I should have ordered a 34G. I'm sending this one back. This bra looks pretty good other than that, to the best of my knowledge. My breast tissue is overflowing at the top all the way to the side wire. The structure of the bra seems fairly similar to Panache Envy but with narrower wires and obviously a less deep cup. When I get a 34G in this style, we'll see how that one does.
another one of my try on orders. i think this 34FF fits a bit better in the cup than the 34F, i dont feel like im about to pop out the sides or top. but with this one, im getting some gaping along the top of the cup as i move, near the armpit. i can never tell if this is a cup volume issue, an issue of the straps being too wide and shoving the cup around as they catch in my armpits, or because the gore is too wide so the cup isnt able to sit correctly. in any case, it wont work for me, so ...its getting sent back after this try on and review.
the band feels snug on the first hook, but not uncomfortable. it feels the same way if i wear it backwards/upside down. the straps are as uncomfortable as the other sizes ive tried, both because they are super narrow and hard, and because they just *barely* adjust long enough. i think the gore is a smidge too wide, because it seems to not want to lay flat, it buckles into itself. i cant tell if its laying on breast tissue in an uncomfortable way, because i wont be wearing this aside from reviewing. /r/ABraThatFits calculator put me at a 32G, so I picked up this sister size to try on; definitely did not fit. Gore is uncomfortable, and this was just all around about a size too big for me.
It's too small by 1 cup size. I got it for a great price from Breakout Bras on amazon. I was tempted to keep it until I saw it under a shirt - way more "purple" shape than I like. Oh well, it was fun having boobs up to my chin for the short time I tried it on.
Despite purchasing around the same time as I purchased 34FF - Masquerade ยป Ardour Sweetheart Moulded Bra (7181) , in the exact same size, the fit was totally different. This bra was always a bit snugger, & the quality was nowhere near as good as the Masquerade one. It was an OK everyday bra but seemed to require more adjusting throughout the day, & usually left me quite relieved to remove it at the end of the day.
I read reviews that indicates this bra runs small in the cup so I ordered a size up. I have to wonder if the cup issue only applies in certain colors as the orange color way is a bit too big for me - I can fill the bottom and the outer side of the cup very well but the top gapes. With a lot of adjustments I can make it work - but who has time for that? I might try to get this in a 34F as I do like the bra.
Appearance wise, this is a pretty bra. I went out of my comfort zone and got the bright orange. The heart accents are adorable.
I had recently purchased a Lucy in 34F. It seemed to fit - I had no spillage along the top or the sides - but the underside of the cup felt strained and there was just the hint of in-cup quad. I felt I could do better so I ordered a 34FF to test.
Can we say fit PERFECTION? I now fill the cups completely and comfortably. The lower part of the cup no longer feels strained and the in-cup quadding is gone.
It is a tight fit. Cannot wear anything flowy on top of the bra without a inner shirt. When worn an entire day, it leaves a mark. The underwire does bite in the side. When I bend over and straighten up, its results in a slight quad boob. Overall, this is a good fit, but would I buy this size again, no but the style, yes.
Band is wayyyy too tight in the floral neve model. The floral pattern is VERY vivid, something I could imagine a young girl choosing for her first bra: not sexy, just loud and juvenile. i bought it because it had been marked down and I was curious to see if the model was a good fit: its crazy tight in the band and gives a bizarre orb-like shape. There is very little forward push: no side support and no kissing happening for me- not the right shape plunge unfortunately...
bought this used some time ago, never wore it because it didnt fit. just getting around to reviewing it now, but as ive never worn it for an extended time i cant report much! as far as condition goes its in terrific shape (cant remember what the person i bought it from had listed as wear, sorry!). no obvious wear that i can see, aside from some very minor pilling near the inside of the cups.
