewa bras as it’s not worth the expense for such poor quality and inconsistent/rude service. This is really sad as there are very few bra manufacturers that make my size range.

I’m so sorry this was such a bust, how frustrating!

    • 1

Sorry to hear it's such a disappointing bra!

    • veggiechic I already suspected it would be as Sovavosi and DerangedDragons19 both received similar nonstandard bras from the same order. At least I have plenty of bras that fit & I can wear already, right?

    • Thank you JulieCS

      I'm so sorry. 😞

    • 1

It's okay MagdaBras4you. I am sorry that Ewa's products have become so unreliable lately. I am so glad you have other brands to offer that are so much better in quality, consistency, and price that this issue doesn't effect your business. Kinga, Gaia, Gorsenia, KrisLine, those are the bra gold at the moment. If only I was in their size range. I really loved Gaia and Kinga, but alas they do not fit me..... 😖

    • 1

Oh my my MamaPagan , this one looks overall so delicious and sturdy, I can fully comrehend you went for it.

Yet, sorry to interfere, is it the gore tack issue only or as I understand a general "mah... lousy" feeling that the cups induce ? Instinctively I perceive what you mean, however, could you please provide more info for my own learning curve ?

See Dear, I don't (and sadly probably never will) have what it takes to experience first what goes on when bras are submitted to workloads above "DD" / "E".

However what I know is that pattern scaling, and the often neglected underwires beef-up, is a very tricky affair and mishaps in the realm of a milimeter or so can be perceived and ruin an otherwise perfectly good model in a given size range.

Yep, bras are a fascinating engineering challenge indeed, no wonder I feel so blessed to actually need them ;)

Best regards thanks, have a splendid day,

      Mathy

My gores rarely tack. The closest I get is 1/2 a fingers width off the sternum so I don't consider that an issue really. If the cups are smooth and hug the breast without discomfort it's a fit in my book. Even a minor wrinkle I'll accept as fitting at this point. These cups wrinkle on top more than what I consider acceptable for fit. I know the photos don't reflect this well but I can see and feel what is occurring in the cups and the top is not hugging the boobs like I know it should. My views may change in two weeks when I'm at my largest but compared to my other Ewa BMs in this size, this one is larger in the cup and a bit too big for my breasts. 💕

    • 1

Thank you MamaPagan for this valuable precision. In fact, pictures don't show, therefore my question.

The "hugging", an essential component of what I call "bra factor".

Now I understand fully what you mean and, yes, join you on thiis one. That many hours with a poor hugging can really trigger concerns on the fit.

As far as I'm concerned, the most rewardingly solid gore tack of underwired cups is achieved by an ageing (and therefore deteriorating powernet) Ulla Popken firm support powerslip and, surprise, a H&M modern reincarnation of panty-girdle. Both with rebar like underwires ;) And great huggers.

All others are just there or do not tack. Still some hug very well even with a loose gore.

Thanks, best regards, have a perfect day,

      Mathy

    • Thank you femineaaeterna. You too! 💕

Yes it's true. :) Kinga, Gaia, Gorsenia, KrisLine are really amazing. I don't have any problems in working with them. Interests with these brands are a real pleasure. I'm just sorry that he does not make bras in your size ...🙁🙁🙁

It's okay MagdaBras4you. Maybe someday they will expand their size range, but in the meantime they can make many others happy instead! 💕 I can live vicariously through them .

    65J

    Didn't fit

The bra measured smaller than my other two 65J's I got with this order. Perhaps this is closer to a "standard" 65J as I felt this ran smaller and more accurate when compared to my 65JJ BM. Before putting it on, I realized it wouldn't work, but I figured I'd give it a whirl anyway. The gore didn't tack. The cups were too small. So, I guess this one is a no go.

Bummer! It looks good on you anyways though. Sorry it didn't work out. :-/

MamaPagan, eh it's alright. We can't win them all! :)

    • 1

That's too bad, this one is so pretty. Sorry.

    • 1

Rubin is my fav BM :( Sorry it didn't fit.

    • brasaremean Really? Rubin wasn't actually one of my favorites. I bought it on a whim because.. you know. Black Friday 🙈🤣🤷 and it worked out okay-ish. I'm on the fence about just keeping it anyway honestly.

    • 1

Yes I think the top stretch tulle works reeeally well with my soft tissue, even in my 70FF which (to be quite honest) was small when I got it I didn't have that much obvious quadding.
However, the bra is extremely shallow at the wire, and the mesh lining inside reminds me more of an Sf than a Bm (same with Kleks, actually), so I think that's why it seems small.
Most of us here need a lot more depth at the wire but with this bra, I think going up in band would be enough. If I could, I'd order this one in 70G (instead I got a 65GG and I don't expect it to fit at all).

