      Thank you for reviewing this!

I know exactly what you mean about feeling the unwired bra more than the wired bra. Panache and Freya need to take lessons from Wacoal....seriously. Wacoal absolutely knows how to make comfortable, wireless matrix-sized bras whereas Panache and Freya engrave deep red grooves into my underbust.

That was a great review and so helpful! I feel like I know the ins and outs of this Andorra and can know what to expect from a purchase.

    • Love4Pollinators thanks! I was very surprised as I don't have many non-wired actual bras, not bralettes... I have none, to be honest. This is a very different experience and I am a bit on the fence here whether I find wired or non-wired bras more comfy.

The size range on this one is smaller than the older models. Bummer, it is nicer looking than Sophie and Alisha.

Some of my regular followers have probably seen the last batch of bras go up with pics and measurements recently, but been waiting anxiously for me to write the reviews for them. I am that way sometimes. I see the pics and measurements like teasers or trailers and I wait eagerly for the full show. I have been trying to get into the right mindset but also wear them for a little bit to give more than a first impression.

And I can imagine that this bra might be a highly anticipated review, due to the history I have had with the bra. For those who don’t know, ... I’ve tried Jasmine on multiple times in multiple sizes, and I have always gotten a pointy shape. It was too projected for my soft tissue and I’d spend all the tissue expanding forward and not have enough to round out the top of the cup with the stretch lace. So it’s always been a shape mismatch.

Then I had a little bit of growth at the end of summer and early fall last year and gained a little more fullness all over. In February of this year, I was in LA and went to a specialty ingerie store there and they had a few Cleo and Panache products, but only in 28 bands. I technically have a 28-28.5” under bust and most people size me into 28s but I’m not comfortable in them so I prefer to sister size to 30 bands but I can technically do them up for short term wear. So st this store, I tried the 28G Envy and 28FF Jasmine, and aside from the bands being too tight for comfort, the cups fit and gave me a way better shape than I have *ever* had from either. Still not super round, but most definitely not pointy torpedo boobs. More like a softer and more rounded natural shape. You can see the fit of them in my other reviews which I will try to find and link later.

ETA: link of 28FF which has link to the 32DD I tried a year ago...

    http://bra.pe/X0Ur/

So I had a seed planted in my head that day that maybe I would try a 30F or 30FF in in at some point. I recently had the chance to swap some bras with martka00, and this was one of them (the other one was 30F Ava which is too small). I really loved the blue blossom print and colours, and the “price” was right.

The colours are grey, cornflower blue, and yellow, in a subdued floral pattern. It’s not light enough for super light or thin tops but it’s still nice for the lighter coloured tops and is honestly so nice to wear as we are enjoying spring.

The bra is Jasmine’s typical construction, with the highlight being the stretch lace on top. The rest of the cups are 3 part construction, with one of them being a side sling. The gore is typical of Panache/Cleo balconette bras and is pretty tall, but also a little bit wide. Wires are also firm and hard as they are known for in the brand.

As to be expected, it fits pretty close to the 28FF fit from February, only a more comfortable band. My left boob is pushing it and threatening to spill. It’s actually very very slightly spilling. I am super curious about the fit of the 30FF in comparison, but I suspect that I’ll lose some of the rounded shape.

My tissue is still soft and malleable, and I do still lean towards fob, but my slight evening out from the growth in the fall has helped me fit this bra better now. I feel like I might be able to do narrower wires, but these are ok width for me.

I have worn it a few times and it’s been ok, but slouching in it did lead to increased sternum pain. Overall, I think that it’s a good fit and I will hang on to it for a bit. Between this and the Ava, both friends who saw pics of both bras loved this one on me best.

      This looks lovely!

    • Thank you both! I was really nervous about getting it, but as it was a swap, I felt better about it. Plus, the 28FF try on in February instrumental. I’m finding that this bra is ever so slightly too small, as my large boob bubbles a teensy bit, but I think I am ok with it for now. I’m skeptical that. 30FF would fit and look as nice. It’s such a great print and I love the dove grey.

