This bra is quite comfortable and very lovely. It gives a good shape, a little more "natural" than the Deco, but good for everyday wear. The straps are a tiny bit too far apart for my liking, and I get my typical orange in a glass if the bra isn't adjusted just so, but otherwise it is quite comfortable and well fitting.
I got this bra used, but the band would be too loose on me new. I will update this bra with fit if I get around to altering the band, because I think most of the problems I have with it now (gapping after a while, gore not tacking) would be solved with a tighter band. Otherwise, I completely love this bra! The lace on the sides is a nice detail, and it's good to wear under most clothes.
I love the band on this bra. Four hooks offers so much support that I initially felt like this could be a strapless bra. But the bra does have straps, and those straps are not well designed. I have broad shoulders, so usually wide straps are not an issue for me. However, the Charlotte's straps are affixed to the side support, and this start in the armpit. It wasn't uncomfortable for me immediately, but I am certain that it would chafe if I kept the bra. The straps angle inward immediately, which meant that there was gaping. The strap is just ...too wide and flat to negotiate the curve of my breast near my armpit. While it was possible to tighten away the gaping, the straps were cutting into my shoulders uncomfortably when I did so.
The gore is also a little too wide for me and did not lie flat on the top. I am not sure why Parfait decided to put some fabric between the two wires to make this gore larger than most. It seems like an unusual choice, and one which won't work for a lot of people.
I agree with the many people who have suggested that the new larger cup Charlottes should be sized up in the cup but there's no need to size down in the band. I typically wear a 34GG (36G in Panache) and the 34H was a good fit in both the cup and the band. Read more 147 more words
This is my favorite undergarment to wear. It's beautiful and looks wonderful, although it is difficult to fasten. I have a small waist and my measurements put me in a 28F/FF, and therefore I wish I could have ordered a 28F instead, but none are available. This is definitely sufficient. The underwires dig in very slightly, and because it doesn't fit exactly right the piping up the sides sometimes puckers.
It fits my smaller boob well, but not the bigger one. It has a great shape. Eventually the wire poked out of the bra. The foam is not as sturdy as a Fantasie molded cup.
I've had the unpadded Kelly bra for a long time and always liked it, so when I saw a padded version that came in nude on Zulily, I snatched it up. When it finally arrived and I put it on I was so disappointed! The shape was weird and the cups felt alternately too big and too small (a problem I have with basically every padded plunge ever). A week later, though, I wore it to work, and everything seems pretty okay. The shape of the wires isn't quite right so it sits a little weird on my chest, but it's nice and tight and I don't see any gaping or quadding through a shirt. It's far from the perfect nude t-shirt bra I'm seeking, but it's plenty good for now.
The cup depth is the same for the 34HH and the 34J. Therefore this bra still doesn't tack and I still get quad boob. All they did was increase the wire length thus building up the armpit area of the bra. My boobs are not in my armpit. If I buy a cup size bigger I expect the cup to be (gasp) bigger. These big bust companies can be so frustrating sometimes. I guess I'll have to stick to my Panache Jasmines for now.
This review is for the European nude color, which is really an attractive neutral. I've worn this style before without any problems, so reordered to replace one that had worn out. It looks like they've redesigned it a little bit from the previous year, but no major changes. The most noticeable change is that the straps are much less stretchy, now a simple satin finish rather than the thick elastic from previous years. I think it's an improvement. They're still very wide and not really something you'd want to slip out of a tanktop though. I have a weird fit issue with ...this bra though. The cups seem to fit perfectly if I just hold them up, but when I put the bra on there's a gap at the upper edge. I think it's because the bottom of the cup is too shallow and my tissue tilts it forward a little bit. No amount of adjusting the straps, pulling down the band, etc, seems to help. And the weirdest thing is that the black version, same model, same size, fits perfectly. Read more 83 more words
Love, love, love this bra! It's so right for my shape in so many ways:
Wires are just wide enough. Could be a tad wider, BUT the nice boning on the wings adds side support, so I'm goodhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Sides of cup come up nice and high, encompassing all of my side boob.
Side slings gather said side boob and gently coax it to the front.
Three hooks do a much better job of smoothing back fat than two hooks do. Additionally, the wings are nice and wide.
