Anyone having the same problem as me after TLL changed her layout? I can't scroll down smoothly, and the cursor won't turn into a pointy hand at the post title, making me can't click at the link sometimes! And it also loads a lot slower? Is just me and my shitty connectionnnnnn? I love the old layout.

It is not your connection, the new layout is ~very~ slow to load, mostly because it has lots of stuff to download and those front page image previews are not optimized, each of those images is 2 or 3MB each! they should be thumbnails but they are full fledged pictures straight out from the camera almost!
The full page download is 25MB and on a slowish connection where I'm at it took 4m to get all that data.
Having such big images resized by the browser will definitely hit performance, and the scroll issues you're having are mostly a hardware issue, but it happens because the images are so huge :S
The internal pages are much better though.
Yeah, I can't look at it at home with my slow computer. We should probably let her know.

My parcel of bras arrived from alisa today- yay! Aside from the 28J - Cleo » Bonnie (6191) which I mostly picked up as an off chance as I was paying for postage anyway, I was at least a little hopeful of getting the other two bras to fit.
I think I'll put up a fit ... request later when I get some photos. I don't think that my breasts are so large that I should settle and quad out of a 32K bra, even if it is a Curvy Kate one. Am I measuring fit wrong by trying to avoid cutting in on top? I just don't even know any more. Am I better off going for good wire width and just not scooping properly? I'm puzzled and intensely frustrated. I just feel like there's no bras out there at the moment which will fit me at all, even ignoring the band size issue.

Oh, they already arrived :))) That's great, so it did take like 2 weeks, which is fast condsidering they told me at my post office that it can take up to 1 month to your country!
Anyway - Gia does quadboob on you? :O
Oh I'm curious to see your pictures... I had really hoped at least Gia or Jasmine would work for you :/
Is the Jasmine a bit better than the others at least? Can you "save" one of them with alternations?
I'm at the same point (ot let's say I'm thinking about this since a while): that I don't do the extensive swoop and scoop anymore (just a super light version to arrange boobs in cups), because I will always quadboob out of bras in my "calculator" size. If I size up too much, I get no support from the bra anymore. Like it happened on my 36J - Cleo » Marcie (6831). I'm frustrated too and really don't know if I just should buy now bras in a "slightly" small size and put up with minor quadboob...are there no other options for us? *sends hugs*
I was pretty surprised actually that the parcel arrived already. I was expecting to wait a few more weeks, but it was nice to get something fun in the post.
While Gia quads on me, I actually think it's too big everywhere else. It's kind of confusing. I'm much better at analysing other people's fit issues than my own. I think I get too emotionally involved in my own bra fit.
It pretty much fit how I expected it to fit. CK actually gives me an okay shape, but it's not that supportive without me pretty much pulling my arms off by tightening up the straps.
I really don't know what's going on with Jasmine, and whether the 30K would be better, or just bad in a different way.
I'll get some help taking photos so you guys can have a look. Some extra pairs of eyes can be useful I think.
*sends hugs to you*
I have probably unrealistically high hopes for the Edwards & Millers Launch, as the name behind the brand wears a 28K, so should hopefully be scaling bras from somewhere close to my size.

Might wait a bit. I've had people contact me after months. Or put it up on ebay. Or try a trade. I finally ended up giving bras away.

Does anyone get shoulder blade pain, uppper back pain, chest pain that feels like it goes into the front of the upper arm, feeling of numb arms? tired arms.

I get all that, but I have fibromyalgia. The numb arms, though, I get when I have to tighten the straps of my bra to where they should be but it cuts off circulation.
I started wondering if I had lung problems or heart burn but it's so hard to tell as I kind of always feel a dull tiredness in my shoulders and ribcage area & sometimes a niggly chest pain in either side or if I take a deep breath sometimes the pain comes sharp and into my left breast or sometimes the right. I do get the numb arm thing worse if I tighten the straps too.
What is the treatment for fibromyalgia?
I got diagnosed as having premenstrual dysphoric disorder once and I do know my symptoms get worse when it's the week before my period.
Thank you for replying , I feel less anxious now cause I think I freak out and feel worse. It's worse when I tense or stress.