  3. Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951)

TLDR: Jasmine is a shape mismatch for me, but this bra is so gorgeous that I wore it anyway.

QUALITY: Excellent quality from Panache, stiff wires, sturdy fabric and seams.

FIT: This worked for a little while, but it doesn't have enough immediate projection so it slid down a little in the front as well as wrinkling in the bottom of the cups. The straps are too wide set so they'd slide off when wearing it. The band was comfortable though and it was a comfortable bra to wear until my size changed. Stretch lace was nice for cycle fluctuations.

DESIGN: This bra is so pretty! I saw this ... bra come out new in the Bravissimo web store and just realized I HAD to have one, it's just so pretty. The geometric flower pattern is stunning and laying flat it looks so pretty I just want to pick it up and look closer at it. It still looks pretty when wearing it, but since this bra is a little bit of a shape mismatch on me personally, it doesn't look as amazing as I'd like it to. The blue fabrics chosen to accent the mosaic fabric are fitting color shades and I like that the straps are shiny. The top half of the cup has the signature Jasmine stretch lace, but in blue this round.

haha when I had it in 32J it was one of my faves! Its still in a drawer in case I ever lose enough weight. I've lost 10 lb but that just gets me back down to the size I was when I started wearing FBs

TLDR: Another pretty Panache bra, unfortunately a shape mismatch for me.

QUALITY: Excellent quality from Panache. Sturdy seams, nice fabric. Stiff wires like most Panache bras. I bought this in a Bravissimo store location many years ago.

FIT: This bra never really fit me right. It lacks just enough immediate projection that the cups wrinkle and slide down a little during the day, but also the band always rode up on me. It was probably a shape mismatch. The straps were too wide set for me as well, but the cup tension probably wasn't optimal, therfore contributing to that issue. I haven't worn this in a long time so ... it's hard to give a detailed description of fit. I didn't wear it much because the band always sat wrong on me.
Stretch lace was a big plus for me when I wore this though!

DESIGN: This bra is pretty. I've always been fond of floral designs and this is no exception. The pink flowers are sweet little color splashes across the black fabric, and I appreciate that the stretch lace also has a floral pattern. I like the loops of string to decorate the straps as well. There's a bow in the middle of the gore, which is nice since I'm a big fan of decorations at the gore.

    Overall:
Best suited for full on bottom shapes with average root width and projection: the cups runs a little small but the band runs a bit bigger. I think 30F will also suit certain 30Es and possibly smaller 32DD/32E

I try to cover all important topics:
fabric: I found the lace on this one to be scratchier than others
    straps: average placed I think!
    band: fits loose
really suited for FoB - this one was a bit big on me but there is no gaping at the top
projection: the immediate projection on this one is good, the projection is average.
wires: are a tad wide but that might just be me (narrow rooted)
COMFORT: an unlined bra with a low gore? yes yes YES this is comfy! (okay if you ignore the scratchy lace https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

Appearance: Beautiful, delicate, neutral lace. It look like fairy wings. Hello summer nude!

But oh the pain. If Panache wires pain you, you know what I'm talking about. Putting this bra on hurts. A band size up might less that slightly (but not entirely, and then it would ride up too). I can feel the wire pressing in at the gore, below my boobs and oh dear lort on the sides. The wires are too wide and too long, digging into my uncushioned, unprotected ribs. Its hard to review anything else about this bra because all I want to do is take it off.

Amazing depth/projection. All around ... too - at the apex, IMF, top, sides and center. Probably due to the way Panache sews the center seam( (from side to gore instead of from strap to gore) Creates a natural, slightly pointed shape (not the ball round shape of cleo). Surprisingly fairly front and center.

The top lace of the bra is a little loose (lays flat with a deep breath and my shoulders back) and a cup size down would clearly be too small. If you're more FOT than I am or if you have average-tall boobs you probably won't notice this issue.

