This bra fits my average projection, now that I know what I'm doing. The cups have a perfect amount of lining and they give me a nice shape. The cups do give me quad boob, but, I think it's either that, or have a bra that's too big I've really been struggling finding a small bra with a decent amount of projection and this one comes pretty close, but again, I don't think I'll find a bra that fits me perfectly. The band is true to a 32. I would say that the cups might run up to a cup size small.
I got the lime green and pink colorway with the light pink flamingos. It's cute, but I"m not the one to shy away from bright colors.
I'm very happy with the fit, which is like a balconnet style. The material has enough structure and padding to give the rounded shape that I prefer. Comfortable, soft, and stretchy band.
EDIT: After wearing a bit more, I do notice that the wires press on my sternum occasionally.
Have you tried Polish bras at all? Your reviews suggest you're quite projected for your size range. You may have luck with Comexim or Ewa Michalak - believe EM's wires are a bit wider than Comexims. Generally projected boobs have a narrower root, are you sure your roots wide?
I'm dying to try a Comexin or Ewa...I'm even looking at some Gossard bras. Unfortunately, I have no specialty bra stores in my state and these bras are too expensive to order just to see if they fit :(. I will continue to scour the internet! :)
Checked the listings here? Check out the subreddit /braswap too
Comexim or EM bras usually re sell pretty quickly around here too, if you did order from them & it didn't work.
This bra is too shallow for my average projection, but just barely .The wires are also not wide enough for me. The band was also pretty big, which I think is unusual. This is for the black colorway.
Band fit pretty good, runs true to size. Definitely a cute bra. I think I need more top fullness, I just can't seem to fill the lace at the top and if I went down a size I would be quadding. Seems like a pattern for me though. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Shape was nice, not too projected.
I'm neither FoT nor FoB, so Nyla is not a perfect fit on me - the lower part of the cup fits well, but the top lace part wrinkles and gapes. The wrinkles are not visible under a shirt - but I have enough bras that fit me better, so I'm not keeping this one.
The band is neither super stretchy nor as tight as most unpadded Cleos. It appears true to size to me, so a 32 is too loose for my 29" (loosely measured) ribcage.
Another nice Cleo unpadded bra. Excellent lift and projection. Perkiness https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> These generally work in 30E or 32DD for me.
The raspberry version of this bra is MUCH stretchier than all previous colorways.
For comparison: My 32DD purple Marcie stretches to ~30 inches (76cm), the 32DD raspberry color stretches to >32 inches (83cm).
You might want to consider this when ordering a raspberry colored Marcie. While 'sister size up for comfort' seemed to apply for all Marcies before, it's a good idea to keep your regular band size in this one.
(Cups, shape etc. appear to be true to size and similar to the old versions.)
I was told the band was very firm, so I ordered a size up and immediately returned it. I have it in a 32HH (I'm normally a 32J) and I've had it for a few months and already have to wear it on its tightest hooks. I'm waffling between buying a rixie clip for it and just getting rid of it. I've been very unhappy with the quality and this was my first Marcie
dbmamaz Are you talking about the raspberry colored version? Like I said, my review is only and specifically for that color and doesn't apply to the colors before.
Yes, I also have the raspberry. I've owned it for just a few months, as I said. Like
The cups are really narrow around the outer edges, they take a weird diagonal to the armpit and they cut my tissue even though I don't have particularly wide roots. I love the bra itself and the rest of the cup I wish it didn't dig into my tissue!
This bra has a strong push-up-effect. It's good to wear with clothes you need to show an excellent decolleté.
I don't know wheter it has this effect because of the size (cup size seems quite small for me, I use 32E in the Cleo Lucy) or be cause of the style.
The bra is very comfortable, but it gives support not in the upper part of the breast, so if I had a really big cupsize, I think I would not wear it, because it gives the strange feeling, the boobs could fall out of the cups, e.g. when I run. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":o" />/
This won't happen, perhaps it only feels like that, because I am used to bras, that do not push up the boobs.
