How do the CHP run compared to the PL and S? I ordered a 65gg in both of those and they were too small by a full cup size. Do all of her padded bras run small? Thanks!

Small compared to which bra and model? :) There is no standard for how big a certain size should be. In your size range it might be fairly consistent, but I have both KK cups and HH cups that have the same measures and volume. So, you really need to compare with something.
Personally I would say that the CHP tends to run a tad bit larger than the other two, but if you size down och stay with the same size seems to be more dependent on your individual shape and preferences rather than some global rule. :/
I've heard a lot of people say to size up in the padded cups but not in the unpadded ones - yet I have a 65FF CHP which fits perfectly when I should need a 65G/70FF if I were to follow the size up rule. And I have a 70FF S which is so laughably big on me it looks like I'm a pre-pubescent trying on her mum's bra. So I guess my shape doesn't require sizing up ;)
From the measurements I've looked at, it does seem as if the plunges run smaller in the cups than the other models - but then again, maybe that's inevitable given the nature of the plunge cut? Not sure, I've never seen one of those in person.

The new EM bras are sold out in the styles/sizes I want! I finally have some money in my PayPal account, and it's too late. Guess I'll be keeping an eye out for any resells on here in sizes 65H or 70GG!

You can definitely order them...the green CHP does custom sizes too.
@teremaailma Thanks for the info!

Huh. I think I would rather have a boob job or lift and wear a bra. lol. I like bras and would never want to be braless. lol. That's a crazy idea. I'm sure somebody might want to try that. lol!
It´s kind of sneaky the way they compare this to a bra. It is a boob job and a surgery after all!!

Hi, I have been doing a lot of blog reading recently, trying to find what sort of bras would best suit my size and shape. I have worn Bravissimo 34H since DC but at the weekend was fitted as a 32HH, 32H in Cleo and fantasie and 30HH in Freya ( not that Freya bras seem made for me)
My boobs ... are quite close set - less than a little finger width between them visibly, so my understanding is that I should look at plunge bras, however I am also full in the middle so fall out of plunge bras very easily or they start wrinkling under my cleavage ( a bit like my boobs eating the bra - nice). I have tended to go for higher gore balconettes (Bravissimo but am finding my previous favourite Boudoir Beau to have an odd shape in my new size) and am trying a Cleo Marcie today (wires sit almost one on the other so good for the close set) but still get empty cup where the strap joins.
Does anyone else have this mix ( close set, full in middle ) and are there any suggestions for a better fit?

When you have a lot of inner quadrant fullness, it often makes the breasts look closer than they are. The fact you've been able to wear all these higher gore bras without mentioning floating gore or pain from gore sitting on breast tissue makes me think you should focus on looking for tall, narrow gores to support you properly.
Thank you, I only get floating gore with Freya ( I had a Leia fitting a couple of weeks ago where the woman said I should scoop away from the gore and toward the armpit and that I'd never get a gore to tack fully - which I haven't in Freya).
I am wearing Cleo Marcie today and you cannot see the gore - my boobs are touching above it but it does not hurt, occasionally it rubs a little but nothing major. Are the Cleo's and Bravissimos what you mean by tall and narrow gores ?

I used to get these things in my mailbox every other week or so, but some time ago they just stopped coming for some reason and I really am in dire need of some post-pregnancy "lingerie" (read: some super sexy cotton maxi briefs and a couple of nursing bra-like things that can double for sleeping -- it's amazing and not ... a little disconcerting how a bunch of such purely utilitarian items add up, though). Anyway, my question to you lovely ladies: does anybody know of a discount code that might be working at the moment? I remember seeing a list of regularly recurring ones that might be worth trying somewhere some time ago, but I can't for the life of me find it again ...

According to retailmenot.com, you can use paypal10 for 10% off until May 31st. Some exclusions apply, but I don't know what those are. Nobody who's commented on the code has mentioned any exclusions.
Thanks! :)

There isn't a way to search for bras from a brand by season, is there?
If you at the brand page that has all the sizes on the bottom part, that page should say what season, what year and what color. Here's an example:
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/freya/deco-moulded-plunge-bra-4234/ Here's another page that show different seasons:

I tend to get scraped up by lace on the bottom edge of my bra under the cups. Is that just because of my awful posture, or is it also because my cups are too shallow so the band isn't gripping tighly enough? Or is it that my band is too tight?

Once you've scooped and swooped, do your wires sit flat against your ribcage? With the gore flat in the middle and no breast tissue escaping out the sides? If so then your cups are probably deep enough.
With the hooks at their loosest at the back can you still pull the band away an inch or so? Then it's probably not too tight.
Maybe you have rubbish posture or - is your waist bigger than your underbust? Sometimes the bottom of my bra digs in simply because I get wider :)
Or maybe you're more sensitive than some. Do you react badly to all lacy bras or do some offend more than others? The laces manufacturers use can vary hugely in softy factor and some can really feel like sandpaper!
It's hard to say, can you link to a particular bra that causes this problem? It could be lots of things--your posture, the shape of your ribcage, a fit problem, or a design/material quality issue with the bra. Some bras certainly have cheap, scratchy lace that I could not wear for 10 minutes even though I can wear a lacy bra all day if the materials are comfortable (see my bra list for multiple examples).
Do you have other reasons to suspect you have insufficient depth in the cups or a too-tight band? Maybe do a fitting request and people will help :-)

I need to buy myself some cookies/pads/inserts in the interests of correcting asymmetry, and maybe every now and then to pad out a bra which runs big in the cups (the joys of buying online...)
My problem is I have no idea what specifically to buy. Is there a certain shape that's preferable? And more importantly, a size? One eBay retailer ... kept going on about size small/medium/large which fits cup sizes A-B/B-C/C-D. Obviously this can't correspond to actual cup sizes, which go beyond D, but as a 30F/FF I'm left at a bit of a loss as to which to buy.
Anyone more knowledgeable care to educate me?

If you go to a sewing store (like a Joann's Fabrics, if you have that where you live), they typically sell a couple of different types of pads. Not a ton, but a few. The important thing is that you can pick them up and look at them and get an idea of how big, how smushy, etc they are before buying.
I know I've read that a lot of people who are correcting asymmetry usually prefer the gel / silicone "chicken cutlet" style. I don't know why that is, that's just what I always see people saying that they use. Those things are kinda heavy though.

So, I'm sort of in love with EM's CHP style, though I've never tried it. They do a lot of really neat colourways for just that style. I'm terribly curious about something though... They list it as only going up to a certain size, even for custom sewing, and yet there are some shots of their bustiest model wearing it. Do they sister size her in like there's no tomorrow? Do they make one just for her to model? Do the cups actually run quite large? What's going on there?

Isn't it that sometimes they make them in the S or PL styles, which have a wider range?
I hear they initially make wider size range but when they run out of fabric, they cannot make them anymore. Could this be the reason?

is that the size you're looking for? Check out this list of listings:
http://www.bratabase.com/listings/?size=32c&brand=&bra_type=&kind=&status=&ordering=-creation_date&keyword=&filter=Search+listings
32c was my old (wrong) size. Now I'm 30dd, 30e or 28e depending on bra/fit, etc.