I'm sorry, I can't write anymore. I have to remove this wolf in sheep's clothing. If you need lots of projection and Panache firm or wide wires don't bother you - this may be a great bra to try. For me, I'll stick with unlined Freya and EM styles.

A very accurate and funny description of Panache wires. 😀

    • 1

When I first started on my bra journey, i'd been wearing cotton wireless bras from Decent Exposure for like 20 years, and discovered I was a 32J. Nothing but Panache really seemed to give me the support I needed, but wow was that a rough transition. I sometimes said I felt like I had hardware strapped to my chest. (actually it turns out that Envy, the first panache I tried, hit me in just the wrong place and was always more painful than my floris)

    • 2

Yikes! I know exactly what you are writing about. No more Panache or Cleo bras for me. Although my ribs are flared and look padded, there is no padding on my ribs. My body HATES Panache wires. Seriously.

    • 2

I have been meaning to post a question about this. I grew, bought bigger cup size bras (not just panache), and some/ most of them DIG into my ribs. I think it is the extra weight of my breasts ? My ribs are also flared, and it feel like the wires are just pressing between 2 ribs to sit on the lower one. Longer post when I have more time....

    • veggiechic Is it all the time or only when slouching? Is the wire staying in your IMF? I have some bras that only slip on one side and cause the problem you mentioned. I do think it is from the weight.

    • veggiechic Or maybe your immediate projection needs changed. Seems like not all bras stay the same as sizes change. For instance, a CHP is not projected enough in my size and slips. Your new bras could be like that.

    • 1

sometimes bending the wires helps. I agree w the slouching thing. I have to re-adjust my bra a fwe times a day. I also have ot do the 'reverse swoop and scoop' because most bras dont have enouhg space for my center fullness. and someone else (I'm sorry i'm so bad w names) started replacing her wires with wires that fit her better - one company came out w wires that are less curved and more flat at the bottom, because many of us dont have curved IMF, but fairly flat ones

    • 3

      It's me!

    • 1

If a bra fits you great it's super easy to change out wires and so cheap! I get mine from Porcelynne and there are a few other places to get them too. I get flat wires because my IMF is flat. I'm wearing a bra right now where I replaced the wires. They used to dig in but now they stay in my IMF with no discomfort.

    • The bras tend to be bearable when I am standing up, but if I sit, I guess that changes my rib shape, and it becomes very uncomfortable. I to end up with red lines/ dents at a specific spot under each breast. If I was looking at a breast like a clock, it would be at the 5 or 7, basically closer to my side. I got some band extenders, which helps there to be less pressure, but my breasts aren't supported as well, and I can pull the band quite far from my body.

    • Yep, I'd have a wardrobe full of Claras if it fit. So pretty! I've always liked the slate, gold and lavender colorways. I've also noticed that dropping 1 or 2 cup sizes had helped me with Panache bras that were previously very uncomfortable on me.

    • I've been looking at this bra for a while and the review is very encouraging.

    • This bra looks beautiful on you. The Panache Clara is soooo gorgeous, I wish it were a very deep plunge, to suit my sternum.

This is my fourth try in this bra. I previously tried 30E - Panache » Cari Moulded Spacer Bra (7961) , but the cups were too small. Then I tried 28FF - Panache » Cari Moulded Spacer Bra (7961) and 32E - Panache » Cari Moulded Spacer Bra (7961) , which fits well, and then I tired this 30F.

Please note that I've been wearing this bra for a while, so the band may be a bit longer (stretched) than a brand new bra. I've gained a bit of weight since buying it, so now I actually wear the 32E more often, but this one ... still fits. I get a touch of boob quadding, but I ignore it.

The cups are spacer foam, straps adjust long (I have them all the way out here), cups are smooth and slip under a tee, band is a bit uncomfortable and scratchy and the bottoms of the front cups due to the lace. The lace flips up a bit.

It makes a nice daily wear kind of bra, which is what I was after. However, I prefer the longer band at this point because of some sensory issues I'm having with tighter scratchy bands.

