I seriously loved this bra on me. I loved how the color scheme matched my skin tone as well as how soft the material was against my skin. I didn't actually like this bra in the stock photos. This one is more of a "you have to see it, to believe it". I really, really like it.
The band is a smidge too tight as are the cups. I'm probably going to try it in a 65KK and hope that Ewa can match it's sister sizing since I was told they can't make it in a 65L. *Sob*

It is awesome isn't it? 😍
Did Kaska tell you no or did she tell Magda no?

    • It is SO awesome. Told Magda they could sew a 60L and 65KK but a 60LL/65L aren't possible.

    • Okay. Well since Kaska told me yes to both the BM and SFs in a 60LL on 1/16/19, we know that Ewa is playing selective allowance again. Sorry. :-/
Hopefully the 65KK works, otherwise you can send her photos of it to gain approval for the 65L.

This is lovely. I have the PL, might have to get this too.

    • Sigh. Boo. Yep. I am crossing my fingers on it and taking it from there. Eek.

It truly is. It's so nice, Sovavosi :)

    • Its so pretty! I hope the next size works.

This bra is pretty darn comfortable. That material is so soft. Sadly, I'm quadding in this one too, and the band is a bit snug.

I personally love the half lace feel more than the full lace BMs. They are softer, lighter, silky feeling. 💕 Dreamy 💙

    • 1

Oh it's so sad this one doesn't work on you. The colour looks beautiful on you.

    • 2

MamaPagan I might have to agree. They're a lot sturdier too. I felt more supported :)

      @wilderness1 I know it! Such a shame. Luckily I ordered a 60L in Koronkowa Scarlet ;)

I actually get quadding in this BM on both sides. It's kind of odd how my smaller side has tissue getting shoved out the opposite side.
Boy, but is this band the sweet spot. It's wonderful.

Glad the band is good! Too bad the cups aren't. O.o

    • 1

      Small victories ;)

    • Indeed. We'll take all the victories we can get. :-D

    • 1

This colour looks SOOOO good on you though!!

I guess you're a 60L? The 60L SF Iris looks like the best fit of this lot.

    • 2

I gotta ask, how do you do with a 60 band and a 72cm super tight measurement? I can just barely handle my 65 bands, even though I feel like if I had a tighter band the support would be way way better!

    • 1

Oh I just realised that the tone of what I wrote is weird (forgive my non-nativeness). What I meant is, is it actually bearable? I've been thinking of trying out a 60 but I'm so unsure...

    • AprilGoulding Hey thanks! I actually think I'm more of a 65KK but since both of my 65K SF's I tried have major quadding, I might have to try a 65L. I'm very unsure about it.

,@brasaremean hahaha, no that's okay. I understand your question. Based on the measurement of the band on a lot of the 28's I posted yesterday, they're actually more of an "in between" size. They're not small enough to be a 28, but not big enough to merit a 30 band. They're tight, yes. But, the thing is with my tissue, I find that sometimes I need a snugger band. I think it's got a large part to do with how pendulous my breasts are when compared to others. Most of the time, they work out. Other times, I feel suffocated.
I wouldn't recommend sizing down in the band if you feel your 65's are already pretty tight. I only did it out of error. My band was being pushed down my ribcage (which happens to measure an inch to an inch and a half smaller) by my breasts. I'm probably going to try a 65 band again :)

    • brasaremean Maybe it makes more sense to say that the weight of my breasts were pushing my band down and out of my IMF zone. :)

    • 1

brasaremean In the upper cup ranges, Ewa's band lengths get wonky so half the time a 60 band is cut more to the length of a 65. DerangedDragons19 is between band needs, a bit too big for a true 60 band but below the need for a TTS 65. These bras she is trying are mine that I sent to her to test out, so she knew what size they were ahead of time. It makes it easier as she is trying to figure out her band and cup needs. With the inconsistencies of Ewa over the last year, it is really difficult (and expensive) as you know to go through trial and error with Ewa in unreturnable sizes.

    • 1

MamaPagan Indeed! And you're seriously a lifesaver haha. That's my conunudrum. I don't know if I want to chance ordering a 65KK and having it be too big in the band/small in the cups or risk a 60L SF and have the band too big :/

    • I'm not sure if you tried my 65K PinUp yet, but if so you can see it runs smaller in the cup than the other SF 60KKs, so not a true sister size in cup volume. The 70JJ was even smaller in volume than the 65K. Point being, 65L may serve you better *IF* Ewa is willing to make it *AND* allow you to order it. :-/

    • 1

MamaPagan I did try yours and I did have quadding :( a lot of it.
Right, and that's the theory I was running with. The 65L might be the best option if she's willing to make it. Depth is non-existent (apparently) in the SF as you go up in cup sizes. It's pretty irritating.

