Cup wires are wider than Marcie. The bottom gore is very thin/unlined/unenforced and cuts into my skin a few minutes after putting on the bra. I feel it the entire time cutting in me, so I have to put a piece of fabric/or tuck my shirt under the gore and even the wires sometimes. The wires are hard and not encased enough. and lays lower than my IMF and leaves red marks.
This is incredibly uncomfortable for me right from putting it on. Bought second hand/pre-worn, but this model just doesn't work for me. I believe a lot of it is due to the seperated pieces of band/gore, unlike all my other bra models. Also the flimsy/weak lace combined with the too hard wires.
May try to sew a dart in gore to see if fit is better, but overall a fail.
Extremely shallow, which leads to a too tight band. I have deep wrinkles on the underneath of the cups. Wires slightly wider then I require. Gore does not lay flat. Leaves marks even after 1-2 hours. Fabric and construction is good though. Don't have cup gapping.
Edit: Sewed a dart at the gore. Overall fit is better. The cups are still shallow, but there's less creasing at bottom of cup. The wires are closer and feels like where my actual breasts end too. Nice smooth, round look under clothing. The measurements indexed are still the original ones.
My best fitting bra. Love the forward and rounded look. The gore doesn't poke, the elastic and bra lace fabric are very comfortable. Band doesn't stretch out too quickly. I do get quadding after scooping, and the gore digs in then, but its still a very comfortable bra. Might try in a 30gg.
This is really comfortable and similar to Blake. So far Skye, Blake, and Hettie seem to work for me in the 30G also the biggest issue I find myself having is bras staying at my IMF. I have a short torso so I don’t have much room and also when I measure my underbust if I’m not dead on when my measure is done it really throws my measurements off it changes my underbust measurements at least 1 inch or more smaller just by it being slightly lower. I recently figured this out! How such tiny things can really alter the fit. For reference I believe I’m Center full, projected, narrow to average root, I have a bit of a hang but still pretty firm not too much. I don’t think I’m wide set nor close set somewhere in the middle. I’m learning by trial and error.
So I just absolutely love this Bra! It is super comfy and it has pretty narrow and projected cups! It’s a nylon mesh type material so it’s got a little stretch to it but I felt from the moment I put it on the comfort and no break in time was needed! It may not be best under all shirts but if you need a go to bra for comfort this is definitely on my list. The band is TTS it feels firm but not so tight you have to take it off after wearing it a few hours or less.
Fits well on my smaller side, but quads on larger. The mesh on the top of cup is not forgiving to assymetry. The pink is really neon, and the heart embroidery is kind of juvenile.
So cute... but painful on me! Thanks to the fitting help section I've come to understand that the straps are far too wide for me, and this is definitely a better fit for shallow boobs. It's also difficult for me to fill the top of the cups (not a surprise with my chronic FOB fit problems https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> ). I have pretty heavy boobs and a weak back, which isn't a good combo with the very slim band. A poor fit for my shape, overall
About me: size 30FF/G or 32F/FF but most comfortable in 30G. Very projected, close set breasts with short and narrow roots. Even vertical fullness and center full. Best fitting bra is Cleo Lily in 30G.
I had no idea if this bra would fit me when I bought it. The Lucy was too closed on top for me, but the Blake (which is supposed to be similar to this cut) was recommended so I thought that I would give it a try. I am very glad that I decided to go for it! I really like the fit of this bra because I feel like it does a ...great job covering the tops of my breasts. Lace tends to gape on me, but this bra is made of a really rigid material that keeps its shape and holds things in place.
Because I'm close set and center full, I'm struggling with the center gore, but I have yet to find a non-plunge style where the gore isn't a problem. My gore is still tacked, but it pokes into my breast tissue a little.
I think that the colors and design of this bra are great. Sometimes I feel like Cleo's designs are too frilly for me, but this one seems more feminine and understated without being plain or looking like a granny bra.
I think that this bra has a nice profile and gives nice separation under a t-shirt. It gives a pretty round shape as is typical for Cleo. Read more 143 more words
About me: 30FF/G but can comfortably wear 32F/FF. Usually, 30G is my go to. Very projected and close set with short, narrow roots and even fullness (also center full).
When I tried the Kayla, I thought that that it was the best thing ever. But this puts Kayla to shame! The bottom of Hettie is firmer than Kayla, so it does a better job of holding my (very soft) tissue in place. I also had some slight folding of the top lace in Kayla, but with Hettie the lace lays smoothly against my body. Hettie also has lower gores than Kayla, so it feels more comfortable for my short roots. The straps and gore are both a little wide for me, but that's just part of being close set and having narrow shoulders. I really do love this bra and how comfortable it is.
I think that the shape of this bra is nice, but I would prefer if it was slightly rounder. The color is fine and it seems to be well-constructed.
Me: very projected and narrow-rooted, even to FOT, center-full, soft tissue.
By all measures, this one fits. It fits better than any of my other bras. The gore tacks gorgeously, and the cups are great on the sides and top. The depth seems perfect at the apex and the top. (This is the only Cleo deep enough for me.) The cups have a little wrinkling in the bottom near the underwire, smoothing out as they approach the apex.
As well as it appears to fit... it's just not particularly comfortable. I keep putting it on then taking it off to put on something that doesn't fit as well but I like better: Cleo Blake, CK Portia, etc. I also like the Cleo Kayla in 30GG better even though it's pretty obviously too big for me. It's not as supportive because it's too big, but the band feels better.
Maybe there are subtle fit issues going on here that I can't detect with the naked eye, but can only feel.
Good feeling of support. I see more fit issues than I feel. Gore a finger-width of tacking. In-cup quadding along the cup seams (the joys of soft tissue), center-quadding. Cups seem to be open enough, and band feels nice and firm. I adore the colors. Up a cup size or 2 would probably be a better fit, but this bra is discontinued so it's impossible to find.
I'm so glad that this was recommended to me! I have close set, very projected, even breasts with narrow and short roots, so I've struggled mainly with depth and wire size on past bras. The wires on this are narrow and they aren't the shortest, but they're short enough that this is comfortable and not digging into my armpits. Because I'm close set, the center gore digs into one of my breasts a little, but I've had that problem with most non-plunge bras. The straps on this are a little wide for me, which causes a small amount of gaping at the top, but overall I love the fit.
Deep, even cups, with nice accommodation for top-fullness in the stretch lace.
This is oddly a better fit than the 32FF I tried in the blue colorway, even though the cup volume should be the same. I'm not sure if that's due to the size or the colorway. This is a pretty perfect fit for me, I just can't grow another ounce of cup volume. If I get another, I'll get it in the next cup volume up (although I've heard that in GG+ the stretch lace is less forgiving).
Right shape, wrong size for me. I also tried this bra in a 30GG, which I kept.
My breasts are wide set and splayed with outer fullness, fairly dense, and fit in bras as though they're even (or near even). I also have a v-shaped torso. Band is on the snug/tight side for a 30. The red is prettier than I expected--between a strawberry and raspberry red, maybe?
This size looks really close in pics, but...too small in the cup. The wires are possibly slightly too narrow, the lace cuts in (mainly on my larger side, although with the way the lace is, doesn't look as bad as it is), and the gore lifts on my larger side, despite not having close set breasts/the gore not being too wide for me.
