  1. S Diament (582)

    60KK

    Didn't fit

S Diament Multiway (60KK) is a smooth black bra in a satin finish that comes with 3 sets of removable straps. The straps are a standard pair, a “padded for comfort” pair that are wider over the shoulders, and then a 3rd longer singular strap to use in halter style. The cups are standard S style format, with 3 lower sections and one upper horizontal section. It is lightly foam lined, and comes with removable cookies.

    Details/oddities noted:
I have tried 9 S style bras so far, and this one is definitely unique. The cups have a lot more give to them than the others which is odd and makes ... this one a lot less supportive. The unstretched cup measures smaller than my other S style 60KK bras, yet the stretched cup measures larger than my 60L S style bras. I haven’t compared the foam density yet, but this one has different qualities for sure.

    As for fit:
I do not rock this bra like Frazzleberry does, that is for sure!

The cups fit almost like my 60L Zielony currently does (hugging my breasts perfectly but with a bit more spillage) *except* for the base of the cup, which is too shallow and won’t let my breasts into its sacred space. While the S style is notoriously shallow, I haven’t experienced this much lower cup resistance before, even within the same size.

With the straps on, the cups are small but should still be wearable under most of my shirt choices, though the bottom of the cup issue is less than ideal. I planned on wearing this one without the straps, but the bra structure is not as sturdy as my other S style bras, so unfortunately the cups collapse horribly without the straps on, so that is out. (And yes, I know that it specifically states on Ewa’s site that this one is not intended to be worn strapless, but since I am able to wear my other S style bras without putting the straps over my shoulders, I figured this one would be perfect for that purpose.) I don’t use the cookies, though I wish I could with this one due to the structure issue. The extra padding should stabilize the bottom of the cups better, but unfortunately this would result in my nips sitting above the cup even without a swoop n scoop, so it is not an option.

The plus is that the padded straps are super comfortable so that is what I'll be using. I can't try them as an X back though since I have the straps completely out in standard formation.

My nips stick out the top of the cup with a Swoop n Scoop so I refrained from doing one, but I am not sure if this will be problematic with all day wear, so this one may ultimately become a no go like so many bras before it.

Overall, I am not impressed with this bra enough to try it again in the 60L. I had higher expectations, but this one definitely fell short of my visions for it.

I went overboard with the photos, trying to capture the shape difference and oddities of the fit without the straps, with the halter strap, and with the padded comfort straps. Hopefully it is helpful instead of annoying for those considering this bra.

    And for the technical aspects:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22” and stretches to a max of 28.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup height seemed short for this size at 8.25”, though my FC/S Belladonna Nununu was the same height. My 60Ls are all 9” tall, and the 60KK Porto was 8.5” which is more logical in comparison. The wire width is within the normal range at 6.25” wide. The gore is tall in comparison to my other S style bras at 4.25”.
My other 60KK was 3.375”, and my 60Ls are 4” 4.5” and 4” tall. I find this odd since a taller gore typically means more stability which is not the case with this bra.

An S that is so short. Weird! I love that though. I’m sorry it doesn’t work for you.

    • 1

aw man that's too bad that it didn't work out :( .. I wonder if the shortness is a thing with this particular model? Looking back on my measurements, I noticed it was measured at 8.5 also...

On another note, I also have permanent marks due to wide straps, I didn't entirely realise it until I saw the pic and was like..hey I have those lol... I also have some what seems to be permanent bruise marks from too wide wires >.>

    • 3

I have permanent marks under my boobs from the wires rub my rib flares, marks from the gore sitting on my breast tissue, marks from too wide set straps... I feel like people don't talk about these things that happen with heavy breasts. Everyone says the marks are supposed to go away, but they just don't. I've only seen one person say that this happens, Georgie from Fuller Figure Fuller Bust.

    • 1

Sorry this did not work out. I think all of you pictures are always very helpful because it really shows all of the angles of a bra.

    • 3

I am assuming that the shortness has to do with the cup distortion when changing the strap positions (halter vs X back vs standard etc) so Ewa designed it shorter to lessen said distortion? That’s at least what my mental logic tells me! Maybe that is why the foam seems more flexible as well, to better accommodate the lessened horizontal volume availability?

The shortness isn’t too much of an issue (aside from the nip slip haha) but the lack of firm structure is more alarming since the base collapses. The height may be good for you Sovavosi, but I would be concerned with the base being a big issue for you since it has even less immediate space and wants to collapse. If you want to borrow it to try out, just let me know. 💕

Straps and wires…why must they be so body destructive? At least I know I am not alone with the permanent markings. (Thank you Frazzleberry for sharing my pain with the strap marks.)
Aside from Panache, I never get a tack so I don’t get gore wire marks thankfully. I haven’t noticed base wire marks, though that doesn’t mean they aren’t there, just that I haven’t noticed them yet, haha.)

I spent over two weeks without wearing straps on and it didn’t change my strap marks at all, so I can confidently say they are permanent. I assume that most women don’t talk about the marks being permanent since 80% of women are wearing the wrong size? Too big band with too small cup would result in a loose unsupportive band that wouldn’t give wire dig in and with cups too small the straps would definitely be more inset (and float off the arm area) so far less likely to produce lasting marks.

Thank you braluv. My theory is that everyone looks for a different problem area within a bra, so the more photos the better chance of helping to answer those “visual” questions we all have, right?

    • 2

This bra was my one and only venture into S territory. I found it to be extremely jiggly and unsupportive and that's why I never tried another S.

    • 1

Stinkmouse If mine is anything like yours, don't judge the S style on this bra! This one is not like my other S styles in fit or support. The normal S is much better.

*I forgot to note that Kaśka discouraged me from getting this, stating it wouldn't work as well in this size range. Also, when I tried ordering it in a 60L last year I was told no.
Why didn't I remember that? Haha!

  2. Bm La Gloria (1173)

I'm currently measuring a 27.0" underbust, which I find to be quite surprising. The band on this bra stretches to 27.5" before there's wire distortion. I'm wearing this bra on the loosest hooks, but I feel like I could get away with the third hookset already due to slight sliding.

I think that the cups fit amazing. I feel like I've got a fantastic happy medium going on with it. My smaller side has a bit of gapping at the top of the lace, while my larger side is straining a bit, but isn't bulging. Pictures don't show the straining as much, but as I'm sitting here writing (and ... admiring my breasts), I can feel my larger side cutting into the lace a little bit. This affirms, to me at least, that I'm in between a KK/L cup. I think when I hit high tide, this bra is going to be too small. You'll also notice that on the side view on my larger side, not all of my tissue is encapsulated by the bra cup, but it's pretty close.

I'm pretty happy with the fit, albeit it's not perfect, but it's 10x better than my current 65J bras that are digging mercilessly basically everywhere.

      Hurray!! It looks good.

    • 1

Sovavosi Thanks! I think this is why Brownie fit so weird to me. It must have been 1.5ish cups too big on my smaller side and just right to .5ish cups too big on my larger side. I think high tide would be a fantastic time for a 60L BM 🙃

    • 1

      Woohoo, now you know :)

    • 1

This is great! Really glad it worked out for you

    • Sovavosi Absolutely 😁

    • 1

Frazzleberry Hey thanks! I was a little bewildered at the measurements of mine compared to, MamaPagan 's La Gloria, but I'm just ecstatic I have a wearable bra!

