As I am listing and measuring my bras, I've come to a conclusion that my breasts must have definitely grown in the last few years. I did not expect that, as I gained no weight. This Fauve, like the others. is a beautiful bra. The band is a bit stretchy. Cannot really talk about the fit, as it never really fit me well (Fauve doesn't go above GG cup).

A beautiful bra with delicate embroidery, as expected from Fauve.
Band quite stretchy, much more so than some other Fauves I have.

This review is for the black/nude colourway.

I have mixed feelings about this bra.
Material is beautiful but not very soft. I had to take off my 65K - Comexim » Scarlet Biustonosz (291) in order to try this one on, and the contrast in the softness of material was rather sharp. I'd have expected better from a brand like Fauve, even if I bargained this bra on eBay.

The band is one of the loosest 30 I have ever tried, even looser than Freya. The gore is way too wide for my breasts (all non-plunge non-Polish gores are), but for some reason it doesn't really ... bother me in this bra. I think the looseness of the band helps the too-wide gore not to press too hard on the breast tissue it rests on.

The textured straps are sturdy and fully adjustable. Wires are a little too wide but not unbearably so. Cup volume is sufficient, and the cup shape is pointy - but it's the cute and retro type of pointy, not the annoying silly pointy, so I don't mind.

I'm debating on whether to keep this bra. The only real reason to do so is its unquestionable beauty. Hmmm.

I bought this bra because I found it on sale for cheap, I like half-cups, and I know Fauve and Masquerade bras are comfy.

It doesn't fit me properly in the least: it's too shallow and small for me in this cup volume, the gore doesn't tack, and the band is very slightly too stretchy for me, even on the tightest setting, because I wear a 30 band.

But it sure is pretty!

Fauve bras are just too loose/stretchy for me. I really wish they made 28 band because the ones I have tried in this brand are amazingly comfortable and quite beautiful. I kept a 30E - Fauve » Delphine Padded Half Cup Bra (0381) for those days when I need a bit looser fit, but I am sad to be sending this one back. It is lovely and so very soft. The cups are wide and have a flattening effect on me, but technically I would say the bra fits.

I would say this fits currently on the middle hook. I guess Fauve bands run big, so a 28 band would be better for me. They aren't making Fauve any longer, so I guess is doesn't much matter! This is a really gorgeous bra. I will keep it and just use middle and inside hooks.

I altered the band down so the size is now technically 28F.

The cups are not the best shape for me, there is some empty fabric in the center, near the gore. Other that that the cups are ok, even the wires are wide enough for me. I have shallow boobs, tall + wide root.

I've got purple one. I think this bra is made for me! How can I describe it?
It is not heavily padded, so there's no quad-boob effect. Its straps are comfortable, soft. This bra is absolutely gorgeous. I do like the appearance of this bra.
I have wide root, shallow bust and this bra fits perfectly. So, if your bust shape is similar with me, I'd like to recommend this one. Also, as a half cup bra, it may fit well if you have FOT shape. Not for narrow, FOB bust.

This is a luxurious bra. The lace is a divine soft grey, and the orange satin fabric is jewel-like. Simply lovely. The bra works well for shallow spectrum. I only wish the wires were a little wider and longer, as I have a little tissue that escapes into my armpits if I wear this bra for a while. But over all not a bad fit.

This is the pistacchio colourway. I bought this bra in a sister size to 30F and altered the band down. I usually wear 28F (sometimes 28FF), but I already had a Bronte longline (spice/orange colourway) in 30F and it is a good fit (sometimes very minor center quading, other times not).
My boobs are shallow, wide + tall roots.

I got also matching brief size L. I usually wear M but M was not available. The L fits okay, ideally it should be a little tighter, but it is okay. M would´ve been better. The fabric is quite stretchy, so I guess I could´ve gone away with S even.

I bought this bra in sister size to my usual 28F and altered the band down. I think the cups are the right size for me, it´s just thet they´re a little bit the wrong shape. The cups´ closing in the centre is too steep for me, I get some quadboob in the center and nowhere else. Other than that they´re okay. I have wide + shallow boobs with long root. Straps adjust all the way, 2 hooks + eyes.

