So, after settling into to my new bra size after breast reduction surgery, I've been most comfortable in two bra styles - 36E - Claudette » Dessous Mesh Underwire Bra (CD2000) and the 36DD - Wacoal » Halo Lace Seamless Underwire (65149) . So, I was super excited to pick up a new Halo Lace ... in deep purple. I couldn't find a picture on-line other than the one posted by my favorite bra store, Lilabea's, which I'm linking below. The color is even more stunning in person and it's definitely making me look forward to fall weather and wearing darker colors. Bring on the cooler weather and more delicious dark bras!

I just added stock photos for that model on the pictures page:
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/wacoal/halo-lace-seamless-underwire-65149/pictures/
For many bras, you should be able to find manufacturer's official stock photos under the "Pictures" section.
I love that your bras are seasonal like the rest of your wardrobe :-D I'm a bra redneck and wear white bras after Labor Day and dark bras all summer!

I saw this on Zulily today and I was considering getting it because I thought Zulily had gotten the name wrong and it was the Parfait bra labelled René Rofé. But I looked at the pictures on here and compared it. The main two differences I see are that the Zulily one has no center bow and the top of ... the cups are missing the black piping.
Other than that though, is it just me or does that look like almost the EXACT bra? Down to the strap placement and the small black stitching in the same areas, material and everything.. what's going on?!

Google brought up a few sites that sell that bra/brand as well, so it seems like it's just a *very* similar (possibly knockoff?) bra to the charlotte. Charlotte was just on zulily a day or two ago, not sure if it still is, but it pops back up pretty often if you're looking for it
Probably a knockoff. I think the real one has contrast trim on the tops of the cups. (I think.)

Does anyone else have a hard time letting bras go? Even though they clearly don't fit anymore?
I just listed a few today and have some more. I still hold on to my old Arizas although they are 2-3 cup sizes too small. I used to love them so much when they fitted me. Should I really hold on to them ... just in case my boobs go back to smaller size? Also I have a super pretty Freya Bikini that I never wore and planned to alter but it's cups are much too small and I could never wear it altered or not
Ahh I think I just list all that do not fit me anymore. I need the money to buy myself some new bras that fit me at the size I am right now.

I pretty much keep all of my bras listed all the time. Partly because I haven't found anything that REALLY works for me, and partly to keep the bra circulation on the site going.
Hm I feel like listing them is really "letting them go"... ah I have a hard time letting things go in general. But now that I listed everything that does not fit me anymore, I feel so liberated:)

This is a gorgeous bra, very sexy. Seems made for wider set boobs, the gore area curve of wire sat against my breast tissue. I think this bra is only just to big in the cup for me. The straps are like wearing a super tight gun holster. Hah. I'm glad I tried it out to get a better idea of what cup size I am. Will probably relist it. I wouldnt get a size down mainly because of how wide the straps are.