It just feels so supportive and comfortable!
It is gorgeous!
I feel sexy in it. It's got a burlesque, boudoir, pin-uppy vibe that I just love!
It's very inexpensive considering the quality of the bra.
Now I want it in all of the colorshttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The only downside: I live in the South, and it does show under thin t-shirts and dresses. I wouldn't exactly call it a t-shirt bra.
This bra fits, but I don't think I'm going to keep it. It has a more natural shape, and I prefer the shape of the Casey. I like the side boning and the wide band a lot. Also, even though the gore is high, it does not dig in at all. The "european nude" color is a little dark for my skin tone, but close enough that it doesn't show under light shirts.
This is my 3rd try on this bra. I went from 38H>38J>38JJ. Each time I had quadboob but awesome cleavage! I find that if I vigorously scoop and swoop, I still get a little quadboob but I'm keeping this one! The cups come up really high under my arms as does the wires, but I love the sturdiness of this bra and the 4 hooks in the back. Great rounded profile and soft hills on top and the black stripe doesn't show under shirts as a seam. Great bra!
This is the bra I have been searching for. The shape is exactly what I want and this bra provides the best support ever (excluding my panache sports bra). The wires are also pretty perfect as well. Nice and narrow. Not as narrow as Comexim, but I'd say it is about on par with Ewa Michalak.
My only problem with this bra is that the cup size is at least one size too small for me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Possibly two. I am definitely going to purchase this bra again in a new cup size though because it is truly wonderful. Perfect and comfortable.
I also love the four rows of hooks and the lovely fabric.
This is a gorgeous bra. I bought the wrong size, but I will definitely be buying it in the proper size as soon as I figure out which to get. I was told the cups and band run small, so I sized up from my normal 32FF to a 34FF. The band was definitely too large on me. It may run slightly large, but I thought it felt pretty true to size. It felt comfortable to me on the tightest hook, but I definitely need a 32. The cups were definitely one size small, though. I get a little "orange in a glass", but that's normal for me ...(weird roots) and I think would be fixed with the proper sized band. However, after scooping and swooping, I had a tiny bit of quad boob on top, or a little bit of breast tissue under the gore. So I would even venture to say that this bras runs one and a half cup sizes too small, but that may just be my super soft boobs. The construction on this bra is great. I love the thick straps and three hooks. The shape is lovely, just slightly more natural than the perfect orb. There's really nothing I can say in terms of cons on this bra, other than that this particular size didn't fit me. However, I only tried it on, so I'm not sure about long term wear. Ordered this bra before I knew it ran small.. Definitely fits closer to a 28E in my opinion, so it's very unwearable for me. It's gorgeous, though, and I think if I had ordered it in a couple sizes higher I would have been quite happy with it.
I got this bra in the dusty rose color. Unfortunately the cup is still a little too small. I am a 34H most of the time and I purposely ordered the 34HH because of this bras reputation for small cup sizing. I have slight quadding and the gore isn't quite tacking. I will try the 34J because I think that will remedy these issues. The band I find to be accurate. The four hooks is amazing. It feels so secure and sturdy and it does wonders for back fat. If you're a true K or maybe even double JJ this bra probably won't work for you. You definitely need to size up one or two cups.
On me this winds up being a full cup bra rather than a usual balconette shape. The cups are very, very tall. They don't feel too deep, or too wide, they just come up really high on my very short torso. The tall sides keep tissue in the cups, which is great, but the straps don't adjust short enough for me. I'll have to alter them, somehow. They are made of a rubbery type of material that has wedges in it. The wedges are great for keeping the straps from slipping and losing the right length, but since the straps don't adjust ...short enough the wedged part just adds extra bulk on my frame. Fiona is a sturdy, comfortable bra. I thought the cups would be more "half-cups"; like Ewa Michalak styles. Actually, Fiona is quite similar to Cleo Juna, but Fiona has much taller sides. It's a tall-cupped t-shirt bra with stretchy elegant lace on the cups. Like all Parfaits, it seriously has to be "broken in" and it doesn't start to feel quite right until it's been worn and washed several times. The bra is a perfectly suitable everyday bra and it costs much less than the European brands I love so much. I won't be re-purchasing this particular model though. Read more 117 more words