    • 2

Ewa is consistently inconsistent. I just re-ordered La Gloria in 60K, curious what band size I am going to get. 🤨

    • 1

      Sovavosi Touché 😬
Ooh. That might be interesting! I was a little worried about the measurement of my stretched band. I didn't realize how tiny my underbust was today haha.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get a true 60 band too :P

This bra is so stunning! I can't wait for mine to arrive, I just adore it. It looks beautiful on you! Glad you got a (mostly) great fit.

    • 1

I'm excited for yours to arrive too Wilderness1! I never get tired of seeing it! It's such a lovely shade of green 😍
Thank you! I'm pretty excited about the fit myself ;)

This is so beautiful and looks gorgeous on you!

    • Thank you Sonya 😁

    • 1

It looks like a better fit for sure! Glad you found a great fit that you can be happy with. 💙

    • Thanks MamaPagan :)

    • 3

This looks gorgeous on you, it really does! You must be so happy to have a great fit.

On a bra-nerdery level, your comment about containment is interesting and brings up an often-neglected issue about fitting full bust bra-wearers for optimal support. As far as I can tell from the fit on numerous users across diverse size ranges, the BM model is not necessarily DESIGNED to cover and contain 100% of the wearer's tissue (overall Polish bra brands are much less likely than UK, US or even French ones to ever offer a truly full-coverage style because I guess those are not popular with their local customers). So, depending on where the uncontained tissue is and how the bra behaves when it's worn, that may or may not indicate a size problem per se. On the other hand, in your size range it's not uncommon for people to prefer a fit where they do have true/complete containment, because this can help maximize support, keep everything feeling more secure and is often the best way to overcome the problem of cup edges too shallow to allow a full tack.

Of course, designing a bra that will provide both full coverage on most wearers AND that has more centered straps, is definitely an even more direct path to maximal support for the higher cup volumes... many brands specialized in the plus size/full cup market seem aware of this, so it would be really pretty cool if the ones who design for small band sizes could also accept that idea! The success of more "retro" pinup styles might eventually persuade them, who knows.

    • 3

wendybien but of course centered straps can also close the top center of the cups, leading to a bra that is either too short/closed- and that doesn’t work for a fot and/or centerfull shape.

I have been trying to figure out how I would create a bra that is round enough for my fot and centerfull shape, closed enough for my short roots, and has centered straps. It’s a conundrum.

    • cupandahalf this is true as well! But if you're considering designs that return to the really old-school levels of coverage, you can often bypass that issue by simply raising the "neckline" of the bra so high that the cup edge is no longer traversing an area of substantial boob tissue. For some people this could make the gore too tall of course. And if you make it nonwired, many cup constructions can result in an east-west shape that some people do not like. So you have to find a way through all these constraints of course. You should blog about your process if you are trying to figure out a homemade pattern!

Strictly in terms of support, though, the level of strap-spacing insanity that can be observed on the designs for the wearers with the smallest backs and largest cups is an obvious fail. So obvious that I think it reflects a simple choice not to work further on the grading for those sizes because they don't sell as many of them, and because they have a captive customer base.

    • 2

Yes, my problem is that my breasts touch in the center about 2.5 inches up from my root so I also can’t do a high gore. I sew all my rtw bras gores together at the top because otherwise they don’t tack and the bra completely destabilizes and slides down.

Also, I’m so high set that I’ve actually bent over and poked myself in the chin with a gore that was higher than 4 inches! So a high gore would make most of my clothes unwearable. I have been trying to figure out if I could do something with a Plunge high apex bra.

I agree, and I believe it’s just large cup in general. There aren’t too many of us in the J+ range and we are sort of stuck with the few brands we get.

    Fits

Finally got my EM order from almost two months ago! This bra is just sooooooo beautiful. The magenta overlay is breathtaking! Onto the fit: this fit much better than I was expecting. The wires stayed in my IMF, as far as I could tell, the gore tacked, the cup wasn’t too tall. My boobs my not look like Gosia’s (I can dream) but I like the soft hills look. I don’t get overspill with the pads, so I might use them every once in a while. I like the straps on this one a lot, with them not being too stretchy or rigid. Weird comment: the pads appear to be small for the pockets.

    • Aside from the CHPs, the pads are small in comparison to the cup size above the K cup (at least in the 28 band), so you are not imagining it.

    Didn't fit

I'm going to preface my next four reviews with a few points:
-I ordered these bras at the BF sale, which was well over two months ago
-my breasts have had a lot of growth lately
-I knew, thanks to several BtB users and their suggestions (but I'd like to shout-out to Mamapagan for her phenomenal amount of help, time, and insights) that none of these bras would fit due to what Mamapagan and I are dubbing as the Teapot Effect.

    Teapot Effect Explanation:
Because my breasts are large, pendulous, and Omega shaped, it can be a little difficult to gauge one's correct size. So while it may seem like a too-small ... bra works, it still has some somewhat manageable fit issues. My breasts can "fit" into a J cup just fine, right? But here's what's really happening. The cup is lifting only a portion of my tissue (important to remember the REST of my tissue isnt even in the cup) which still gives me that signature EM rounded look. But the cups soon begin to sag under the weight of my breasts. In turn, this causes my band to slide up my back and the underwires on my bras to slide down and dig into my ribcage. Finally, my excess tissue that was never in the cup to begin with, starts to escape from the tops of my cups, much like pouring tea from a teapot. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Onwards to the review!

Yikes. The SM really just doesn't mesh well with my soft tissue. As you can see, my tissue is actually being pinched and wrinkled in the cups. The shape is also off.. kinda lopsided. The cups are too small. The band ran big in my opinion, even for a 60 band.

DerangedDragons19 I LOVE SM styles, but I won't touch them with a 10-foot pole, even in my size. Why? There is no forgiveness. Ziltch. I have a 65G Rozmarzona and I wore it 3x and it no longer fits since my implants have dropped and fluffed. Compare that to my BMs and SFs which all still fit nicely.
I wonder if the band is big or simply "forgiving"? If it's mesh, it's the latter. My HM and SM have mesh bands (as well as a few others that I have from other brands) and I just find that they have much more give and therefore, less "hold those puppies up" power. lol

    • 1

AprilGoulding Aw rats :( I feel like Kaśka mentioned it might not be a good shape for me, but I figured, heyyyy, won't know unless I try? 😂🤷 I'm glad to know it's not just a me problem though :)
I'm not sure. I've tried this bra in a 65J and a 65JJ before. I thought both of those bands ran large too honestly. Maybe it IS just because the mesh allows for more stretch. You might be onto something!

    • 1

But at least with the triangles on the straps, they would be less likely to fall off your shoulders, right? 😄 That's got to be a plus even if the fit is otherwise a fail. :-o

    • 1

You know, if memory serves me correctly, my straps fell just as often compared to my other bras. I mean my memory isn't the greatest anymore, but I don't know if there was a huge difference😬

    • AprilGoulding My SMs did not have forgiving bands (Tattoo, Koralik). I wonder if it's just this one.