without any adjustments, the gore is WAY too high and the underarms wires are short. theres about an inch of empty wire channel though, so i shoved the wires all the way towards ...the armpits, which is more comfortable, but leads to gaping at the center where the fabric at the gore is no longer tacked down. it essentially makes the gore wires stop at the part where the lace trim starts. if i were so inclined i could probably hack it up and sew it down, but i dont like the shape this gives me anyway, so its not worth it to me. ive also already got the band on the tightest hook, and i dislike how narrow it is, so it would be senseless to do all that surgery on this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Read more 108 more words
This bra fits notably differently than the Kali or the Lori (sister cuts), so if you're expecting the same fit, be ware. This bra is not projected enough for my close set, centre-full, projected breasts. The gore does not quite tack (not that it's a disaster). It's too wide in the gore. It splays my breasts. The band is pushed down because there's not enough lower projection (not a regular occurrence for me). The band is looser than the others (in same size). It's not as supportive - likely because the fit isn't good. Both Lori and Kali are deeper (by about an inch, for size) and narrower fits. I will be returning it.
The Melissa fits just like the Cleo Minnie Balconnet Bra (7431) I own and the Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) I've tried on. It also fits me just like the Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) , although I understand they are different models. The lace laid nice and flat without cutting in, but the center gore is a little high for my comfort. I'm also not a fan of the the red trim.
The lace trim on the cups stands straight up/out on me and shows under shirts in a really stupid way. The center gore digs in and the underwire pokes me under the arms, too. You ladies aren't kidding when you talk about shape mismatches. I'm narrow and projected, this bra spreads me out and pokes. Too bad, 'cause I love the print!
Feels a little tight, but that will probably go away after I wear it for a while. It fits really nicely, very similar to the Marcie bra. I love the deep purple color. It's my favorite!
I thought that this would be the perfect bra for me. I have been researching and thought I had even fullness but sadly it doesn't work. The gore tacks but is painful. Also the wires poke me on my larger side
I love the pattern and style of this bra. Unfortunately, I think it might be too shallow at the bottom of the cups for my boobs, regardless of what size I try it in. This particular size was a bit too loose in the band, and I couldn't quite fill up the top of the cups, especially the section where the lace edge attaches to the top of the cup; the lace edge just flopped around and wasn't held in place by my boobs.
LOVE this bra! Very pretty and the fit is good. I've been struggling to find a good size and make for me, and I think I've found it. I have augmented breasts, forward facing boobs that are close set AND I am short-waisted. Technically a 32G should fit but I've been finding the bands very tight (I think I may have a V shaped torso, perhaps? Just add it to the list of fitting problems LOL). So, overall very very happy with this cleo bra!
Love the colors of this bra and wish it fit better. It gives me quad boob and the wires dig into my side boob. I do like how front and center it puts the girls so thats a plus. Would love to try it in a 34GG or 36G to see if some of the fit issues could be solved.
The band is very tight but quite stretchy. I would assume with several wears it would become more comfortable. Very bright and vibrant colorway.
bought this forever ago and never wore it, finally time to review it and pass it on! Its not my favorite color scheme, but it was on sale and at the time i bought it, i fit into the sister cuts of it well, so i was after it more as a duplicate. it didnt fit me from the start, so its been in my bra drawer unloved. its not a super loud obnoxious plaid, more muted and with a faded effect in places.
the material of this bra seems very stiff, much like how my Juna was. im guessing that it would break in after a few washes, ...like my Rhianna. the band is firm at 33 inches, but would likely loosen with wear, so i would suggest getting your usual size and wearing an extender the first few times. the straps are half adjustable, with the back half more stretchy than the front. like most half cups, they are placed a bit wide for me, which is a huge peeve i cant usually get over. the gore seems slightly overlapped, although im not sure if that is a defect or on purpose. its a bit too high for me and presses painfully, another big no-no.
unlike most of the cleo bras, this one has no empty wire channel, the wire fills it all the way from gore to armpit. the wires are narrow at 5.5 inches, so that is a plus if you need narrow. im not sure if i do anymore, since some bras seem too narrow at 6 inches but these seem fine at 5.5. i imagine its more about the shape of the wires- these are a very U shape. the cups quad on be a little bit on my larger side, and the lace lays flat, which is a sign in the Juna family that the cups are too small.