    • 1

Singular depth doesn't change much *but* overall cup volume does. The bottom three sections are sewn differently to allow for more space. The 60KK to 60L don't measure that different but space wise you can tell there's more room indeed.
They just failed to get sister sizing correct. :-/

    • 1

MamaPagan She and I actually have almost exact same underbust measurements is why I asked mainly. Both upside down and the regular way, the 65 feels pretty tight, esp after I've worn it for a couple hours.

    • Honestly maybe it's due to too small cups, I don't even know anymore. The 65GGs I have are all pretty shallow for me. I think custom Antonina I'm ordering in 65H. Since I'm paying extra anyways...

    • It could be brasaremean, but it could also be the fact that Ewa makes the 60 band longer in K and over cups. Due to this, it wouldn't really be comparable. It is all very frustrating indeed.
Hopefully Antonina works better for you.

    • 1

MamaPagan That's what I meant in a lot less words :P the sister sizing thing has me so confused. I don't know why Ewa can't get it right. It's not even just our cup range but the smaller sizes too :/

@brasaremean As I mentioned, it's a little different for me since my band gradually gets pushed down, but even for me, now that I've tried on several TTS and not TTS 60 bands, I can say with confidence that the 65 band is what I should be wearing, even if I have to wear it on the tightest hookset. I haven't had the chance to wear one of the non TTS 60 bands, but they just FEEL better. It makes the quadding I get seem less pinched in the cups too.
I can understand wanting to size down to try and fix fit issues--believe me. I really don't think it's going to help you as much as you're hoping though :(
Hopefully your 65H can answer some questions for you! :)

This one was so comfy when it fit. It was nice for sure. 💚

    • 1

Yup. Maryna is wonderful. I love her. She is my favorite SF. I love her for heavy workload days. Too bad you get quadding :(

    • 2

I think people's photos have changed my mind on this one. SF seems to fit my shape better than BM currently, so maybe I'll order it next time...

    • 1

Sovavosi I find I prefer the shape the SF gives me as well as the comfort (well it's only one SF I own, but still) ..that's not to say the BMs aren't comfy..but I still prefer the SF to it..I'm just iffy on the inconsistencies

DerangedDragons19 this is really pretty, sorry about the fit though :/

    • 1

It might just be confimation bias but I think the BM fit swings more wildly than the SF. Only Blueberry has been majorly off.

    • 2

with my string of luck with BMs lately, that may be so..lol

    • 2

AprilGoulding yep! It's too bad, but I like to think of it as I know what works now :D

@sovavosi it's so. SOFT. ;) Also, you're probably right in terms of the BM fit being off. Although, I have two 65K SF pinups that measure differently too :/ neither fit and have tons of quadding 🤨

@frazzleberry I actually have to agree with you. I always liked the SF :) and it's okay! Now I know ;)
Oof. Yes, your BM luck is quite bad 🤦🤣

    • Sovavosi This one is now on clearance so no luck with ordering it. (Sorry.)

I go back and forth between loving the BM vs the SF more. Currently, I too favor the SF over the BM.

    • 1

Soft is good! SF Milk Chocolate was so soft and silky. I loved the feeling of it.

    • 3

Both Milk and Dark Chocolate are available on Ewa's site now. I ordered both through Magda on the last two orders. Here's to soft and snag free (which I so need!) 🍀

    • 2

Yes MamaPagan I noticed that! I'm very excited for it, whenever next I have the chance/funds I'm going to order one :)

    • 1

hoping that your order works out MamaPagan :)

    • 1

      Thank you Frazzleberry : -)

    • 1

I second that! I hope your order works out MamaPagan 🙃

    • 2

Thank you DerangedDragons19. I'm not too worried with the SFs 60Ls. So far so good! The BMs are more risky but the 60KKs don't work anymore regardless so what can one do? Request a 60KK and a half? 😄 Or maybe a barely 60L instead? 😄😬😄

    • 2

I wonder what Kaska would say if I tried ordering one of those..... 😄

I've just got to mention how SOFT the fabric of this bra is against my skin. The fabric is the SAME on the inside. It's crazy, crazy soft. I love it.
The band fit comfortably. I think it makes it more like a 65 band.