This bra is comfortable. I sized up according to actual measurements, however, I should have kept my actual size due to the stretchiness of the band. Band is very very stretchy, straps are also very very stretchy. Cup height in this Neve is 5.5" and is the tallest I feel comfortable wearing (I'm 5'2"). I'm reordering this in a 30DD because I love the print.
I read that the Meg is typically a difficult fit, but for less than £15 including postage, I thought that it would be worth getting even if the fit wasn't perfect - I'm just that desperate to get something to replace my Panache Jasmine and Envy that have suddenly turned against me! A difficult fit it may be, but it's the right fit for me. The underwire marks show that it's precisely the right width, and there's no wrinkling or gapping. I'm a little surprised to find that this 32 band only stretches to 29.5", but that's pretty much what I want ...so that's fine with me. As for its appearance, I love the bird pattern, and there's a very sweet bird charm sewn onto the centre gore where there's usually a bow.
Edit: having worn this bra several times, including for one very long day (I ended up unexpectedly walking the best part of 10 miles while wearing it) during which it was very comfortable indeed, the centre gore has now decided to attack me in exactly the same way as my 30F - Panache » Andorra Full Cup (5675) did! It's disappointing that it didn't last very long, but I guess I did put it through quite a bit of abuse. Read more 112 more words
I liked the Lily so much in the candy pink colour that I just had to pick up last season's colour as well. I'm a total sucker for bird prints (so much so that I have the Deco Flamingo even though it doesn't fit me at all) so I don't quite understand why I didn't try this one when it first came out.
The fit is very good, more like the 30E - Cleo » Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) pink colour in band stretchiness than the 32DD of that colour. The navy blue and bright orangey/pink is a curious colour combination, but it's nice and bright and cheerful!
This review is for the Bravissimo exclusive candy pink colour.
Until about six months ago, Cleo was my favourite bra brand, but then they seemed to stop working for me, as my 'normal' size of 32DD was too big in the band and too small in the cup in most of their bras that I tried. I sized down to a 30F and that worked for the Marcie, but not for anything else, which I have been very annoyed about because I absolutely adore the bright colours and prints. I couldn't resist the candy pink colour, though, so I decided to give Cleo another chance, and apart from the ...band being too big it actually fits!
The band feels like it's on the stretchy side when compared with how tight Cleo's bands used to be - I can stretch it to 31.5" - but it's not as loose as a Freya 32". It feels OK, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be supportive enough if I move around a bit more. The cups are relatively narrow and deep, and the problem I've had with some other Cleo's with the top part of the cup wrinkling and refusing to lie flat is not present on this bra, which I think is due to the whole cup being made of the same fabric. Material is very soft and comfortable. Unfortunately the cups were too narrow to feel comfortable. Also the band felt big even though it was comfortable. I think the material makes it easy to ride up your back.
I spotted this one in turquoise on Ebay, and because I love the colour so much, I just had to get it. Cleo Marcie (6831) is my favourite bra at the moment and the Lucy sounded similar enough to me that I figured it was worth taking the chance on my usual Cleo size of 32DD. However... when it turned up, I found that the band was too big. Not just a little bit too big, but loose-on-the-tightest-hooks-right-away big. The cups fitted perfectly, though, so the next time I spot a Lucy for a good price on Ebay, I'll be giving it another go in 30E or even 28F.
I am too close-set for the gore and too wide for the wires, yet fill out the cups better than with most other bras since it has plenty of bottom projection. I opted to try modifying a 30E since it fits similarly, but has *slightly* more close-set straps, and the band size is technically better for my frame.
I get some funny fit issues in this bra: depending on how I adjust myself, I either fill out the bottom of the cups and the tops wrinkle, or I fill out the top and the bottoms wrinkle. I wish it fit better as I'm in love with this beautiful red lace! The band and cups are created out of a very sturdy fabric, and the lace is an embroidered mesh. The cut does seem similar to the Cleo Marcie (6831), and while that bra works well for me, I think the fabric of this bra makes it behave differently on my body.
remember, the measurements get averaged (as long as other ppl measured that same size)
