I *think* I may have finally found my Holy Grail in bras! I recently got fitted at a local boutique (Nordies had me in a DD for YEARS and so I thought discomfort was normal) and found out I was a 36G. I found this beautiful Lilac/Orchid on eBay for 25 dollars from a Store Seller and figured I would try it. I was very skeptical at first due to a lot of bra bloggers saying they were having trouble with fit but I'm so glad I took the chance!

The fit, is PERFECT (I think, I'm new to this whole proper fitting bra game eek!) I love ... the natural but uplifted shape it gives and you wouldn't know it by looking at it but it is very very supportive. I can wear it all day and not even know it's on, no poking, no strap slippage. I put it on in the morning and never have to tug or pull or readjust anything throughout the day. The color, a gorgeous light purple with contrasting embroidery that goes from light to dark purple and a dark purple ribbon, has a very fairytale look to it. The fabric is really soft but the flocked dots DO tend to pick up any color so I have to be very careful if I choose to where it with a dark color and if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Also, strap adjustment, the straps are adjustable. It takes a little patience to do it, but be very careful and you can slowly wiggle up and down without harming your straps https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Overall, it's a great fitting and gorgeous bra that I would recommend, but I do have one lone tenny tiny problem with it. I feel like the wires on the side could be a smidge taller. Again, I'm new to proper fitting bras so maybe it's just in my head and it really is a perfect fit. I'm going to ask for Fitting Help and see what everyone else says and then I will revise my review.

I don't like sheer bras, but alas it seems that big boob life is full of sheer bras. This bra is bold, vibrant, quite comfortable. It just didn't fit me.

Beautiful, comfy bra....if you manage to get the band-size right! I'm usually a 36, but on this bra I needed to get out the extender. The fabric feels very delicate - I love the lace! I'm definitely going to see if I can find a better band size for me.

Comfy and quite flattering - the cup is beautifully made! The sides fade in colour quickly though, and has started to sprout elastic.

Comfortable but with a bit of a pointy silhouette. The lace edging folds easily and shows under clothing.

Comfy and flattering. The lace edging has a tendency to bend outwards, however, and after less than a year, a wire popped. I get a little bit of a quadboob on my biggest boob, but overall, nice enough bra.

Very comfortable with a pleasing shape. Not as supportive as it could be, but for everyday life it's worked well for me. For light exercise it might not hold you as firmly. One of my favourites!

This bra gives a ton of lift and has a fairly strong band compares to the unlined styles (not a lot of stretch probably due to the moulded cups). It fits a little wonky. I don't think there's enough depth for my projection and it was kind of a struggle though the day to keep things sitting correctly. It fit better than CK Daily Dream for me though. I believe it's discontinued (?) so there weren't a lot of options for trying different sister sizing or changes for cup/band. It was super flattering while wearing a shrug over a fitted camisole though. The wings felt a little high for my short torso. The underwire channels are probably about an inch longer than the underwire itself which seems to contribute to the wonky fit. The star charm at the gore is super cute and none of the style details interfere with any tops. It's close to being good for me, but I find it overall just okay.

The detail lace is a little too much at first wear. It's a little itchy and the lace details that go up the strap, while pretty, make the strap feel thick. It fit so well, and was a decent steal of a price, so I decided to use it as my guinea pig bra. For me, after a day or two of wearing this bra and washing, I didn't notice these things nearly as much. Surprisingly enough, the lace detail at the top of the cup does not seem to interfere with any tops I've worn. YMMV though. The cup is definitely too small and the stitching on ... the panel sort of gives me quad-boobing inside the cup when I move certain ways. I have not tried this in a 36GG, but I imagine it would fix that issue (as upsizing the cup did with their Princess plunge). White is also a terrible color if you wear 99% black shirts (the dot details pick up color like crazy!), but I found this on Amazon for about $23 and I wasn't going to argue for that price!

The same applies to this bra as the Curvy Kate Princess Balcony with the lace. The gore sits lower (because plunge) and for softer tissue, like me, I do have a little trouble keeping my breast seated in the cup. The cup is also a size too small, so that's a contributing factor (obviously), but I got this for a steal of a price from Amazon and wasn't going to complain about the color or the fit. I needed a bra so bad at the time, I figured I could wear this one since it mostly fit while I was tracking down one that really fits. For what it is worth, a 36GG of this style is a really good fit for me.

Once more, not the right bra for me. The band is on the loose side of comfortable, the gore doesn't tack and the top of the cups wrinkle quite a bit. Also, most of the cup is made of see-through fabric, which is not something I like. I will be returning this bra.