I really wanted to try this one, but I think with my shape it wouldn't work too well.

    • Really? Darn, I was thinking that was the perk of that feature. Oh well, I tried! 😄

    • 1

I kinda felt like it was just for show? Gorgeous and showy.

@sovavosi I honestly wouldn't chance it. It's not the shape that I worry about for you, but the band. The band feels enormous.

    • 1

The top black band will be flapping in the breeze on me :)

28.2 isn't too bad. At least it's not 32+ like my CHP Opium 🤣

    • I feel like it stretched out a lot faster than my other bands.

And not necessarily! It's adjustable 😂

    • 1

Not that strap, the top of the cup :)

    • 1

Ohhhh. Right. Woops 🤦 haha, my bad.

    • 2

It could be viewed as built in air conditioning for the cups? 😋 (And no one would see it Sovavosi so if it was comfortable that's all that would matter!)

    • Exactly! I second that MamaPagan

    • 2

I've really only seen this bra on the models so it seems more unforgiving than the others, that's really what I mean. It's so pretty though. 🙃

    • 2

I feel like it's overall more stretchy than other SM's :o
I used to have this one and SM Malinowy at the same time way back when and Malinowy didn't have any forgiveness, whereas this one did. Fetysz had less forgiveness too I feel. It probably explains why the cup was folding under the weight of my breast.

    • Sovavosi It's possible but if you like it, why not try it? The materials would be so much nicer for the hot summers of your region.

    • Maybe closer to summer 😀

Order one now & it might get here by summer, haha. 😄

  5. Bm Croptop Topaz (1434)

    BM Croptop Topaz 60KK
This one is a standard full coverage, full lace BM, but with an extra lacey frill on the base of the band. The lace is a wonderful earthy brown with a beige lining. The gore has a small beige bow and a teardrop pearl dangly. I really love the color, and find it quite beautiful. As with all BMs, the top half of the cup is stretchy, while the bottom half is not, though it still has some give to the whole cup.

    For the technical specifics:

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. ... I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.4” and stretches to a max of 27.25” so it is nice and firm. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops which is standard for this size range.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 13”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 16.25”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The height is 9.75”, width is 6.25”, while the gore is 4” tall and ½” wide, with a 5” wing. These figures are about average for the size and style.

    As for fit,
The lace on the cups of this one appear to be more stretchy than most of my BMs, while the band is firmer. This is the perfect combination for me right now so I am very happy with it. My breasts have been “possessed” lately and on a swelling spree (still not 100% convinced this is permanent new growth) so I was convinced that this one wasn’t going to fit. I was down to one 60KK BM that still fit (and only 2 bras total), but luckily for me, this one appears to have a more open top and a bit more give to the cups, so hopefully I can get a few wears out of it before it doesn’t fit, haha.

The gore sits 1.5 fingers off my sternum, which as long as it’s comfortable with all day wear, isn’t a fit issue for me. The base of the cups do feel a bit snug, but I am used to my cups stretching out a bit with wear, so I anticipate this to go away after a few wears, assuming my breasts do not grow again.

I should be past my low tide for the month, but still a good week away from high tide, so this is a perfect time of the month for fit assessments.

The band is comfy on the tightest hook-set, which is standard but was surprising since the max stretch from band tip to tip was 27.25”. I am okay with this, as I have yet to have an Ewa band stretch out on me, and I typically wear all my bras on the tightest hook-set from the start anyway.

I only had this one on for about 5 minutes to do a quick fit assessment, so if my initial fit feelings change after all day wear, I will update my review.

It looks really nice on you. I'm pleased that the depth seems to work in your favor (at least partially since you say it feels a little snug right now). Hopefully it manages to stretch out a bit for you! Super happy that you have a couple more bras to wear again!

    • 1

That looks really good on you :)

    • 1

It isn't a terrible snugness in comparison to my other BMs (or SFs :-|) so I am confident it will loosen up with a few wears. I am happy with it. :-D

    • 1

Based on your SF measurements, I feel like EM seems to struggle with increasing the depth on an SF when compared to a BM. 🤷
Woo! Hopefully it will. I'm happy to hear you're happy with it :)

    • Yeah I agree DerangedDragons19. I am waiting to do full reviews on the SFs until I wear them for a few hours (the 60Ls, I won't bother with the 60KKs at this point) as I am not confident in their fit ......

    • 1

MamaPagan That's probably for the best. I was super disappointed when I saw the measurements on your 60KK SF's. I'm hoping the 60L will be a little better of a fit for you. I think that it takes the SF a little more time to stretch out. I can't really be a good judge though as I've only had the Pin-Up and it seemed stretchier than any other SF that I tried (and hated mind you).

    • 1

I have Pinup on the way as well, haha, in the 60L. As well as 2 custom SFs (Porto and Arlekin) which I am hoping fare better as they were pricier than I care to admit. I also have a few BMs in 60L on the way. Hopefully they don't run too big!!

    • 1

Pin-up is my favorite! I have it coming in a 65K haha. I might buy it in a smaller band too, because that price is crazy good compared to some of their other bras 🙈 oooh! I'm excited to hear about those! Hopefully they're better! I'm sure it'll be okay, especially since you feel topaz might be a little snug right now. If anything, you could wear them at your high tide moments :)

    • 1

Exactly! If nothing else, it's for bra science and any crazy boob days!

    • 2

DerangedDragons19 I'm not convinced the SF will stretch. It's too uncomfortable and painful to wait for Blueberry to, at any rate.

    • 1

Wow, this looks amazing on you!

    • 3

Sovavosi I agree. Maybe I should start selling you mine that never fit, haha. Blueberry in 60KK. :-D And Iris and Zenith still with tags-never even tried on. Then there's all those 60K BMs I never wore...Fluo, Antonina, Absynt, Kleks, Wersal, Kawa, Fioletowy .....boy have I wasted a lot of money....o.O

      @Wilderness1 Thank you :-)

WOW! How many times can I upvote this? :)

    • Isn't it gorgeous? Should be the same lace as Brownie, just without the extra band lace and a different bow!
      :-D

    • 1

      This looks lovely on you!

    • 2

MamaPagan Looks beautiful on you :)

    • 1

This looks great on you MamaPagan and I love the colour on this.

(It makes me even more excited for the brownie)

    • 1

Yay, I'm so glad it fits! Looks great, too!

    • 2

Beautiful and nice colour too...different. don't see many brown bras.

    • 4

It is lovely! MamaPagan I like the croptop part way better on you than on her website. On you it looks like a cute croptop, whereas on the website it was awkwardly loose. So glad to see this isn't the actual case. I am so glad to see you have a new bra that is comfortable :)

    • 1

Sovavosi eep. Well scratch that then. I never bought blueberry mainly because it didn't LOOK like it would stretch any to accommodate our size range. I felt the same about Iris. I actually asked Kaśka if it had any stretch and she was very vague about it, saying a little. So.

    • 2

Iris fits great, but the material is softer. Blueberry is so stiff, it just hurts wearing it. 😑

    • 2

Well that's great! I'm glad Iris is softer :)
      Boo! Dang blueberry.

    • Thank you all. :-) Hopefully it will be comfy all day!!

