I have quite close-set breasts with only one finger space in between them, and have never had a bra tack on me until this one. Unfortunately, as I am quite petite (5'1"/155 cm) it digs in ever so slightly on my sternum, although I still need to confirm whether this is an issue with the shape or the band size. The cup fits perfectly, with the wire perfectly hugging my IMF and the cup itself being filled in all the right places by my breast, but the lace on top gaps slightly, even more so when moving around. I will be ordering a 30E and 32DD and E ...to see if these fit better. Some further information about my breast size and shape. My 5 measurements according to the calculator from r/abrathatfits are ~28.75 snug underbust, 26.25 tight, 35 standing bust, 36 leaning bust, and 34.25 lying bust. I am fairly projected, my shape is evenly full, and I believe I have average roots. In terms of appearance, this is a really cute bra. It might be a bit flashy for some, but after years of granny bras, I welcome the loud pattern. It's a really pretty turquoise blue with a floral print and magenta lace/mesh trim on top, and is perfect for people who've always wanted those cutesy polka dot and floral bras when walking past the bra section at stores but were disappointed when they only went up to a D cup.
Cheerful, vibrant print - a bit 'loud' and girly perhaps, but I like it.
As my Cleo Maya (sister cut) was kind of small in a 30GG, I decided to try this in 30H (found it for £9 on Ebay). Quite a couple of issues with this fit though.
Firstly, the straps are WAY too wide set. This is practically always an issue for me, but Nyla is a big offender. Next, the cups are too closed on top. They cut into my breast tissue, while the depth is fine. So that's a shape mismatch (a bigger size would probably be too deep). Also, there's wrinkling in the bottom of the cups ...- not sure if this is a projection issue, or connected with the shape mismatch / too closed cups forcing the bra downwards?
The wide set straps and too-closed cups seem worse than in 30GG Maya, which was in fact a better fit. Because this was cheap and I do love the print, this might end up being an alterations experiment..
In unlined bras it seems harder to lower / open up the cup height, something I've been wanting to try. Some tugging and pulling on Nyla seems to show that attaching the pink part to the straps (while also moving the straps inward) could greatly improve the fit of this bra.
I'll update when I ever have time to try this out 😉 Read more 122 more words
This bra is adorable and the fit is almost perfect! Unlike all of the other bras I've tried on in my search for my first "bra that fits," the material where the cup meets the strap DOESN'T dig into my armpit flesh! The top of the cups flares out a smidgen on my breasts, but the fit is so close I might just keep it anyway.
Cleos that fit: 30E Marcie, 30E Lily, 28F/30E Blake
Cleos that didn't fit: 30F Melissa, 28F Bella, 30E Pixie (all slightly too FoT)
I've tried Cleos that I didn't quite have enough top fullness for, but this bra is in a league of its own. I am so far from being able to fill the tops of these cups, while the listed Cleos I tried just had small gaping/were very close to fitting. So this bra needs top fullness! I also think it is a bit more shallow than Marcie and Lily. The wire width is pretty average. The band is a looser fitting one, but not as bad as some modern ones.
A lot of people call this bra ugly, but I really like some of the small details: the bow with three ribbon colors, the checkered stitching on the top part of the cup. It's fun and IMO not much worse than the usual gaudy colorful Cleo designs.
Bought this bra in two sizes and The one size that fit (32G) fits wonderfully! Narrow gore and wires. There is a surprising amount of projection in this bra! gives a very lifted round upfront shape. brand new with tags. Will be adding pictures and listing this bra
Wanted to love this bra, and it's so close, but not quite. My full-on-bottom breasts don't fill out the top of the cups enough, and the material where the straps meet the cups cuts into my armpits a little.
Like my Cleo Pixie, this bra fits me almost perfectly. It is just slightly less projected than my Pixie, but this has very minimal effect on the look and shape of my breasts when I wear it. I only notice a slight quad-boob effect right around my time of the month, when everything feels a little tighter!
I have quite projected breasts for my 30F shape, and this bra does a nice job of encapsulating all my breast tissue and projecting it forward. I would consider myself an even/FOB shape (and rate myself a 2/5 on the /r/abrathatfits fit guide over on Reddit). The straps never slip, the back never rides up too high or too low, and I still have room to adjust both the straps and the hooks as the bra gets older.
It is another sturdy excellent make from Cleo in my opinion!
It's the same cut as Marcie/Melissa etc., but has the same issue as Millie, Ellis and some others, which is that the top mesh part of the cup is larger and looser than the bottom part, making my soft tissue pool up and out, creating an in-cup quadboob. I think firmer breasts would do better in this style because of this.
Anyway, the rest of the bra is great. The band is snug, wires are narrow, fits great, and the shape is round like most Cleos. Cleo balconettes are my solid rock to lean my boobs on when the bra winds are harsh and unkind. Admittedly, the wires and ...gore are a little too wide for my very narrow boobs, but it's not something I notice much, and it brings me no discomfort, even after a full day's wear.
The upper cup is a vivid pink chequered mesh, the bottom cup has a floral pattern in yellow, pink and teal on a blueish purple base, a pattern which continues on the front of the band. The shoulder straps and back of the band are a deep turquoise. I quite like the palette, but as so often I wanted the colours to be just a little bit different, maybe a warmer purple and a greener turquoise? It is pretty green, greener than most "green" "jade" or "emerald" bras (pfffft! They can never satisfy my need for green. I scoff at their feeble attempts)
Despite the boob pooling issue, it's a keeper. It's still cute and comfy and I like it enough to look past its minor failings. I can always adjust my boobs once every couple of hours, no big deal. I've encountered much, much worse in the bra world. Read more 178 more words
This bra isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn close. Like the other @Cleo bras I own, it has wires that are perhaps a little too wide for me, and the wires themselves are fairly stiff. The bra fits relatively well but the top edges feature non-stretchy lace, and I don't *quite* fill out the lace all the way. Still, I'd rather have this be the situation than have stiff lace and quad-boobing. I do love how fun the colors are!