That doesn’t look too bad elsewhere, just the overspill. Ewa loves making her 60 bands random sizes. I have a few 30”+ also, and some that are 27”.

    • 1

Haha, true and thanks. I agree. It's pretty decent. I'm thinking I need to try a 65KK, borderlining on a 65L though :o

    • 1

Sorry it didn't work out. I love the blue grey of this bra, just not the pink pompom. At least this one is still available for order so you could try another size.

    • 1

MamaPagan true! I'm excited to try a size up. My boobs were in heaven 🤣🙃

    • 1

I ordered it in a 60L on the last Magda order.

    • 1

MamaPagan I wanted it in the 60LL, but I was told no 🙃

    • 2

60L would most likely serve you DerangedDragons19 , or a 65L due to the reasons we'd discussed. 🍀

Added a photo of the thong, size 46. I only tried it on, but I don't think it's going to work. For those who have wide hips/waist not expected by the size chart, it's going to ride up the hips and settle on the waist. I'd need to get something a size or two smaller so it fits very snug on the hips.

    • 1

Sorry honey. Thongs always ride up on me too, so I don't/can't wear them. I do not like the wedgie effect...... :-[

  7. Pl Maskarada Zielona (custom Order Only) (996)

PL Maskarada Zielona is a custom color version of Ewa’s PL Croptop Maskarada. While the Croptop normally comes with beige cups, I ordered it with the Hunter Green from S Zielony Piepezyk instead. Both versions come with black lace “halter top” attached to the bra, which gives a faux longline look as well. The straps on the “halter top” are separate from the bra and completely adjustable on their own, allowing for a truly custom fit and comfort. The PL Maskarada comes a black lace “mask” hence the name.

The cups below the lace are the standard PL cups, with the construction of 2 to 3 vertical lower ... sections (dependent on cup size) with one horizontal/vertical section on top. The PL style cup is a light padded foam lined cup with cookie pockets and removable cookies. The cookies can be removed, used to give extra oomph, or added to one side only to correct asymmetry between the breasts. The band has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eyes, though I can’t say for sure if the lower cup ranges has 2 or 3 hooks as standard.

As for specifics, the band measures 23” and stretches to 28.5” which is about standard for a 60 band. The cup depth has a conservative flat measurement of 12.75” and stretches to 14” which is also about standard. The gore is 3.75” tall and .75” wide, which was a bit taller and wider than expected or desired but still wearable. The cup width is 6.25” which is wider than I prefer, but with the cup angle is actually to my benefit as it allows the breast tissue to go somewhere instead of quadding. The cup height is 8.25” which is a bit shorter than anticipated. The wing is 4.8” which is the same as the PL Dark Magenta I have at this size.

This custom color variation was 40zl (PLN) more than the standard version. To order, you can email Kaska at Ewa (sklep@ewa-michalak.pl) but you do need to set up an account with them on their website first. (www.ewa-michalak.pl)

  8. Fc/s Belladonna Nununu (1151)

The FC/S Belladonna Nununu is a custom color version (Periwinkle from Ewa’s Nununu bra) of the normally beige cups with black lace covering them.

This bra is a full cup padded bra in Ewa’s typical S style but with black lace in a triangle formation over the cups and beyond added for extra support. This black lace is attached to the cups and also midway up the straps but not the full length, which allows for stretch and give of the lace and straps without distorting it or the cups. The S style cup is a light padded foam lined cup with cookie pockets and removable cookies. The ... cookies can be removed, used to give extra oomph, or added to one side only to correct asymmetry between the breasts. The cup construction is 2 to 3 vertical lower sections (dependent on cup size) with one horizontal section on top.

The band has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eyes, though I can’t say for sure if the lower cup ranges has 2 or 3 hooks as standard. This particular band ran large and was quite stretchy.

For this bra, I ordered a cup down from my normal S size to see if it would give me more lift and feel less “bulky” than the other S bra I have & tried previously. It did not have this effect, and is too small except on my lowest tide days. (I have a cup/+ variance each month, with highest being at ovulation and lowest at menses.) I can still wear it outside of the lowest tide days, as the lace covers quadding quite well, so I do like the bra.

This FC/S style is more supportive and it does feel more secure than any other padded bra I’ve tried. I’d almost venture to say it would work fairly well as a sports bra since it does feel so supportive and secure, though I cannot guarantee that.

