I have what seems like these permanent dips in my shoulders from crappy fitting bras. If you've seen any of the pictures by my bratabase reviews, you can clearly see what I mean. Because of the dips, unless I'm wearing the straps super loose, it looks like the straps are too tight even when they aren't! Like the straps could ... be on the verge of slipping but in the photos they look like they're burrowing their way into my shoulders. Basically, when I was in completely wrong sizes, my bra straps would fall down all the time so I'd just tighten them up as much as possible. And since the straps were doing the job of supporting my breasts instead of my loose bands for YEARS...well, I feel like a textbook case of When Bras Deform Your Body
It actually feels weird when I don't feel the pressure of straps digging in. I've had to train myself NOT to tighten the straps and start out loose and only tighten in small increments, as needed. One of my bra fitting challenges, since I'm short-waisted, is finding straps that aren't too long. Or don't tighten up right into my armpits. Or aren't set too wide that they're trying to amputate my arms. Ugh.
But what I want to know is: will these dents in my shoulders ever go away?

S has a higher gore and is meant for really soft breast tissue compared to PL, and it also has more of a pushed up/pointy projected silhouette. I believe 3D styles are a bit more shallow, but I have no personal experience. Unless you have really soft breast tissue, or otherwise need a higher gore, I think you should stick with PL.
Thanks for the thorough reply! I don't think I am fit for the Lolitka styles then sadly :( I have pretty dense and firm breast tissue and they are neither shallow at all! The 3D appears to have an even lower center gore than the PL. It's pretty hard for me to get cleavage in bras, even the PLs, so I think I might be willing to sacrifice aesthetics for subpar fit in the 3D. Hey, I guess every [bra-loving] girl needs a diverse bra wardrobe ^^;
