TERRIBLE!! made my boobs look weirdly lumpy. i think due to the seams running through the bra it was tighter in some panels than others and was just weird. i thought curvykate bras were good ones but this being the first that i tried, I'm not sure if i i will try more or not. the wire was also poking into my side which was irratating. hoping to return this bra and most likely not buy any more curvy kate bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Gotta say the Desire is the absolute worst Curvy Kate bra there is. I wouldn't let it put you off them as a brand - perhaps check out more reviews before ordering next time, as Desire seems to be pretty awful on everyone. Smoothie is a much better t-shirt bra, one of the best I've ever tried.
I have to agree. I tried this one recently because brastop had it for 10.95. i can say it doesn't compare to anything else CK makes! it gave me all types of weird lumps and bumps too. Their Curvy Kate Roxie Padded Plunge Bra (SG2311) is a MUCH better example of what they do as a brand and a great plunge if you're looking for one!!
I was looking for a smooth bra since most of my current bras are seamed but unfortunately this doesn't work for my shape at all. I have FOB, narrow, slightly splayed breasts and the cups didn't really bring my breasts together at all. The straps are very wide on my (and I don't have particularly narrow shoulders) and the cups were practically in my armpits with some empty space. I think this bra works better on wider-rooted breasts. The band, however, fit great and felt very supportive.
This is so pretty for a black bra! This one is slightly less breathable than the other CK's I got in this batch, mainly because the bottom of the cup isn't mesh but is instead a very sturdy black fabric. This one's a bit weird in that I get a little collapsing just on the bottom. It doesn't feel like it's not filled, just like the fabric is collapsing on itself a little. Other than that, it seems to fit fine. Except the fact that the mesh-y-er fabric just before the strap bubbles out just a little? It bubbles out right at the seem but comes back down by the outer edge of the fabric and sits flush with my boob. So I'm not really sure that's a fit issue... ?
Definitely fits better than the 36FF I originally tried - that one cut into the top of my boobs a little and gave me a bit of quad boob after my boobs 'settled' into the cups (at first it appeared to fit fine). Maybe because of the ribbon? I don't get quite as much uplift and the 'orb' effect I got with the smaller size, but I'd rather compromise on that then get quad boob.
I really like this bra. I have it in the watermelon/plum colourway which is so vibrant and bright. It feels well made and good quality. It's half sheer - the bottom half has ...an extra layer of mesh but it's not totally opaque either. 3 rows of hooks which is what I prefer personally.
The band fits well, it's fairly firm but I could probably go down in the band if I wanted but I don't feel like I absolutely need to right now. There is ribbon on the cups as I mentioned above so if you get cutting in then I would go up a cup size as that definitely helped me, but I do find it fits more or less true to size.
My only real issue with the bra is that the straps are really far apart, they don't fit brilliantly on my shoulders but it doesn't bother me enough to not like the bra. Read more 126 more words
I wanted to love this bra - it's so pretty! The pattern is great, and the colour is fantastic. Unfortunately, it's completely the wrong shape for me - I have empty space in the bottom of the cups, it seems to be too shallow and wide for my breasts (quite projected) but the cups fit perfectly everywhere else. I could do with a smaller band, so perhaps I will give this one another go in a different size.
Probably should have bought a 38. As someone on r/ABTF mentioned in my fitcheck, it seems like my breasts are a little more full on bottom, and this bra doesn't accomodate it as well. There's some wrinkling at the bottom, as my breast tissue has migrated up. The cup/straps also are a little too wide for me, so that it cuts into my armpit if I move my arms forward. So much better support than my old VS bras though.
This is my favorite bra! It fits me perfectly! I love how comfortable I am when I am wearing it from morning to late in the evening. I need to get me more of this line. Although I have notice that the band is very stretchy.
I should have bought this a cup size bigger (one of my ladies is probably more like a GG now). The straps are quite far apart in the front, but closer together in the back, so they don't slip off my shoulders. At first, the edging on the straps felt a bit stiff, but the bra was actually very comfortable to wear all day. The band fits true to size. The bra gave me good uplift, though I would've preferred a more rounded shape (the shape might have been better if I'd gone a cup size up).
Band fits on tightest hook, so as a 34GG. bit of quadro-boob, so more like 34H. Ready my review on this one in 36GG https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
