I got this bra whilst trying to discover my true size it is clearly far too small and unwearable. I have the bright pink leopard print version with purple straps.

The Good: The insides of the cups are nice and soft; The straps have little hoopy lace details at the sides which should stop the slides moving around; The bra looks like it would give me a nice rounded shape if it fit properly; The underwires feel nice and sturdy and don't stretch much: .

The Bad: I would have to fasten the bra on the second hook straight away, the band feels loose and not at all supportive, ... I can only imagine that this would be even worse with a cup size that was big enough for me. I would definitely have to size down to a 28 in the back for a proper fit; Back Sausages!! Regardless of the size I can see that the thin single layer of stretchy fabric between the two strips of elastic on the back and wing would be no match for my modest back fat and so would make me look like I have a couple of sausages strapped to my back.

This bra is far too small for me but is still surprisingly comfortable, if it weren't for the flimsy nature of the back I would certainly consider getting it in my size.

This bra is better for full on top shapes. I desperately wanted it to fit my shape, but, unfortunately, I'm too full on bottom for this. The sides are a typical Cleo height, which I think isn't quite high enough for my preferences. It is pretty seamless under clothes, and gives good support for being non-moulded.

Weird. This bra seems to run much deeper in the cup than its sisters. I own the Ellis, Bella and Melissa in a 30E. There is a little loose fabric at the top of the cup in these styles, but nothing to affect the fit. With the Millie the lace gaped so badly that it affected the shape (I think because the lace forms a greater proportion of the cup than in the other styles). And it gave me pointy boobs! What Cleo bra does that?!! It was as much of a disaster as the Marcie (albeit in very different ways).

It's a shame, because I like the styling and the lower cut of the lace. But it's in the mail back to ASOS.

I got this bra from another Bratabase member.
It is very pretty yellow bra with no padding.

It doesn´t fit perfectly. The wires are wide enough for me and they are very comfortable but the band is too big and the cups are slightly too small. There is very small quadboob effect. The fit is decent though, if I use the tightest hooks.

I know 28 band would be better, but I wonder which cup it should be then. If I go see others´ Lucy bras Bratabase says that 28F would be too big in the cups for me! How can it be, if 30E is slightly too small?? I ... tried to judge based on measured cup depths, how they vary between 28 band and 30 band. I do not get it...
Anyway, cups are the right shape in this bra for me. I will keep it for it is so pretty, and try to live with these few issues https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

EDIT. I altered the band so that it doesn´t stretch so much, and now it´s good. I also think after wearing the bra that the cups are just fine https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

EDIT2. I realise now that the cups are not the right shape for me, after all. They cut in and produce slight quadboob but if they were bigger, I think there would be gaping where my nipples are.

EDIT3. Boobs gone bigger (!!), cups now definitely too small.

    • Bratabase isn't always right with its suggestions.
I recently bought the yellow Lucy in 28F. If I got more time, in some days maybe, I will submit some pictures :) My mum got it in 30E, which cuts into my breasts slightly... Also, depending on my cycle, I sometimes fit into the 28FF and the again in the 28F. It's all not that easy.

      Great it fits you now!

    • 1

28 F Lucy is more generous in the cups than the 30E. If the 30E is a little small in the cups and a little big in the band, then a 28F would be better. Like it is for me. :)

    • ^
That sounds odd! Do you know if it is so for all the colour variations?
Anyway, I won´t be trying Lucy again, I think the shape is not good for me.

    • I will be measuring mine and putting the colors in my reviews. Right now I am doing the 2 30E Lucy bras. There is definitely a difference.

    I'm so happy to finally have a George! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
I got it used from Bratabase, so thanks, Bratabase https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
It fits me perfectly. I had to look around, in the end I tried 30D, 30DD and 28F in various George colors, and I ended up needing a 30E. It's amazingly comfortable, I wear it and don't even notice it at all. It makes the shape that I like best and I also just plainly like the color (even though I usually don't wear yellow...) and the pattern.
This will probably become my favorite bra! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This bra is super cute, but unfortunately it's too small for me! It was the first bra I bought after realizing I'd been incorrectly fitted using the +4 method for years, so it was a close estimate, off by one cup size. Unfortunately, I couldn't return it or exchange for a different size because I ripped it a little on accident. Anyway, here's what I think about it.

-The print is SUPER CUTE! Before my current bra fitting knowledge, the only colors I ever found in my [wrong 32DD] size [in America] were nude, white, and maybe black or ugly light greyish pink if I was lucky. I was ... thrilled that the Ellie had such a cute, colorful, and most important to me, youthful print.

-The center gore comes up too high for my shape. Although this particular bra was the wrong size, I still suspect the correct size wouldn't help much with this. My boobs are very close together, to the point of there being literally no space at all between them, so the high center gore gave me some bruising (and I doubt that level of irritation would improve by going up a cup size).

-The overall shape is great. It's nice and rounded, with a moderate amount of lift (as in lifting the boobs off the ribcage!). It's also very front-facing, none of the dreaded east-west effect happening.

I would probably try buying this bra again just for the shape and print if it wasn't for the high center gore. I wish I could buy it, but I just don't see it being comfortable for the middle of my chest. I wouldn't recommend this bra for close-together boobs, but I would recommend it for full-on-top because the top hardly cut in at all despite it being a cup size too small for my full-on-top boobs.

