It was purple, it was Fauve... I absolutely had to have it. The color isn't coming across well in photos, but it is a gorgeous, regal royal purple with black lace and a black crystal charm at the center gore. Altered to a 30FF just like my Topaz Veronique; both fit identically.

This review is based on trying this bra only briefly. Ultimately I decided to return it, as the gore seemed much higher on this particular model than on the other Fauve halfcups I own, at the same time that there was also less center projection. Also, I didn't care for this shade of dark pink (it looked more fuchsia in the stock pictures), however it's very reminiscent of Sleeping Beauty with the pale pink and bright green floral embroidery! The shape was quite flattering and very reminiscent of Cleo, lifted and very "green."

Fauve, so high quality materials and construction; sophisticated aesthetic. The Sunset colorway is achieved with top stitching of pale rose pink anchored by bottom stitching of deep rose. The all-over brocade-type embroidery does not show under regular knits. The wires are a little too wide for my narrow girls but not in a bad way, they do not go out too far or poke under the arms. Band is TTS and very firm. Straps are only 1/2 adjustable, padded for comfort and textured for anti-slip. Trim along the top of cup, bottom of band all the way around and 1/2 way up the straps is perfectly color-coordinated and ... doesn't show through. Double and tastefully restrained pink & black bows in all the usual places.The half cup is 3 part, lightly padded and plenty deep enough for my crazy immediate projection (although this may be helped by the slightly wide wires) and gives terrific lift, centering and cleavage with a nice natural rounded shape; also fairly tall so I feel more 'collected' than some lower half cups (actually feels more like a balcony). Lined in a silky poly and the wires are covered in a soft french terry, as is the clasp. Comfort, comfort, comfort! What I love about Fauve is the details. For example, the top of the gore is sewn at an angle, not straight across, because the cups come out at an angle - duh! Also there is a 1/2 or so in the wire channel. I have 3 Emmanuelles now, and they are all a joy to wear.

I purchased Veronique in the Topaz and Grape colorways, both in a distant sister size and very inexpensively off of Ebay, having been in love with the style but unable to find my normal 30FF. It actually made it easier to alter the band having so much to take in, and I also went ahead and shortened the straps approximately an inch or so.

My experience with these bras has really confirmed my absolute love for Fauve halfcups! The shape this bra gives is pretty much my perfect ideal... it's beautifully round, slightly minimized and yet simultaneously pushed up, somehow. The wires are wider than I usually wear, ... but they're remarkably comfortable and not problematic whatsoever. The cups are marginally more closed in on top than my Annalise, but they're still accommodating to my even shape. The aesthetic is incomprehensibly lovely with the corset-tie band detail, scallops of antique-looking lace and sparkling teardrop charm. I love that Fauve's designs include lots of periodic, classically elegant finishes in a way that is gorgeous and mature but still a little sexy. It's the perfect balance! I will say that the lace and vertical seams definitely show through thin shirts... it's most definitely not a t-shirt bra.

The topaz colorway in particular makes me think of Venice... maybe I'm extrapolating too much for a bra, but when I look at it I can't help but think of deep aquamarine waterways and rustic European details https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Just so gorgeous!

Unfortunately, the band on this bra runs large. Which is really bad news for my 27" underbust.

The Mia is a single vertical seam half cup/plunge hybrid. The cups are wide, shallow, and very open on top. The straps are not fully adjustable and also not too difficult to adjust, despite the edge decorations. The gore is quite low, and the cup separation is about average.

The gore also boasts the biggest bow I've ever seen on a bra. It's three inches long. It's pretty, but honestly the length is rather ridiculous. It doesn't get in the way though, nor is it uncomfortable.

The wings on the bra are very ... high. They aren't uncomfortable, but I think overall I prefer lower wings.

The padding on the cups is quite stiff and holds its shape rather well. It's pretty shallow on the outside, but the high wings shouldn't have any problems holding breast tissue in. It's not necessary for me, as I have very little outer fullness.

The cups fit me pretty well. They're almost perfect, but there's a tiny bit of gaping on my right breast, which is slightly smaller. Unforunately, I don't get any lift in this bra. I was hoping for a repeat of my 30D - Fauve » Celine Padded Half Cup (0111) . Too bad.

The straps are pretty soft and decently stretchy. They do adjust short enough for me, but only just barely. I'd prefer fully adjustable straps, but this is acceptable. Strap width is about average for a half cup in this size range.