@VeggieChic I guess I have the right amount of belly pudge for it to work haha. The lace is really soft so the lower lace feels nice on the skin instead of scratchy.

    • 1

So beautiful! might be the same lace as my 75J - Ewa Michalak » Bm Naomi (809) , which i dont wear any more as it doesnt really fit any more - but i loved that bra.

    • 1

This looks beautiful. I loooove brown.

    • It does look like the same lace dbmamaz. :-) The new BM Brownie I believe is also the same lace.

Thank you Sonya :-) I love Brown too! Earthy tones yay!

    • 2

I miss my Naomi too, dbmamaz 🙁

    • 1

I'm wearing a 75K SM today, and have another one to try one from the order delivered yesterday, but the FB really fits better . . .unless I lose weight, i cant justify buying non-FBs unless they are on sale.

I did also get the green/animal print FB tho! pics . . . idk. Maybe over the weekend.

    • Don't you love the fabric on that one(Zenith)? I do!

    • 1

You are too funny MamaPagan, I don't see any belly pudge! That vegan lifestyle is healthy!

    • Healthier yes-but I am admittedly a junk food Vegan. :-D

    • 2

I havent actually tried on the zenith or even looked too closely. exhausted dealing with this dog. but she hasnt had a potty accident (that we've noticed) in 2 or 3 days so i'm starting to feel more relaxed. i'm seriously distrated - plus we're getting up every night to take her out, too, so exhausted. and more life too. just . . . yeah, hoping to love it once i actually take the time to look at it past - where can i stick this for now?!

    • 2

Hopefully your life returns to normal soon and you get the opportunity to enjoy your new treasures (both bras and dog. ) :-)

Oh that' so awesome, delicious somehow retro look, good fit, must be a agreat hugger with a straps feeling to die for ! Very inspirational to my shopping list style. Love it !

    Fits

I fell in love with Porto the second I saw it, but I knew the S cut was unlikely to work. Used the sale weekend prices to change the cut and get it for less than the usual cost. This bra fits wonderfully! Pretty much the same as my Magenta, but the straps are definitely more stretchy. The cookies look small for the pockets, but I probably won’t be using them much anyway.

    • That's great that it worked out!

    • 1

Glad it worked out for you. Can't wait to see it!! :-)

Am I understanding it correctly? You ordered it on opening weekend, customizing the style and still got a discount?

    • 1

MamaPagan Yep. It went down 50 pln, and with a 40 pln custom fee, it was still slightly cheaper.

    • Wow, that's amazing! I've never ordered custom style during opening weekend, but have read repeated complaints about them being full price plus custom fee regardless of the sale. Maybe Ewa changed her policy? Good for you!

    • 2

MamaPagan I finally measured all of them, forcing them to the max for the cup depth, and it was a lot of work. (I suck at measuring) I also noticed that the wires on the Xoxo overlap slightly, but the ones on the Porto do so clearly. I’ll take the pictures later, probably when I’ll get out of the house. 😂

    • 1

Thank you for measuring them! I am such a data nerd, I know, but I love seeing data added to the database!! (Who would have thought I could use the word data three times in one sentence? Haha!)

I can't wait to see photos of this one. I love the look of the S Porto, but think I currently like the fit of the PL style better.

    • Just noticed the photos are up. It is gorgeous! I do like the look a bit better than the S style. Thank you for ordering this one & sharing it with us. :-D

  7. Bm Antonina (1314)

BM Antonina in 60K and 60KK
I ordered this one in both 60K and 60KK during opening weekend to take advantage of the sale price. I am currently between these two sizes for Ewa’s BMs, so depending on the model, I can take either (or as it turns out, sometimes both!)

    Now for the bra:
BM Antonina is a full lace cup & band BM style bra in an off white (with beige accents) lace and a darker tan opaque liner. The lace color is lighter than I thought it would be, while the liner is darker. It’s still nice, but not as appealing as the ... stock photos led me to believe it would be. The gore is covered with a sheer material, giving the illusion of a peekaboo gore without the instability that typically comes with one. The cup construction is the typical BM style, with 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section, with an outer wedge area that connects the straps to the cups securely. The upper horizontal section is always made of a stretch lace, and this particular model has the upper lace section lined as well, which can vary by model. This lining doesn’t provide bulk, just modesty so you can’t see the nipples through the bra but does not stop them from showing through a shirt on a cold day. The BM style bra is not padded and provides full and separated coverage.

The band on the 60K measured 22.875” and stretched to 29”, while the 60KK was 22.75” and stretched to 28.25”. While they should have the same give and take to the band, the 60KK definitely felt stiffer. Both bras came with the standard 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

The cup width was 6” for both, with the height on the 60K was 9.5” and 60KK was 10.15”. The depth on the 60K had a conservative measurement of 12.25” (measured with the cup hovered between the knees and the tape measure placed into the cup without any resistance) and stretched over the knee to 15.5”, while the 60KK was 12.75” conservative to a max stretch of 16.5”. The gore is 4” tall and ½” wide for both.

When I measured these 2 bras, I was really leery about the 60KK fitting as it measured much larger than anticipated. Much to my surprise and delight, it does fit, and beautifully at that! Oddly, they both fit, except the 60K doesn’t tack, sitting about 2 fingers off my sternum, with the 60KK giving a soft tack. But the cups fit nicely otherwise and it is comfortable so both are keepers. And although the band on the 60K stretches further, it requires the middle setting for comfort, while the 60KK is comfy loose on the tightest setting…..But the most unique aspect of this bra is its gravity defying ability! It seriously lifts the breasts like no other bra I’ve tried and I now understand the Ewa Instagram photo of Gosik and Gosia in this bra! (If you’ve seen that photo, you’ll know what I mean.) This BM feels as soft as all my other BMs, but it is definitely more supportive and uplifting than the others. I am not sure why, but if I figure it out, I will update this review. ☺

Out of all the bras I've bought lately, this one fit the best. The cups feel great. The band is a little firm for me, but I think I'm more of a 65 anymore/possible 70/75? Didn't fit

This bra is a full lace BM, that extends to the band as well. It's a rich brown colour and the camera honestly doesn't do it justice. The cup has a black lining, which lends to a deeper brown. The cup is four part construction, with a vertical seam on the lower half and a stretchy upper half (the upper half section is lined with stretch tulle). There is also another section of material that connects the upper half, lower half and straps.

When measuring, both the minimum and maximum cup depth were recorded. However it was the maximum cup depth that I had entered in the measurements table. ... The maximum cup depth was measured by stretching the cup over the knee. This was recorded at 14 inches. The minimum cup depth was measured by hovering the cup between the knees and hanging the tape measure. This was recorded at 12.8 inches. The cup depth measurements, do not seem the be the standard for the range however, so it's entirely possible I got a rogue bra.

The band stretches from 22.7 to around 28 inches. I find that doing it up on the 3rd hookset is most comfortable for me. (This is the second loosest hookset)

As for the the fit, it juuust about misses the mark for me. I seem to be having a certain string of luck when it comes to EM bras. On my larger side, I am getting some noticeable centre-spillage, but the bright side is that you can't really see it under clothes (depending on what the top is like). the smaller side has it but to a much lesser extent. The gore sits about one and a half finger away from sternum, which isn't really a problem for me, and I don't consider it a deal breaker. It's something that happens in almost every bra. I am close-set and my centre-fullness, I think, contributes to this occurrence. The bra itself is very comfortable and I honestly can't complain when it comes to that.