Bra adventure! I think I am buying too many bras. I have like four I need to sell. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.
I have found some that fit amazingly well: Panache Andorra, Freya Patsy Half Cup, Cleo Juna -- and some that fit reasonably well: Freya Deco, Fauve Annalise, Curvy Kate Angel.
Filed under Bras ups and downs
Sell em, give em away, trade em! It's nice to pass things on.
If you're still active here, can you please tell me what size Panache Andorra worked for you? I can't figure them out. From your postings of adventures, I think we are similar.
This is @N by Natori strapless bra with straps, goes to H cup and 1/8 thick cup. I'm very excited to try this strapless. The only other strapless available that goes to G is @Wacoal Red Carpet. I don't like the fabric or the shape of this strapless.

I have been thinking about this a lot. Since I've come closer and closer to the K-cup barrier, I was also considering sister size up in bras to get more options. Sadly I came to the conclusion that sizing up does not work in most cases or just cause other fit issues. Then if the cups are suddenly too deep, ... the bra starts lacking support. I already had this issues with Bravissimo balconettes that I tried 7-8 months ago, but I couldn't solve the mystery until now.
I will analyze the fit issues of several bras of mine. Side pics of them:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/96373516@N07/9377318782/
36J - Cleo » Marcie (6831) :
I tried 3 sizes of it and none fitted me correctly. The fit issues were rather similar in all 3 bras but got worse the more I sized up.
The last one I tried was a 36J (in which I sister sized up to get a cup volume of a 32K) and it didn't worked out: it gave me a good shape, but that's the only positive thing I can say. Overall the bra (band and wires) did almost nothing for my boobs and most weight was on the straps! I felt no support from the center gore, straps are too separated and the wires on the side did also nothing to me (because they are too low):
http://www.flickr.com/photos/96373516@N07/9300763522/in/set-72157634666270000
Also there is some slight “gaping” on top!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/96373516@N07/9309250354/in/set-72157634666270000
An issue I hadn't seen since ages, since I'm used to have every bra cut in on top!
After a while of thinking I solved the mystery why 36J didn't worked for me: too deep cups! Marcie has tons of cup depth actually and tons of room on top.
If one sizes up too much, the bra will give no support because boobs just hang in there in their "natural" shape. No compression or shaping of boobs happens anymore. Boobs project like crazy. The narrow band cannot hold the weight. So all weight is on the straps and they have razor sharp edges that cut into the flesh.
34JJ - Elomi » Caitlyn Underwire Side Support (8030) :
This bra is quite comfy although there are tons of fit issues.
The wires are super wide and extended to my back and the gore floats. Those wires are super weak and distort like crazy:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/96373516@N07/9272315722/in/set-72157634614085984
http://www.flickr.com/photos/96373516@N07/9269533315/in/set-72157634614085984
Caitlyn was known to be the one with the most stable wires out of Elomi bras...
It's commonly said that wires distort, when a band is too tight. The 34 band of Caitlyn is not too tight on me. Neither is the 36 band of the Marcie. So can wire distortion only be caused by a too tight band? I don't think so.
Bravissimo Balconettes:
Last winter when I was a 30J in Panache / Cleo, I bought my first Bravissimo bras and was quite impressed by their stable construction. Warned by reviews that they run small and that they tend to have super tight top sections, I sized up 1-3 cups in the bras I tried.
I got a good fit (so I thought then) and wore Alana in 30K and Boudoir Beau 30JJ.
Several problems did show up later (of course only then when I already removes tags and decided to keep the bras – because bras are just evil like that) , pointy shape, bands gave not enough support, wires distorted, top edges still cut in, too much weight on straps, breast tissue escaped on the side.
At that time I got a 30JJ Tango and it fitted me quite well. Tangos wires were compared to a Beau much higher and did not distort:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/96373516@N07/9358172996/in/set-72157634777304190
I tried more Bravissimo bras in even bigger cup sizes and got super weird results until I finally gave up on them:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/96373516@N07/9355383919/in/set-72157634777304190/
Now I think I finally solved the mystery why they didn't work on me: too much cup depth where I don't needed it!
A 30K Alana had too much cup depth which caused the wires to distort. 32K Fleur wasn't much better and only gave a decent shape when straps were tightened to the max, which gave me immediate neck pain.
I might would wear a 32L or 34KK these days in Bravissimo but I don't think these bras would fit me at all. Bravissimo bras are just not made for my full on top – center heavy boobs.
There are only 2 options with them: get your usual size and quadboob or size up like madness and get above described issues with them.
Did you experience similar issues? Does sizing up in band to get the cup volume you need work for you?

