A bra that fits my shallow shape quite well, aside from the stretchy, loose band. I'm not a huge fan of the colour combo, but it does give a nice shape, though there isn't as much uplift as with the 28DD - Curvy Kate » Entice (SG1601) . I do get painful digging in from the center gore, not sure why.
I ordered it in the Pink/Ivory, a cute colourway that reminds me of My Little Pony. Bur I ran into the same problems as with the Curvy Kate Entice (SG1601) : too wide wires, too wide cup, too wide set straps, very painful underwire digging. The cups were too big for me though, I couldn't fill them. This one was returned as well.
This is a beautiful bra! The mesh is quite pretty and it's well constructed. I was sad that it didn't fit, the side underwire cut into me enough that it hurt for awhile after I took it off and the center gore I could fit a thumb under (top down) with wiggle room. The top of the cup was almost low enough that my areolas were barely covered.
Very pretty bra, but the band is too loose on me. I have to wear it on the tightest setting or else it rides up and puts the center gore in an awkward position.
Bought this bra because of a dress in the same color and upon checking this faboulous site. But I keep reaching for it since it is comfortable and gives a very nice shape. Simple but not annoying, it stays in place even when moving a lot! The fabric is soft and thin but supporting (double layer on bottom) And I like SO MUCH the criss cross motive....I give excellent for the look because the overall look when I wear it is very nice.
Whoa! This is the first bra I've ever owned that fits me on the loosest hook. That alone makes me forgive all small fit issues. This bra was recommended to me by the bratabase recommendation algorithm, I bought it even though I'm not usually a fan of soft fabric cups. Compared to other 28-band bras I own this one is the tightest.
I recently lost a bit of weight and went from a 28FF to a 28E. I loved this bra before the weight loss and was apprehensive to try it again, since my shape has changed. I‘d best describe my shape as full on top, narrow-ish roots and of average height. I am fairly projected and have softer tissue. To my surprise the bra fit great. No cutting in, great shape and a comfy fit. I higly recommend it!
This plunge bra is cute and sheer. It is a soft cup with two seams. The upper is lace and the lower is mesh. The band is mesh as well. There is a subtle polka dot pattern on the mesh. The wire is shallow and the straps are wide and fully adjustable. Unfortunately, this size doesn't fit me. The gore tacks nicely on my chest but the band is too tight and although the wire seems to fit fine, the cups are wrinkly at the top and sides.
This is a nice moulded foam bra. It's invisible under some of my tighter shirts. I love the color; it's a pretty blush pink with a subtle leopard print. However, on someone with a warmer skin tone would find it a brownish color. The straps are wide and fully adjustable. The band is a sheer mesh. This particular size didn't fit me. The band was too tight and the wire sat too low on my chest. The gore was flat but dug into my skin. The top of the cups cut into my breasts (at least the left one, which is the bigger one).
This bra is very good quality and it's very cute. The cups are two separate pieces. The inner piece is foam with two vertical seams. The outer piece is a very pretty decorative flower lace. The lace is soft rather than scratchy. The straps are wide and fully adjustable. The band is a sheer mesh. However, this particular size does not fit me. For me, the band was much too tight and the center gore dug into my chest. The gore didn't tack; I could fit my finger between it and my chest. The wires dug in under my breasts but I believe that is because of the band. I will do another review when I exchange this bra for one that fits.
I chose 28 over 30 because reviews say that 30 has really loose band. But the band really runs short like everyone said. It was way more hard for me to close the hook than Freya deco strapless 28E. But the real problem is the shape of the cup. Wire is really narrow that it could not cover my wide root, and is too hard and stubborn that it stabbed my sternum even when I wore it with the hook extender. And while the cup was narrow..it was overall deep - shallow at the bottom, gets deeper as it goes up, and then curved a bit to close the cup ...- and it was more like a full cup rather than a half cup, and the top of the cup is somewhat closed a bit, although it has only vertical seams. If you have narrow, projected breasts, you may want to give it a try. It was definitely not a bra for my shallow breasts with wide roots. My breasts get out of the wire on the sides but cannot make that contour suggested by the bra on the top although I fill the top of the cup. I also tried the 28F, whose wires did met my roots. However, the problem with the cup shape seemed more obvious with 28F so I'm returning both of them. Read more 114 more words
I have very tall roots nearly all the way to my collar bone and this type of bra works well. I also thought I was quite shallow and wide but I'm not sure about that now as the wires on this bra sits quite far below my breast tissue, suggesting I'm pushing the wires down. Despite this, I think this bra still technically fits better than my old bras, but my next try will be something that's a half cup with more projection in the cups.
Band feels good, pretty firm for a 28 and as a 26 bander I can wear this and feel like it's not too loose.
Cup shape doesn't work with my boobs. Cups are just slightly too deep in the apex so there's some wrinkling at the nipple. And the seam edge cuts into my boob and more tissue than I prefer is left unsupported because I have loads of centre/top fullness. And there is empty space at the bottom of the cups, like the wires or cups start too low or are too shallow there.
I really love the pink and black colour scheme and tiny star pattern. It looks very cute in person. I purchased the matching boyshorts in small/UK size 10 and they are very comfy and give good coverage. Their measurement from side tie to side tie is 15". Fit is perfect on 37" bum.
I like this curvy kate style. Full cup, high center gore, padding, all good for a nice support. I've tried smaller and larger sizes to this one, and I was expecting this to be the right one. It happens that it is a bit too small, but the 28F is too big. It makes a slight quad bood, and there's breast tissue not enclosed on the sides. I also can't fill the bottom of the cup. I kept it anyway, maybe it will fit when I get a little bit smaller. This bra is lovely! Short cups that are fairly open on top. Wires nowhere near my armpits. Super short gore. Narrower wires and seamed cups to deal with projection better than others. Lacy but not bumpy.
Bandeau bikini top, with removable adjustable straps. The cup has three vertical parts, lightly padded. I really like this bikini top, but I will use it only with the straps. Without them the cups tend to open a litte on top with movement. The top is supportive and confortable. It doesn't get a weird shape when layed on our back, probably beacuse it has a high cup.
Moulded lightly padded, low center gore bra. I think this bra is too shallow for an E cup. I'm a 28E in other Curvy kate bras, namely, the Smoothie Deluxe, and in this there is bood escape on top, on the sides and in the middle. Even though it is a Smoothie, it is a very different style from the Deluxe version. Besides being smaller than the usual size, it has a much lower center gore, and therefore, it doesn't provide a good support. Even though it was too small, I couldn't fill the bottom, because it was too shallow - a problem I also experienced in other moulded cup Curvy Kate bras.
Looks so much cuter and sexier and darker-coloured in person than the stock photo, I'm surprised. The red trim and the black wings and print go together nicely imo. Band seems tts. Cups too projected for me. Seems like a good choice for narrow and projected, and maybe fob or shorter root breasts. Overall I'm disappointed this wasn't a cup match for me.
Me: tall roots, close-set, average or narrow width, even but functionally FOT, centre-full, size asymmetry. 26" and 34" leaning.
