I really had high hopes for this bra, considering I have had good luck with the cleo Maddie, and this was supposed to be an updated version. The cups are really small on this and much more enclosed than the Maddie. I'm not sure if a cup size up would fix this problem or if it's just the wrong cut for me. It did not feel similar to the Maddie, other than they are both molded balconet bras, but they are cut very differently to me.
This bra is in my normal rotation, but only until I can get enough other bras to finally burn it.
The Good: 1) The foam covers the nip without being too thick, making it a good T-shirt bra. 2) I love the stripe. Invisible through thin white tees but adds cuteness to what could otherwise have been a boring-looking bra.
The Bad: 1) The straps are really wide-set. I mean, I have broader shoulders than most of my man-friends and I think they're wide-set. 2) As a result I get a bit of strap-gap. 3) The wires are really too wide for me. They were perfect when I bought it ...six months ago, but I've since had a bit of tissue migration.
The Ugly: 1) The band stretched out ridiculously fast. 2) The wire channels started to fray at the gore within three months. 3) I get quad boob in the middle but gaps at the outside, which I think is because it doesn't match my shape at all. As a result I'm always having to adjust the damn thing. 4) The gore rides up onto my bigger side and sits on the breast tissue.
All in all, this bra used to be ok for me, but my shape has changed and it's stretched and now I hate the damn thing. Read more 110 more words
The best fitting bra I've tried so far. My only complaint is that the underwires poke into my armpits a little, and the edges of the cup sit very close to my armpit, so the cup comes forward every time I move my arms. However I have very narrow shoulders, so this is a frequent problem I have.
I've recently loss some weight that's affected how all of my bras fit - that is to say, they don't. I bought this from another bratabase user and it fits! At least as well as I expected it too. I like the appearance and the quality - standard Cleo insides and materials. The bra gives a nice rounded uplifted shape, and is not visible under the t-shirt I tried it with. The band could have been a little tighter (it rides up on the loosest hook) and is definitely looser than the 30-bands on the Marice and Riley that I have, but not as loose as the Juna's. ...The wires sit right on my IMF and as long as I stand up straight and scoop&swoop like I'm supposed to it's a perfect fit. Anything else, however...and I've got some gaping on the outer upper corners (which you can't see through a shirt, so that's good) and/or a little quadding near the gore on my bigger breast. I am still getting to know these new boobs, and I'm having trouble filling out cups in general, so it's hard for me to judge/compare the cup size. My gut feeling is that the cup is smaller than on the Juna 30E (gaping much less severe on the Lexi) but if it's not (I haven't checked the numbers) at least the shape is infinitely better for me, so that's a win. Definitely keeping this one! Read more 133 more words