Yup, same for me, and it's a new way of describing "reversed letterphobia" as sizing up in something one is incompatible with instead of sizing up because the band is too tight. And I actually think this reason is more common than being in too tight bands. I've realized I will more or less always be in between sizes and from now on I tend to go with the smaller one.
I want to ping @George on this adventure because I think it fills out the gap between German bra fitting and say http://sizemapp.com (which is now the number one calculator in Bratabase bra fitting) because the differences isn't that big in the end. And what it comes down to is finding out the shape of the bra most compatible with ones boobs? Because if we have a lot of fit issues it isn't that easy to find a good bra.
I think it's so easy to get lost into bra fitting by seeing the same fit issue everywhere when it is so much more diverse and individual.
I also like to ping @t_maia and @denocte since I know you're also active busenfreundinnen :) Oh and @Vee since sizemapp is her calculator.
On me band size plays a very little role in the slanting wires ordeal and on say @Jillsas it seems to play a bigger? :)
Also ping @rawrrawr here when I'm at it.
This suddenly makes sense! While I haven't actually managed to do what you've done and put on cups which are deeper than my breast perimeter, it does explain a lot of fit issues I've been having.
The depth of the cups is distributed in the wrong way for frame/bust shape, so we end up taking bigger and bigger sizes to not have bras cut in at the top, and in this process, the wires get wider and wider, so weird things start to happen. This probably also explains why I've been wanting really tight bands, to counteract the weird forces that the bra experiences.
I just feel like bras haven't really been designed for J+ breasts at all, so while we can have lifting boob covers, the actual forces that the bras and our bodies experience aren't quite right.
I feel like there's a need for incredibly strong wires which don't distort too much, as even in apparently super tough bras like Panache, I still get wrapping around my body which ruins the shape of the cups.
Still, when it comes to the choice of having the 'right' size, and having the bra cut in because angling it up on my shoulders closes off the cups or having the 'wrong' size which is too large and not having quadboob, I'd lean to the 'wrong' size every time. I'm not sure if that's right any more. It seems be taking a massive toll on my frame. I can't wear a bra these days for more than about 30 minutes without breaking skin. Am I better off to put up with the bra cutting in? Will that fix some of the issues I'm experiencing with forces on my body creating pressure sores? I don't really know. Bra fit seems to be unnecessarily stressful for me at present.

Oh, what have I done! I just ordered a new Freya Deco in 30GG without trying it on. I got a great deal from amazon ($45!) and I checked all the measurements, it SHOULD fit me! I desperately need a good t-shirt bra. By finding one bra that does fit me (30G) and measuring it, I was able to settle on a beautiful 30GG nude Freya Deco Plunge T-Shirt bra. I can't wait until it arrives!

I bought the @Chantelle Pure Full Coverage T shirt convertible bra in 34G, it does not go to H cup. It was on sale at 27 dollars and at @FreshPair- no shipping. I like the convertible part , the cups are different, really gentle hand washing and air drying. I'm deciding about the brand. The 34 is snug on ... the loose setting, , I measured and I really need an H but it works. Then I compared my Wacoal 34G T shirt bra with this bra, and @Chantelle cup is two inches larger. I want to try on more @Chantelle in this band size and in 36 and also other bras and see how @ Chantelle runs in fit.
On the @Natori front.... N by Natori has a strapless with straps that goes to H cup with 1/8 lining in the cup. I'm excited I can't wait to try that strapless !

I have a Chantelle Rive Guache in 36DD that I wear with a bra extender and the cups seem similar to the cups on my Wacoal Alluring in 40D.
36DD isn't even a sister size of 40D. 36DD is smaller. So I think I know what your talking about when you said Chantelle cups are bigger.
The Chantelle is the same band size and supposed to be the same cup size, but the cup measures two inches larger. Interesting. This is my first Chantelle I got on sale, a great sale price and its convertible which I really like. Now I want to try other Chantelle in 32,34,36 and cup sizes to see how the other cup sizes fit. If the 32 fits better in the H cup, with the sizing, I will go with that.
So I stumbled across a series called "How to Look Good Naked" and the women was incredibly self conscious about her breasts. First I question the legitimacy of the show, it looked a lot like poor acting. Secondly the bra she walked in with was the worst fitting bra I've ever seen, she must've been wearing a 38DD. It was ... awful the gore didn't tack, her boobs fell out the bottom, the band rode up to her shoulders. Then they brought her to Intimacy, while I have never been to an Intimacy I have some serious doubts about their fitting technique. She was fitted into bras that were about 1-2 band sizes too large and 2 cups too small. BRAVISSIMO PLEASE COME TO AMERICA

