Chloe balcony is classy, luxurious, yet quite tough and sturdy in the elegant sense. Fauve doesn't generally do tight bands, which is true here as well - on skinny days I need to go for the middle hook. Pretty hard wires that need breaking in. It lifts and gives a centered shape, but not as round as Cleo does - natural lifted teardrops. Love, love, love the shape it creates under clothes. That said, the embroidery is a bit bumpy, shows under thin blouses.
All great, just the hard wires need getting used to and/or breaking in. This bra gives me the shape my breasts had when I was about 18 - jeeeeaaaaahh!

  2. Aurelia Padded Half Cup Bra (0191)

This could be the epitome of a bedroom bra! The decollete-baring half cup is all cakes on a plate, heaving bosom stuff. Add purple satin, lace net overlay, abundant embroidery in shades of rose and red; I like to imagine this bra in candlelight... The rich embroidery detail is repeated at the straps and back clasp. Its a stunner. The luxurious quality is all Fauve, too: attention to detail and comfort. Very soft felt along the straps, band and wires; lightly padded cups lined in a smooth satiny fabric. The wires are wide to average, the band is quite stretchy (I had it on the tightest hooks), and the gore is low but narrow. Straps adjust almost all the way and are firm, giving good support, but I think they are fairly wide-set. Fauve has 2 cuts for their half cups, and while many fit me perfectly in a 32F, the Coco cut does not, it is too shallow for my immediate projection and also closed a bit up top. I wonder if Aurelia is cut more like Coco?

Pretty bra, bright red with a netted overlay with a floral design.

Moulded plunge, actually very similar to Freya Deco in fit & shape. However, this Evangeline 30GG runs a bit bigger (and / or less shallow) than my Decos in 30GG. As you can see there's some gaping near the centre on my smaller breast. On the other hand, the band is somewhat tighter. So good news for those who are sized out of Deco? You could say this fits like a 30H or possibly 28HH Deco.

Wires are firm and sadly quite uncomfortable on me. They painfully poke my ribs and I'm not sure if this will improve with time. Also, while pretty, the netted overlay seems prone to snatch on things.

Such a pretty design ๐Ÿ’• gorgeous detailing and a non-standard dusky shade of pink.
This could be in the 'Disney princess' collection, then it should've been called Aurora!

Sister sized to a 32G because this beauty was on sale: Sadly it's too small for me.
My most common size is a 30GG but I've been leaning towards 30H. This 32 band is pretty loose (seems common for Fauve, Fantasie & Freya). Cups seem small for a 32G, or at least quite shallow! Gore doesn't tack in the least, lots of bulging and quad. Wanted to make it work but I can't ignore these issues.

Anyway it's been sleeping in my drawer for a while now, tags still attached. So unless I loose a lot of weight and go down 1 or 2 sizes, I may have to let it go.

  5. Chloe Vertical Seam Bra (0311)

Oh, what a disappointment. The Chloe is a sister cut to the Freya Starlet Vertical Seam Bra (1061) , but it has deeper cups and doesn't fit my shallow breasts very well. It seems to expect more upper projection than I have. It's quite open on top and the top edge of the cup lies flat against me. Right below that, though, is sad empty cup.

The sides of the cup are very shallow, and actually leave a bit of an odd dent in my breasts that clearly delineates where the tension in the cup ends from being held up by the straps. I wonder if ... this isn't due to poor scaling or just the pitfalls of an unlined bra on shallow breasts. It does seem to have a lot of projection near the gore, so I would say that this bra aims to have breasts pushed front and center like other Fauve half cups. Unfortunately, it seems better suited to tall, even breasts that are narrow and projected.

The band runs big, which is not unexpected, but the cups seem to run big too. The wires are narrow, like the other Fauve bras I have. Unlike those, the wires on the Chloe are hard, and thus are truly actually narrow rather than functionally wide. Unlike the Starlet in its sister size, the wires were not uncomfortable. In fact, even with my close set breasts that mean all gores sit a little on breast tissue, the gore was quite comfortable.

The fabric on the bra is quite nice. The band and straps are quite soft. The cups are made of a non-stretchy mesh overlaid with embroidery. It's much more pleasant than the fabric used in the Starlet. I wasn't sure if my Chloe was electric blue or peacock blue, as it was listed merely as "blue," but the model number on the tag ends with "ele" so I assumed that it was the electric blue. Certainly it's the deepest electric blue I've seen. It's a beautiful shade of blue, so I was glad it wasn't more like the Starlet electric blue, which is much, much brighter.