As for specifics, the band measures 23.75” and stretches to 31” which is large for a 60 band. The cup depth has a conservative flat measurement of 12” and stretches to 13.25” which is a smaller than anticipated. The gore is 4.25” tall and .6” wide. The cup width is 6.25” which is wider than I prefer, but with the cups measuring small this is actually to my benefit as it allows the breast tissue to go somewhere. The cup height is 8.25” which is shorter than anticipated as well, but the extra lace does provide extra coverage so still very securing. The wing is 4.4” which is a good height at this size.

This custom color variation was 50zl (PLN) more than the standard version. To order, you can email Kaska at Ewa (sklep@ewa-michalak.pl) but you do need to set up an account with them on their website first. (www.ewa-michalak.pl)

  9. Bm Porto (1397)

    BM Porto 60KK

BM Porto is an unpadded fuller coverage full lace bra in a beautiful reddish-purple wine with black accents. The cups have the standard 3 pieces, 2 lower sections with one vertical seam and an upper horizontal stretch lace section, plus it has an outer wedge area that connects the cups to the straps securely. The gore to the wing on the band is a satiny pattern like the cups on the S Porto. The gore has a dual diamond dangle. It looks very elegant.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take ... all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 30” and feels very stretchy. The tulle on the band is semi-sheer. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.25”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

As for fit, the band is stretchy but comfortable on the tightest hook set, and the cups fit beautifully with the gore 1.5 fingers off the sternum (which isn’t bad for me.)

I also ordered the matching panties, which has the same satiny pattern material in the front, and a sexy sheer bikini style back with the same dual diamond dangle on the backside. The 38(10) measures 66cm flat to 89cm stretched, though it is supposed to be for a 91-96cm hip range, so it runs small. I requested these in a 36(8) but didn’t correct Kaska when she wrote up the invoice as the 38 (10), and in this case, I am glad as a size down would most likely have felt less comfortable.

    Didn't fit

    BM Kawa 60KK
This is my second attempt with Kawa, having tried it prior in 60K.

BM Kawa is a limited edition bra that was supposed to be released last fall (2017.) Since I didn’t see it as a release, I asked Kaśka about it in May & she said there was limited materials which was why it wasn’t released, but that I could order it direct. It is a full lace BM style, so it has the 4 sections: 2 lower vertical, 1 horizontal upper lace section, and the upper outer wedge that connects the straps to the cups. The cups are covered in a patterned brown lace, ... but like all BMs, only the top section is stretchy. The lace of the cups is lined with a sheer black material but is not padded in any way.

The band measures 22.15” and stretches to a max 29.25”. It has the typical 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.35”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

This measurement was a bit alarming, as the 60K Kawa measured 12.5” and 15”, making this 60KK actually measure smaller than the 60K! Yes, they both stretch to the same max depth, but by all logic, the 60KK should indeed measure larger both stretched and unstretched, not smaller or even the same.

The 60K also had a tighter band (which is preferred) as it measured to 28.75” compared this 60KK at 29.25”. The 60K cup height was 9.75”, width 6.13”, gore .55” wide & 4.13” tall with the wing being 4.75” while this 60KK has cup height at 9.85”, width of 6.25”, gore .53” wide & 4.15” tall with the wing being 4.5”. Overall, the measurements are too close to the 60K and thus disappointing even before trying it on, leaving me not very optimistic about it fitting better than the 60K, if at all.

As for fit, it’s disappointing. While my initial try on (of 1 minute) led me to *think* I will still be able to wear it, with my second try on, I can see this one is clearly too small and won’t be wearable unless I lose some breast mass. The gore sits a full 2 fingers off my sternum and on breast tissue, the stretch lace is at max tension and does create some quadding when I do a swoop and scoop (which I failed to do at first try on.) As I am at low tide, I can honestly say this one is a dud for me, and thus goes into my dead bra bin, but held on to just in case I need a smaller cup in the future.

Since I am trying to build a bra arsenal of ones that are a tad bit too small in the cup as well as ones that fit, I am not angry about this one, just disappointed that it wasn’t larger than the 60K like it should be. Since Ewa won’t currently do BMs in a 60L, I will not be attempting this one a third time. And while yes, there is a chance that if I ordered it again in a 60KK it might yield better results, there hasn’t been enough of a difference between the 60K and 60KK BMs for me to want to try it again without knowing it would be larger in the cup as it should be.