I've been to Intimacy. They don't have a fitting method, or at least the one I went to didn't. They looked at me, declared me a 32H and put me in all the styles in that size they could('which wasn't very many because it's such a huge and uncommon size'.) At that time I was a 28J when I finally got myself fitted as I refused to buy from there because none of the bras felt comfortable, looked nice or made me feel good. They didn't even enforce the swoop and scoop method!
My Intimacy experience was pretty bad. I went in when I should have been wearing 32GG/H or 30H/HH and the girl sized me at 32FF/G. I was relatively inexperienced with bra-fitting, but I could even tell the bras she had me trying on were way too small in the cup. The cheapest thing they had was over $60 and I new that style could be found for around $20 online.

I've actually thought about this before, but today I decided to share it with everyone here. I generally avoid racerback sports bras because I find them troublesome to pull over my head. Shock Absorber did something interesting because they added another fastening to the back, but a lot of people have a hard time fastening the top closure. ... My question is, why haven't they been created with front or side closures? That makes more sense to me as that's the easiest place for our arms to reach. Enell has a front closure, but as far as I'm aware it's not adjustable. We could even have two sets of closures, one to adjust the tightness (the back closure), and one to fasten the bra (front or side). Maybe there's something I'm missing, but this seems like such a good idea.
Edit: I know that they do exist with front closures, but most of them seem to come in a limited size range and are for lower impact activity.

You're voicing exactly what I have been thinking myself: two closures -- one for adjusting the size and an 'easy access' one in the front for easy dressing! It can't be THAT hard to design something like that, can it?
I thought this was interesting. I've never had abuse but maybe the odd older man or woman glance at my chest as they walk past me. My boobs aren't full on top and perky but on the soft side, so I tend to wear a lot of t-shirts that cover my cleavage. Has anyone had strangers in ... the street do anything weird? Sometimes I think I don't mind people glancing at me cause it's a natural human thing to do but not knowing what they're thinking is uncomfortable cause I instantly just think that they're thinking something negative like OMG .

Apparently one can glance at breasts or cleavage for three seconds without being inappropriate.
I have had men trip or walk into walls, get pinched by their wives, the usual 'are they real' comments and girls calling me a slag. Most just look.
I wear a modest 55G. I can easily shop off the rack and while my clothes are fitted, I don't usually show cleavage.

After trying out/ breaking in/ getting used to bras in a better size for just three months I've started to see some changes in my boobs. When I press them backwards they used to extend into infinity, or so it would seem. Now there is a definite end to them under my armpits, even though I'm still waiting for a ... clear crease. This was somewhat expected. (I've been wearing 80C and so far I'm at 32FF which is almost double in volume.)
It's more surprising to see my larger breast sort of bend outward. I'm close-set (like my mum) and both my nipples have been pointing forward and slightly down. But lately one of them has started to point to the side and more up instead.
I just thought the internet needed to know. No, but I'm really surprised by this. I wonder if this means that I will get a more separated chest eventually. That would certainly make it a lot easier to find bras! Has anyone else seen unexpected changes from wearing better bras?

Ya for me very shortly after I started wearing bras with wider cups my nipples started pointing less down and out and now they are fairly close to pointing straight out.
I haven't found a definite crease but I also haven't found anything close to perfect yet. I am definitely able to fill out cups with larger volumes though. I don't think that is new I just don't think I ever tried before.

I take them sort of on an as-needs basis. If I feel like my bras are fitting differently, I'll measure again. Or if I specifically want fit help with a new bra I've got or something.
For me, I've never known my boobs to get smaller. They haven't figured that bit out yet. :/
Everytime I notice that my current bras don't fit right and that this has been a problem for a week or two (to rule out hormonal changes) I measure.

