Very short-waisted, immediately projected, slightly narrow, shallow apex projection, even vertical distribution, center full, close-set breasts....
Narrow projected ladies, this is a readily available bra that may fit! Wow. This has better projection than the 65G SM Ewa Michalak I just tried. Although 30F Dreamcatcher is too narrow for me, the immediate and apex projection are nearly perfect. Curvy Kate 30G Bardot is a similar fit, but this 30F Dreamcatcher has slightly better immediate and center projection. You may be able to tolerate a smaller Dreamcatcher than your typical size, if you need narrow wires.
Center projection. This bra has more center projection than Bardot, Portia, Madagascar and the CK ...plunges. If you have center full breasts, the gore will likely be too wide, but there is fabric to accommodate tissue near the wire. Although it is one size too small, I continue to use it as a baseline for all other bras, because I need center projection. Gorsenia tops Curvy Kate as do some of the disconnected gore models offered by Wacoal. Still, Dreamcatcher is better than most.
The band is not as supportive as I had hoped. It is a single layer mesh and runs a bit large, in my opinion. But, if you need to narrow and/or overlap a gore, this band has the extra space required for that alteration in your preferred size. Finally, the band has 2x3 fasteners. Curvy Kate adds 3x3 fasteners at 30FF, which I prefer.
Sadly, the outer materials are scratchy. The fine mesh lining the cups, however, is very soft amd smooth. If you have sensory issues, Dreamcatcher is not a good option. Gia is better, but the geometric material along the top of Gia's cup will irritate some. Still, I recommend Comexim and Lejaby for those demanding the softest materials.
None of my complaints are significant enough to sway my recommendation: narrow and projected breasts may adore the space in this bra. I like it well enough that I'm searching Bratabase measurement tables to identify the next size. Many thanks to those of you who add measurements!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> A 30FF is on its way. The projection is THAT good. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
Ideally I would like my bras to hold my breasts on the front of my body, and I found this one nearly does that, but I still feel like the girls sit a little wide. The shape of the cup is very nearly rounded, but comes to a slight point, which I have yet to really adjust to as I have been wearing lined bras up until the last couple months, when I found you wonderful people. Over all I'm really liking curvy kate, because the fabric feels nice and flexible while still having enough elasticity to stay in place correctly. Over all very happy with this bra.
This bra is very nice looking and less scratchy than the CK Princess. The upper edge of the cups are still slightly itchy, so not good for people with sensitive skin. The top of the cups are closed and fit well on my shallow top. I find the cup width on par with the Princess, therefore it is too wide and shallow for me. It does not do a good job of pulling my breast tissue toward the center, this bra emphasizes my splayed shape. If the CK Princess is a good fit for you, this bra is an attractive looking alternative.
My shape: Projected, short rooted, even/functionally full on bottom, somewhat narrow, soft tissue.
The cups fit true to size, but the band on mine runs about a size large. Overall this fits me OK, although I do get some rubbing on my tail of spence, and I get a hint of the "upside down 7" shape. The vertical seam is quite pronounced, which creates a strange looking lumpy line under clothes. I'm pretty underwhelmed by the Dreamcatcher, and will be returning it.
This bra fits really well! The band is snug and the wires follow my imf/the edges of my tissue well. The gore does twist slightly, but it lays flat at all points and doesn't poke or dig. I'm assuming the twisting is due to my close set, center fullness. It does a good job of supporting my breasts. I recently wore it during a shift volunteering at an animal shelter. It held everything in place through cleaning, bending, lifting, holding squirmy kitties, etc.
My second HG bra! If only the nude color was cheaper... Like the Portia, it has elastic sewn into the top of the cups to keep it from overflowing and gaping. The embroidery seems cheap and shiny and is already starting to fuzz up. But it fits! Close set and full on top with projection. Gives a natural rounded shape.
Short, projected, center full, even, slightly narrow, close set breasts....
Narrow and projected breasts: this 30FF has a 5.5" cup width and 11" of projection. This is one projected cup! And, the immediate projection is second only to Gorsenia and Comexim (unlined only). Obtaining this amount of projection in every other brand I've tried resulted in a "too tall" cup height. There are wrinkles in my narrower breast's cup, because the gore is not flat. The gore is too wide.
The 30F Dreamcatcher fit better in the top of the cup, but my slightly narrow breasts required more cup width. And, the yellow fizz colorway is softer, but that is ...due to several months of frequent handwashing by its previous owner. The black colorway is stiff. However, a soak in vinegar/water may remedy this issue. The fit is so good, I will tolerate the stiff fabric. How I would love Curvy Kate to improve the texture of this fabric. Ellace and Florence are soft, but Dreamcatcher is stiff.
Whereas Portia holds the breasts closer to the body, Dreamcatcher allows significantly more center and immediate projection. These are the characteristics that endear me to Dreamcatcher. My breasts are happy in this bra...until I sit. The cup painfully collapses. My breasts become torpedoes when I drive/sit, and I need the immediate and center projection only Gorsenia provides.
Dimensionally, Dreamcatcher is remarkably similar to Madagascar. However, Madagascar is...uncomfortable for me. I attribute this to Madagascar having less center projection and slightly less immediate projection. However, both bras receive strong recommendations from me. If you need more center projection, choose Dreamcatcher. More center projection is available in these CK bras: http://www.bratabase.com/list/glk/ And, if these are not center projected enough, Gorsenia unlined balconettes are the most center projected bras I've encountered.
With one reservation (the fabric), I recommend this bra for narrow, projected breasts. The fabric may be lamentable, but you, like me, may find the fit overcomes all fabric concerns. I'm armed with Eucalan and vinegar... https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
I tried this on sort of on a whim at the local bra store. They had a sale but I figured Curvy Kate wouldn't work for me. I've always suspected I'm even/full on top in shape but without a second set of boobs to compare to, I wasn't too sure. Tried this one, and it might be my best fitting bra I've ever put on. There's slight wrinkling at the outer top corner on my smaller breast, but the other side is smooth, no gaps or cutting in. The material could definitely be softer but I think with some wear and a few washes it will be fine. It gives me a nice natural slightly rounded shape, under clothes it just looks very "me" and there's no weird point or flat spots some bras will create. I'm pretty excited about this one.
I was a little iffy about Curvy Kate after trying one that fit but seemed really cheaply and poorly made. This one is much better! The shape is just a little pointy but overall very natural and flattering. The back slides up just a little but isn't a dealbreaker.
The bra is very pretty, but the fabric is a bit too scratchy to be comfortable to wear all day. The support is adequate, although the fabric is a little bit flimsy, The straps are set too wide at the bottom for my taste and comfort, but that is probably the way the balcony style is. The center sternum pokes me a little when I lay on my side. Excellent separation and lift, but I would need a softer fabric to wear it all day. The wires are of a narrow u-shape, which I did not think would work when I first saw it. However, the wires fit beautifully with the exception of a little poking occasionally in the armpit.