One unfortunate thing that seemed to have occurred, was that the stitching on the band (where the elastic is sewed on to the lining and the outer lace) seemed to have unraveled at the end. So I'm not sure what happened there. But I've since stitched that up.

You know, I'm starting to think when every bra that we get seems to be a rogue bra... maybe it's just the norm...

    • lol brasaremean maybe...but then I see other bras in the range with other measurements and I can't justify it.

    • 1

I am so sorry you keep getting the rouge seamstress. My heart goes out to you. 💙
Between the wire width, cup depth, & stitching issues, ugh, I don't even know what to say aside from I am sorry. :-(

    • 1

I expected a lot more quadding, but it's not terrible. The wonders of 3D bras vs singular measurements! Hopefully you can get some use out of it and it is painfree. 💙

    • 1

Yep.. that's why I'm not too bummed out with this one (^_^). It really did surprise me. I can definitely get some use out of this one. Thanks :)

    • 1

I know howyou feel, I experienced the same thing with my 60L SFs. The measurements did not match the fit. But hey, we'll take smaller measurements with wearability over larger measurements & pains any day!

    • 1

Frazzleberry this is beautiful color on you! It seems to me this amount of overspill is at least partly a size issue, possibly with materials/construction also contributing. I hope I am not being repetitive as I can't see all the comments, but if you rescoop/swoop and immediately force the gore to your sternum, does that eliminate the quadding or just make it worse? If the quadding is worse when you force it to tack, it's clearly at least a bit too small, though the stretchy upper cup material may also be contributing to the fit fail if it is not supportive and strong enough for you. But if force-tacking eliminates the quadding, that may mean that the cup is just buckling (often with fabric scrunching up under the breast more and more as the day goes by), and that a cup of similar volume, but with a more robust construction and materials would actually work great. I noticed that your SF shape bra which has a more open neckline, two seams on the lower cup and does not have the stretchy lace appears to do a better job of containing and supporting all the breast tissue, so those could be features you want to look for in future purchases!

    • wendybien thanks, I really do like the colour on this one. If I reswoop/coop and force-tack the quadding is worse. The SF does support the tissue better (so I would like to try that one again some day..lol), but (and this is a huge one) I get a ridiculous amount of spillage throughout the day with that one. Like not just center spillage but full-on quadding (on both sides).

It didn't seem that way initially when I got it. But once I moved around and started wearing it for the day. Yep. It's also pretty noticeable under most of my tops (the quadding for the SF that is)

    • 1

ok so it's likely a combination of factors with this one, and with the SF I would not be surprised if you needed a bigger cup too (also perhaps the band was too loose for you? can't remember the size now!) Some people find that the "blunted" effect of Ewa's round round cup options can rob them of needed apex projection, so sometimes you can solve that by sizing up, sometimes not... If not, a similar volume but in one of the designs that is also padded and seamed but allowing great apex projection can be the one you want. It's very individual trial-and-error.

Basically when you are in this cup volume range and you are young/growing new tissue and thus have all this dense, heavy, projected natural tissue, especially with a small ribcage, you ideally want all the stars to align for fit to work: the materials should be really supportive (this is why some super-full-bust-range bra peeps strongly prefer a padded material because it is pretty tough once shaped and strengthened by seaming), plus you want ALL THE SEAMS lol and you want them placed just right for your specific body! So yes, that's a lot. But providing all these fit features is part of EM's raison d'etre, so I hope you can figure out the magic formula!

    • Lol yes, there a lot of t's to cross when it comes to what's needed, so I get that.. I do eventually plan to try the SF again in a larger cup size (I had sister sized with that, so it was a 65K) and the S series, just waiting on the right time

The bra was too small. Plain and simple. I found it amusing how that bow we were all joking about looks tiny in between my cleavage. This is my third time owning Syrena, and it's just way too small. The materials are so beautiful. It's honestly just a lovely color combo.

Syrena is beautiful. I'm sorry this didn't work.

    • Sovavosi Isn't it though?! 😭 Such a shame as it's one of my favorites. It's alright! At least I know I'm definitely bigger than a KK in an S shape if ever I want to try one again :)

    • 2

They make the S up to an M cup! 🙂

Woohoo! I'll wait for my L and LL BM's to come in first! :D

    • 1

I think youre going to have more success with your BMs DerangedDragons19 I find them the most forgiving and supportive. I'm yet to fit into a PL or S...although, I HAVE ordered another S to take a second crack at it.
It's a shame it doesn't fit, because this colour REALLY suits your skin tone and would look sooooo good on you!!
The Wenecja she is planning to release next month will suit you too!! That nice dark teal. And it's a BM!!

    • 1

Haha, that's so odd. Two years ago I wouldn't touch a BM with a 10 ft pole, much like your SM dilemma 😂 Weird how time changes things. Ooh, I'm excited to see your review on your S! I love seeing how the same bra shapes fit on different breast sizes.
Hey thanks! It's definitely one of my favorites 😍
It's on my bucket list! I'll probably end up forgoing that plaid mesh one though. Not sure how well the mesh band will hold up for me

    • 1

You have NO idea how many bra reviews will be coming up from me in the next month...I've got more Krislines (Softcups and 2 different padded styles), EMs (2 S coming), and Gorsenias (2 soft cups in 2 different forms) coming.
I would steer away from mesh bands if I were you. I can only get away with them because of my implants I am pretty much self-supporting and light!
You COULD get brave and ask (ahem beg Kaska) her to put a knitwear band on it for you - the Marzipan or Princessa pinks would probably match ;)

    • 1

Good! The more the merrier! I love seeing bra mail! 😍
Haha, I have 5 EM's coming and a KL. It's SO hard not to order more KL bras, but I really want to make sure it fits/works for me first.
Ooh! Lucky you :D ha, yeah good point. My breasts are quite heavy.
I could go that route, but I'd much rather spend the money on something else (looking at you Owocki who Kaśka may or may not have hinted of dropping next month in limited qualities. Surprise.)

    • DerangedDragons19 I hear you. I'd rather spend on something I REALLY want too - I'm waiting on the cupcakes, which is also supposed to released in limited quantities next month. I also LOVE SF with stretch lace on top -more than the tulle topped ones. And I find the printed satin of my Maryna is more forgiving also and I'm hoping the satins for Fruits and Cupcakes will be the same.

    • 1

AprilGoulding exactly :) oooh! I hope you're able to order one for yourself! More reviews! Woohoo!
I love that stretch lace. I *think* the royal blue I tried had the tulle lace.. I hated it.

  11. Bm La Gloria (1173)

The cup construction of La Gloria is the typical BM style, with 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section, with a wedge area that connects the straps to the cups securely.

The ... band measures 22.875” and stretches to 29”. It has the standard 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.75”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup width is 6”, gore 0.5” wide and 4.15” tall, and wing of 4.75”.