Needless to say this is an utterly bizar assumption as the bras she wears function more like boob hammocks than anything else. The gore is so far from tacking that it simply floats like a decorative element on the front of her mashed together breasts. The only reason not all her bands are up in her neck (some are, though) ... is that the cups are so ridiculously small that the whole contraption is pulled more or less taut enough to stay in place. For some reason she only quadboobs (massively) when she bends over, so I assume that she wears her straps at the loosest possible setting. For what it's worth, they seem to slip from her shoulders at regular intervals.
An 80/36C -- I've actually seen some 85/40Bs on her laundry line as well, o.O -- would put her only one cup size up from me and my '65E' (30DD). Again, this is outright bizar. She's AT LEAST four -- but possibly more like six -- cup sizes up from me and maybe though at most two bandsizes, which would put her somewhere around 34FF-34GG (she has quite a muscular back). Sure, menopause has stacked her midsection somewhat, but there is no way in this world she would need an 80/36, let alone an 85/40 band! Of course, it doesn't help that she also thinks she was a 75/34B her entire life before menopause hit and that she only buys her bras from a budget chain store with a ridiculously limited size range.
She has always had quite ideal RTW EU size 36 proportions (her only 'deviation' was her somewhat short back), and now she wears a EU size 38 across the board, with a slightly thicker waist (she doesn't seem to realise, though, that most of her fitted tops and jackets are terribly strained across her chest ... ). Her body shape has always been somewhat different from mine -- I have always had a decidedly smaller waist, much wider hips and shoulders, and much smaller breasts -- and her breast shape is almost the complete opposite of mine: my mother has a typical bottom-heavy 'tear drop' shape breast with perky nipples and a clearly defined root completely on the front of her chest. Although these differences make it difficult for me to estimate what she would need, I'm sure she needs (relatively) much narrower and much deeper cups than I do, which makes me think she'd probably be a good candidate for Fantasie and the likes. Of course, she would probably consider these bras not trendy and youthful enough (she still dresses much more 'fashion-conscious' and youthful than I do and buys new clothes practically every week, only 'on sale', of course ... ).
... I truly wish I could bring up the issue as it almost hurts to look at her (she's NOT particularly shy of showing cleavage), but I'm afraid it would only result in a terrible row, as she has severe body shape and image issues and always had. Seriously, I can't remember a time she WASN'T on some kind of experimental diet and maniacal exercise routine, which has landed me with severe issues myself, as she always was thin, trim, and 'perfectly' proportioned, and I, with my 'big butt' and 'teeny tiny breasts', obviously wasn't. Also, EVERYTHING between us has the potential to blow up massively and it's only my constant 'walking on eggs' that has kept us in any kind of 'close' contact. I really really love my mother, but she can unfortunately be terribly immature, short-fused, and self-centered, which leaves me with a rather dire dilemma

You are a fellow Finn, so if you come up with an idea, how to speak about it, please let me know!!!!
I have the same issue with my mom :(
I think she wears 80B or so... (maybe 75B?) Those horrible non-wired beige triangle-cup bras which not only don´t support in any way, but drag the breasts down!! I wear 28F / 28FF, and I think our boobs are about the same size.
I don´t want to start lecturing about it, I think it would get us nowhere. I also cannot decide if it would be better leave her be. It might be she isn´t that interested and I honestly don´t know if it would be easier for her not to know how bras were supposed to fit.
I dunno... :(
I'm actually Dutch, but my husband is Finnish and we live in Finland :)
My mother is very fashion-conscious, also when it comes to her underwear -- I swear she has a colourful matching set for every single one of her outfits -- almost to the point of obsession, but that may actually be one of the problems. I think she all to readily sacrifices fit over 'style'. Well, that, and the fact that she seems genuinely clueless about how things 'should' fit and that cups over B are NOT necessarily huge *rolls eyes*

Hi there,
I'm a first time poster here, but have learned so much in the three months I've been a reader here. I live outside the u.s. and based on recommendations/reviews/advice I've amassed a treasury of bras to try on, during my short visit. (I'm in California now).I've had some stunning successes, Anita sportsbra, and of ... course miserable failures. I will be sharing successes in detail my successes at a later date.
Many of the bras I purchased were second hand, from here, or ebay deals I thought were worth the gamble. I would really like to see the bras, probably about 8, go to the right people.
I think I'm about a 34=36 h or hh (british sizing). But as you all know brands vary so much.
So anyone up for receiving a pack of bras around that size? All I'll ask that you measure them, do reviews, photographs, (to strengthen bratabase) and pass along those that don't fit you to someone worthy.
Yup free bras.
Let me know if I've got a taker, or if you know of a worthy recipient.
Would have loved this opportunity twenty years ago.
Pay it forward , bra style.