(Purchased new without tags - don't remember where - probably ebay)
Ivory/oyster color
Fit mostly when I got it about 5 months ago. Cups were too tall, but otherwise everything was fine.
Since I got it new without tags, the band did fit a lot more snugly than the other one I have. Fast forward 5 months and I've lost more weight and ... sometimes have to wear it on the middle eyes, depending on what part of my cycle I'm in. It may or may not have stretched out also, but I never wore it more than once every couple weeks, so I kind of doubt that's the reason it's too big on me now.
Wearing it tighter makes the strap placement more in my arms. Yes, I did say arms, because they're naturally far enough out of my body frame they are actually on the outsides of my armpit creases unless I pull them in.
The cups are too tall and too big. (I just need a different size.) The stretch lace makes it still wearable for when I've forgotten to wash my bras and I need a neutral-colored one. Like right now. Which is the only reason I'm not measuring it. I came to add the fit and review and figured out I forgot to add the bra to begin with. Oops.
Wire is too wide.
Center gore is too high for me and my short torso/high-set boobs.
Side wires seem like they'd be fine if they were in the right place on my body. It's hard to judge when they're that far back on me.
~~~~~~
Whenever I wash it and take pics, I'll list it.
I got this Triumph Doreen a few months ago as loved the idea of a red bra. In a 34H this is a bit tight for me although it does give a firm fit. Not too much bounce here. Having said that my boobs are rather squeezed in. Gives good projection and looks fine under most clothes. T-shirts rather give ... away the industrial structure of this bra though, both in terms of the 1" wide straps, side boning and the cup profile. I got this in a K cup as well now and that is definitely a better fit - but not available in red I understand.
I am 7 months pregnant and trying to find supportive underwire bras.
This is my second pregnancy and I haven't gained nearly as much in my breasts as I did with my first. I had lost weight between the pregnancies and weighed less than I did before getting pregnant with my first.
Right before I got pregnant, I was a 34J. I ... have a short torso and my ribcage felt like it immediately expanded the day I got the positive test.
I'm wearing most of my 34/36 band bras (mostly HH cups as I didn't size up to the J) but with an extender and I'm finding it isn't enough.
Recently I bought a 38JJ - Panache » Jasmine (6951) . I have a 36HH - Panache » Jasmine (6951). I know it is a jump up in cup sizes but I wanted to make sure I'd have something that fit for when my milk comes in. Now I'm worried that I went TOO high and maybe a J would have been fine. The top of the cup gapes and I can't fill it so clearly it is too big. Looking at the bra volume chart, I'm wondering why I ever thought I'd gain THAT MUCH volume. It may need to find a new home if I don't get super engorged after my second is born.
I recently submitted my new measurements to /r/abrathatfits and a helpful user on there felt I was closer to a 38H. Seeing as how I feel my 36HH - Panache » Andorra Full Cup (5675) maaaaaay need to go up a size, I worry that it may be too much and am debating just going through Amazon since I have Prime in order to try on a few. It also helps that the Andorra can be altered into a nursing cup.
I also cannot stand the gore on the damn Jasmine (even the small one) and my best fitting bra is a 34HH - Curvy Kate » Emily (CK5001) . 34 sounds tiny but the band is pretty stretchy. The gore and wires are probably the best fit I've had so far.
Using the volume chart, the difference between the 38JJ Jasmine and the 36HH Jasmine is 740cc. The difference between the 36HH Andorra and the 38J Andorra is 660cc. I'm worried *that* is too high and maybe I should go for a 36 but I really really really hate tight bands right now and feel like I'm wearing an ill-fitting corset when I have them on due to the ribcage expansion. Or should I just size to a 38HH? The cups on the Andorra REALLY do feel like I'm maxing them out right now. I know it runs a size small in the cups...which is why I'd rather do a HH or a J.
I've updated my measurements here (not sure if y'all can see) and would really appreciate any help at all.
I'm starting to wonder if I measure things differently than others. When I measure a band, I go from the last (meaning outside... furthest) set of eyes to hooks. I don't measure the bit of band that sticks out after the eyes.
I also don't stretch the band as far as humanly possible. I try to just stretch it until I ... can feel it solidly resisting, but without distorting the wires *too* much. Some bras distort wires as soon as you pull on them, so it's impossible to not distort at all, but I try to keep it reasonable.
And I try to measure after it is freshly laundered and dried. I don't measure immediately after it has been worn.
Do other bratabase users do this differently?
I do include the bit that sticks out after the last row of eyes (too fiddly for me otherwise) but in all other respects I measure the way you do: pull only until I meet real resistance, not to the point of serious wire distortion, and preferably right out of the package/right after laundering, never right after wearing.
I was initially measuring the extra bit of band that sticks out past the eyes, but then I noticed that the instructions said not to, so I went back and remeasured everything I had entered.
I'm lazy about doing measurements, so it wasn't a ton of work.
Hey all. Can anyone give me some advice regarding numbers on Canadian bras? I have, for example, a white La Senza Body Kiss with two different sets of numbers:
CA 23226
SARS 20205380
Neither of these numbers matches the format of other bras on Bratabase. Typing in the first number brings up three different models. Typing in the second brings up nothing. Typing ... "Body Kiss" brings up several options, but none of the numbers match. All of the numbers for a "body kiss" search are formatted xxxxxx-xxx.
Is this a case when I add a new number? Do I guess based on the image? If I'm adding a new model number, how do I input it?
Comparing this tag to a La Senza Perfectly Me I have, it has the exact same numbers and additional number:
08291
CA 23226
SARS 20205380
I have no idea what these numbers mean. Thanks for any input.
PS - if you happen to know a good way of photographing labels, I am all ears. I am seemingly only able to make them blurry, shadowed, overly bright, and/or impossible to read.
Edit: I also have 5 or 6 La Vie En Rose bras that have no identifying features on the tags, but all say 11297. None of them are the same model. What do I do with these?
No idea about the numbers but for photographing the labels, see if your camera has a 'macro' setting. I've got landscape, macro, and portrait. Macro will focus in on small things better so they aren't blurry. Then you just have to try flash/no flash for lighting.
Ah, it does! Labels are coming up clear now. Thanks so much :)
I ranted about the bad fit on Bratabase facebook page :P
What I did not understand is why they announce it as new if there have been people who's had it, we have a couple of entries here.
Is it only a new color, or their new season in general, but the model is not new for this season for sure.
I'm curious how it fits on someone who's a J cup since as far as I know, there hasn't been a strapless to fit that cup size.
I agree that it doesn't look full on top friendly, although I wouldn't mind trying it just to see if it's any better than the one's I've tried before (none of which I consider mind blowing).
Is there anything innovative about it? The only innovative strapless bras I've seen are the Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless Bra (9341) and another one that was on kickstarter that had 'gecko sticking technology' I said I was going to buy, but didn't actually buy...