I've bent the wires out some so that the cup width is around 4.75 inches. It improved the fit minimally, but also made quite clear that this is ultimately a case of shape mismatch.

i jsut got this bra, but so far i think it might work alright. the band is snug but not too tight, the cup width seems okay, and its super friggin cute .appearance wise, its a gorgeous deep green with roses embroidered on it. they even continue onto the straps! the bow at the center has a small gem at the end of each tail, something ive never seen before. fit wise i have a few issues, but i have those with pretty much any bra, so at this point i think its time to settle.

the right cup gapes quite a bit along the top, especially when moving ... around, which drives me a little nuts. it happens in almost every bra though, especially stiff cups, because thats the smaller side. i get a little gaping on the L side too,but more towards the strap connection, so its not terribly obvious when wearing clothes. the gore also wont lay completely flat, it sits up just a smidge off my sternum. when i push it down i get just a little bit of quadboobing near the veeeeery center, but nowhere else. the straps are a bit too wide (halfcups, ugh), so im not sure if i will be able to deal with those, but time will tell!

Very romantic bra. Looks really nice, although I'm more FOB so the top is fine for the first 10 min. Although very comfy to wear. Also, the 1 vertical seam seems to not work. The plunge version is perfect for me.

This bra is so beautiful, that I am actually thinking about shortening the band. I can smetimes get away with 32 bands, but this is definitely too big. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I'm guessing the rest would be OK, possibly a tad small on one side. Won't really know the fit until I get the band sorted.

im so sad this bra doesn't fit! D: its seriously one of the most beautiful bras i have ever seen! there's all this luscious lace on the cups int he most beautiful slightly shiny blue and copper that sort of ombre's together, and the trim on the cups and band is gorgeous. its reminds me of baroque styled things and i love it so hard. plus, the band is made of this lovely, thick elastic that i want all my bras to be made out of. unfortunately the straps are just way too short, something ive never run into before. i also think the cups are a bit ... too small, which isnt surprising since ive been wearing 34FFs or 32Gs most of the time. i thought i'd try a a smaller size since ive had such gaping, and the depth seemed close to some other bras, but i quad a bit and would probably pop out even if i could wear it with the straps longer. the wires are a good width for me though, so if it were just an inch deeper i think i would be in the clear! maybe i will try a 32G and it will also have longer straps.

This bra is beautiful, and basically everything I could wish for in terms of color. Olive green cups with black roses and white detailing. The only way it could be better is if the detailing were done in silver instead.

I could not find this bra in this colorway in 30D anywhere and thus settled for 32C, two sister sizes away from my preferred size. I knew I would have to alter the band down, and I was fine with that. Unfortunately, it turns out this bra not only runs large in the band but in the cups as well.

The band is 28 inches unstretched, which meant that ... I couldn't wear it even on the tightest hook. No problem. I folded the band over at the hooks and reduced the unstretched band to about 24 inches, more in line with my 30D - Fauve ยป Celine Padded Half Cup (0111) . The band fit great at that point. But a well-fitting band showed that, well, it wasn't just the large band affecting the fit of the cups. The cups themselves had just a bit too much projection, resulting in gaps along the top of the cup. I can get rid of most of the gaps by tightening the straps like whoa, but that resulted in red indents on my shoulders after a day of wear, so I loosened them a bit and dealt with the small gaps. You can't see them under a shirt anyway.

The Dali isn't as plush as the Celine, but it's still quite comfortable. The wires are soft and bend easily. The gore is fairly low, so it doesn't bother me. The straps are quite difficult to adjust due to the loopy edge decorations.

The cups feel like they're quite shallow on the side and bottom, similar to the Celine, but as it runs large, it doesn't do much for me. Going down a cup would probably improve things a lot, and probably squish me enough to get cleavage. But 32B in green doesn't seem to exist any more than 30D, at least on ebay. Too bad.

Overall, this is a good bra for wide, shallow, tall-rooted breasts. The band runs large but not as large as Freya bands, thankfully.

Update 2: THIS BRA FITS ME! Sort of. For now, it's better than most of my other bras.

I used a seam ripper to remove the hooks and eyes, snipped about 1" of fabric from each side of the band, and sewed the hooks and eyes back on.