Since I am also at the max end of the Ewa cup limit, I also won’t complain to her about this one either. I really need her to be willing to expand the cup range in the SF/BMs to a 60L but she is not currently willing to do so. So thus, I will save my arguments to pushing for the next cup up instead of complaining about a bit of human error, and hopefully I can get her to expand these two lines to a 60L again. (Since we have 1 BM in the BtB at 60LL, I know she did do them at one point, but I have asked twice so far and been told no, stating they don’t have wires that work for that band/cup combo for the SF/BM style.)

  11. Bm Wersal (1310)

    like

    60KK

    Didn't fit

    BM Wersal 60KK
This is my second attempt with Wersal, having tried it prior in 60K. While the 60K wasn’t a terrible fit, it didn’t tack and based on the other BM’s I’ve tried in both 60K & 60KK, I was confident I would get a better fit with the 60KK here as well.

BM Wersal is a beautifully bright blue laced BM with beige lining. The cup construction is the typical BM style, with 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section, with a wedge area that connects the straps to the cups securely. The upper horizontal section is always made of a stretch lace, ... and this particular model has the upper lace section lined as well, which can vary by model. This lining doesn’t provide bulk, just modesty so you can’t see the nipples through the bra but does not stop them from showing through a shirt on a cold day. The BM style bra is not padded and provides full and separated coverage.

The band measures 22.75” and stretches to 28” so, like the 60K, it’s firmer than the typical no lace band. One odd feature for this model is it has 3 hooks but only 3 rows of eye loops. Every single Ewa bra I’ve gotten so far has had 4 rows of eye loops, so I was surprised this one only had 3. The stock photos reflected this as well though, so I knew it was a possibility before receiving.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.75”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.9”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup height is 10”, width is 6.25”, and the gore .55” wide with 4.15” tall. To compare, the 60K had a depth of 12.5” to a max of 15.85”, height of 9.85”, gore .5” wide with 4.15” tall.

While I cannot tell yet if there is more depth below the apex to justify a 60KK, it is clear that this one measures far too similar to the 60K, and disappointing based on measurements. All 4 in this order were 60KK bras that I’d tried prior in 60K, and all 4 did not have enough of a difference to make them a cup up from the 60K, in fact, one (Kawa) was actually smaller in the cup than the 60K.

As for fit, the band is super comfortable on the tightest hooks, which is about normal for me at this point. The gore sits 1.5 fingers off the sternum, so exactly the same as the 60K Wersal. The cups themselves are a nice full fit and are comfortable. So while there is no improvement in fit compared to the 60K, this one is still wearable, at least at my current low tide. I will keep the 60K in my dead bra bin in case I need a smaller cup in the future (so I don’t stretch them out), but plan on trying to get some use out of this one now so it’s not a total loss.

So, with this order, I got 2 that fit better in the cup, one that fit the exact same, and one that that fit smaller/worse. I am taking it that the seamstress was having an off day and hopefully this isn’t an indicator of future orders to come. It is orders like these that shed light on the fact that discrepancies within our database here aren’t always measuring differences, but indeed can/do reflect manufacturing differences.

This order marks 44 bras I’ve attempted with Ewa, of which 22 have been BMs, of those 1 being 60JJ, 11 being 60K, 10 being 60KK so I am confident now that I should be going with the 60KK, and that aside from this rogue order, the style is consistent otherwise.

  12. Bm Fluo

    BM Fluo 60KK
This is my second attempt with Fluo, having tried it prior in a 60K.

Fluo is pink. I mean really bright, eye pain pink. I love the bright color! It’s truly neon not a hot pink. I am not a fan of pink, but this is an awesome pink color. The lining is white which accentuates the pink nicely.

The cup construction is the typical BM style, with 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section, with a wedge area that connects the straps to the cups securely. The upper horizontal section is always made of a stretch lace, and this particular model ... has the upper lace section lined as well, which can vary by model. This lining doesn’t provide bulk, just modesty so you can’t see the nipples through the bra but does not stop them from showing through a shirt on a cold day. The BM style bra is not padded and provides full and separated coverage.

One thing that is unique about this one is that the wedge area is the non-lace band material instead of lace. This doesn’t affect the fit or wear, but was different than most of the other lace BMs so I thought it was worth mentioning.