While I didn’t try La Gloria in a 60K, I do have BM Crazy in that size which is the same lace and seemingly same liner, just with hot pink accents instead of black. To compare, Crazy had a 21.75”-29.75” band, 12.25”-15” cup depth, height of 9.25”, gore 0.6” and 4.15” width and height, and a 5” wing. This shows that my La Gloria has a firmer band and a lower wing, which is surprising, but the cup difference is logical in increase.

As for fit, the cups are perfectly hugging and the gore is just under 1 finger off the sternum which is standard for me. This one fits a lot better than its counterpart, BM Crazy, which is surprising as I anticipated it to fit the same since the lace and lining are the same. The mesh lining behind the stretch lace seems firmer than with Crazy, but not as firm as with Sofia.

  12. Sf Maryna Bra (1271)

SF Maryna is a white backed flowery patterned bra with Salmon colored lace. The SF style is labeled as semi soft or half padded which is not the case at all. The SF style is not padded, but the material used in the lower half is stiffer and thicker than normal unlined bras, giving it a bit more support & less jiggle than the BM and SM styles offered by Ewa. Personally, while I love most Ewa styles, the SF is one of my favorites. The upper lace area is always stretchy, allowing for fluctuations in size and asymmetry.

In the 60KK, the cups actually consist of 5 ... sections, 3 lower vertical sections, 1 horizontal upper lace, and an outer triangle (rhombus) section that connects the cups to the straps securely. The band comes standard with 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

The band measures large, at 23.25” flat and stretches to 31.5” making it more functionally a 30 band.
The cup depth measures conservative flat (hovered between the knees with the tape measure just placed into the cups without any resistance) at 12” and stretches over the knee to a max of 14.75.” The width is 6.25” and the height is 9” tall, with the gore at .56” wide and 4” tall for this one.

While I didn’t find this one a spectacular color or pattern (not a big fan of flowery patterns) I actually find myself grabbing for this one first after the wash. The Salmon color lace is a very beautiful color, the perfect shade of orange-red-pink and I do find it more appealing than anticipated. The fit is nice and full with a soft tack, though the band isn’t as supportive as I’d prefer and requires the tightest setting for a comfortable loose fit. The straps are too wide set, but all the SFs come this way. In all reality, I feel it’s more an issue of the cup curve being too straight and cutting into the armpit area instead of rounding the corner comfortably. If this curve was lower/more rounded, I don’t feel the straps would be an issue at all.

How does this one fit compared to other SFs? I'm asking cause there's one in stock in 60H and I was gonna get it for the band but I'm wondering if it's more like the usual SF or more like the Blueberry?

    • 1

More like the standard SF for sure. It is more appealing in person as well. :-)

    • 1

Might give that a try then! Thanks!

    • 1

I am awaiting delivery of this one in 65G (I had previously tried 70G and it was too large, 'member?)
I wasnt fond of it on the site, but love it in your photos.

    • Same here. The print didn't really appeal to me on Ewa's site but I loved the SF style, so I ordered it. In person it is much nicer. And I am not a flowery type gal, so it says alot. :-D

    • 1

On Ewa's site it just reminds me of a carpet bag pattern, I'd have to see this one in person also.

    • Haha! Sovavosi :-)
It's sort of like Comexim Ingrid. Reminds me of my grandmother's couch back in the 70s in photos. Yet in person (on the body) it is quite pretty!

Band is a smidge too small, but it breathes a lot better than other 60 bands I've tried as of late. I'd say it runs on the bigger spectrum for a 60 band though.
Cups are too small, but the materials are fantastic. I love the color against my skin https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The colors do go very well with your tones. Sorry it didn't fit, as I knew this was one of the ones you were looking forward to trying.

    • 1

That's okay! In my mind, I was a little more forgiving of the fit issues because of the color. Not always a good mindset to have 😅🤣

    • 1

Oh my gosh, I love this one! this is such a gorgeous bra. Sorry about the fit though :(

    • It really is gorgeous :) that's alright! Learning experience :)

    BM Bibi Flamenco 60KK

This is my second attempt at Bibi Flamenco, having it prior in 60K. That one ran large in the cup, so I was banking on that when ordering the 60KK, and luckily it remained consistent. This model is black lace over red base, but this particular one has a brighter red base than my prior Flamenco. The cups are in 4 sections, two lower with one seam and a stretch lace upper section plus the outer wedge area that connects the straps to the cups.

    Now for measurements!

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the ... body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22” and stretches to a max of 27.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 13”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 16.5”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup width is 6” and 10.5” tall, with a wing of 4.5” tall and the gore being 0.55” wide and 4” high.

    As for fit,
The gore sits 1.5 fingers off my sternum, which is about average for me, and the cups fit nicely with the perfect amount of upper lace tension to hug the breast without quadding. The band, like all in this set, is comfortable on the tightest hook-set. Good fit, so I’m happy!

  15. Bm Rubin (1404)

    BM Rubin 60KK

BM Rubin is a fuller coverage, full lace unpadded bra with stretch lace on the upper section. The cups are the typical 3 sections-2 lower and one upper horizontal area, plus it has an outer wedge area that connects the cups to the straps securely. The color is classified as Ruby Red on Ewa’s site, though I’d call it more of a Berry Pinkish-Red than a Ruby. The backing on the cups is black. The band is the same berry color in opaque tulle, but is lined with black tulle for more support.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to ... insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.25” and stretches to a max of 27.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops. The band has more tension than usual due to it being double tulle lined, which is nice.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.5”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

As for fit, the band is wonderful! It is super comfortable on the 2nd from tightest setting. The cups are a full fit with the gore being 1.5 fingers off the sternum which isn’t bad for me.

So how does the stretch lace upper work when it is lined with the black tulle? Wouldn't the tulle anchor the stretch somehow? Thanks!

    • The tulle on the top is stretchy as well, like band tulle, allowing stretch yet still hugging the breasts beautifully. Some of her tulle is firmer than others but for the most part it is awesome. :-)

    • So would you say this bra ran pretty true to size, so to speak? I saw your Sofia post and got a little scared since it seems a bit tight on the upper part of the cups, whereas the Rubin seems more like a typical BM cup size. The whole point for me getting a BM anymore is to help correct my assymetry. My left size seems like it's closer to a cup and a half size larger than my right side. I *think* my BM size is a 30J, possible 30JJ (which is what I ordered in the Sofia, so I'm crossing my fingers that it works for me).
Haha, so basically I'm unsure if I should order the 30J or the 30JJ 🙊

    • robbeck19 Yes, Rubin fits like my other BMs in the 60KK, & yes Sophia is tighter on top but hopefully I can get that to stretchout and loosen up a bit with force and wear, haha. The BM is great for asymmetrical issues for sure.

Have you tried any Ewa bras yet?

    • 1

Okay! Awesome. So maybe opt for the 30J then?
Haha, hopefully! It's such a beautiful bra.

