Bought off zullily mostly because it looked nice and , but I didn't realize that Affinitas has
Nice color- I personally am very partial to navy because I think it is less harsh than black and looks nice on my skintone. Firm band that seems to run true to size in 32F Side boning- good for support and keeping things where they should be Cons:
High gore - gave me blisters almost Very high wings Rough edges on pretty much everything. The boning was crazy uncomfortable. Stiff cups The foam feels rather.. cheap.
So, I hate pink... and since this bra only comes in blue and pink (I think) I dyed the pink one to be more suited to me. I love this bra! It's super comfy and gives a nice shape. So far it's held up really nicely.
I am tall, with low, wide, shallow, widely spaced, FOB breasts and a promient sternum. I am very pleased with the fit of this bra, as I am somewhat difficult to fit. I am typically (barely) a US size 32DD and UK size 34D (30" ribcage measurement but I'm very bony with sensitive skin, so I need a band that's not too tight). I decided to size down in the cup after looking at the measurements and reading reviews. I haven't personally compared the 32D with the 32DD, since I ordered it online, but I am satisfied with how the 32D fits me. I am paranoid about not ...filling up my cup (probably from years of being told I was flat), and the 32D gives me a tiny bit of quadboob at first scoop and swoop, but my breast tissue settles and fills out the cups (seemingly) perfectly. This band, while being much the same as other UK sized bands in tightness, seems more comfortable to me. It digs in a bit, but I couldn't go to a 34 band without D cups, risking cups that were too big for me. The straps are pleasingly wide, about 3/4 of an inch, and nicely stretchy - with other bras, notably the Cleo Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7201) , the straps just won't extend enough to be comfortable, and they don't have enough stretch. The gore doesn't come up high enough to poke me in the sternum, and I haven't had to bend the wires outwards like I have to on some of my bras because of my weird bone structure. The wings are high (just the way I like them), and the wires don't extend the full length of their channels, on either end, leaving about 1/2 of an inch empty tubes, which doesn't bother me. Visually, the bra is very pretty, I love the navy color, and the lace at the top is attractive without being lumpy underneath my shirt. This bra doesn't give me crazy lift, nor does it really flatten me. It's a nice everyday rounded shape. The "padding" is not padding in the US sense of the word but fits in with my experience of other UK bras labeled "padded" - i.e. the cups are made with a thin layer of foam, not just fabric. Overall I would recommend this bra to anyone who is also shallow, with wide roots, low breasts, widely spaced breasts, FOB. I would consider going down a cup size if you are even vaguely in between sizes, though. Read more 321 more words
Fits similar to the Parfait Saffron, but I have a little tiny tad quad boob if I stick my breast out far. Might just be the way this particular one bra was sewn. The tag also says that the size is a 70DD China/Intl, but it wouldn't let me enter in that size. Has side boning.
This bra is very much the wrong shape for me, which is a pity because the moulded up are so comfortable. I think it would work for someone less FOT.
It's got a very firm, wide, and supportive band, which I like. I adore the rich navy-blue color. I think the top section with the design wouldn't show through most tops but definitely would show through very thin tops.
This bra feels like a hug, it just looks terrible on me because it's such a weird shape. I hung onto it for way too long despite never having actually worn it, just because I wanted it to work.
I was concerned with exactly how much padding this bra would have (but ordered it anyway and took the chance) but to be honest the padding isn't any more than you'd find in the average t-shirt/contour bra. It is different from their "half-padded" styles which are essentially half t-shirt bra cup and the upper cup is typically lace or sheer only. From the fit it appears to be one of their more recent seasonal releases that in my experience have had wide wires - definitely a good thing for me. It does have that new-bra starchy feel, so I may actually do something I almost never do when I get a new bra - wash it before wearing it the first time because it's new and it's a bra that fits. The matching panties are cute (plus they don't have that center front seam that I HATE) and the right mix of girly/sexy but comfortable.
This is one of my favorite bras! It give me a nice rounded low-profile look and works very well for my shape. I like this bra soo much that I bought two and ended up dying the pink one (since I don't like pink at all) to purple! The stitching and lace didn't take the dye, but I still like it soo much better now that it's purple and pink instead of just pink. I think this is good for someone who is shallow to average projection and definitely good for FoB ladies.
Band is surprisingly firm- I'm a 30 and it would do fine. A bit looser than I'd like, so would be totally fine on a true 32, but I could make it work if the rest fit. I love the color and design and everything about the look, but the cups are just a little bit too big for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I think they MAY be a bit shallow, but I can't tell very well because that could just be the cups being too big for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
Very pretty and potentially comfortable bra, unfortunately I think the cups are too large. The gore, underwires and band were all perfect though. The straps may have been a little too far apart as well, but I don't know if that would have been an issue if the cups had fit.