Overall, great quality, great fit and great appearance.

    Hasn't set fit

I’ve tried this bra on in probably half a dozen sizes and colours over the years. The last time I tried it, it was a 28G which was too tight of a band for me. I initially pulled a 32E in a purple shade and tried it and, as I expected, it was a little bit loose in the band and didn’t offer the proper band/wire tension. So I was brought this one.

Nude is not really my colour but I can do some. This is one of the shades I seem to be ok with. It’s not anything really amazing or special. I definitely preferred the purple. ...

The fit was comparable with the Jasmine of the same size I tried just before this. But this was more visibly shallow at the wire. It’s possible that it would be better if I had a 30FF, but I had already been there trying things in for quite some time, and since it is a taller gore like Jasmine, plus the firmer wires, I opted to skip trying a larger size.

The stretchy upper lace is nice and I love the houndstooth print, but ultimately, it’s not quite the right one for me.

This is a heartbreaker bra. Let me explain.

At the end of 2017, there was an off topic post in my fb group which was a girl asking for DD+ bra help. Some 300 comments later, I find out that I’d only ever known the bare essentials or bare minimum of bra sizing and fitting, and I learn about Reddit A Bra That Fits. Being a Facebook girl more than a Reddit girl, I turned to the Facebook version of the group. In the first few months of 2018, I tried a lot of bras on, did a bunch of fit checks, and figured out what was and ... wasn’t working for me. One of the admins had suggested this bra, in this size for me. I had always wanted to try it, but never got the chance as it was always too expensive, and any listings were just slightly off in size. A little more than a year later, I finally have this bra as it was one of two bras I received from martka00 in a swap.

Let me start with saying that I was 100% aware that this bra might not fit in this size anymore (as I had a growth spurt in late summer of last year), given measurements, but I still opted to try it because it was possible that the stretch lace *might* be a bit more accommodating and because I really had a desire to test the style out at long last. Not to mention, it’s a gorgeous lilac/heather colour, perfect for spring, lightweight/breathable, and just a nice simple lace without fucking bows all over the place. Lol!

The bra is simply stunning. Simple but elegant and classic at the same time. I just *love* the colour, and I think it really suits my skin tone. The lace is lovely, and the upper portion is stretch, with no inner strip (yes!), which is quite boob fluctuations friendly. The lower cup is two parts in my size. Details at the gore are simple...bow and a tiny bead-like shiny thing. The band is a perfect stretch comfort for me, and I have enough room for the straps to adjust. It’s a great U back (leotard back) which I always find to be comfortable and supportive. The gore is nice and low, and there’s this interesting bit where the elastic from the band crisscrosses at the gore. There’s a section of double mesh side support panels on the inside of the cups, with the intent of pushing or encouraging the breasts in a forward and inward shape.

The heartbreak is that it doesn’t fit. IT DOESN’T FIT! 😭 It might *look* like it’s fitting in the photos, but I’m spilling on both sides...the stretch lace is hiding this somewhat and reducing how bad the quadding would be if it wasn’t stretchy on top. The bra is at least half a cup size too small, if not a full cup small. But I’m leery of a 30FF, as I’m not sure how much wider the wires would be. Not to mention, the bra is slightly too shallow, but not horribly shallow, and the classic rock hard we aren’t budging Panache/Cleo wires did bother me a little bit today.

This said, for the time being, I’m still wearing it, but under selective tops...ones I know that are a bit looser on top so they won’t show quad boobs. My pharmacy assistant scrubs fit this category. I’m not sure if I will keep it or list it yet. I do wish it was a little bit bigger. It’s almost perfect.

Yup! Thats a very pretty bra. I love the colour too and the absence of ostentatious bows. Lilac/lavender is so feminine. Ooohhh...and this one has side support! Sweeetttt!!

I appreciate how Panache does the crossed elastic under the inverted v-shaped gore. Krisline does it too. It's great for short-waisted gals.