I have tried several! I'm going through a size change though, and it seems like the BM is, surprisingly, giving me the best shape right now. It used to be that the SF and S were my best fits. I like the SM, but the shape was and is still wrong for my soft tissue. I wish I'd been more diligent about measuring and posting things to Bratabase, because it could have served well for other users. I've ranged from sizes 28K-34KK (possible 34L at the height of my breastfeeding run). 🙊

    • 1

If you have the time and the bras still around, it's never too late to add them! We love all the data we can get, and no bra is too old to be added. :-)

I love the look of the SM myself but haven't had the best of luck with it either. I shall still try it again though! The BM and SF are my favorites for sure. The padded (PL & S) give we an East West look which isn't appealing for my frame. (Yet I still buy those too!)

    • 1

Unfortunately, I've only got the 28K S's, and an extremely worn 30JJ SF and 30K S. I feel the 28 bands might be the only accurate data haha.

Right?! The Ja Weim makes me swoon! I just sold it actually. Sad face. I can't wear a plunge in any style. I fall out now. I think that's my problem with the S as well. Trying my luck with a 3 part Comexim that should come in the mail tomorrow though, so maybe I'll have the ambition to post measurements and such for it. :)

    • Even stretched out bra measurements hold value though, as that data tells us how the model fares over time, so if you are willing, we'd love to have them added. No pressure though!

I have not had the best of luck with Comexim, hopefully you will get a better fit. Please do share when you get it. I'd love to hear your opinion on them. :-)

    • 1

Alright! Maybe I'll just do it now 🤣

I've tried Comexim a couple of times now.. I tried Anna Pardal (sp?) first and while the bra was beautiful, the 3-part cup literally folded in on my 34KK bust.. it was painful. I've tried a couple plunges that just didn't work either. Comexim has been a tough nut to crack, but some of their bras are just so beautiful that I can't help but try them 🙊

    • Oh I know it! I just tried Beatrice in two sizes for that same reason after a 8 month boycott of the brand, haha. I get one of three fits with Comexim: over quadding, empty outer cup with quadding up front ( and falling out if I bend over), or altogether gapy ill fit. No actual great fit.

At least their prices are good, right?

    • 1

I've got the Comexim Kim coming.. I tried Belle De Nuit and it just... No. It wasn't right at all haha.
Agreed! Pretty bras for pretty prices. I get so envious of people around our/my size that can make Comexim work for them.

    • 1

We all have our own niche that works though right? I'm just glad Ewa works!!

    SF Blueberry 60KK

SF Blueberry is an unpadded bra stiffened for support. The color is a navy blue lace over black, and the cups come in the 4 sections-3 lower sections with two vertical seams, and the upper stretch lace horizontal area, plus an outer wedge that connects the straps to the cups securely. The wires are a lazy J instead of a straight U, which is common on the SF style, at least in this size. Due to this wire shape the width is 6.25” though that’s more due to the wire shape than a wider wire. The gore also has a sheer faux peek-a-boo gore which is ... quite nice. There are 3 single diamond dangles-at the gore and each strap.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 28.75”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops. The band is full lace, so it has more tension which is nice.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.25”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 14.25”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

As for fit, the band feels great on the tightest hook-set but the cups are sadly too small. While most SFs are perfectly full yet still wearable in a 60KK, I have had a few that are just a bit too small, and with the max depth of 14.25” for this one I knew it wasn’t going to work. I will try this one in a 60L if Ewa is generous enough to allow.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt the cups run a bit smaller on this. I wore it a couple of times and by the end of the day I wanted to rip the bra off for it being so restrictive and tight in the cup!

    • 1

MamaPagan brasaremean You guys have me worried about the 60K one I ordered. :(

    • Sovavosi to be honest I can't decide if the cup is actually *too* narrow making it feel small, or if it's just plain small.

    • brasaremean Yeah, I won't be able to wear it without losing breast mass first, so I really hope I'm never able to wear it, haha!

@Sovavosi Can you send Kaska an email & size up? If it hasn't been started she should be able to do it.

    • MamaPagan I ordered it on 10/25 so it should be shipping any day now. I'd also worry about the next size up being too much cup volume.

    • 1

Sovavosi Understandable. :-/ Hopefully it will fit and feel great. (Fingers crossed!!)

    • 1

  17. Bm Bakłażan (1417)

    BM Baklazan 60KK

BM Baklazan is a fuller coverage, full lace unpadded bra with stretch lace on the upper section. The cups are the typical 3 sections-2 lower and one upper horizontal area, plus it has an outer wedge area that connects the cups to the straps securely. The color is classified as burgundy on Ewa’s site, though I’d call it more of a dark purple than a red. It is similar to Porto but without the reddish tones. The underside is black, but the stretch lace on the top of the cups is not lined at all.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the ... bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.875” and stretches to a max of 28.25”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops. The band is a full lace band, and is as typical for Ewa lace bands, with less stretch.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.75”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.

As for fit, the band feels beautifully snug on the tightest hook-set, and I could most likely wear it on the middle setting which is nice. The cups had me a bit worried during measurements as they are super stretchy, but fit perfectly, and the gore is only 1 finger off my sternum which is about as good at it gets for me so I’m happy.

I also ordered the matching briefs, in a size 38 (10) as it was the smallest one available. It measures 69cm flat to a max of 100cm, which is a bit stretchy for the targeted hip range of 91-96cm. It is comfortable though so I’m fine with it.

I'm jealous of how tall the cups are. In the one I got I felt like I need just a teensy tiny bit more to get optimal coverage, but oh well.

Do you feel like the lace on this one is softer and stretchier and more quad-prone than other EM bras?

    • Yes, the lace is super stretchy!
And yes, in cup quadding could be an issue. You can see in the angled from below photo, the horizontal seam on the cup does cut in, but I don't think it's going to be an issue under clothing though, so I didn't mention it.
      :-)

    • 1

It is not an issue under clothing at all (and it's nowhere near close to the Ellace, like not even in the same neighborhood). I was just surprised she didn't line the lace with the stretchy tulle when it's so soft!

    • I have a few that aren't lined, though less stretchy. BM Bibi Black, SF Szaron, SF Royal Blue, all the half lace BMs but none of them are an issue for sure.

    • 1

How do you like Royal Blue? When I was originally looking at SFs that's the one I was gonna get.

    • It was my first new Ewa bra (ordered from Zathiya with S XoXo) so it was a 70JJ. When the cups fit, it was great, but the lace is much more fragile than most of Ewa's bras. Ewa saidna solid and firm no to a 60L in that one so I haven't ordered it again since the sister size would be a 60KK and the cups too small.

That being said, I'd order up if you get it, as mine ran small in comparison *assuming* sister sizing would equate across two bands.

Since I was transitioning from a 32G/30GG that was several cups too small at the time, the band felt good. :-D

    • 1

Ugh...want so bad. The colour is so beautiful. Though I'm worried about the in cup quadding and coverage. I'm thinking that I would need the 65F over the 65FF but not sure.

    • Ugh...want so bad. The colour is so beautiful. Though I'm worried about the in cup quadding and coverage. I'm thinking that I would need the 65F over the 65FF but not sure.

    • 1

Sorry for the double comments. I got a little jumpy with my thumb. 😂

    • 1

You just need to order them both then, for bra science!! :-D

    • 1

If only I had the money. I'm looking at getting a Cabernet from Broad Lingerie so I might be able to try both of the first one doesn't fit.