It is a very pretty bra! I also have matching thong in size M, which fits me very well (M / UK12 is my usual size).

I bought this lovely bra in 32DD (due to availability) which is a sister size to my usual 28F. This is the peacock blue colourway.

The band was obviously too big, I altered it down. The band doesn´t stretch much, or it is quite rigid, beware. The cups are almost okay, but I´ve noticed a little quadboob in the top of the cups. So maybe one size up would´ve fit me better. I have shallow boobs and wide+high roots and the shape is okay. The wires come quite high in the armpit and also in the center. I had to bend them a little so they wouldn´t stabb me. ... I´d prefer them shorter, but I can wear the bra without pain.

One curious thing. I have 3 colours of this bra, mink, peacock blue and purple. The mink seems to fit differently from the other two!! Peacock blue and purple brasare good for shallow + wide boobs, but the cups of the mink colourway are definitely deeper!! I get a droopy shape in the mink bra :-/
I don´t know if this really is due to colour, or size. They are all different sizes (all sister sizes to 28F): mink is 34D, peacock blue is 32DD and purple is 30E.

This is the mink colourway. I found it in a sister size to my usual 28F and altered the band down. It is such a pretty bra but the fit is different from the peacock blue and purple ones!! The bra obviously is not a good fit for me and I´ll have to sell it.

This bra has deeper cups which are NOT a good fit for my shallow + wide boobs. My boobs get a pointy shape and they are not uplifted in this bra. If I tighten the straps, the cups cut in and if I loosen the straps so that there is no cutting in, boobs ... get a droopy shape. The wires are also a little too narrow for me. I would definitely recommend this bra to someone who has less shallow and narrower boobs than me!

About the difference between colourways:
I don´t know if this really is due to colour, or size. My Chloes are all different sizes (all sister sizes to 28F): mink is 34D, peacock blue is 32DD and purple is 30E.
Purple and peacock blue are an okay fit for my shallow + wide boobs. The mink is not!

This is SUCH a beautiful bra!!! Such intricate, delicate detail. I LOVE the pretty little bows, with the pastel pink and contrasting mint green colors on the gore and straps. And the cute little hearts on the back of the band add a nice touch.

I had a feeling this would be too small, though. I was afraid the 30F would be too big. But I think that would be a much better fit. The band on this feels a little loose to me for a 30, and I have it on the tightest hook! The cups are very short, but it is a half cup bra. Of course, this causes major quad boob for me. But I think a band size down and a cup size up might actually work. I just love the pretty colorway of this bra!!

30F/FF narrow and tall roots, projected, full on top

The wires of the Maya are not quite as narrow as I would like but are close enough to the right width that it isn't uncomfortable at all. Overall this bra is very comfortable and I like the fit. My only minor complaint is that the top edge of the cup is a little less open than I would prefer and it cuts into my tall breasts ever so slightly. It's not anything that anyone other than myself would notice though.

The band is quite wide, but about usual length for this brand. Therefore the material does not provide a lot of stretch (as for example a Freya Patsy does).
The Cups are quite shallow and broad wired. The deepest point would be right at the top seem (about 25.5cm). It appears to be quite steep and pushes the bust up and towards the center.
Cup depth: Other than most of the reviewers I don´t find that the cups run bigger in size. I am currently about a 30FF and would need to size up to avoid quad-boobs.

There's no way I would have bought this bra if it hadn't been on sale - like most Fauve bras it's on the expensive side! Fortunately, there's a reason for the expense: the bra is beautifully made and looks great. It's also a near-perfect fit on me. It has slightly more projection than my boobs have naturally, so there's a bit of empty space around the nipple in the left cup (my smaller breast). The shape it gives me is great and uplifted, and it's also very comfortable. I'd say this is an excellent bra if, like me, you have full on bottom breasts with a wider root.