The band measures 22.4” and stretches to 28”. It has the standard 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.65”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 16”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

To compare to Fluo in 60K, it had a smaller band at 21.25” to a max of 27.75”. The cup width was the same 6.15” and the depth was 12” to a max of 15.65” making the 60KK less than ½” more max depth at the apex. The wing and gore was higher on the 60K, at 4.75” and 4.25” compared to this one at 4.5” and 4.15”. The 60KK is ¼” taller in the cup.

As for fit, the band is comfortable on the 2nd from the tightest setting, but could easily be on the tightest. The cups fit nice and full but the gore is 1.5 fingers off the sternum. Since the cups are otherwise comfortable, don’t feel strained, and the wires aren’t irritating to my breast tissue, I will consider this one a good fit as well. It is definitely a better fit than the 60K, though yes, technically it is still not ideal. Of the 3 I’ve tried so far within this order, these cups feel the best, even though Fioletowy tacked a bit better, these cups feel better to me even when I force the gore to tack, the cups still fit nicely without overflow.

  13. Bm Fioletowy

    BM Fioletowy 60KK
This is my 3rd attempt with Fioletowy, having tried it in 60JJ and 60K prior.

BM Fioletowy is an unpadded Purple full lace bra. It is normally a Bra Obsessed exclusive, but since they didn’t have my size, I asked Kaśka if I could order it direct and was told yes. It is the standard BM style, and has a black sheer lining to strengthen the lace of the cup.

The band measures 22.15” and stretches to a max of 28.75”. It has the standard 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape ... measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.7”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

To compare this 60KK to the prior 60JJ & 60K:
60JJ band was 21.5”-28.5” max, cup width 6”, 8.5” tall with depth of 11.75 to max of 13.75”, with gore .5” wide and 3.8” tall, and a wing of 4.5”.
The 60K band was 21.5”-29” max, cup width 6.25”, 9.5” tall with depth of 12.25 to a max of 15.5”, with gore .55” wide and 4.25” tall, and a wing of 4.75”.
That makes the 60KK depth and height barely more than the 60K, with a lower wing and gore. Not enough of an increase to logically be a cup more, but at least a bit better. I cannot say if there is more depth lower below the apex or not, but I am trying to figure out how to gauge this.

I am amazed that there was such a jump between the 60JJ and 60K, but that there’s hardly any difference between the 60K and 60KK. With the 60KK being the largest cup Ewa is willing to do in the BM style, I don’t understand why there would be such a jump at the end of the range like this.

As for fit, the band is perfectly comfortable on the tightest setting, which while not “ideal” is what I consider a win since it doesn’t feel loose. The gore sits about a finger off the sternum and the cups are a nice full fit, and it felt comfortable during the 10 minutes that I wore it to assess fit. If I force the gore to tack, it does strain the stretch lace, but I won’t be walking around forcing the gore to tack, haha, so at this point, 1 finger off the sternum is about as good as it gets for me, and I will still consider this one a fit.

  14. Sf Szaron Bra (1284)

    SF Szaron 60KK

Szaron is classified as a Semi Soft bra (aka Semi Padded), though it has no padding what so ever. The logic is that the material is stiffer, and thus EM considers this padded, which it clearly is not. If you are looking for a padded bra, this is not for you. If you are looking for a supportive bra, then this one is perfect for you. Aside from the misleading description of the SF bras on EM’s website, this bra style is quite nice. The color on the cups is a light blueish grey with white and pale pink accents. It also have a pink pompom ... at the gore. Personally, I’d prefer it to not have the pompom. The upper lace is stretchy which allows for fluctuations in fullness as well as asymmetry.

The band measures 22.75” to a max of 29.5” and has 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12”

At best, I get a soft tack in my SFs at this point on lower tide days, and no tack at all at higher tide. So far, Ewa is not willing to do an SFs in a 60L, so I make do with the 60KKs. They do fit for the most part and are comfortable. I do find the SF to be more supportive (less jiggly) than the BM style, which is definitely more comfortable.

  15. Bm Bibi Tulipan (521)

    BM Bibi Czarny Tulipan 60KK

Bibi Czarny Tulipan is a half lace, unpadded full coverage bra. It has 4 sections to the cup, 2 lower vertical ones, an upper horizontal, and an outer wedge section that connects the straps to the cup. As with all the BMs, the upper lace section is always stretch lace.

The band measures 23” and stretches to 30”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.25”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching ... it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.