I tried it on again and it was magical. I filled the cups completely! The bra pushes everything front and center and has the perfect amount of projection.

The only problem: the cups are a little too wide on me. The wire marks are about 0.5" beyond my boobs on the sides. However, because the cups are technically deeper than my actual boobs, ... they don't flatten me at all, so I am okay with wearing this bra.

Oh, and the foam lining? Yeah, I cut that out. It's summer and I just could not with the extra thick layer. I was also curious about how much forward-ness and projection was coming from the foam, and as it turns out, none of it! This makes me feel even better about this bra. I think it is prettier this way too, the embroidery stands out more.

    .......................................

Update: I have been unhappy with the fit of many of my bras so I pulled this out and tried it on again. If I pull the band tight enough to fit correctly (way beyond any hooks), the cups area actually quite good too. I canceled the listing and plan to chop the band soon.

    ........................................

I bought this bra deeply discounted because it has been discontinued. The original retail was $120! Bratabase had an estimated measurement within my range so I had to try this. Unfortunately it does not fit me and is not returnable so I am looking to sell it.

    Pros:
This bra is beautiful and comfortable. It has no scratchy or pokey bits and feels soft when worn. The embroidery is done with glossy/shiny thread and the deep blue color is contrasted by pinkish taupe details. It is lightly lined with soft, flexible foam and has no push-up style padding.

    Cons:
The only con is that it doesn't fit me! It is about an inch more projected than I need. Boo. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

    Fit:
This would be a great bra for someone who needs projection near the gore. I would say that it measures as narrowish and projected, true to size. If this came in a 28D I'll bet it would fit me. The band is true to size or maybe a tad loose/stretchy, definitely not a tight 30.

Think this is the most expensive bra I've ever bought... I was totally head over heels in LOVE with the appearance and waited for it to be (sort of) on sale. Still, as I hardly ever wear it, perhaps it wasn't worth the money https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

The longline looks great, but the band flips up on me. As long as I'm standing it's mostly ok, but sitting down it immediately rolls and flips and digs. The band is a bit large but I can't get it to stay in place. Think my body shape does not easily agree with longlines? I have similar issues ... with Freya Flourish.. Taking in the band would only make it less comfy I'm afraid (causing digging into my tummy?). Read some other reviews of people trying to add boning - might try that as well, as this precious gem is too gorgeous to let go!

Definitely more of a special occasion bra than an every day bra.
As for size & fit, I'm around 30GG (Deco) and 30H. So I guess this runs regular-to-large the cup, while being shallow-ish and open on top. Best for FOT shapes.

I'm pretty sure that the bra I bought is a defective/seconds bra. The tag says 30B but the band length is 28.25" unstretched and 34" stretched. Which means instead of a 30 band, my bra has a 34 band instead. Since my loose underbust is 27", it pretty much hangs off my body. Useless even as a nipple cover since it rides up so much.. I definitely plan on altering the band down since the cups seem to fit OK if I hold them to my body. Also, the wires are really flexible. Otherwise, the material feels nice to the touch.

So if you're looking at the ... NWOT 30b Isobel Plunge in the marshmallow colourway listing on Ebay, don't buy it unless you're willing to do band alterations.

Edit: So I've chopped off almost 8" off of the band and it fits better now! Now it's more like a 28. Cups are shallow and seem to run true-to-size, so it's slightly too small for me. However, the cups are open so I get some Regency cleavage instead of cutting in. The strap placement were off due to the band alteration so I ended up moving in the straps at the back. The closure is now a two-hook one instead of one-hook.

This bra is beautifully made and fits my shallow heavy-on-bottom breasts really well! The main issue I'm having with the 30E is that the wire doesn't actually extend the entire length of the wire channel--there's a full inch between the end of the wire and the end of the fabric. This makes the wire extremely uncomfortable on the sides if the wire isn't pushed all the way to the armpits, or uncomfortable in the middle if the wire isn't pushed all the way to the inside. I'm not sure if this is just a problem with the single bra I received or a general problem with this model.

This bra is really pretty, but the band is way stretchier than I thought it would be, the cups are too big (should have known better), and the seams are really raised. I can't imagine being able to wear this under anything without show-through. The wires were nice and wide though-- I think a 30F or 28FF (if they made them) would have fit.