    • 1

Sending well wishing for unexpected wealth your way Calluna <3

    • 1

It's hard right now until my husband's PR card is renewed and he can work again. As it is, it's $125 CAD for the Cabernet if I order from Broad Lingerie unless they have a BF sale. It's a bit more expensive, but it's also a Canadian shop that I can return to if it doesn't fit, which is important for a style that I've never tried. I'm not sure how cheaper it would be to order directly, but I would have to ship to a friend in the states and then to me to avoid DHL. There's just so many charges, that I don't know how much a Baklazan or Porto would be on the end.

    • 1

Did you check with Jaimie at Bra Obsessed? For some bras it only says she has one or two sizes but if you e-mail her and ask she might have more (she only had BM Fioletowy listed in 75F but I emailed her and asked and she had a 70FF which wasn't listed on the website).

I paid CAD115 with shipping to New Jersey.

    • Calluna, no worries! There are plenty of Ewa options for this style regularly, plus the Black Friday sale right is around the corner, so no rush on buying! When you have the funds, something perfect in your size will be available I'm sure. :-)

    • 1

I have not asked Jamie. Not a lot on the site in my size, but I can try to email. Good idea. And yeah, I can wait until I the funds...only, you know...I can't wait. 😂 I need more bras that fit!

    • Sorry :-(

  18. Bm Bibi Scarlet (778)

Scarlet is a half lace BM in a bright red color. The cups are in the typical format, with 2 lower sections (1 vertical seam) in a silky nylon, and one upper stretch lace section that is not lined with mesh like most full lace BMs are.

The band measures 22.875” and stretches to a max of 28.5”. It has the standard 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar ... to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.8”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

As for fit, the cups are awesome, and fit just like all my half lace BMs. The gore sits 1 finger off my sternum but this is about as good as it gets for me so I’m happy! The band is standard with being comfy on the tightest hookset. Half lace BMs are my Bra Bliss ☺ That being said, I don’t find this color as appealing, as it seems to conflict with my splotchy multi-shade skin. Since the only one who will see it (aside from all of you) is my husband, I will gleefully wear it for its comfort!

    Didn't fit

BM Sofia is a gorgeous purple over black non padded underwire bra in Ewa’s BM style. The cups are done in the standard format of 2 lower sections connected by one vertical seam, one upper stretch lace horizontal section, and a 4th triangle/wedge section that connects the straps to the cup. The BM style is a fuller coverage bra that separates the breasts beautifully.

Unique features of this bra is the sheer peek-a-boo gore and wing section.

The band measures 22.625” and stretches to a max 28.9”. It has the typical 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the ... knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.25”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.

The gore is wider at 0.7” while the normal is 0.5-0.6” for this size. I didn’t notice this as being an issue when I tried it on for photos, but felt it was worth mentioning as it is a bit wide for this size.

As for fit, it’s a bit disappointing. The cups are a very full fit, with the top lace straining, doing a slight flattening and cutting in. While it is still wearable, at least at low tide and in winter under sweatshirts, it is not as comfortable as the BMs usually are in this size and that’s only with 5 minutes in so I’m not sure this one is going to work for me. The gore is just over a finger off the sternum which isn’t bad for me. The hook set is comfortable on the tightest hooks which is also typical.

The mesh that lines the stretch lace on the top of the cups is *a lot* firmer than my other BMs, so it doesn’t have as much give as I’m used to, making it less accommodating than most of the BM models. If it wasn’t for that mesh being so firm, I think this one would be a good fit.

Second "all day" wear today, and should be nearing high tide. The top lace tension now feels normal-like the average BM, so between my 10/29 all day wear and storing the cups filled with balled up shirts (don't laugh) it seems to have worked!! Yay for a comfy wearable bra!

I have been stretching this one out on my boobs. Can't do anything about how tight it is at the strap, but I think it has softened up on the rest of the top. Boobs 1 bra 0 ;)

    • 1

Yeah, if the issue is right at that reinforced area, it may not soften too much. Bummer. :-/

    • 1

Sadly, I tried this one again today and it is a no go. I don't know if the tension returned due to not storing it in a stretched way like I did prior to wearing last time, or it's just that my breasts are now larger since no bra is fitting right now. It's too constrictive with quadding, uncomfortable and so it's being put away for a potential smaller breast day.... :-/ Sniffle sniffle since it's sold out and I can't get it in a larger cup....

      Shame, sorry :(
Sofia really sold out fast :/

    • 1

It did! I wish she would secure more materials for her new releases....

    • 2

Yes! People obviously are tired of beige... please no more beige...

    • 1

Since the colorful bras sell so well, I don't understand why she limits production like this.
Lingerie should be more than just black white beige or red. Give us more of the rainbow!

    • 3

Yes, and an actual rainbow... like a unicorn farted on it. Not pop of colour + black.

    • 3

Unicorn farts, haha! That would be a great bra name! Though pixie dust would be more socially appealing I'm sure. ;-)

  20. Sf Princessa

    SF Princessa in 60KK
I only got this one because I love the SF style and wanted to try out the tulle instead of lace top, and this one was on sale for opening weekend. I was pleasantly surprised that the color is more of a peach than pink, as I’m not the big of a fan of pink. This one has peach lace over white lining on the bottom half of the cups, with the non lace stretch peach opaque double tulle on the top.

The cup construction is the standard for the 60KK with 5 parts-3 lower vertical sections (2 seams) and 1 upper horizontal section plus an ... outer wedge section that connects the cups to the straps securely. While the SF is classified as a semi soft (semi padded) bra, it is not padded. The difference between the SF and Ewa’s BM (which also has the stretch top section to the cups) is that the SF is a thicker/stiffer material. This makes it a firmer and more supportive bra, but can make the strap in the armpit area less comfortable.

The band measures 22.875” and stretches to 29.15”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops which is standard at this size.

The cup height is 8.875” with a width of 6.15”. The depth (measured by hovering the cups between the knees and placing a tape measure inside the cup without any resistance) is 12” and stretches over the knee to a max of 14.75” which (thanks to my squish factor and the stiffness of the material on these cups) fits nicely. While it doesn’t tack, sitting 1.5 finger’s width off the sternum, it is a comfortable wear. This seems to be a common theme for me lately due to some increased growth, but it’s comfortable and the cups fit otherwise so I consider it a good fit. Since Ewa has said no to the SF in a 60L each time I’ve requested it, I gladly accept this fit for the SF style in the 60KK, as I love the support it gives without the padding of the S style. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

Is the upper section very soft? The milk chocolate is and I love it. If this one is it’d be another for the wish list.

    • 1

Yes it is! I'd assume they all will be that way, the ones with this tulle on top. Nice and smooth almost silky like but with stretch!
      :-)

    • Just added two photos of current fit. :-/

      @Brasaremean
I included a comparison of the angle view with and without the flash, to demonstrate how photos can be deceptive, like we talked about the other day .

I can still see the divot in your tissue with the flash. It’s easier to see with the natural light picture though.

    • 1

Yeah, for me (my eyes) I can't see it on the flash photo, even on the computer. Weird how oir eyes work sometimes!
This one is very painful today....I wish my bra orders would show up, sniffle sniffle...