I have short roots, moderate projection, and semi narrow roots, and this bra worked for me! I was in need of a strapless bra for a dress with a very deep V neck, and most strapless bras have gores that would show. This one did the trick! I also liked the Deco strapless and it fit similarly, however this one was my final choice due to the plunging gore that the Deco lacked. This bra didn't budge an inch the day I wore it and I would absolutely recommend it.

    Fits

First of all, I really like the design on this model! I do love most of my bras but this is one I've come to really like over time. I have 1 30E and 1 30F, for low tide and high tide, so I can wear the Erin regardless of my breast size. The 30F is really comfortable, when fastened on the middle hook the band always stays in place and is comfortable throughout the day. The band is nice and snug and even though I received this bra used it's in excellent condition.

As for design it's similar to the Cleo Lily and the Marcie in ... cup shape, but the cup is not as tall as the newer Marcie. It resembles the Lily more closely with the pink diagonal band across the cups and the ruffled edge. The Lily was my first ever fitting bra and while it is too small for me now, the Erin fills its place just as well. The cloudy dark blue actually goes well with the hot pink straps and accents, and the little white blotches with pink and green centers make for some decent flowers. I usually prefer my bras to have a more "sophisticated" or eye catching pattern, but this is cute and definitely not bad. I really like the little blue charm in the gore, gore charms are probably my favorite thing!

Structure wise this is a fairly standard 3-part balconette from Panache with underwires, 3 rows of 2 hooks and fully adjustable straps. The fabric on the inside of the cups is the same cloudy dark blue as the outside, but lacks the flower patterns. The fabric continues up for about 13 cm until the top cup seam that stitches the outer cup fabric together with the inner fabric. 5 mm from that seam, the stitching for the pink diagonal band has been done. Above that is the cup edge with the ruffles. Ruffles and lace seem to be sort of a trademark for the Cleo styles of bras, and as far as I've gathered this is because Cleo is marketed towards younger women.

This bra is overall a really good fit. The gore is on the wider side for me so it doesn't tack, but this doesn't make any sort of significant impact on the fit. The ruffles in the cup edge don't actually really touch my breasts unless I push the gore in so it tacks, but ruffles always point outwards anyway.

    Hasn't set fit

Okay, so the bra itself is really cute. I like the print (blue with polka dots), although the blue is a more dusty colour in real life. The band is true to size and fits well on me. I was worried the cups would be too narrow but they fit just right. The problem for me is the cups--I've got a lot of gaping on my smaller breast. The bigger one just fills it out but has a tiny bit of gaping still. Using cookies to fill out both cups helps, but there's still gaping on my smaller side. I don't think it's an ideal bra for my shape (shallow, wide) and will work better on those who are slightly more projected. For me, the bra itself is still really comfortable, aside from the gore. It tacks but digs in a little. I originally wanted this bra for a cakes-on-a-plate look but I don't think it does it really well for me. Still a nice bra for those who have the shape for it!

This one was close to fitting me! The band is a bit stretchy for my preference but for someone who wants a slightly looser 30 band I bet it'd be spot on. The wires are nice and narrow but don't go up very far into the armpit, so this might suit someone with a shorter breast root or who usually has issues with wires poking.

I've become a big fan of Mimi now that I have more upper fullness and can fill out this style properly, so I decided to pick up as many of these as I could. Since I found the cups of the 30DD to be a little small, I picked up a 30E as I could not find a 28F.

Since the 30 band is a little big for me and this style doesn't have the firmest band, the band is definitely much looser on me in the bigger cup size and rides up a bit. The longer wires are great and feel better than the smaller wires ... of the 28E/30DD, but unfortunately since I can't fill out the cups properly on both sides, the straps end up being too wide-set on my small frame. On my larger side, the cup is only about a half size too large, with a little bit of gapping at the top when I move due to the taller and slightly deeper cups, but it is definitely a full size too large on my smaller side.

It seems that the ideal size for me in this style would be somewhere between a 28E and a 28F. Alas, 3HC styles look terrible if you go larger and can't fully fill out the cup, so for now I'll be sticking with 28E/30DD.

This bra works okay for me, but the band is quite stretchy. I tried this on during my first round of trying to find ABTF in a 28E and it felt way too tight everywhere. I returned for a 30E. A 28F would have been better. The wires are little bit wide for me and I get a hint of quadding on certain days. The cups are thicker foam than I expected, but still flexible. The vertical seam is visible under tight or drapey shirts, but that doesn't bother me. One of the quirks of this bra is that the lace doesn't lie flat if it the cups fit well, but does if the cups are too small. I like that the straps are enclosed in soft fabric and don't irritate my armpits.

This is definitely a cute Cleo style bra. It didn't fit me as well as my other Cleo bras, though, as the gore floats and the cups seem a little small. The band rides up too.

The purple/orange and white polka dots is definitely an attractive design. It's got the traditional ruffles lines of the older Cleo models. The cups don't have quite enough space for me and since the gore doesn't tack it's not a great fit. Overall the bra is very cute and has a similar shape and function to fex the Cleo Lily, but I'm wondering if it's lacking some immediate cup depth or even more fabric to contain my center fullness.