I have only 1 Panache - the Andora wire-free and I LOVE it and it's in the rotation. I have tried several wired Panaches and I just can't do them. I need FF or G for cup space/projection and then the wires are wrapped around past my armpits. I normally would bend wires, but as you know Panache wires are just too stiff to bend.

BTW - I often think about you when I am trying new bra brands/styles. The first thing I now check is to see if there is a strip at the top of the cup. While I am not convinced that all styles with this would automatically make someone quad (if the fit is perfect it shouldn't happen) but...so far all the Gorsenia, Krisline and Kinga styles that I have tried have it. Gorsenias have the soft clear plastic (so easy to stretch out with warm fingers) but Kinga and KL have actual elastic. I am now waiting on another different Kinga softcup form in stretch lace as well as 2 semi-soft forms which have stretch lace at the top. Of course I will check for the strip and note it in my reviews!

    • 1

This is gorgeous on you. I think it would be worth trying the 30FF.

    • 1

What do you think about the side support? Does it bring things more centred? It looks lovely on you, and I agree... the colour works well with your skin tone. Maybe one day you'll get to try the 30FF.

    • 1

      Thanks everyone!

AprilGoulding ha ha! I do also wonder how the different types of cup strips are with my tissue. I do really like crisscrossing elastic and inverted v section on the band at the gore. It’s a subtle difference but I think that it’s definitely beneficial. And yes, at 5’1 and short waisted, I think that I benefit.

Sonya Wilderness1 I will definitely have to at least try a 30FF in it if I can. There’s a few other similarly coloured bras out there that are also on my radar like CK Lifestyle Plunge, but I admit I am a little nervous about it not being stretch lace. Bravissimo Stella is nice too. As far as I can see, the side support is helpful though I am not fond about seeing it through the sheer lace...it kinda looks weird from the side. I will have to pay more attention to it though. I think on me, it’s a little bit weird as well, because it’s a little bit too small for me. But overall, from my recollection, it is beneficial and helpful.

    • 1

This is a lovely bra and on my virtual must-try in the future list as well. The color is really beautiful and romantic and I agree that a 30FF might fit perfectly, hopefully the wires aren't too wide and the shape is still to your liking. The stretch part seems perfect too to accommodate different fluctuations in sizes.

I really love the look of lots of Panache bras, this one, the Andorra, the Clara... I feel they are so beautiful, but why must their wires be so rock hard like you say!!

    • Thanks braluv ! Yes, romantic is a great way of describing it! They do make some really pretty bras, but the wires are killer sometimes.

I like this bra, but the gore is definitely too high for me! However, the wires and band are soft such as you would expect from a Freya bra.

My shape is: full on top, full of centre, close-set, very narrow and projected, tall roots, pendulous, slightly splayed.

This bra would fit super great if it was not for the gore! It sits on my breast tissue, which causes irritation, discomfort and instability of the wires. The top of the cups works nicely to accommodate my full on top + tall roots, but it can't handle my centre-fullness and it's not quite projected enough for me. I quad near the ... gore. The underwires tend to ride down because of the lack of projection and the non-tacking gore and I find myself nearly constantly pulling them back into my IMF. However the wire width is nearly perfect for me and this is what I like the most about this bra. On days where I spend most of my time standing, it's quite comfy and doesn't irritate me much, but regularly sitting down and standing up makes the underwires move around too much. I don't think I could handle the band to be much tighter so sizing down to 28FF doesn't seem like it would be a good idea.

It gives a very round shape but not extremely lifted, though I do find it very flattering under tightly fitted tops/dresses. The material is quite soft overall, especially the stretch top panel, but I find the mesh to be a bit rough on my skin. The band also rolls on itself under the cups, I don't know if this is due to or aggravated by my fitting issues, but it bothers me.

    • I found I could size down in the cup in this bra due to the stetchiness of the fabric which really helped the gore height, cup width, and support in general as the fabric was taut rather than floppy. I wonder if you could do the same?