Other details: the lace embroidery on the cups looks flowery. The hooks are the wide kind at 3/4" apart. This bra doesn't feel especially plushy, but it's well made and quite comfortable, not at all scratchy.

Really, it's a shame about that band. Even on the tightest hooks, it rides up in the back. I'd be wearing it already if I didn't need to alter it first. I really like this bra.

Update: I sewed some elastic onto the band, and wow, I do get a bit of lift in the cups! Interestingly, I almost get quadboob/fall out of the cups when I bend over. It doesn't happen when I stand up, because my breasts take a different shape when I bend over versus when I'm standing up straight. Now that the band fits, this bra is a great fit for me.

I got this bra with 1 cm shortened band which is tight but okay for me since the original form was always okay but slightly loose. For every day use I had to bend the wires at the center gore away from my body, no its really comfy and I like the shape too. The pattern is almost invisible unter clothes. The cups are also quite low cut which helps me to wear a little bit of cleavage.
I needed ages to get this bra since there was always the blue one on my whishlist which I couldn't find and a swap made me the happy owner of this one. Compared to ll the other fauce Halfcups I tried this one needs much less volume on the side and is therefore smaller.

I was thrilled to come across an Annalise in my size recently... Fauve was discontinued just as I was discovering correct bra fitting, and I will forever lament not getting to try the brand earlier, because their designs were so incredibly elegant and lovely. I have to say, the quality of construction and attention to detail in this bra is exceptional and really lives up to Fauve's reputation. The base is a grey-lavender floral overlaid with the most delicate layer of transparent mesh, topped with ivory ribbons and lace lining the vertical seams. A teardrop pearl charm adorns the center gore, and little picot trim lines the entirety ... of the band and straps, which is a detail I especially appreciate, because many bra manufacturers create bras with pretty decorated fronts but sadly leave the backs entirely plain. Annalise is an absolutely gorgeous half cup with a very feminine, almost Victorian "shabby-chic" look to it, and I find the find the color scheme flattering against my pale winter skin!

The fit is quite excellent... in particular I'm surprised by the amount of depth in this bra, which I haven't found to be the case in other British half cups such as Freya's. The gore tacks, the band is true to size, and the very open top leaves plenty of room to accommodate upper and inner fullness. The shape is spectacular, round and uplifted but slightly minimized, very "purple," while the neckline creates phenomenal soft hills cleavage appropriate for everyday. The inner lining is very soft and comfortable. The wings of the bra are relatively low and non irritating, with a matching strip of lace behind the underwire also. The wires are noticeably a bit wider than my IMF, however they don't create a large empty pocket, compromise support or bother me at all.

That is a really posh looking bra! I think is the most elegant bra that I ever owned. The details of Bronte are so nice. I own this bra in 3 colours - silver, jade and pistchacio - just orange is missing! The colours - pistachio with cream lace makes it so good. The band runs good, tighter than other fauve that ive tried. Its comfortable but not the most - after couple of hours wires are slightly noticeable. But it doesn't matter for me as i love appearance of this beauty!

I love this beige/black colour combo and the light padding. Cups are not too tall, no arm shafing there. Band is the comfy strong mesh on this one, not too tight, but I can still wear it on the loosest hook Elegant wide straps - lovely detailing there.
This bra does not offer enough side support for me and is a tiny bit small on my bigger side. Having a full cup size difference between my two breasts doesn't help. I would like a narrower cup with a firmer construction, I think.

OMG what a beautiful bra! Just came with the mail this morning - swapped with a friend who just started the bra journey. The good news - my bra fits her. Bad news: this beauty is too small for me in the cups. From the pics it looked like the depth would be enough, but there's still about half a cup space needed for a decent fit. Fits OK on my smaller side, but really quadding on the bigger. Sigh...
I can't get over the beauty of this one. Lightly padded narrow and deep 3 piece vertical seam cups, open on top, allowing upper fullness. ... Cup material is mesh with lovely gentle detailing, band is strong mesh, very high quality finish. The band is a 32, but has little stretch, so works fine on the middle hook. Wires are quite firm, which is no surprise with Fauve . I really love the fact that the cups are deep and padding very light and thin. Goes straight to listings, otherwise I'll just end up keeping yet another beautiful non fitting bra...

Simply beautiful. I usually wear a 30D, but this one only came in a 32B and I just had to try...I knew it probably wouldn't, but it breaks my heart that it didn't fit. It's true to size and well-made overall, though it arrived with some flyaway threads from the embroidery on the front of the cups. Will have to sell this one; it deserves better than just sitting in a drawer.

