I also tried this bra in 28DD, see that review for more information.
This size has the same cup shape issue, though sizing up didn't squash me on the sides as much. Though the wire width and sides of the cup fit much better, now the center and tops of the cup have way too much extra room. Just not the style for me.
I had given up on ever finding a bra that fit this well. It is perfect and extremely comfortable. Lots of people say that plunge bras don't work on wide/shallow busts but this one is great for me.
The "points" of the cups (where the straps attach) do come up quite high, so it may not work with all shirts.
Really pretty bra that I kept even though it doesn't fit that well. The band doesn't fit and the cups are too small! It just didn't fit me well enough to provide adequate support so I never really wore this bra. Too bad because it's beautiful!
Surprisingly this bikini runs tighter in the band compared to Curvy Kate bras (which I consider a good thing!). Not as tight as Freya or Cleo Swimwear, but pleasantly surprised. This particular bikini top runs very deep. I cannot quite fill the top, and worry that if I swim in it, it will fill with water and cause major displacement. But, if you run deep this could be a really good basic bikini. If I had purchased a 28DD I'd probably be perfectly content (I usually wear 28E-F).
Very firm construction, supportive, just WAY the wrong size. Gore and sides are quite small/low. Not sure if this would be corrected with right size? Maybe not.
Beautiful bra, but I've learned that Curvy Kate bras don't work well with my breasts. They don't cut in anywhere, and give adequate support...but they give me that "upside down 7 shape". For reference, I'm pretty even (top and bottom), but have wide set, splayed breasts.
It's pretty as can be, but not the bra for me. Major quad boob. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I tried it on once, but I need up a cup sized. The band is great!
I love its light lining and it would be a fabulous t-shirt bra if only it fit. I will try up a cup size.
This is such a gorgeous bra. It's pretty shallow, so my breasts can push it down over the course of the day (I have too much lower projection I guess). The cups are also REALLY thick. The wires are narrow in this range, which is different from a lot of CK bras. I like that, but if you need wider wires, it's not the bra for you.
Really bummed that this one did not work out for me. I have shallow breasts but somehow ended up with major quad boobs AND the worst orange-in-a-glass effect I have ever experienced of all the bras I've tried so far.
An okay fitting, comfortable bra overall. The band is quite good for a 28", though (as always) I could use a bit tighter band. My small breast doesn't entirely fill the upper section, and a slight wrinkle is visible on the side near the straps. There are no fit problems with my bigger breast, although tissue leaks out after a while. The padding is a bit bulky, but the shape is very nice and makes for a comfortable everyday t-shirt bra. I think it's better suited for those with full on top breasts.
This bra is very pretty but is WAY too shallow for me. I'm usually in between 28E/F so I ordered both, but I probably need at least a 28FF in this one. It's very pretty and I think in the right size would give a nice shape, but if you're at all projected I would definitely recommend sizing up.
Technically, it fit. Unfortunately, as many reviewers noted, I can confirm it's very uncomfortable to wear. The underwires are stiff and U-shaped and poke into the sternum and into the sides. The cups are open on top and shallow at the bottom. This seems not the best thing for my breast shape (I get nip slips when bending forward). It's not a big issue under clothing, but I decided I don't feel 100% good in it and so I'm not keeping it.
If I'd try it again, I'd pick a 30DD instead of 28E, hoping this will fix the poking wires. The band felt pretty firm so it will probably work.
I saw a quick hack to make it more closed on top by taking in the ribbon at the brim of the cup. Sounds like a good way to fix the open cups.
I think this bra could be a little better fit through the cups, but it's the most comfortable bra I own. I will definitely consider Curvy Kate for bras in the future. I've had it for a while now and it hasn't seemed to stretch out much. The side-boob support is wonderful.
The material of this bra is very nice. It's soft, not itchy and it's beautiful fabric in general. It's very comfortable except a bit too small for me in the cup size and just a tad snug for the band as well.