    • cupandahalf Absolutely not, unfortunately. I tried the 30E in store before buying the 30F online, and 30E was obviously much too small. Since I have tall roots and FoT breasts, the shape of the cups is ideal for me. I really think the instability is due to the fact that the gore doesn't tack, it lacks projection so my breasts want to push the underwires down, and it's still a smidge too wide for me.

    • Bummer! :(

MY SHAPE: round, projected, even, close set, on the narrow end of average root width.

THE TAKEAWAY: Best for shallower breasts or breasts that don't need much immediate depth. Full cup + stretch lace on top half is quite accommodating and I think would work well for the whole range of vertical fullness. High gore is no bueno for close set busts. Band is stretchy, consider sister sizing down if possible.

DETAILS: Partly because the fit issues in my 30E - Panache » Clara Full Cup Bra (7255) have become much harder to ignore since I've had a slew of really good fits lately, and partly just ... for fun, I decided to size up in the cup and give the Clara another shot in the new AW16 Slate/Teal colorway. My hope with sizing up in the cup is that I might get a smidge more depth and that would alleviate the bottom of the cup wrinkling I get in the 30E. No dice. While I daresay the top of the cup actually looks better (I get a touch of quadboobing in the 30E, but none in the 30F), everything else is all wrong: the wires are about 1/2" too wide, the gore is waaaay too tall and does not play nice with my center fullness, and what's with the fact that my nipples are STILL in the sheer portion of the cup? For real, what's with that?

Clara, you're elegant AF, but you just won't work for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

    • Beautiful! Thanks for sharing about the shallowness. I will avoid this beauty. Sigh. ;-)

Love4Pollinators I was starting to feel bad, I've been posting an avalanche of good fits lately - it was time to post up one that definitely, *definitely* didn't work ;)

    • I have been wanting to buy this as well (red/gold) but I am sure it does not suit me either as I need immediate projection as well. It's a shame as the bra is soooo beautiful :/

    • such a beautiful bra. It's been tempting. Thanks to your review I know this would never work for me.

    • Primula I know, this particular colorway is so gorgeous too :( I wish it was more accommodating for projected shapes!

The first time I tried Olivia - in the upcoming cobalt colorway - I knew I had to own one...so I immediately grab a 30F deep jade!
However, I'm experiencing some issues with the stretch of the bottom of the right cup, if anyone has any tips to solve this, I'm all ears!

Without further go, here's the full review: http://www.myfashioninsiderblog.com/2016/04/lingerie-panache-olivia-30f-review.html

I ADORE that color! I just can't justify buying more bras right now.... :'(

Hi, i am such a huge fan of balconnet bras, these styles suit my shape the best. This bra is such a nice color and so flattering. It really gives a wonderful shape to the breasts, very natural.
This bra really looks to fit you perfectly and looks lovely on you. I dont think you could do any better, Maybe your right breast is a little smaller than your left. I know mine are slightly different in size. The wrinkling in the cup is hardly noticeable. Am so happy for you finding such a great bra that fits and is comfy.

    • 1

I love the colour, it reminds me of the night sky! The shape and style really suits you so I wouldn't worry aboutvthe wrinkling, it's not much and it's barely noticeable

This is a basic balconette bra. It's a bit different from others I've tried since there's an additional side section on the cup which goes from the bottom of the cup to the strap. I think it's supposed to help push the breasts forward, but for me I think it made me look smaller, I'm not too sure.

Also, unlike my other bras, the bottom band elastic criss crosses at the centre front. I don't know how much difference this makes in terms of comfort or stability, but I just wanted to point that out.
(please see the photos of the 30E bra)

Overall, this bra is comfortable, but I wasn't too fond of the shape it gave me. It was kind of pointy.

  15. Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675)

This bra is pretty for something I would consider a basic everyday bra. The cups are made of a nice soft lace with a reinforced bottom panels and an inner side panel to help push the breasts forward I guess. It gives a really nice natural shape.

The bra fits really nicely as well. It's a full cup, so I don't have that cutting in issue I generally have with some of my other bras.