That is a really posh looking bra! I think is the most elegant bra that I ever owned. The details of Bronte are so nice. The colours - silver with cream lace makes it so good. Also works well under white clothes. Its comfortable but not the most - after couple of hours wires are slightly noticeable. Also the quality of the materials is not the first class, as on the band where are the hooks, it has some bobbling - i haven't used it a lot, and was always hand washed. But at the end it doesn't matter for me as i love appearance of this beauty! Im thinking to buy in Olive colour as well.

Im having this bra for few months now. Its really comfortable - I'm using it mainly under my uniform at work as its dark, but also is not tight, so wearing it for 12-13h per day is fine. I love the colour, is something between blue and green. Unfortunately the band is quite big, but in 30s doesn't feel right on me - ill have to alter it soon (or my mom will do https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />). Its really elegant. Definitely worth to try it.

guys, this bra. this bra! its the most gorgeous thing i have ever put on my body, and even if it fit terribly i would love it forever and never let it go. its BEAUTIFUL. i'd been lusting after the Coco for ages, and im so happy i finally took the plunge! pale green satin, creamy lace, pearls and bows and hnnnggg i want all of them forever! why did fauve have to be discontinued?! im going to be scouring ebay for them, especially the pale pink version.

the fit itself isnt too bad actually, though its not perfect. i bought a 34F, since 34FF ... was out of stock, and im never sure what size i am anymore anyway. i was also pretty sure the cups ran a bit deeper, and since all my fullness is on the bottom anyway, i thought sizing down would at worst make me look more pushed up. it feels like the depth and width of the cups are good, though i would love if the sides were higher and contained more of my tissue. i actually get a little bit of gaping along the top edge, but that happens with nearly every bra, because of the lack of upper fullness. its annoying, and bugs me when i move, but at this point ive been wearing freya halfcups nearly 24/7 and they gape way worse, so i can deal. the gore is a bit too wide, but i run into that everywhere, especially half cups (and again- not nearly as bad as the freyas!). from my cursory try on, the straps dont feel too wide, and they arent a scratchy material. the band is just the tiniest bit snug, but i expected that from fauve and a single hook on the extender is perfect.

all in all, i think i will be keeping this one around! its too pretty for me to want to ruin by wearing to work, but itll hopefully get some use on my free time. and if im lucky, i will collect them all!

im so disappointed by how this bra fits https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> i searched for it for ages, and took a chance on it because even though there was (at the time) no info on this size, i thought it could be my holy grail bra (need more unpadded half cups!!), but it sadly isnt. im never sure what size i am anymore, and all i could find was a 34F, so i decided to try it and see if it would be alright. although the measurements all point to a good fit, i think its the shape that is an issue.

the wires are nice ... and narrow, so those are great! the band is good for me on the first set of hooks, and i could probably wear it on the second set right away, but im going to return it so i didn't think it wise to really test the band too much. its not a thin material like freya half cup bands, its a sturdy and thick kind. so while it goes to 35 inches, it doesnt feel flimsy or like its too loose. i feel like, with this kind of material, it anchors better and isnt as prone to stretch out a ton.

the straps are wide set, but dont appear to be so wide set that i would hate them. again, im not going to be able to wear it for more than this try on, so i dont actually know how they would function in real wear. they seem a bit shorter than straps like freya, as ive got maybe 2 more inches left to extend them before im out of room, an don my freya straps im usually in the opposite boat, where i constantly shorten them a ton.

i wasn't sure how to mark the cup fit, since the extra space i have isnt so much on the upper edge, but inside the cup at the apex. on my smaller side i do have some small amount of loose area at the top, but that kind of comes with the territory. its just a bit loose on the top half of the larger left side, mainly a pucker right at the gore. in both cups, i have extra space at the apex, and im not sure if that's because of my nipple placement (ive always suspected they are lower than average as i often have apex issues) or if the bra is simply too deep there. either way, the wrinkling is annoying and the slight looseness of the upper cup makes me feel much less supported. the shape of the bra also seems to make me look very pointy and east-west, sort of how my breasts naturally look when unsupported. i dont like that splayed look at all. i fill the bottom of the cup plenty, but i dont feel very lifted or shaped by this bra :/

the gore seems like its too wide for me. the base of it especially seems really seprate, and im pretty sure i have a center full shape, so im unsure if that is part of the odd shape problem i get with this bra. its not too high, and the wires height at the armpits seem okay.