I am still on my journey to find the correct size for myself. I bought this bra together with Freya Fancies Plunge Bra on size 36G.
When I first tried them I thought they were a perfect fit until I learned to "scoop and swoop". After that I noticed that the center does not lie flat against my chest so the cups are a bit too small. However there is no spilling in the cups (or if there is, very minor so I can't really see it. Still learning here!). It feels comfortable to wear though as I have been using the wrong size for years so I don't ... know yet how properly fitting bra looks and feels. Getting there eventually! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I love how the bra looks and as soon as I know my correct size, I do want to buy this one on proper size, maybe even in couple different colours as well.

edit. after proper scooping and swooping I noticed that while the bra still feels good even though little small in the cup, I get the horrible upside down 7 shape. Ouch.. Does not look pretty! But I would think it goes away with bigegr cup size as I have Flirtelle bra which is CK's sister brand and I have no upside down 7 with that (it's 36GG, so one cup size bigger and it fits and looks good).

Curvy Kate just doesn't suit my bust shape at all ;(
I had gaping at the top of the cups, not something I experience very often and just didn't feel lifted or supported by it.. also there was no side support so although it gave a rounded shape it was also east west.
I think this brand is better for firmer fot spherical boobs.. mine are pretty full and even but splayed - somehow I just couldn't fill these cups even in smaller size, my heavy boobs need something a lot more supportive than this.

The straps are a bit wide, but I'm beginning to suspect I have narrow shoulders, since I'm having this problem with literally every bra I'm trying. I love love love how wide the wires are! That's such a common complaint with CK but I'm finding it super comfortable and it makes me feel really supported and the ladies actually stay in place all day. It's comfy and breathable and delightfully vibrant. Overall it's a fantastic bra. My only complaint is that the pink ribbon is a tiny bit loose so it tends to bunch ever so slightly.

Edit: Six months in and the underwire popped out and tried to stab me in the heart. I am somewhat unimpressed.

I bought this bra thinking it had a 34 band, and the band felt rather loose right away. I now altered the band and removed a good 2 inches (so it's now a 34 GG), but it is still quite large, both in band and cup. I think a 32 band would be much better, so I think a 32G or GG might be the right size for me.

Over all, the bra is very comfortable and soft (might have something to do with the fact that it is too large though), but it is not very supportive in this size. The lace on top is quite stretchy, and the whole thing is a bit too flimsy for my liking. It does give me a nice, somewhat rounded, natural shape, but does not provide a ton of lift. As this is one of the first bras I bought that is not waaay to small, it is a decent first try, but probably not a bra I would buy again.

I got this bra on a holiday in Greece, as this brand is not available in stores in my country. I did not look at the size myself but let the shop lady pick the bras for me. Stupid move, as she gave me one that was clearly to wide in the band and due to the language barrier I did not get the message of the band across.

But despite the fact that the band was too large, I loved this bra from the start! It's very comfortable, and the cup is a very good fit for me. My boobs are even (not full on top or bottom), ... wide set, and wide rooted. It is one of the first bras I ever tried that gave me a nice round shape (as opposed to sad, sad tea bags or weird pointy shape I have been seeing so often) and no quad boob at all.

I must say that now that I am a bit further in my bra quest, I think the cups are a size too large, and the band is definitely one (or even two) sizes too large. I have taken in the band in about 2 inches and that is a large improvement, but the band still rides up a bit in the back. On the whole, I think the band is a bit flimsy and slightly too stretchy for my liking.

I think that this would be a perfect fit, had I gotten it in my proper size, although the quality is not quite sturdy enough.

TERRIBLE!! made my boobs look weirdly lumpy. i think due to the seams running through the bra it was tighter in some panels than others and was just weird. i thought curvykate bras were good ones but this being the first that i tried, I'm not sure if i i will try more or not. the wire was also poking into my side which was irratating. hoping to return this bra and most likely not buy any more curvy kate bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Gotta say the Desire is the absolute worst Curvy Kate bra there is. I wouldn't let it put you off them as a brand - perhaps check out more reviews before ordering next time, as Desire seems to be pretty awful on everyone. Smoothie is a much better t-shirt bra, one of the best I've ever tried.

    • I have to agree. I tried this one recently because brastop had it for 10.95. i can say it doesn't compare to anything else CK makes! it gave me all types of weird lumps and bumps too. Their Curvy Kate Roxie Padded Plunge Bra (SG2311) is a MUCH better example of what they do as a brand and a great plunge if you're looking for one!!

    • ...the Desire is the only CK that fits me, lol :/