I actually bought the 30E first, but when I pulled my elbows back I was bulging at the top, but not too much. The 30E also gave me a ... pointier shape. I wasn't sure if this size would be too big, but it turned out to be just slightly bigger and it worked for me.

Edit: After wearing this bra all day and to the club, I'm finding the centre wires are really poking into my chest. I'm assuming it's because I have wide breasts or it's just the style of the bra. Anyway, it's just something to keep in mind.

Edit2: I just wanted to update my review again since I've been wearing this bra for a while now. I have to say it is my favourite bra and if the style becomes discontinued I will cry. I still have the problem with the centre gore poking after a long day, but it's not as bad now. If you generally have a problem with the cups cutting into you, I don't think you will with this one. The soft lace stretches to your shape which I think is great.

    Didn't fit

Cups too small : ( Band is good though.

I guess today I am a 30FF, or possibly even 30G, it's hard to tell.

This was part of my amazon order. Perhaps I'm having a big boob day today; it's hard to tell b/c my weight fluctuates.

Edit: 3-24-21, I just read on the ABTF Facebook Page that Panache Jasmine has shallow cups?? Interesting...Perhaps that's why the cups looked horrible on my shape, the 32E Panache Jasmine cups were better, honestly, although it was a different colour (black) but it should be the same cup size as 30F Panache Jasmine in Caramel, but the 30F in Caramel seemed to ... fit much worse in the cups. So much so that I didn't even want to post pictures! The cups didn't fit at all, and it was *not* flattering on my shape!

So, I'm not sure why the cups seemed to fit so much worse in the Caramel Jasmine 30F vs the Black Jasmine 32E, they should've been the same cups size, amiright? They were both too small, but maybe the Caramel one just looked worse b/c of the colour, idk. End of rant...

Regarding the projection of the Jasmine, I believe it’s more that the Jasmine is known to have lots of APEX projection (projection at the deepest part of the bra). But it doesn’t have good IMMEDIATE projection (projection at the bottom wire). I think this is why there’s lots of contrasting comments about it’s fit — i.e. some people find it great for projection whilst others find it shallow. How great it is for you is dependent on where you need the projection.

People often don’t specify ‘where’ when talking about projection in bras. That’s what I realised when I was confused about why bras people were calling “great for projection “ didn’t work for me: because I need lots of immediate projection.

    • 1

Rozelyna , ohhhh, I see....the plot thickens and my bra fitting adventure gets even more complicated...

I guess I'm going to hold off in trying to find my perfect fit in the Jasmine a.t.m.; I'm supposed to be getting some Comexims in the mail tomorrow that I ordered from Breakout Bras - it takes a little while for bras to arrive b/c I'm located in Canada. So, figures crossed I can find a bra with more immediate projection.

But tackling Comexim sizing seems to be a whole other ball of wax...lol. We'll see how it goes (not that you asked!)

Thanks for the feedback!! : )

    • 1

Rozelyna , but thanks!! This bra looked *so bad* on me...and I was just trying to figure out why - you made me feel much better!

      I don't have my PhD in Bra Science yet.../s. Lol. : )

    • 1

I hope you do find bras with more immediate projection and that your Comexims fit! I haven’t managed to get my head around Comexim sizing yet and get a good fit in one.

And don’t worry, Jasmine is way too shallow at the bottom wire for me too — even when I sister size up in the band.

    Bratabase index sizes: 30:5, 30:6, 32:5, 32:6
Shape: narrow roots, fuller on bottom, fairly soft tissue, right boob has more immediate projection, fairly projected, very close set. I'm tall, and often have issues with straps being too short

I got this a while ago from a Breakout Bras mystery 4 bras grab bag. At the time, I measured closer to 30F, and it was a little too big for me in the cups.

