This band runs snug! I wonder if I got a mislabeled bra, as most Cleo's are not this tight. Anyway, I think Cleo's finally got itself a more shallow-friendly plunge bra. The shape it gave me reminded me of the Freya Deco (4234) (cleavage!). The coral is a lovely shade, and there's a sweet double bow at the center gore.
This bra looks beautiful under shirts. I like that the straps are thin, so I can wear it under a tank top without looking like I am wearing a "saddle" bra. I like it more than most molded bras because it doesn't add a lot of bulkiness. Its very comfortable as well. I have read some reviews saying they felt like they would fall out the middle but I do NOT have that issue. Again, beautiful shape without having to wear additional layers to hide any bumps or lines.
What a strangely shaped little bra. The band is definitely tight for a 30 - for once it's a 30 band I ordered based on reviews saying it runs tight and I don't regret it - it most definitely runs very tight. I personally like having tight bands, and I do feel this is material that will stretch fairly easily. The other Cleos I've tried - Juna and Jude - were not this tight in the band, I needed 28 bands in those.
PROS: Coral color is pretty and the little bow detail on the gore is cute. Material is very soft, cups are ...molded but not overly stiff. Straps are fully adjustable.
CONS: The shape... is so weird... something about the top of the cups doesn't agree with me. It gaps on both sides but it's like they are too tall rather than too big. I feel like this bra is asking for fullness on top that I just don't have, and I'd do better with shorter cups. I could not have gone down a cup size though. If I really scoop & swoop I fill out the top briefly, but my boobs settle back down into the cups and the gapping returns. Also, there's a small bit of empty space down the inside edges of the cups, where it's like the bra material floats away from my breast. I believe I've stumbled upon a bra that has cups set too close together for my boobs. The wires are hella wide, and it's insanely shallow. Like, I had an inch of wrinkling in the bottoms of these cups.
I'd highly recommend this as THE t-shirt bra to try for those with wide roots, a shallow shape, even or FOT, and close set boobs. I can see why it's called the anti-Deco. Read more 207 more words
I think the Neve bands run tight. I managed to fit into a 30G, but the cup was a bit big and the band was so snug it seemed ridiculous (although I could fit it on me). I opted for the 32F and am happy with my choice. This bra gives GREAT cleavage and a smooth appearance under thin tees. I would agree with another review that says the cleavage given is similar to the Freya Deco's, but because the fabric is a touch thinner, it doesn't stick away from the chest.
I own the Peach Neve and I love the color choice. The little bow and charm are a nice touch! It's an adorable and functional bra.
I'm cautiously going to proclaim this size a success! It gives me a much better look under clothes than the size 30D did -- so it appears that my theory about the cup depth was correct (see my review here: 30D - Cleo » Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196) ). I definitely feel, based on personal experience, that this is the bra for ladies who cannot wear the Freya Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) due to shape incompatibility.
I really like the extra coverage of this at the top too. After having kids it just feels better to keep everything held up and in, haha... even when you have a smaller chest like I do! Definitely recommend this bra but you have to be extra careful about the sizing. Remember to check the Bratabase measurements!!
Pros: Plush and comfortable material Cups conform to the tops of my breasts well. No gaping, unlike the Deco or many other popular plunges
Neutral: The band of the coral version is VERY firm; I almost couldn't wear it at first. Thankfully, it also stretched within the first week of wear. It's still a pretty firm 28. The black version is not quite as firm, though! The cups are wide and shallow, so you might consider going up a cup size.
Cons: The straps are typical Cleo, too wide-set and can irritate my armpits The cups are a little too tall
With good scooping & scooping, I can get some pretty impressive cleavage with this bra. My bigger left side quads a little, but a 28F would probably be too tall for my frame and in this case I'd rather have the cleavage
FINALLY a bra that actually fits me and doesn't give me a quad boob! I really love this bra, particularly because it brings my girls together and creates some cleavage as I have wide set boobs that never meet! It stays in place the whole day and doesn't move about! However, I still have the feeling of 'Oh, I'm wearing a bra!'. This is because the band is very very short and I'm only able to wear it on the last hook (I know its supposed to be like that but it's pretty uncomfortable). Due to the tight band, my back fat sticks out when I wear this bra sadly so I don't actually reach for it very often. The top of the bra shows through my t-shirts which is a boo because the whole world can see my bra no matter how much breast tissue I stuff into the cups to reduce the outline of the bra... Otherwise, it's great a GREAT bra and I recommend this to ladies with larger girls like me!
Almost a perfect fit! My breasts have moderate projection, more or less even fullness, and slightly wide roots. If I completely scoop and swoop, I have a slight quad-boob, but my tissue is soft so I can adjust to fix the problem. I think a 30FF would be a better fit, but I'm still quite happy with this bra. I also think the projection is a little shallow for me, but in a t-shirt bra I'm willing to compromise.
Neve is not a Cleo Jude (5846). Let's start with that. I have no way to remember exactly why Jude didn't fit me to have a comparison to be made, but it made me a guadboob and there was too much empty in the bottom even that I am a bottom-heavy. Neve comes somewhere in the middle of that and a more basic t-shirt bra.
Cups were wide yet really comfortable for my shallowness. Cups weren't too high in the armpit, and the strap position is quite wide (which is what I like, but many might not). Smooth, soft and light. The band could be even more narrow, but this is already nice and tight. Simple and effective. Oh, an the coral just got me.
This bra is brilliant for my shallow, wide rooted breasts and is one of only a few bras that can give me a decent cleavage and has a low enough gore to go under any low cut tops/dresses. It's sits really well and encloses me completely and I feel supported and does give a good rounded smooth shape under clothes but it is still a shallow shape. Therefore, I usually wear it with fairly low plunging necklines but would sometimes rather wear my Bravissimo Satine with a medium shallow plunge or my Cleo Maddie for a low but rounded/square neckline for a little more of a projected shape as I am already pretty shallow, but is till looks good under a tight fitting top of any neckline.