This bra is my bra bliss. It fits perfectly, is completely comfortable, and feels supportive all while feeling like I’m not wearing a bra at all. I have also tried two other half lace BMs, both of which are also perfection in bra form. While I really like the full lace BMs and the SFs, comfort and fit wise, the Half Lace BMs are far better. My only complaint with the Half Lace BMs is that Ewa doesn’t make more variety of them. Currently you have this one (Black), Bianka (White), Fuksja (Black w Purple), Scarlet (Red), and Bezowa Perla (Beige). I really wish we’d see some bright and bold colors in the Half Lace style. Give me Green, Blue, Purple please!!!

  16. Sm Tattoo

    SM Tattoo 60KK

Tattoo is an unpadded full lace bra in the SM style. The SM in 60KK comes with 4 parts: 3 lower vertical sections (2 seams) and 1 upper horizontal section. There is also a triangle section above the cups that connects to the strap for support. The SM style does not have the stretch lace like the SF and BM styles do, so it’s basically a fit or fail bra. The cups are unpadded and thin yet supportive. This one is a nude color, with black accents and design, as well as a shimmery beige pattern added in. This nude color does not match my pale ... splotchy skin, but I do still like the pattern and design, especially with the contrasting black accents.

The band measures 23.25” and stretches to 31.5”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.75”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.

As for fit, I get a nice rounded shape with this one which doesn’t seem common based on other Tattoo reviews. The straps are too wide set and eat my armpits, while the band requires the tightest hook set for a comfy loose fit. All and all, wearable but less than ideal. After this one, I tried Koralik which was a fail, so I will stick with the BMs and SFs which give me a consistently better fit.

    BM Bibi Bianka in 60KK

BM Bibi Bianka is a half lace BM in simple white. There is nothing spectacular about this bra, but it is an excellent fit. The cups are the BM standard 4 sections: 2 lower vertical, 1 upper horizontal stretch lace section, and an upper outer wedge that connects the strap to the cup. This, like all BMs, is unlined and has the stretch lace on the top of the cup.

The band measures 23.125” and stretches to a max of 30”, so it’s really stretchy. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the ... knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”

Like my other half lace BMs, I love the comfort and fit of this bra! It’s so comfortable and cozy. I would prefer the band to be smaller/tighter, but have gotten used to needing the tightest hook-set from the start, so I can wear this comfortably this way. The Half Lace BMs are my Bra Bliss, and my only complaint is that there are not more color varieties available for them. Honestly, they are the most comfortable bras I own.

Funny side note, my husband told me (jokingly) that he wasn’t going to take photos of this one since it was white and looked like underwear. I hadn’t thought of it, but this is the plainest bra I own!

I’m itchin to try a half lace BM!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. We've talked alot about how most are not much different than bikinis, but this one apparently had the under garment vibe. Haha! Gotta love the male perspective! :-)

I do love the half lace BMs. I get a much better fit with them, just wish they had a bit more flare!

  18. Bm Absynt

BM Absynt in 60K and 60KK
I ordered this one in both 60K and 60KK during opening weekend to take advantage of the sale price. I am currently between these two sizes for Ewa’s BMs, so depending on the model, I can take either (or as it turns out, sometimes both!)

I must say this bra is an awesome color. I love the bright lighter green and the contrasting purple straps and accents. A combo of my favorite colors! I did find it odd that the purples used are not really matching, so the purple on the straps isn’t the same as the purple on the ... bow, nor does either completely match the purple on the hook/eye loop area. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but is a bit odd. The lining is white, as are the strap adjusters.
The strap adjusters are like suspender type adjusters-lift, slide, then close. This make it so much nicer and easier to adjust the straps.

The cup construction is the typical BM style, with 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section, with a wedge area that connects the straps to the cups securely. The upper horizontal section is always made of a stretch lace, and this particular model has the upper lace section lined as well, which can vary by model. This lining doesn’t provide bulk, just modesty so you can’t see the nipples through the bra but does not stop them from showing through a shirt when browsing the freezer section at the supermarket. The BM style bra is not padded and provides full and separated coverage.

The band measures 21.75” & stretches to 27.75” on the 60K, and 22.5” to 28.5” on the 60KK. Both have the standard 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops for these sizes.

The cup heights are similar with 9.75” (60K) & 9.85” (60KK) and widths are 6.15” (60K) & 6.25” (60KK). The depth (measured by hovering the cups between the knees and placing a tape measure inside the cup without any resistance) was 12” for 60K and 12.25” for the 60KK, with them stretching over the knee to a max of 15.1” (60K) and 15.35” for the 60KK. The gores are both 4.25” tall and .6” wide.