  6. BM Rubin 60KK

BM Rubin is a fuller coverage, full lace unpadded bra with stretch lace on the upper section. The cups are the typical 3 sections-2 lower and one upper horizontal area, plus it has an outer wedge area that connects the cups to the straps securely. The color is classified as Ruby Red on Ewa’s site, though I’d call it more of a Berry Pinkish-Red than a Ruby. The backing on the cups is black. The band is the same berry color in opaque tulle, but is lined with black tulle for more support.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to ... insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.25” and stretches to a max of 27.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops. The band has more tension than usual due to it being double tulle lined, which is nice.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.5”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

As for fit, the band is wonderful! It is super comfortable on the 2nd from tightest setting. The cups are a full fit with the gore being 1.5 fingers off the sternum which isn’t bad for me.

So how does the stretch lace upper work when it is lined with the black tulle? Wouldn't the tulle anchor the stretch somehow? Thanks!

    • The tulle on the top is stretchy as well, like band tulle, allowing stretch yet still hugging the breasts beautifully. Some of her tulle is firmer than others but for the most part it is awesome. :-)

    • So would you say this bra ran pretty true to size, so to speak? I saw your Sofia post and got a little scared since it seems a bit tight on the upper part of the cups, whereas the Rubin seems more like a typical BM cup size. The whole point for me getting a BM anymore is to help correct my assymetry. My left size seems like it's closer to a cup and a half size larger than my right side. I *think* my BM size is a 30J, possible 30JJ (which is what I ordered in the Sofia, so I'm crossing my fingers that it works for me).
Haha, so basically I'm unsure if I should order the 30J or the 30JJ 🙊

    • robbeck19 Yes, Rubin fits like my other BMs in the 60KK, & yes Sophia is tighter on top but hopefully I can get that to stretchout and loosen up a bit with force and wear, haha. The BM is great for asymmetrical issues for sure.

Have you tried any Ewa bras yet?

    • 1

Okay! Awesome. So maybe opt for the 30J then?
Haha, hopefully! It's such a beautiful bra.

I have tried several! I'm going through a size change though, and it seems like the BM is, surprisingly, giving me the best shape right now. It used to be that the SF and S were my best fits. I like the SM, but the shape was and is still wrong for my soft tissue. I wish I'd been more diligent about measuring and posting things to Bratabase, because it could have served well for other users. I've ranged from sizes 28K-34KK (possible 34L at the height of my breastfeeding run). 🙊

    • 1

If you have the time and the bras still around, it's never too late to add them! We love all the data we can get, and no bra is too old to be added. :-)

I love the look of the SM myself but haven't had the best of luck with it either. I shall still try it again though! The BM and SF are my favorites for sure. The padded (PL & S) give we an East West look which isn't appealing for my frame. (Yet I still buy those too!)

    • 1

Unfortunately, I've only got the 28K S's, and an extremely worn 30JJ SF and 30K S. I feel the 28 bands might be the only accurate data haha.

Right?! The Ja Weim makes me swoon! I just sold it actually. Sad face. I can't wear a plunge in any style. I fall out now. I think that's my problem with the S as well. Trying my luck with a 3 part Comexim that should come in the mail tomorrow though, so maybe I'll have the ambition to post measurements and such for it. :)

    • Even stretched out bra measurements hold value though, as that data tells us how the model fares over time, so if you are willing, we'd love to have them added. No pressure though!

I have not had the best of luck with Comexim, hopefully you will get a better fit. Please do share when you get it. I'd love to hear your opinion on them. :-)

    • 1

Alright! Maybe I'll just do it now 🤣

I've tried Comexim a couple of times now.. I tried Anna Pardal (sp?) first and while the bra was beautiful, the 3-part cup literally folded in on my 34KK bust.. it was painful. I've tried a couple plunges that just didn't work either. Comexim has been a tough nut to crack, but some of their bras are just so beautiful that I can't help but try them 🙊

    • Oh I know it! I just tried Beatrice in two sizes for that same reason after a 8 month boycott of the brand, haha. I get one of three fits with Comexim: over quadding, empty outer cup with quadding up front ( and falling out if I bend over), or altogether gapy ill fit. No actual great fit.

At least their prices are good, right?

    • 1

I've got the Comexim Kim coming.. I tried Belle De Nuit and it just... No. It wasn't right at all haha.
Agreed! Pretty bras for pretty prices. I get so envious of people around our/my size that can make Comexim work for them.

    • 1

We all have our own niche that works though right? I'm just glad Ewa works!!

    Didn't fit

Oof. True to size 28 band, I think. That didn't fit me since I'm in between the 60/65 spectrum, but borderlining on trying a different, larger band. The bra was just okay. The height was a little smaller compared to the others, but 10.8 is still too tall for me. Underwhelmed :/ The straps also did feel a little flimsy compared to the other 60L's. :/

The straps simply suck now don't they? Wonder what happened.

    • 1

Boy I don't know, but they need to work on it or something ha.

    • Rise price but use cheaper materials seems to be the modern way of doing things....

I knew the band was going to be extremely small based on the measurements, but I figured, eh. Let's try. I wasn't wrong. The band is extremely small. A true 28 band I feel. I think the size of the band makes the cups appear/feel smaller than they are, but I still get quite a bit of quadding regardless.
