This bra made me cry for a while. It squeaks, oh God it squeaks like a door with a broken hinge. At first I thought that the seams are screaming for help since the band is DO DAMN TIGHT, but no. That was the fabric loop in which the metal part of the strap moves; when I breathe or bend over or move in any way it squeaks. Loudly.
Pros: beautiful cleavage, exquisite fabric choice (the tulle/net/embroidery thing), adjustable straps Cons: SQUEAKING. Band fits very very tight, so I have to use an extension for additional 3 sets of hooks.
Couldn't really write a proper fitting comment on this bra as I returned it immediately a while ago, but I can mention that why I returned it was that it kept squeaking constantly whenever I moved. The fit was otherwise unmemorable, I remember it looking okay, but not being very comfortable. It might have worn in and become more comfortable with time, but between the lackluster fit and the constant noise, I decided it wasn't worth it to keep at the time.
This bra is lovely! Short cups that are fairly open on top. Wires nowhere near my armpits. Super short gore. Narrower wires and seamed cups to deal with projection better than others. Lacy but not bumpy.
Just a quick disclaimer, I am not familiar with all the technical terms for bras but I just thought I'd share my experience https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />.
First of all, I like the fact that my bra feels like it is a good quality. Thick sturdy staps, good material, great support, makes my cleavage look great. And can we talk about the fact that it doesnt look like something my grandmother would wear ("nude", plain, and gross lol). The fit is just wrong though. The bra I have fits for about 10 minutes but once I start moving I have to constantly make adjustments. The ...band is on the tighter side and the cups seem like they're really far apart. I always have issues with the sides of the cups digging into my armpits. It's like they're too wide. No matter how many adjustments I make, every time I bend over almost half of my cleavage falls out in the middle (I'm not really sure if that's due to the cups running small, my body type, the bras design, or maybe a combination).
I wear this bra occasionally because I like it so much but I can never wear it for a long periods of time due to the constant adjustments I have to make and the cups digging in. Read more 116 more words
I bought this on a zulily sale a while back because I'd been missing having it in my collection when I was smaller. While it's not technically a great fit (quad boob nation) I love the comfort, shape and cut of this bra!
Finally, a Curvy Kate bra that actually fits me! I'd pretty much written off this brand as one for people who were narrower/more-projected than me (or didn't mind being stabbed by the gore, a la 32DD - Curvy Kate » Ritzy Padded Balcony Bra (SG2101) ), but this is just right - no gaping, comfortable cups, nice rounded shape/lift, plungey but unlikely to escape in the middle (an advantage of wide roots). However, the one downside is the seams - they give a nice shape but they show through a lot of my tops. May not keep it for this reason.
I really love this bra. It's sexy, elegant, and comfortable. The cups do allow for a fair amount of projection and the wires are narrower than most Curvy Kate. This is the first bra that I've bought since starting my bravangelism journey that has felt normal. It doesn't feel like industrial or heavy. I love the low gore and the close cups. If you have wider rooted breasts or a lot of center fullness this may not work for you. The cups also are rather low and the straps are set for narrower frames so this bra is great for petites. The band on this really is too big for me, but I love it so much I may keep it anyways. The band runs true to size.