As for fit, they both fit beautifully, but the 60K doesn’t tack (sitting about 1 finger’s width off the sternum) and the 60KK does a soft tack. While the straps are narrower than most Ewa bras in my size at .75”, they do not cause any pain or discomfort with all day wear.

    Didn't fit

SM Koralik in 60K and 60KK
I ordered this one in both 60K and 60KK during opening weekend to take advantage of the sale price. I only have one SM so far, Tattoo, so I wasn’t confident in the size I’d need, and with my constant ebb and flow changes, I thought it would be best to try both the 60K and 60KK.

As the name suggests, SM Koralik is a coral color in a dainty lace pattern with a sheer beige liner on the bottom of the cups. The cups are unpadded and thin yet supportive. The cups on the 60K are 3 parts with ... 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section. The 60KK has 4 parts with 3 lower vertical sections (2 seams) and 1 upper horizontal section. The upper section is not lined so nipples do show through this bra if your nipples sit above the horizontal seam like mine do.

The band on the 60K measured 21.75” and stretched to 28.5”, while the 60KK was 22.5” and stretched to 29.25”. Both sizes came with the 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops which are standard in these sizes for Ewa.

The cup width was 6” for both, with the height being 8.5” on the 60K and 8.8” for the 60KK. The depth (measured by hovering the cups between the knees and placing a tape measure inside the cup without any resistance) was 12.15” for 60K and 12.3” for the 60KK, with them stretching over the knee to a max of 14.55” on the 60K and 15” for the 60KK. To compare, my SM Tattoo in 60KK was 9” tall with a depth of 12.75” to max of 15.25” so Koralik runs smaller than Tattoo did. The gore height was similar on the Koralik with 4”(60K) and 4.1”(60KK) and both were ½” wide.

As for fit, I am sadly disappointed. Neither of these fit beautifully like SM Tattoo did. The shape of the cup is odd, so it squishes and flattens my breasts around the nipple area, creating a painfully uncomfortable bra. The 60K does an odd sort of quadding, and the gore sits 1.5 fingers off the sternum. The 60KK doesn’t fare much better. While it doesn’t quad per se, it does the same flattening/squishing and also sits about 1 finger off the sternum. So different from Tattoo which gave me a perfectly rounded beautiful shape. I am now leery about trying another SM, as from the reviews for Tattoo, it seems to be an odd fit for most, so this leads me to believe Koralik is the standard fit, and sadly not the right shape for me.

  20. Bm Kleks (861)

I already had Kleks in 60K & while it fits nice and full at lowest tide, it became quite clear it was too small in the cup during the rest of the month, so I ordered it again at 60KK.

Compared to the other BMs that I have, Kleks fits more like the half lace ones than the full lace ones. Kleks definitely runs smaller than the other full lace BMs, at least in my size range.

    Measurements for 60KK=
Band 23.5” flat to 29.75” stretched with 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.
Cup depth is 12.15” (measured hovered between the knees with the tape measure placed into ... the cups without any resistance) to a max of 15.5” stretched over the knee.
Cup height is 10” and width is 6.25”
Wing is 4.65” and gore is .65” wide and 4.25”tall

So, the difference between the two is minimal but hopefully will make a difference for fitting better at higher tides for me. (I’m at low tide right now, so can’t say for sure but the 60KK fits great now at least! Haha. I will try to add photos at high tide if I remember.)

I really wish that Ewa wouldn’t make the band longer in the 60KKs, but it seems to be a consistent design and when I requested them to be shorter I was told no in a slightly offensive way. Specifically, Kaska at Ewa told me that all bras will be made to standard and if I want a shorter band I will need to hire a seamstress to shorten them for me, or I will have to go to Poland so Ewa can measure me herself then decide if she is willing to accommodate my request…….uh….yeah…… So much for her “body positive” motto! (I then gave her my measurements and she requested photos, front, side, and back of me in an Ewa 60KK bra. I sent them (SF Maryna) and stated that even 1cm shorter would be of great assistance to me and she said she’ll see what Ewa can do, but then never got back to me and my order arrived, surprise, without shorter bands.) Oh well, such is life, right? Ugh.

So, keep in mind if you’re above a 60K cup, expect the bands to run a size large, and no Ewa will not make a 55 band in a cup above a J due to wire distortion and incompatibility at a larger cup size, so if you need them shorter, you’ll have to do so yourself.