This bra works pretty well for me. The band runs fairly small, as I prefer a 28, but this is 30 ... and works alright. For British bras, this gets closer to Polish proportions than most I've tried- the cups are quite deep compared to the width, and it has the right amount of overall projection and immediate projection for my left boob. Unfortunately, my right boob has more immediate projection, and as a result the wire gets pushed down a bit on that side. This causes the top of the right cup to wrinkle. If I adjust the wire back up, the cup fits well on that side too, but it will shift back down.

The wires are too wide for me, and it would be best if it was about an inch narrower, but even a half inch would be a huge improvement. Still, as a person who regularly has too wide wires, these are not nearly as uncomfortable as some are. They go too far back, but do not poke or dig in.

The gore is pretty narrow, and works well for my close set breasts. However, I could see it as being a problem for others as it does come up a fair bit higher than a plunge would, and the lower part of the gore is more separated than the upper part.

The quality is either good or excellent, I haven't worn it enough to say for sure. I'll give excellent for now and if issues arise, drop down to good.

Comfort is pretty good as well. My only complaint is the lace can be itchy in general, and as someone who has eczema year round, and sometimes nipple eczema during flareups, I cannot imagine this being wearable then.

Appearance is not my style. There's nothing wrong with it, but it is transparent lace and many would probably prefer it for the bedroom. I, however, am asexual, and am just looking for a comfortable bra to wear under everyday clothes. The colorway I have is black lace with a little bit of blue solid fabric as side support and along the gore and the band on the front. It's a nice design, but not for me.

Overall, I'd recommend giving this a try before going Polish. If you are a 28 band, you may be able to wear the 30. If you are in between bands, I'd recommend the bigger one. The cups have a lot of depth, so you may need a cup down from normal. If you have a shallow shape, I would not recommend this bra.

    Hasn't set fit

I’ve already had a bra in the same size as this, but opted to try it again. It’s a really nice print - black with a subtle pattern (paisley flower is the description).

This one felt a bit snug, possibly looser after a few wears and washes to get the starch out, and the cups almost felt too small. My nipples were sitting a little bit higher than the apex of the cups and it was fairly low coverage on me. That said, a size up might compromise the shape I’m getting from this since I have shallow upper fullness. The stretchy upper is definitely nice and accommodating. It’s still not an uber round shape on me, but better than I used to get in it.

Ultimately, the wires are still hard and the gore is tall. It’s a beautiful bra and something I want to like because it’s always in cut styles. If the gore was a little bit lower, I could probably make do with the firmer wires.

The band is tight enough for used 30, but I'd be more happy with 28 band. The cups are true to size, but not very projected at the bottom. Upper part of the cups is made of very thin and stretchy lace, so it accommodates perfectly to my breast shape. It's very comfy if you have some weight fluctuations or other size changes. The shape is not perfectly round, it's closer to natural. I like the color and nice lace, but the gore is too high.

I love this bra dearly and cannot understand why Panache decided to discontinue it after 2 seasons (or so it seems to me, having not seen it in previews for aw16 and ss17). It looks gorgeous, it's incredibly comfortable, and gives a very pleasant shape - round, but not to the extent of the Cleo orbs.

The band is true to size, stretching to 30in, and the gore tacks perfectly. I like the gothic arch band construction. I'm no expert, but it feels like it gives additional support, and looking nice doesn't hurt either. The projection at the bottom of the cups is ample for me, but I'm not ... FOB. I've read in some reviews that the cups are closed on top, but they don't strike me as such. The upper section of the cup lies perfectly flat, even though my roots are somewhat long. Also, I really appreciate the soft mesh fold-over cup edges, as it stays really flat agains the breast, flatter than lace edges tend to. The cups are quite low-coverage on me, having a true balconette shape.

The colour contrast between dusty rose pink and charcoal is great, and all the fabrics look upscale. There's quite a bit of wrinkling on the cups, but I believe its only the outer, stiff mesh, rather than the cup as a whole. The centre bow is the only ornament, and it's small and understated, which works perfectly. The fully adjustable straps are extra comfortable, with soft lining.

If only Panache released more colourways, I could wear Georgia and nothing else.
