This bra surprised me. Before I got the bra extenders I just measure it and assumed it wouldn't work for me at all because it was too narrow. However I think that the shape is very good, and it looks like I have huge boobs to me, maybe it's an optical illusion from the lines I don't know.
If I'm only looking at my boobs in the bra I think it looks great, however, once I look at the armpit fat it is clearly way too narrow, as expected. It is as narrow as my old 38B bras, but has more depth, so more boob fits in, but not ...enough. So it looks better but not good enough.
I wonder if I could find a bra like this with longer wires if it would hold in all the armpit fat, I think that would look quite good.
It felt surprisingly comfortable, but maybe that was just me liking how my boobs looked.
Also I thought the bra looked a bit cheap in person, the white lace at the edges didn't reach the edge the whole way around, which I thought made it look like it wasn't sewn properly. The bulging at the side might be because I am not at all a 30 band, and maybe the two bra extenders just weren't what the bra was built too handle. The two extenders were just barely enough that I could fasten it so maybe it was too much pressure. Read more 136 more words
Visually, gorgeous bra!! Beautiful pink color with lovely embroidery on the top but that's where my positive comments stop. I do not like the fit of this bra. The best way I can describe this bra is that it's there. I get no sense of shaping or support from this design. I'm not sure if this is the right size for me. It has seaming on the outside as well as inside the cup but I don't get the same great shaping as I usually do with 3 part cups. This bra doesn't seem to know if it's a three part cop or a molded bra. In my opinion, it's definitely the latter. To be fair, I have bottom heavy breasts and I really feel better in something that can really hoist the girls up and this bra just doesn't do it for me. It may be that this style just doesn't work for my breast shape and composition. I'll leave this one to my full on top sisters.
This bra is way too big. It's just plain huge on me. With most bras that I have gaping issues on, the gaping happens at the top and quadboobing in the center because it's the wrong shape. This bra gaps everywhere. Everything else is right about it, but the cups are far too large for me. It's a nice bra, though. I would consider trying it in 30DD if I stumbled upon it in a store.
WAY too small. Runs a bit tight in the band and more than a bit small in the cups. Would be good for someone between 28-30. Very pretty alternative to a basic black bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
it's super comfy, and pretty heavy duty. the gores are a good height, and the straps are soft. I just got it yesterday, so I don't know how it stretches, but it seems like it will hold up well. I generally prefer (and fit better in) a 28 band, but this works well for me. I have a petite frame at 5'2, us size 0-2, so I thought this bra might be a little big overall for me, but I actually really like it and it's proportional.
Con is that the black stripes show through fabric, but it's not a huge deal for me as I generally wear tank tops under everything.
This is an all around great bra, the sizing is just way off. I bought when I was a cup size smaller, and I wish I had gotten a 34 instead of a 32- this band fits more like a 30 than a 32. Since it was my first specialty bra, I didn't know any better and would wear it all day comfortably, except for being unable to breathe. I would totally buy the same bra again, just in the proper size. The construction of the bra is excellent, it's very durable.
This bra is a great fit for me! It hugs me in all the right places to give my breasts a nice lifted and round shape. Gives great cleavage for those times when that's appropriate. The lift also allows for my waist to be seen more and that helps me to appear thinner. If you have wide breasts that tend to go a bit under your armpits, like mine do, this bra will help bring it all forward. When I first got the bra the band felt slightly tight and would irritate me after a couple of hours of wear, but it seems to be breaking ...in nicely. A bra extender can help alleviate this issue until it's broken in, as well. My only mild complaint is that my breasts tend to spill out a bit in the center after a few hours of wear and moving around. It's not enough to bother me too much, though, as I love the shape this gives me. The design on the cups is a nice detail. It's lacey on the bottom half of the cup. I don't think the lace would show through in most shirts since it is on the under side of your breasts. The straps are comfortable, but slightly too wide to be worn under spaghetti strap shirts. This probably won't be my everyday bra, but it will definitely get plenty of use when I want to dress up for a night out or wear tight/lower cut shirts. Read more 151 more words
After a few wears, I realized that my breasts were not filling out the cup, even though it was a smaller numbered cup from what I'm used to. It had the same measurements as my 30E - Parfait By Affinitas ยป Leslie Contour Bra (6501). My shallow breasts just couldn't make it work in a molded full-cup style. I guess I should stick with demis and half-cups.
It was very pretty and I thought it fit when I wore it in the store. However, after a full day of wear I decided that it doesn't work with my breast shape and there are parts of the bra that aren't filled out properly.
Might be good for shallower shapes, but didn't come anywhere close to fitting me. I might give Parfait's bras another try when they come out with G+ cup sizes, but it's definitely not on the top of the list. It's also a lot more padded than I expected, and the purple is shinier than it appears in pictures. On the plus side, the band is very firm and nice and wide, with boning at the sides.
I just received this bra from another Bratabase user, and it's my favorite so far! The band is firm and fairly wide, with boning at the sides (which I love), and it doesn't make any back bulges at all. I fill out the cups completely, unlike some other molded cups I've tried. It doesn't give me any cleavage, like a lot of other reviewers, but I don't think it's possible for me to get cleavage from any bra. It looks great under thin knits! No part of it digs in or is uncomfortable and the straps are very soft and a nice width.
See my previous review. This remains one of my favorite everyday bras that I will keep in my collection for a long time to come, if at all possible https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra was my first attempt at a bra that actually fit! I found it because of recommendations from this site & HerRoom.com's fitting guides. That being said, it is a very pretty & sexy bra. It's made of soft material and seems to be pretty sturdy and supportive (at least much more so than my other bras!). I thought it had a very nice profile under clothes even some gapping at the top of the cups. The band width was perfect for me, no poking or rubbing. The straps are set a little wide & it should be noted they can only be adjusted halfway because of the (very pretty I will add!) pleating on the front of them.
This bra seems to run large for a 30E. The straps are fully adjustable. Cute bra, doesn't fit me quite right. Might be good for full on top, not sure. The straps sit too far apart for me.
